Introduction: Anti‐dipeptidyl‐peptidase‐like protein 6 (DPPX) encephalitis is a rare condition with varied symptoms including gastrointestinal issues, weight loss, cognitive and mental dysfunction, and hyperexcitability of the central nervous system. Methods: We studied five patients with anti‐DPPX encephalitis who received immunotherapy, specifically DFPP, at our hospital. We analyzed their clinical symptoms, lab results, electrophysiological and imaging findings, and outcomes with immunotherapy. Results: Patients presented with cognitive dysfunction, tremor, seizures, psychiatric disturbances, and cerebellar and brainstem dysfunction. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed brain abnormalities in one patient and elevated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) protein levels in two patients. Antibodies against DPPX were detected in all patients and in CSF in two patients. One patient had antibodies against anti‐CV2/contactin response mediator protein 5 (CRMP5). All patients responded well to DFPP and corticosteroids. Conclusion: DFPP may be an effective treatment for anti‐DPPX encephalitis. The aim of the experiment was to investigate the effect of VC and bacterial enzyme complex combined with glucose on serum biochemical indexes, immune and antioxidant function of cows with antibiotic poisoning. Twenty cows with antibiotic poisoning, weighing about (250.00±10.23) kg were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, with five replicates in each group and two cows in each replicate. The cows in the control group received an intravenous injection of glucose and VC, and the cows in the experimental group received an oral administration of glucose and bacterial enzyme complex for seven days. The results showed that compared with the control group, on the 8th day, the leukocytes, neutrophils, erythrocytes and hemoglobin of cows in the experimental group were significantly decreased ( P<0.05), and the platelets were significantly increased ( P<0.05). The activitiy of ALT and CK, and the concentrations of TBIL, Na, P and BUN in serum significantly decreased ( P<0.05), while the concentrations of ALB and Ca significantly increased ( P<0.05). The concentrations of IgM, IgG, IL-6, IFN-γ, SOD activity and T-AOC in the serum of the cows in the experimental group significantly increased ( P<0.05), while the concentrations of MDA significantly decreased ( P<0.05). On the 8th day of the experiment, there were no significant differences in blood routine, serum biochemistry, antioxidant indexes and immune between the experimental group and healthy cows ( P>0.05). The study indicates that glucose and bacteriase complex treatment can effectively improve the blood routine, serum biochemical, immunity and antioxidant function. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to study the influences of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on compressive mechanical properties of cement-based materials, uniaxial compressive test was conducted on cement-based materials with different of CNTs content (0% ~1. 0%, mass fraction), and acoustic emission (AE) and digital image correlation method (DIC) were used for whole process monitoring. The results show that with the addition amount of CNTs, the compressive strength of specimen increases first and then decreases. The compressive strength of specimen reaches the maximum value when the content is 0. 6%, which is 23. 6% higher than that of control group. When the content of CNTs is 0.8%, the compressive strength of specimen is 10.6% lower than 0.6% CNTs group and 10.5% higher than that of control group. The ringing count and energy change are in good agreement with stress-strain curve of specimen during loading. The ringing count and energy sudden increase can be used as early warning basis for the damage and failure of specimen. The strain value in loading stage increases first and then decreases with the increase of CNTs content, and the specimen with low compressive strength first shows obvious strain changes. The main strain cloud diagram is mainly axial distribution, indicating that the failure mode of specimen surface is mainly vertical splitting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
