El siguiente ensayo pretende explicar los efectos de la pandemia del Coronavirus en los distintos patrones sociales, especialmente en aquellos que están estrechamente relacionados con la tecnología. La explicación de este fenómeno proviene de un análisis a profundidad sobre las obras más populares del sociólogo Herbert Marcuse: El hombre unidimensional. Estudios en la ideología de la sociedad industrial avanzada(1964) e Industrialización y capitalismo en la obra de Max Weber. (1968).

One of the major concerns of the social philosophy is the technological revolution and its impacts on the social systems. Critical views on the systems from the social philosophers depart from the social predicaments of their time. The pivotal critic of Karl Marx in his work of Das Capital , for example, is on poverty caused by the system of capitalism. Capitalism, for him, only produces various social downturns such as slavery, oppressions, exploitations and impoverishment. Herbert Marcuse, meanwhile, pointed at the same problem, but he came from a different point of view from Marx. Marcuse criticized the abundant society. In One Dimensional Man Marcuse rendered a couple of incisive critics on the industrial society. Industrial society, for him, is marked by the abundance and surplus but this society is still oppressed under a new type of slavery, called voluntary slavery . We may briefly say that both philosophers rendered critics on the same matter of the industrial society, but the two stood on the different position. Marx’s critic was on the hungry and deficient society, while Marcuse on a satiated, plenteous and surplus society. The aim of this paper is to present of how Marcuse’s One-Dimensional Man ends in the digital age.

The article presents an analysis of reflections of the Western philosophical anthropology and anthropological oriented philosophy of education upon the digital culture as a new stage of the mass culture development inherited from industrial society. It was done with the aim to show the heuristic potential of the conceptualizations of the digital culture in philosophical anthropology and philosophy of education. The orientation function of the concept “homo digitalis” is unveiled, which is wide-spread using in the West-European, especially in Germany, and in the provocative philosophy of education. The ideal-typically construct of the human as the creation and the creator of the digital culture explains the distinctiveness of the communications in the space of this culture which is represented generally as a visual culture making provocation on purpose making close of the traditional writing culture. There is settling a comparative analyze of human figures created of the different generations of the German philosophical anthropology with accentuating on the semantics of homo digitalis, homo faber and homo creator which are partly complementary. The spatially and temporally characteristics of the digital culture are described, its forms of the communication are explicating in their singularity where the phatic communication predominates and risks of the digital alienation exists. The digital culture changes the self-recognition of the post-industrial societies which need world-view and moral orientation including expertly moral evaluation that is necessary for the prevention of the modernization risks. The pathologies of the digital culture, especially the digital dementia can be observed in the practices of the digital education else, but the blended Learning, if it is rationally organized and adequately administrated available resources, can minimizes those pathologies.

In the development of the global economic system, the cumulative knowledge from past to present is of great importance. This knowledge produced by social life offers creative individuals and groups an opportunity to produce new meanings, values, contents and a source of inspiration. The influence of creative sectors in the urban life and socio-economic climate built by the industrial society created by the industrial revolution has started to increase in recent years. In the current industrial economic organization style, together with entrepreneurship, the creativity based on knowledge and technology have been added nowadays, to the land, labor and capital required for production. However, worldwide studies focus on the beneficial aspects of creative economies. There are not many studies in the literature on the past and future problems and development of the creative sector from a long-term historical perspective. In this context, it is necessary to reveal the relational ties of creative sectors with other fields; how they are positioned in national economies and how they will be analyzed. In this framework, the study aims to determine the position of the creative economy in the general economy by using the studies in the literature, to reveal the relational ties of the creative sectors with other actors, to identify the challenges in the sector, and to reveal the policy implications in creative industries. As a result of the study, it has been observed that the creative sectors are nested cellularly in all sectors of the general economy, from tourism to the automotive sector, from urban life to social networks, due to the internet, information communication technologies and digital applications. Since the outputs of the creative economy are based on the intellectual property rather than physical products, it has been determined that problems arise in the financing, accounting of services and contents introduced in this field, and measurement of the products at international standards. In addition, it has been observed that the time perception in creative sectors and the time perception of the industrial economic system differ from each other. Another important finding obtained as a result of the research is that creative economies create class differences in urban spaces and cause social segregation.

Introduction.Insufficient consideration of the human factor and the inability to fully realize its potential has led to criticism of mechanistic management as a basic in the industrialism formation. Subsequently, against this background, humanistic management was introduced, which in some way compensated for the shortcomings of the mechanistic approach. However, the cultural and historical aspects of humanistic management have remained out of science's attention so far, which has necessitated this research.Purposeand methods.The purpose of the article is a theoretical and historical analysis of the humanistic management culture, identification of its features and key factors of development in the conditions of industrialism. The methodological basis of the research is the dialectical principle of cognition, systemic and cultural approaches to the study of social phenomena and processes, the fundamental provisions of the theory and history of management culture.Results.It is established that the culture of humanistic management, in contrast to the mechanistic concept of “economic man”, which responds only to material incentives, uses the “social man” concept, which assumes that, in addition to material gain, the worker seeks to meet moral needs. In this case, the formal organization with officially established rules is complemented by an informal organization based on behaviorism, based on the theory of Y, moral aspects of interaction, B-leadership and the motivators’ predominance that guide human activity to self-realization.Conclusions.The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to identify the objective preconditions that led to the emergence of a culture of humanistic management, as well as to generalize the features of the main directions of this culture of management. The practical significance is seen in the expansion of ideas about the theory and history of world culture, including in them previously virtually unexplored in the cultural and historical context of the ideas of humanistic management of the industrialism era.

During the formation of contemporary democracy, its ideologists strived to create a management mechanism that did not resemble monarchy at all, so that to emphasize the radical nature of social-political changes in the transition from pre-industrial to industrial society. The dynastic transfer of power in all its manifestations and at all levels of governance was denounced as outdated, ineffective, and violating the very foundations of the peoples will. The article shows that, despite the initial criticism, dynasties are widespread in contemporary politics. The family is a part of politics and systems of public administration in a truly post-industrial form - as a brand, image, and symbol. The transition to the post-industrial society predetermines a change in the attitude to dynasties and their role not only in politics but also in systems of interaction with the population (electorate). Based on the analysis of other research and authors data on political dynasties at different levels of government in 17 countries, the article proves the changing attitude to political dynasties even within democratic systems. Political dynasties increasingly often contribute to the creation and expansion of social networks, establishing sustainable political ties, ensuring gender presentation in government, etc. There are numerous manifestations of dynasties in countries with different levels of social-economic development (developed and developing) and different types of government (authoritarian and democratic) due to the application of marketing thinking and technologies in politics. Dynasties allow to effectively use the family potential to create and promote political brands, to ensure sustainable social choices of political candidates and parties, to facilitate political socialization of new generations and relative predictability of politicians behavior, who would follow a family line in making important decisions.

The world of information is mediated by digital technologies, and the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on society, through its involvement in everyday life, is likely to present issues with lasting consequences. In the context of improving community well-being using AI, the knowledge, insights, and impressions or analysis required for activating such improvement necessitate a frame of reference. This frame needs to take into account how well-being is understood within the current paradigm of technological innovation as a driver of economic growth. The evaluation of well-being, often defined as an individual’s cognitive and affective assessment of life, takes into account emotional reaction to events based on how satisfaction and fulfillment are discerned. It is a dynamic concept that involves subjective, social, and psychological dimensions, along with a state of being where human needs are met and one can act meaningfully, thus highlighting a relational element underlying social and community well-being. Transitions from a predominantly industrial society towards one that is information-led demand a strategic social design for AI. This article evaluates how well-being is understood within the current paradigm to offer a framework for leveraging AI for community well-being.

On September 20, 2017, Maria, the eleventh-most intense Atlantic hurricane ever recorded, made landfall at 6:15 am local time, the second category 5 hurricane to strike the island in as many weeks. What followed was one of the most challenging recovery situations since Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans in 2005. Using 402 newspaper articles from The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, I performed a deductive and inductive analysis of print news media frames to demonstrate the complex ways in which the discourse and actions of key social agents and institutions shape disaster risk for the archipelago before, during, and after Maria. Findings suggest media framing facilitated a lack of accountability for key institutions obliged to provide response and recovery. Key powerful actors, including President Donald Trump, shifted blame for the disaster from FEMA and other key institutions to Puerto Rico, effectively protecting the legitimacy of the Trump administration and its response in Puerto Rico. I argue that these processes are owed to economic factors. Here, Beck’s concept of an institutionally dependent “industrial society” is reconstituted in economically vital urban centers. In contrast, the failure of key institutions causes rural spaces to abandon them. This individualization of risk marks what Beck refers to as the emergence into a “risk society.” This article offers important implications for the study of media as a key site for the selective preservation of institutional legitimacy during disasters and the particular and contingent development of a risk society.

An approach to the process of forming a digital ecosystem in industry in the context of digitalization has been presented. The aim of the study is to develop recommendations on the formation of a digital ecosystem of industrial cooperation based on the use of the technical capabilities of digital platforms in the context of the expansion of the digital industry. The result of the study is a digital ecosystem based on the theory of a new industrial society. The article emphasizes that advantage of reindustrialization for industry is to use a digital platform and to work with big data. The generated results will contribute to scientific research aimed at implementing digital transformation programs for industrial enterprises.

Summary Post-modern societies are characterized by information-based functions that generate the anthropogenic stimuli (as opposed to the industrial society of energy processing and the traditional society whose activities are related to the production of natural crops). Hence, life in the information overload becomes a tiresome daily reality, from which only a very few may escape. These escapers might be regarded as consumers of the new type of ‘luxury goods’ such as: silence experiencing and positively valorized solitude allowing deeper insight into oneself. The polar regions provide an opportunity to withdraw from the anthropogenic noise of the civilization. I do believe that it is one of the most significant drivers of the increasing popularity of traveling to these regions of the world.

As one of the logical consequences of the transformation process from agricultural to industrial societies, human activities contribute some pressures to our environment, especially air quality. Kalimantan Island, as the third-largest island on Earth, expected to be the world’s lungs, transboundary massive haze problems frequently occurred on this island, especially between 2011-2015. Since the fire forest started from the Indonesia side of this island, reliable information about air quality in Kalimantan-Indonesia and environmental education’s urgency toward this result becomes essential to explore. Air Quality Index (AQI) is measured by a passive sampling method with SO2 dan NO2 as pollutants’ parameters. These two parameters are recognized as a valid measurement of air pollutants, strongly affect human health, and are understandable by ordinary citizens, especially middle school level students. AQI reached 94.27, which is categorized as a good-quality index. Among the provinces, the highest AQI was reached by East and North Kalimantan with 97.63, while South Kalimantan has the lowest with 91.41. Furthermore, the NO2 parameter contributed much larger than SO2 parameters in all provinces. AQI Kalimantan tends to increase, although South Kalimantan tended to have a lower air quality index than other provinces from year to year. This result drives comprehensive support from the education sector to build environmental understanding. From an educational perspective, this result shows the urgency of enhancing science education with air quality discussion. We suggest a possible enhancement in substance and its transformation section and the Science-Environment-Technology-Society section in Science for Junior and Senior High School. The procedure of AQI measurement and the urgency of maintaining AQI are needed to be integrated into the science curriculum.

The airport networks need large amounts of public funds. In addition, the airport network is supported by one of the main economic activities in modern industrial societies: transfer and movement of goods and passengers. Today, the airports need pavement network management and maintenance alone is no longer of any use. The purpose of this study is to provide a method to prioritize restoration and maintenance strategies in the rigid concrete pavement through implementing the Airport Pavement Management System (APMS) technique. In this paper, the Micro PAVER, which is the most comprehensive software in pavement management, is utilized. Furthermore, the prospects of pavement management on the runway pavement of Imam Khomeini airport were investigated by assessing the status of the airport’s rigid concrete pavement and applying different scenarios and procedures of restoration and maintenance. Ultimately, prioritization strategies of restoration and maintenance on the airport’s rigid concrete pavement are proposed.

Theories about political protest point to three sets of variables responsible for promoting engagement in such actions: resources, grievance and values. There is consensus on the importance of resources, but the influence of grievance and values remain inconclusive. Discontent alone is not enough to motivate protest, but in societies at intermediate levels of development, grievance could be an explanatory variable. By contrast, values would have a limited effect, given that value change in developing countries could only be incipient. In view of the new cycle of protest in the region and wishing to contribute to the debate on the subject, we aim to discover what the relationship is between these three sets of variables as regards Latin Americans’ predisposition to protest. Given that these countries find themselves at an intermediate level of economic and social development, it would seem that the primary motivation for protest is discontent, as under such circumstances the relative scarcity of resources presents little obstacle to mobilization. On the other hand, as the societies in question are not advanced industrial societies, the associated low dispersion of emancipatory values would exercise limited effect. To test these hypotheses, we looked at data from the sixth wave of the World Values Survey with reference to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. The results suggested that grievance was irrelevant as an explanatory factor. Participation in protests in the region is determined by the mobilization of resources and values.

The significance of the concept of noonomy developed in the works of Professor S. D. Bodrunov, including his monograph “Noonomy”, is wider than just a hypothesis that paints a picture of promising shifts in the socio-economic structure of society. Since this concept is based on the study of a number of real trends in the development of material production and human knowledge – both technological and socio-economic, to the extent it creates theoretical and methodological prerequisites for the study of the further evolution of human civilization.Highlighting the patterns of this evolution is the growth of knowledge intensity of production, increase of knowledge capacity of product, the trend to the predominance of the weight of knowledge on material costs in the cost structure of production, the displacement of people from the immediate process of production – the concept of noonomy allows you to see a number of intermediate steps leading, ultimately, to the formation of a non-economic society and non-economic way of productive activity. One of these steps is the formation of a new industrial society of the second generation (NIO.2).Those deep technological shifts that lead to the formation of NIO.2, carry with them not only new opportunities for human development and meeting its needs, but also the growing risks of technogenic pressure on nature, and reckless interference in the nature of man himself. Economic rationality turns into inflating simulative needs in the pursuit of sales expansion and profit, leading to an increasing absorption of resources. There is a movement to the civilizational crisis, to the point of bifurcation, beyond which the resolution of these problems should be achieved by changing the criteria base of economic activity by moving away from economic rationality, and a corresponding change in the social structure.The identification of these distant strategic development prospects in S. D. Bodrunov's works allows us to take an appropriate look at the immediate pragmatic goals. In particular, the solution of the problem of reindustrialization of Russia appears, from this point of view, not only as a tactical necessity, but also as a necessary prerequisite for entering the strategic highway of development.

The article considers such a social phenomenon as social trust, the degree of knowledge of this phenomenon. The author gives a definition of social trust. Social trust is considered as one of the factors of quality of life. The transformation of social trust from an industrial society to the contemporary stage is being studied, including the stage of the global crisis amid a pandemic. The main trends in changes in social communication during a pandemic are analyzed and a forecast is given for further changes in the principles of building trust. The emphasis is on the fact that after the pandemic social trust will be easier to arise in the virtual space than in the physical. The author names the criteria of social trust. The basic criteria of social trust in modern media communication are considered.

Modern-day work is a central reason for unsustainability, and its transformation is therefore key for sustainability. A recurring manifestation of this issue is the ‘jobs-environment-dilemma’, a trade-off arising due to severe ecological impacts caused by work on the one hand, and the structural constitution of modern industrial society as work-centred and work-dependent on the other. We draw on interdisciplinary literature from environmental sociology and related fields to analyse both aspects: distinct factors of ecological problems associated with modern work, and various dimensions of structural dependence on work in modern society. We find that this conflict, and the fundamental role that work plays for unsustainability, are not sufficiently addressed and remain unresolved issues in sustainability research. To change this, we propose the conceptual approach of ‘postwork’ or critiques of work to open up a new perspective on the work-environment problem. We introduce postwork theory and discuss different ways in which ecological postwork perspectives and arguments can contri-bute to understanding and resolving entrenched sustainability issues. Finally, we briefly illustrate existing postwork politics and practices. While clearly contested, there is renewed momentum for social change towards a sustainable society which would benefit from addres-sing work and critiques of work.

The modern way of life and reflected in modern political philosophy is directed by capitalist activity of both commodities and persons. Entities that do not have commodity value are worthless to the capitalist enterprise, regardless of any intrinsic value in themselves. Modernity is capitalist modernity. Modernity has given preference for objects/commodities over persons. This paper will argue for opening-up the landscape for alternative experiences to capitalism, as an attempt to move away from the capitalist enterprise. That is, be able to provide open space for people to use other than the buying and selling of commodities---where the commodification process breaks down and opens-up spaces for alternative experiences besides the capitalist experience. In other words, this work will attempt to serve as critique of Enlightenment philosophical discourse---that is, serve as a critique of the Age of Enlightenment serving as the foundational head of modernism---a plea for the rebellion against the quantification and mathematization of reality under modernist and industrial societies. It will use the modern landscape as the first effort to break free from the capitalist enterprise.

Purpose In Hong Kong, robberies occurring in the elevators in high-rise buildings were identified as a particular problem and the purpose of this paper is to address a dedicated programme aimed at reducing such offences. Design/methodology/approach A comparison of elevator-based robbery statistics over a ten-year policy-implication period, in two police districts, one with a high rate of public ownership and a traditionally high rate of elevator robberies, the second with a higher rate of private ownership and a traditionally lower rate of such robberies. Findings The evidence suggests that the programme was successful, with such robberies declining significantly and with no evidence of displacement. Research limitations/implications This research is based on police statistics. There is a need for more research, for example, investigating residents’ involvement with the system and the extent to which it encouraged shared ownership of the initiative. Practical implications What is clear is that, where in the West the Newman legacy led to the demonisation of high-rise public sector housing, in Hong Kong, where there is no viable alternative, the use of CCTV helped transform such areas into safer communities. Social implications The rate of robbery, most notably elevator-based robbery, fell dramatically, improving community safety. Originality/value Though there has been a considerable amount of research on the impact of CCTV on crime, almost all of this has focussed on Western industrial societies and little of it has addressed robbery. To the best of authors’ knowledge, this research is the first in Hong Kong, and the first to evaluate the impact of CCTV on robbery.

Este estudo se debruça sobre os downshifters - indivíduos que fazem a opção por desacelerar seus ritmos de vida, buscando equilíbrio entre trabalho e lazer e estilos de vida mais frugais de forma a minimizar os efeitos das sociedades industriais capitalistas urbanas. Explora um tipo particular de comportamento em um estrato social específico - um grupo social formado por famílias que têm filhos em uma escola Waldorf, em Florianópolis, Brasil. Foi possível perceber que os aspectos formadores de movimento altera não só indivíduos, mas também as famílias inseridas no espaço educacional que se apresenta como resistência ao sistema educacional tradicional. Os Waldorf assumem premissas do downshifting. Sob a ótica da contracultura, formam um grupo coeso de classe média que tende a restringir sua rede social àqueles que compartilham o mesmo estilo de vida; suas ações cooperativas fomentam sentimentos de pertencimento e solidariedade que ajudam a legitimar estilos de vida alternativos em uma sociedade consumista.

La constante creación tecnológica y la cultura del consumismo hacen que las personas cada vez más quieran sustituir los aparatos electrónicos que utilizan por otros más avanzados, contribuyendo a que cada año la basura electrónica aumente. Se busca que los residuos electrónicos, no terminen en un vertedero o incinerador, y que más países se unan al buen manejo y tratamiento final a través de la economía circular. La irrupción de la Revolución Científico Técnica y el proceso de internacionalización y de liberalización mundial, ha sido el suceso que ha originado nuevos desafíos políticos, económicos, culturales y sociales a los Estados. Ha traído consigo de forma lenta los paradigmas que caracterizaban a la sociedad industrial, y han ido cambiando al ritmo que ha marcado las continuas irrupciones en la innovación, apoyadas en la tecnología computacional y en la telemática en la 4ta Revolución Industrial. Surgen nuevos productos, nuevos servicios públicos, nuevos modelos de negocios, nuevas necesidades, nuevos retos que en definitiva cuestionan el formato y las claves competitivas de la industria del futuro, en continua construcción y evolución en un mundo global en el siglo XXI, donde “lo verde vende”.

The author emphasized that the transformational processes taking place in modern Ukrainian society have covered all spheres of human life, penetrating into his consciousness, everyday life, beliefs, violating moral principles, ideals, interests, needs and, finally, the whole system of values. The authors believe that although the term "transformation", which in Latin "transformatio" translates as "transformation", "reconstruction", "reform", means a fairly calm and peaceful process, in fact it is, as we all see today, quite sober, contradictory, sometimes with serious consequences both for a particular person and for society as a whole. The twentieth century was extremely rich in transformations in all spheres of society and in all fields. This was the period of the peak of the industrial society and the birth of a new, post-industrial one.The profound transformation of society is a symbol, a sense of the modern era. In modern literature, this term is used to indicate changes in society over the past two hundred years, bearing in mind transition from traditional society to industrial. The term "transformation" is not just a synonym for the terms "development", "change", "transformation", "modernization" and others, but an independent sociological category of the theory of social development. This category describes the special state of society, which undergoes qualitative changes of social ties forms, types and ways of development. Transformation includes components of modernization, post modernization, traditional retreat. Such a combination of seemingly incompatible processes without the category of "transformation of society" would look eclectic, mechanistic, if the transformation would be considered independently of globalization. In the post-industrial revolution world, social change is often studied and understood in the context of change in means of production, mobility, urbanization and change in the constitution of workforce. Role of ethical values is generally confined to personal conduct and manners. Industrial society is supposed to have its own work ethics which may or may not agree with personal ethics and morality. Ethics and morality are generally considered, in the Western thought, as a social construct. Therefore, with the change in means of production or political system, values and morality are also expected to be re-adjusted in order to cope with the changed environment. Sometimes a totally new set of values emerges as a consequence of the change in economic, political, or legal set up. The present research tries to understand the meaning and place of these values in a global socio-cultural framework. Relying essentially on the divine principles of the Qur'ān it makes an effort to understand relevance of these universal and ultimate principles with human conduct and behavior in society. It indicates that essentially it is the core values, principles, or norms which guide human beings in their interpersonal, social, economic and political matters. Islam being a major civilizing force, culture, and the way of life, provides values which guide both in individual and social matters. The values given by the Qur’ān and the Sunnah are not monopoly of the Muslim. These values are universal and are relevant in a technological society.

The employees of PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta as an industrial society have distinctive characteristic. The characteristics affect behavior and religious activities. This study aims to identify and reveal: (1) the Religious Behavior of PT Indorama Syntehtics Tbk Employees; (2) Da'wah Activities of PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk. Based on the results of the study found the following: (1) The religious behavior of industrial communities still tends to be normative and formalistic; (2) Da'wah activities in industrial communities are still temporal, momental, and ceremonial. There are two recommendations from the results of this study, namely: (1) There is a need to internalize religious values towards the industrial community; (2) There is a need for efforts to intensify da'wah for the industrial community.Karyawan PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta sebagai masyarakat industri mempunyai karakteristik yang khas. Karakteristik tersebut berpengaruh terhadap perilaku dan aktivitas keberagamaan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkapkan: (1) Perilaku Keberagamaan Karyawan PT Indorama Syntehtics Tbk; (2) Aktivitas Dakwah Karyawan PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk. Berdasarkan hasil studi ditemukan beberapa hal berikut: (1) Perilaku keberagamaan masyarakat industri masih cenderung normatif dan formalistis; (2) Aktivitas dakwah masyarakat industri masih bersifat temporal, momental, dan seremonial. Ada dua rekomendasi dari hasil studi ini, yaitu: (1) Perlu adanya upaya internalisasi nilai-nilai agama terhadap masyarakat industri; (2) Perlu adanya upaya intensifikasi dakwah bagi masyarakat industri.

The main aim of this study is to examine the relationship between urbanization and religious life. In sociological sense, urbanization emerges as a synchronous phenomenon with industrial revolution. Urbanization, one of the dynamics that characterizes modern industrial society, exposes traditional society structure, culture, social organization, permanent values and norms to radical change processes. Religion is a sociological institution whose existence has been accepted since the beginning of history and has a social control function in the social life. The existence and orientation of the relationship between urbanization and religious life create the theme of this research. Religious life in the urbanization process was reviewed in Istanbul at Basaksehir district with taking into account the theoretical, practical and social dimensions which are the expression of religious experience with the socio-cultural and socio-economical variables. Direct observation method and survey technique were used in the research. The surveys were coded by entering in SSPS 22 program. According to the result, the conservative and religious masses who lived in different districts of Istanbul and included in the middle and upper classes in the 1990s, abandoned their places; it was seen that they were settled in Basaksehir, a satellite city with calm, clean and green areas, which also allowed for self-exclusion. This situation in Basaksehir has been evaluated as affecting the possible results between urbanization and religious life variables and some results appeared in this framework.
