The integration of renewable energy sources into isolated microgrids introduces significant power fluctuations due to their intermittent nature. This study addresses the need for advanced power smoothing methods to enhance the stability of isolated networks. An innovative adaptive strategy is presented, combining photovoltaic solar generation with vehicle-to-grid technology, utilizing an enhanced adaptive moving average filter with fuzzy logic control. The primary objective is to dynamically optimize the time frame of the Li-ion battery energy storage system for immediate power stabilization, leveraging the high energy density and rapid response capabilities inherent in electric vehicle batteries. The methodology encompasses data acquisition from photovoltaic panels, definition of fuzzy logic control rules, and implementation of the proposed method within a computer-controlled system connected to a bidirectional three-phase inverter. This paper explores the relationship between adherence to corporate social responsibility goals and firm financial risk. Data on an international sample of 209 firms were collected for the period 2002 to 2022. Firm risk was proxied using stock return volatility and probability of default. The results show that the environmental performance of hospitality and tourism firms unequivocally influences firm risk, whether this risk is quantified as probability of default or volatility of stock market returns. This finding confirms that the adoption of environmentally sustainable and responsible practices is crucial not only for the environment but also for the stability of hospitality and tourism firms. One of the most complex and motivating issues in power system is optimal power flow (OPF), which is a constrained optimization problem characterized by non-linearity and non-convexity. From these specifications, researchers competed in the past decades to find optimal solutions to OPF problem while keeping system stability. This paper presents an efficient optimization approach to deal with OPF problem in the hybrid renewable energy systems involving wind turbines, solar photovoltaic and small hydropower plant using optimization method depends on weighted mean of vectors INFO. Total generation cost, active power losses, and combined cost and emission are the principle goal, taking into account both reserve and penalty cost appropriate to over and under estimation respectively in the generation cost model. To evaluate the performance of INFO in solving OPF problem, modified IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 57-bus test systems will be utilized. The obtained results are compared with several algorithms such as Gorilla troop optimizer GTO, artificial ecosystem-based optimization AEO, Barnacles Mating Optimizer BMO for the same test systems keeping the same conditions. Simulation results have indicated the superiority of INFO while respecting all constraints. INFO can minimize total generation cost to 788.9417 $/h for IEEE 30-bus and 5259.2040 $/h for IEEE 57-bus. The results demonstrate clearly that the INFO is a highly efficient algorithm that is an encouraging tool for solving OPF problem. The promising findings highlight the potential of the INFO algorithm to smoothest the integration of RES, and its role in promoting sustainable energy solutions. Furthermore, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test, a statistical approach, was employed to evaluate the superiority of the proposed algorithm and to highlight a certain level of confidence to our study. This research focuses on the development and simulation analysis of heat-dissipating fins made of copper, integrated into photovoltaic panels, with the aim of mitigating temperature increases during operation. This initiative arises from evidence that solar panels experience a reduction in energy efficiency when operating at temperatures higher than standard test conditions. The photovoltaic panel was simulated both without fins and with fins under standard test conditions and extreme conditions. The simulation consists of the following steps: design, meshing, selection of physical models and materials, assignment of boundary conditions, validation of the simulation, and interpretation of the results. During validation, results obtained via simulation were compared experimentally, yielding a mean absolute percentage error of 0.28%. It was concluded that the fins with the greatest heat dissipation relative to their area are those of 40 mm height; with this height, the temperature of the photovoltaic panel is reduced by 2.64 K, which represents an efficiency increase of 1.32%. This paper proposes a generalisation of the regional extraction method used by Dietzenbacher at el. [(1993). The regional extraction method: EC input–output comparisons. Economic System Research, 5(2), 185–206. ]. The production system represented by an input–output table is broken down into three flow matrices: intermediate input, final demand, and value added. The approach of Dietzenbacher et al. (1993) focuses on the input matrix to obtain both the backward and forward dependencies. The present paper, offers an alternative approach includes the final demand matrix to calculate the backward dependencies, while the value-added matrix is included for the forward dependencies. These two approaches are then compared by applying them to the empirical data based on the EUREGIO database. The results indicate that the Dietzenbacher et al. approach underestimates the dependencies, and the difference between these two approaches could lead to a different ranking of the dependence of the regions.
