From the perspective of social e-commerce, this paper discusses the influencing factors and mechanism of purchase intention of agricultural products. Based on the stimulus–organism–response model, this paper constructs the relationship model of agricultural product characteristics, social trust, social stickiness, social support, social interaction, consumer perceived value and consumer purchase intention; the related hypotheses are found, and the hypothesis and the structural model are verified by analysing the data. The results show that the characteristics of agricultural products, social stickiness, social support, social interaction and consumer perceived value are the key factors that influence the purchase intention of agricultural products. Perceived value is the intermediary mechanism of social stickiness, social support, social interaction and purchase intention.

Manufacturing is an important engine of China's economy, driving urban economic growth and spatial transformation. Therefore, the spatial evolution of manufacturing is a research hotspot for academics. This study takes the Changsha metropolitan area as an example, based on the micro-data on manufacturing enterprises from 1978 to 2020. Using the standard deviational ellipse, kernel density analysis method, and explored negative binomial regression model, the spatial evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the manufacturing industry in the Changsha metropolitan area from the point-and-surface perspective are explored. The main conclusions are as follows. From 1978 to 2020, the number of manufacturing enterprises in the Changsha metropolitan area show an overall increasing trend, with labor-intensive and capital-intensive manufacturing gradually upgrading to a technology-intensive form. In terms of spatial distribution, all manufacturing industries show an apparent movement of suburbanization in spatial distribution. Development zones are progressively becoming the primary spatial carrier for manufacturing reorganization and concentration. The manufacturing industry mainly expands along the "northwest-southeast" direction, showing a "point-axis" development pattern. In the process of spatial evolution, the Changsha manufacturing space has experienced a cyclical change from agglomeration to dispersion and then to accumulation. The evolution pattern has changed from mosaic filling to outward diffusion. Influenced by the characteristics of the industry, different types of manufacturing industries show apparent differences in spatial distribution. Labor-intensive enterprises are mostly micro-enterprises with flexible site layout, mainly contact diffusion and hierarchical diffusion, and the spatial characteristics of "central concentration and decentralized layout." The large-scale demand for land and employees in capital-intensive manufacturing industries-mainly large enterprises-restricts their concentration in urban centers. Meanwhile, preferential policies, such as "policy rent" in the development parks in peripheral suburbs, attract enterprises to move in, prompting capital-intensive manufacturing industries to show the spatial characteristics of "large-scale diffusion and small-scale concentration." Technology-intensive manufacturing industries are mostly small and medium-sized enterprises, which are attracted by national development zones and have strong vocational orientations. In the spatial evolution process of the manufacturing industry, factors such as socioeconomics, production cost, and governmental behavior have significant influence. Different factors play different roles in different industries. Labor-intensive enterprises are mainly affected by socioeconomics, production costs, and government behavior. Technology-intensive enterprises pay more attention to regional economic benefits, innovation environment, and policy support, while socio-economic factors, production cost, built-up environment, governmental actions, and innovation capacity all have important impacts on them. Capital-intensive enterprises are highlighted by the role of the population base, transportation accessibility, land cost, and industrial park policies. Capital-intensive enterprises are highly dependent on population, production cost, transportation accessibility, and the number of industrial zones. It can be found that the spatial evolution of all three types of manufacturing industries is significantly influenced by governmental actions; among which, the level of fixed asset investment and number of industrial parks reflect the planning guidance and policy orientation of Changsha's municipal government on manufacturing development. In addition, the degree of opening up to the outside world negatively affects the layout of all three types of manufacturing enterprises, indicating that the large influx of foreign capital tends to form industrial monopolies. This study provides a reference for optimizing the layout and high-quality development of urban manufacturing space.

Melanin comes from a wide range of sources. It can be isolated and characterized from some plants, animals and microorganisms, and can also be simply polymerized by dopamine. It has many biological properties such as antioxidant, ultraviolet shielding and bacteriostasis. Based on the above characteristics, the addition of melanin to film-forming materials can improve the relevant physical properties and functional properties of the film. In this article, the structure and properties of melanin were briefly introduced, and then the advantages and related research progress of melanin as a functional filler in the field of composite film were summarized.

AbstractObjectiveMethodsResultsConclusionWith the rising incidence and mortality rates of stroke, understanding the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of patients with hyperlipidemia towards stroke is crucial for improving their health management and preventing stroke. This study aimed to investigate the KAP of patients with hyperlipidemia towards stroke.A cross-sectional study was conducted at the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University between November 2, 2023, and December 31, 2023. Demographic information and KAP scores of the participants were collected via questionnaire administration.In this study, a total of 385 patients diagnosed with hyperlipidemia were included. Among them, 211 (54.8%) were male, and 214 (55.6%) had been dealing with hyperlipidemia for less than one year. Multivariate analyses showed that age greater than or equal to 55 years (OR = 4.016, 95% CI: [2.128,7.579], p < .001) and attitude score greater than or equal to 21 (OR = 5.673, 95% CI: [3.432,9.376], p < .001) were independently associated with proactive practice. Mediation analysis showed that knowledge directly affected the attitude (β = 0.637, p = .010) and attitude directly affected the practice (β = 0.721, p = .010). Meanwhile, the direct effect of knowledge on practice was not significant (β = −0.059, p = .438), however, knowledge was found to indirectly affected practice through attitude (β = 0.459, p = .010).Our study reveals that patients with hyperlipidemia exhibit a concerning gap in their understanding of stroke, despite holding positive attitudes and displaying suboptimal preventive practices. Hydrogen, a vital resource, is utilized in many process units within the refinery. The purification system is widely used to regenerate and improve hydrogen quality, therefore reducing fresh hydrogen consumption. Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and membrane separation (MS) technologies are widely utilized for the purification of hydrogen, and the process can be optimized by constructing mathematical models. Thus, at first, a parametric analysis of the purification models is conducted to identify the key variables of these models during the optimization process, which also reveals the necessity of coupling multiple purification units. Then, a superstructure-based hydrogen network (HN) model comprising multi-stage PSA and MS units is constructed, aiming to determine the optimal hydrogen allocation and purification system. This model considers the simultaneous optimization of purification system parameters, including operating pressure, in conjunction with its structural configuration. This case study demonstrates the applicability of the HN model to diverse refinery scenarios. Additionally, compared to using a single purification unit, using a multi-unit purification system can improve purification efficiency and reduce the total cost by 2% to 22%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The widespread adoption of nonlinear power electronic devices in residential settings has significantly increased the stochasticity and uncertainty of power systems. The original load power data, characterized by numerous irregular, random, and probabilistic components, adversely impacts the predictive performance of deep learning techniques, particularly neural networks. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a time-series probabilistic load power prediction technique based on the mature neural network point prediction technique, i.e., decomposing the load power data into deterministic and stochastic components. The deterministic component is predicted using deep learning neural network technology, the stochastic component is fitted with Gaussian mixture distribution model and the parameters are fitted using great expectation algorithm, after which the stochastic component prediction data is obtained using the stochastic component generation method. Using a mature neural network point prediction technique, the study evaluates six different deep learning methods to forecast residential load power. By comparing the prediction errors of these methods, the optimal model is identified, leading to a substantial improvement in prediction accuracy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Charge trapping and release have a significant impact on the performance of organic phototransistors (OPTs), especially for the balance of response time and photomultiplication. These processes are usually present near the interface with different energy levels or mobilities. In this paper, charge trapping and release properties at the electrode/active layer interface in PDPPBTT:PC61BM based organic phototransistors have been discussed in detail. We compared the effect of interfacial charge trapping at a Ag or Au electrode on the photodetection performance of OPTs in the absence and presence of acceptors. When acceptors were added to form a bulk heterojunction as the active layer, it was fascinating to observe that not only did the BHJ with a smaller energy level difference become the main charge trap sites, but also the charge trap near the electrode was evidentially weakened and easy to release, which is supported by the turn-on voltage drift (ΔVon), contact resistance (R) change and accelerated response time. This originated from acceptor-assisted carrier recombination near the metal electrode. Objective: To investigate changes and clinical significance of senescent cell proportion and senescence-associated cytokines in peripheral blood of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in different states. Methods: AML patients who were diagnosed and treated in the Second Hospital of Anhui Medical University were selected as research subjects (17 cases in newly diagnosed group, 16 cases in remission group, and 12 cases in relapse group), morphology of leukemia blasts and proportion of senescent cells in peripheral blood of patients in each group were observed by Regis and senescence specific β-galactosidase (SA- β-gal) staining, levels of senescence-associated cytokines IL-8, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10 in peripheral blood of each group were detected by cytometric bead array (CBA), and differences and clinical significance among groups were compared. Results: Relapse group peripheral blood smear Regis staining showed that morphology of leukemia blasts increased significantly and proportion of SA-β-gal positive cells was significantly increased (P<0.01); levels of serum senescence-associated cytokines IL-8, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 in relapse group were significantly increased (P<0.05); there was no correlation between serum senescence-associated cytokine levels and proportion of peripheral blood leukemia blasts (P>0.05); relapsed patients with higher IL-8 levels trend to have lower re-induction remission rates and worse overall survival after relapse (P<0.05); multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that IL-8 level was an independent risk factor for prognosis of relapsed patients (P<0.05). Conclusion: Increased proportion of senescent cells and significantly increased levels of senescence-associated cytokines IL-8, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10 in peripheral blood of AML patients are closely related to disease recurrence, and relapsed patients with higher IL-8 level had poor prognosis. This paper investigates how entrepreneurs' social media usage affects corporate philanthropy. Departing from the extant literature, which focuses on the instrumental role of social media, we draw upon the normative perspective of stewardship theory and propose that entrepreneurs' social media usage promotes their ethical and prosocial motivation for corporate philanthropy. In particular, we theorize that entrepreneurs' social media usage enhances their self‐perceived status and philanthropic identification, thus affecting corporate philanthropy. Our analysis of a sample of Chinese ventures provides empirical support for the mediating effects of self‐perceived status and philanthropic identification on the relationship between entrepreneurs' social media usage and the philanthropic propensity and intensity of their ventures. Our study has implications for the role of social media in promoting corporate philanthropy and contributes to the literature on entrepreneurship and corporate philanthropy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
