Hypertension (HTN) remains the most common noncommunicable disease that constitutes the greatest public health problem worldwide, with the management involving pharmacological and nonpharmacological means. Therapeutic exercise is an important first-line intervention for a number of chronic diseases and has been recommended both as a measure for prevention and as an adjunctive nonpharmacological intervention for HTN, however; exercise prescription to hypertensive patients is still low, especially among primary healthcare professionals. This study examined from evidence-based literature the various aspects of therapeutic exercise and HTN to successfully stimulate the integration of exercise for HTN management in clinical settings, especially at the primary healthcare level. The paper reviewed published articles on exercise and HTN on Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect using search terms “exercise” and “hypertension.” Studies identified in this review were summarized to further enrich literature with data and provide an update to exercise prescribers on exercise and HTN. This study revealed and identified three key aspects that need to be strengthened for successful integration of exercise for HTN management in all clinical settings: adequate and routine pre-exercise screening and monitoring; well-informed prescription of therapeutic exercise by qualified exercise professionals; and sufficient knowledge about potential interaction between exercise and antihypertensive medications.

Summary: Caffeine is known to confer neuro-protection via A1 and A2A adenosine receptor antagonism in which adenosine neuro-modulates excitotoxic release of glutamate. Currently, it is unclear whether caffeine modulates inflammation in ischaemic stroke model. The present study examined effects of caffeine following ischaemia-reperfusion injury on neuro-inflammatory tumour necrosis alpha (TNF-α), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), as well as effect of caffeine against brain ischaemic damage on histology. Thirty three adult male Wistar rats (180-300 g) were used in this study. They were randomly divided into four groups (n=5 each): Group I (Control) that received neither the operation nor any treatment; Group II (Sham/Water) received a pseudo-ischaemic-reperfusion and 1ml water for injection; Group III (BCCO/Water) that received complete bilateral common carotid occlusion (BCCO) and 1ml water for injection; Group IV (BCCO/Caffeine) that received complete BCCO and caffeine solution intraperitoneally at a dose of 50% LD50 value (144mg/kg); and thirteen rats were used for LD50 assessment. Sensory and motor functions significantly (p0.05) of caffeine was observed on LDH activity. This study has shown neuro-protective roles of caffeine against ischaemia-reperfusion damage to brain tissue, inflammatory TNF-α activity, but not on LDH activity.Keywords: Caffeine, ischaemia-reperfusion injury, cerebral ischaemia, neuro-inflammation, stroke

We demonstrate that the devised incorporation of an alkylamine group into the second coordination sphere of an FeII complex allows to switch its reactivity with H2O2 from the usual formation of FeIII species towards the selective generation of an FeIV‐oxo intermediate. The FeIV‐oxo was characterized by UV‐visible absorption and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Variable temperature kinetic analyses point towards a mechanism where the heterolytic cleavage of the O‐O bond is triggered by a proton transfer from the proximal to the distal oxygen atom in the FeII‐H2O2 complex with the assistance of the pendant amine. DFT studies reveal that this heterolytic cleavage is actually initiated by an homolytic O–O cleavage immediately followed by a proton‐coupled electron transfer that leads to the formation of the FeIV‐oxo and release of water through a concerted mechanism.

BACKGROUND Sedentary lifestyle has widely increased in people of all ages; in present era due to vast development in science and technology, mostly students prefer indoor activities which negatively influences their health. Sedentary lifestyle is not only a risk factor for non communicable diseases but it also causes several mental and psychological disorders which negatively affect the academic performance of students. PURPOSE To determine the relationship between light physical activity and academic performance in university students STUDY DESIGN AND SAMPLE SIZE Observational study and it consists of 178 participants. METHOD Closed ended Questionnaires were distributed among all participants, then the data was entered in SPSS 16 software and results were analyzed RESULTS Pearson Chi- Square test was applied to determine the co-relation between physical activity and academic performance. Correlation between light physical activity and academic performance showed non-significant results (p =0.39). CONCLUSION Correlation found between both variables was non-significant. However, physical activity has various helpful effects on mood and other fatal diseases. One of the challenging and difficult tasks is to get the students actively engaged inside the classroom and help them to embrace online material off campus. As stated in [17] More times students spend engaged, the more they can enhance their learning skills. For a long time, a good number of teaching tools and techniques have been in practice to address the problem of student engagement [2]. In today's digital technology, students are showing a keen interest in adapting digital devices like mobile phones and laptops[10]. Recent studies shows that the teaching with mobile technologies is increasing because of its positive impact on students' engagement which in turn improves student experiences[1,2]. The research aims at briefing the design and implementation of Flipped teaching using e-tools such as Titan pad and Flubaroo and its impact on the Students Performance at Institutional level in Oman. A 10:2 Methodology proposed by S. Hurst in Reading Horizon [18] has been adapted. The Cohort students were 42 students were involved in this practice from two sessions. Many different activities were conducted in the class to simulate the design such as Group activities, Individual activities, Quizzes etc. Both type of data Qualitative and Quantitative are analysed and it was proved to be successful from the results obtained and hence enhancing students learning experiences and their performance.
