This study examines how implementing ESG (environment, social, and governance) principles at Incheon International Airport affects business performance. ESG practices significantly shape strategic management within the airport industry, particularly at Incheon International Airport in Korea. The primary objective is to explore how the ESG components contribute to airport sustainability and business performance through intermediary factors. Prior analyses in the airline and tourism sectors have extensively studied the impact of CSR and ESG adoption on business performance. With increasing numbers of ongoing research on ESG in airports, this study seeks to investigate the mid-to-long-term influence of ESG on business performance, specifically at Incheon International Airport. A comprehensive survey involving 323 airport users at Incheon International Airport was rigorously analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM). The findings revealed a robust positive correlation between ESG activities and business performance. This implies that ESG initiatives can foster trust, improve public perception, underscore sustainability, and notably impact South Korea's airport industry. Moreover, this research aims to establish fundamental insights by emphasizing the pivotal role of ESG activities in enhancing airports' reputation in Korea and contributing positively to sustainable development. Recently, many researchers studied the degenerate multi-special polynomials as degenerate versions of the multi-special polynomials and obtained some identities and properties of the those polynomials. The aim of this paper was to introduce the degenerate multi-poly-Changhee polynomials arising from multiple logarithms and investigate some interesting identities and properties of these polynomials that determine the relationship between multi-poly-Changhee polynomials, the Stirling numbers of the second kind, degenerate Stirling numbers of the first kind and falling factorial sequences. This study investigates and proposes innovative approaches to achieve frequency selectivity within a limited space. Traditional multiresonant acoustic devices use individual sensing elements of varying sizes to achieve resonance frequency (fr), leading to an inability to sense focused acoustic waves, unlike the human ear. A miniaturized, self‐powered artificial basilar membrane that incorporates multiresonant features is introduced. Multiple fr of the diaphragms are developed using inner boundary conditions (iBCs) defined by an adjustable micropatterned elastomeric support (µ‐support) and a porous nanofiber (NF) mat. This new approach offers the advantage of all‐in‐one fabrication, eliminating the need for device area variation or an additional rigid frame typically required in conventional multiresonant acoustic devices. The efficacy of the iBCs in shifting fr within the vocal frequency ranges is verified via a laser Doppler vibrometer, simulation, and triboelectric output. With its self‐powering capabilities based on triboelectric principles, this artificial basilar membrane holds promise for accurately recognizing musical and vocal signals with specific frequency characteristics. With four different iBCs in a total device area of 23 × 23 mm2, a tunable four‐channel system with fr ranging from 400 to 3000 Hz is achieved. Purpose Data from animal experiments suggest that exposure to general anesthetics in early life inhibits neurogenesis and causes long-term memory deficit. Considering short operating times and the popularity of sevoflurane in pediatric anesthesia, it is important to verify the effects of short-period exposure to sevoflurane on the developing brain. Methods We measured the effects of short-term exposure (2 h) to 3%, 6%, or 8% sevoflurane, the most commonly used anesthetic, on neural precursor cells derived from human embryonic stem cells, SNUhES32. Cell survival, proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation on days 1, 3, 5, and 7 post treatment were analyzed. Results Treatment with 6% sevoflurane increased cell viability (P = 0.046) and decreased apoptosis (P = 0.014) on day 5, but the effect did not persist on day 7. Survival and apoptosis were not affected by 3% and 8% sevoflurane; there was no effect of proliferation at any of the tested concentrations. The differentiation of cells exposed to 6% or 8% sevoflurane decreased on day 1 (P = 0.033 and P = 0.036 for 6% and 8% sevoflurane, respectively) but was again normalized on days 3-7.
