Progress of new digital technologies has led to a new type of consumer, more dynamic and difficult to satisfy, which made the efficiency of the old promotion methods to decrease. Marketers who are looking for new ways to reach their audience found in online video games a reliable ally. Previous studies that have been conducted internationally showed that advertising through online games and delivering promotional messages in the virtual space mediated by Internet technology has a high degree of acceptance from the public. In Romania such studies are lacking, and this gap in the literature led to the need to study the potential that promoting in video game has on consumers from this market . In this paper we present some of the results of a larger quantitative research, which has investigated several aspects that influence consumer attitudes towards video games with advertising content, focusing on the factor with the most strongly impact - interactivity . The study used self-administered online questionnaire method to collect primary data that were further analyzed by descriptive statistical methods and factor analysis. The results revealed that in general the consummers from Romania have a positive attitude towards advertising presented in video games and the interactivity given by the game construction that allows the manipulation of branded objects during a play session has a direct and positive influence on the attitude. The refugee crisis experienced by Europe over recent years has generated widespread concern over migration across various European countries. This concern has also fuelled nationalist sentiments amongst European citizens, who fear that their ways of life stand to be displaced or eroded by others. In particular, concerns surrounding the presence and role of Islam in Europe remain acute. Over recent years, hostilities between marginalised Muslim communities in Europe and others who oppose Muslim practices have continued to spiral. Issues such as the war in Syria, terrorist attacks on European soil, the integration of Muslim communities in Europe, and Turkey’s accession into Europe remain heavily contested and highly debated. The present chapter investigates representations of Islam in six European countries, namely Greece, Italy, Malta, Romania, France and the UK. The study involved the analysis of randomly selected articles published in various newspapers in these six countries over a number of years. The findings demonstrate the trajectory of representations of Islam over time, with issues concerning violence and oppression remaining salient in recent years. The findings further demonstrate a polarisation whereby the plight of refugees is recognised, whilst the wariness of Islam as a threat to European values remains. The chapter concludes by reviewing implications for policy targeting the spiral of conflict between non-Muslim and Muslim communities in European countries., peer-reviewed

- Abstract
This chapter presents the results of an analysis focused on the social representations of LGBT people in six European countries (Romania, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, and UK), belonging to Eastern, Southern and Western Europe and with different degrees of emancipation, both legal and social, towards LGBT people. Synchronic and diachronic automatic text analyses were carried out on newspaper articles published over a period of fifteen years in order to identify the semantic structures organizing the symbolic universes impregnated with the social representations of LGBT. The results reveal similarities but also important as well as differences in the semantic structures identified, but a general trend towards accepting the “other”, portrayed as the LGBT person, can be noticed across countries.

- Abstract
Immigration has been at the centre of social and political debate in Europe for a long time, but its role has become more and more important in the last decade. Immigration has become one of the defining policy issues of contemporary politics in Europe, for example in the case of the British vote on the Brexit referendum or the national Dutch elections. As the refugee crisis is still in progress, it will play a role for the foreseeable future. Understanding the social representations of immigrations and their evolution in the past years provides valuable data to study the relationship with ‘the other’ in European societies. In this chapter, we analyse the public discourse on immigration present in the national press of several European countries before, during, and at the end of the financial crisis (2007-2015). Combining both qualitative interpretation of texts and insights from text mining techniques applied to a large corpus of newspapers articles in Cyprus 1 , Greece, Italy, Malta, Romania and UK, we both discuss some of the national cases and present a comparative frame.

The electromagnetic field interferences (EMI) can influence both human health and functioning of electrical appliances. An EMI map is an important instrument for monitoring the health exposure limits versus the standards. In order to draw an EMI map measurement methodologies and advanced computational models are required. In case of high voltage (HV) and or medium voltage (MV) substations the numerical simulation has several advantages because it does not require investment in measurement devices and operative personnel and can easily analyze complex working scenarios covering both substation yard and its neighborhoods. Examples of numerical simulations are presented on the 3D model of the 110/20 kV substation named Biharia in order to visualize the electromagnetic field and to make comparisons with the professional human exposure limits.

- Abstract
Progressive neurocognitive pathologies frequently alter the architecture of sleep with: advanced sleep phase or phase delay, sleep fragmentation, decrease of slow-wave sleep, REM sleep, nocturnal agitation and wandering or even complete reversal of the nycthemeral rhythm. This has a clear impact on the health and quality of life of the patient. Hospitalization increases the risk of sleep disturbances due to inactivity, some sensory deprivation and daytime hypovigilance. The therapeutic gardens offer in an attractive, sensorially stimulating setting and exposed to natural light, the possibility of an adapted physical exercise. Their impact on the quality and quantity of sleep in cognitive-behavioral units has been evaluated in an exploratory manner. The hypnogram of two groups of 30 patients was compared depending on whether they used the garden (weather permitting, in summer) or not (in winter). The results show that the patients who use the garden are significantly more active during the day, have a longer nighttime sleep duration and are less restless at night. In addition, patients who use and walk longer in the garden benefit from an increase in their sleep time. In view of their multiple interests, therapeutic gardens, if they meet validated design criteria, should be integrated more widely into establishments welcoming people with neurocognitive diseases.

- Abstract
Cognitive-behaviour units are specialised units within follow-up and rehabilitation care services for people suffering from Alzheimer's disease. These units were created in response to measure 17 of the 3rd Alzheimer's Plan. To stabilise behavioural disorders, as part of a non pharmacological care plan, the therapeutic garden is a useful care tool. This article presents an original initiative in Nancy.

- Abstract
The French Alzheimer Plan 2008-2012 anticipates the implementation of new Units specialized in cognitive rehabilitation and psycho-behavioral therapy of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients. Conceived for AD and other dementia patients of all ages, their objectives are to propose a cognitive rehabilitation program, to prevent or treat psycho-behavioral crises, and to provide support and educational therapy to the family and professional caregivers, in order to ease the patient's return to his or her previous way of life. Studies on green spaces and healing gardens in health-care settings have revealed objective and measurable improvements in the patient's well-being. The Plan officially stipulates for the first time the need to make healing gardens an integral part of these Units, but it does not provide specific recommendations or criteria for implementing such gardens. Although green spaces and gardens are available in many French Care Units, they are rarely specifically adapted to the needs of AD patients. In Nancy, the Art, Memory and Life garden, a specific concept guided by a neuropsychological approach, was developed and complemented by an artistic vision based on cultural invariants. The main objective of this article is to describe the various steps of the process that led to the creation of this garden: the collection of experiences and information by a pilot group, surveys of patients, visitors, and caregivers before and after establishment of the garden, and implementation of a multi-professional group project. The specifications, the organizational criteria, the therapeutic project, and the criteria for the conception of such a garden stemming from our clinical experience with the Art, Memory and Life garden in Nancy, are described herein. We also present the first assessment following the implementation of the project.
