Aphasia is an uncommon manifestation of MS, which is somewhat surprising because various disconnection syndromes, such as conduction aphasia, would be expected to occur with some regularity in this white matter disease. We present a case study of an MS patient with conduction aphasia associated with a large white matter lesion underlying the left supramarginal gyrus.NEUROLOGY 1996;47: 576-578
