O que motivou a elaboração deste artigo foi a possibilidade de investigar a contribuição da Educação Popular à reorganização da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa com usuários e profissionais de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família da área urbana de Rio Negro, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de entrevistas, diários de campo, arquivos de fotografias, áudio, vídeo, publicações, relatórios e informações de um blog. A análise dos dados evidenciou evolução no processo de cuidado, humanização das relações entre profissionais e usuários, compreensão do fazer em APS e satisfação profissional, constatando que a Educação Popular é coerente e positiva para a Estratégia Saúde da Família atingir seus pressupostos.

Na Saúde da Família, o Agente Comunitário de Saúde (ACS) é porta-voz do modelo de atenção que se implementa; todavia, como recebe capacitações incipientes, é mister a educação permanente suprir gradativamente lacunas identificadas no seu cotidiano de trabalho. Objetivou-se indicar os passos do processo pedagógico vivenciado com os ACSs no município de Pacoti – CE, Brasil, proposta de modus operandi de uma formação alicerçada no referencial da Educação Popular e Saúde (EPS). Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa-ação, realizada com 24 ACSs. Promoveram-se oito oficinas de construção compartilhada do conhecimento. Desde a escolha dos temas, ao desvelamento de desafios comuns entre os pares e proposições de superação, provocando a desestabilização de conhecimentos previamente consolidados, evidenciou-se quão potente é a EPS para romper com uma lógica hegemônica alienante, instigando os sujeitos a se arriscarem em novas maneiras de produzir saúde.

There is a lack of knowledge about the effective value of the experience gained by medical students who participate in the Family Health Strategy (Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF)) during the early stages of their medical training. This teaching strategy is based on learning by experiencing the problems that exist in real life. This study proposed to understand the value of this teaching strategy from the viewpoint of the students who had participated, after their graduation. The method adopted was a qualitative study conducted through interviews with students who graduated in the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. The data analysis used the hermeneutic dialectic technique as its model. The graduates considered that this experience enabled them to understand the organization and functioning of the health service and the context of the daily life of the users. This experience facilitated the doctor patient relationship, the development of clinical reasoning and the bond with the user. However the students emphasized that a lack of maturity prevented them gaining a higher level of benefit from the experience. Therefore, although the structure of the course is permeated by advances and challenges, it was concluded that this experience contributed to the student's learning of certain essential elements of medical training.

Aim of this study was to identify knowing-doing actions constituted the practice of Family Health (FH), in view of nurses in relation to the person and family care in mental distress in terms of professional knowledge of Le Boterf. Method: Descriptive exploratory qualitative study, to deepen contruction of nurse in FH. The survey was conducted in 3 Units FH. Result: Doing a thematic analysis, came to the following categories: “Knowing how to act and react with relevance”; “Knowing how to combine resources and mobilize them in a professional context”; “Knowing how to interact with multiple knowledges”; “Knowing how to transpose”; “Knowing how to learn and knowing how to learn to learn”; “Knowing how to engage”. Final considerations: the greatest difficulty was "be able to transpose," and that the daily demand of the FH teams requires a lot of this knowledge. Little transposition of knowing-doing in real situations has been verified.

Esta pesquisa aborda percepções de homens sobre suas experiências e necessidades de saúde no pós-nascimento. Objetiva-se distinguir analiticamente, a partir de uma perspectiva de gênero, necessidades de saúde relativas ao evento, experimentadas, expressas e/ou negadas pelos homens. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório-descritivo, qualitativo, realizado em dois territórios de saúde de Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, mediante entrevista semiestruturada e análise temática dos dados. Participaram oito homens que vivenciavam o pós-nascimento de um filho. Estes manifestaram, sobretudo, a necessidade de provimento de segurança financeira à família, destacando também a necessidade de bem estar do filho, acessando o retorno afetivo que a experiência traz. Não se reconheciam com necessidades de saúde no pós-nascimento. O apoio dos serviços locais de saúde é importante para que os homens se percebam na vivência da paternidade e a sua relação com aspectos socioculturais, para que distingam necessidades próprias, valorizem o cuidado de si e adotem uma perspectiva equânime de gênero.

The aim of this study was to describe the characteristics of programs that promote physical activity in the public primary care system by region of Brazil, subject to the presence or absence of multidisciplinary primary care teams (NASF). We conducted a cross sectional and population-based telephone survey of the health unit coordinators from 1,251 health care units. Coordinators were asked about the presence and characteristics of physical activity programs. Four out of ten health units reported having a physical activity intervention program, the most common involving walking groups. Most of the activities were performed in the morning, once or twice a week, and in sessions of 30 minutes or more. Physical education professionals were primarily responsible for directing the activities. Interventions occurred in the health unit itself or in adjacent community spaces. In general, these characteristics were similar between units with or without NASF, but varied substantially across regions. These findings will guide future physical activity policies and programs within primary care in Brazil.

Objectives: determine the prevalence and level of dental anxiety among pregnant women from Joao Pessoa, Brazil, and analyze its relationship to socioeconomic factors. Methods: the sample consisted of 360 pregnant women registered with Family Health Units in the city of Joao Pessoa, Brazil. The study was based on the Dental Anxiety Scale and a structured questionnaire through which socioeconomic factors were surveyed. The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis, with a significance of 5 %. Results: the prevalence of anxiety among pregnant women was 96.4%. Most (41,1 %) showed high anxiety levels (p < 0,001). The mean age of mothers was 23,4 ± 5,9 years. As to marital status, most mothers were married (35 %). Average family income was 610,07, with 92,% below two minimum salaries. A total 89 patients (24,7 %) were in their first quarter, whereas most (47,8 %) were in their second quarter (p > 0,05). Conclusion: most women had high level anxiety. The socioeconomic factors studied did not show any association with the presence of anxiety. The study revealed the importance of dental care during pregnancy and the measures aimed at reducing dental anxiety.

Objective. To understand how individuals with diabetes evaluate the participation of their family in their health care. Methodology. This was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach involving 26 individuals in the Diabetes Association of Maringá. Participating in the study were 9 women and 17 men (age range, 38 to 83 years) who had attended at least one educational meeting of the "culture circles" of the association. We used the methodological reference of Paulo Freire for implementing an educational proposal directed at persons with type 2 diabetes mellitus that overcame the limitations of conventional health education approaches. Data were collected between May and July 2011. Testimonials given in meetings were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed according to thematic structures. Results. Three thematic structures appeared: 1) Recognizing the importance of family in the care of patients with diabetes, 2) blaming the family for non-adherence to healthy practices, and 3) perceiving a secondary gain of the disease: feeling cared for by family members. Conclusion. Patients with diabetes perceive family as a source of support and stimulus for adherence and healthy practice, which enable them to control the disease. Family participation in a patient's care plan should be encouraged.

OBJECTIVE: to evaluate the participation of adolescents in the Family Health Strategy, from the theoretical-methodological structure of an enabler to participation.METHOD: a quantitative study, conducted from December of 2010 to March of 2011, with 213 professionals in the FHS in the region of Cariri-Ceará-Brazil. Data were collected through a questionnaire and organized in SPSS 18.0.RESULTS: the level of normative participation becomes manifest beginning with the adolescent search for health services, motivated by disease (77.9%). Normative participation + independence appear when they seek prenatal care and family planning. Emancipatory participation was identified by the frequency of adolescents in group activities, in the schools, and a move in the direction of the level of transformative participation was observed.CONCLUSION: in this context, it is understood that there exists a need to stimulate the participatory process of the adolescents for a change in health promotion in this group.

Objective. Identifying the knowledge about breastfeeding of the nurses of the Family Health Program, and possible associations between the knowledge and personal, professional and self evaluation aspects. Methodology. Observational and cross-sectional study conducted in family health units of a city in Minas Gerais, Brazil, with 85 nursing professionals. Data were collected through a questionnaire. We used the Student t-test for differences between means and Pearson correlation analysis. Results. The mean score of the professionals on the knowledge test was 6.6 and was higher in the group that attended courses on breastfeeding. Conclusion. There is a need for continuing education, providing reflective and critical mobilization, the questioning of reality and identification of users needs.

This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze the adherence to drug and non-drug treatments in 17 Family Health Strategy units. A total of 423 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected through stratified random sampling in Family Health Strategy units of a city in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2010. The results showed that the prevalence rate of adherence to drug therapy was higher than 60% in the 17 units investigated; in relation to physical activity, adherence was higher than 60% in 58.8% units; and for the diet plan, there was no adherence in 52.9% units. Therefore, we concluded that adherence to drug therapy in most units was high and the practice of physical activity was heterogeneous, and in relation to diet adherence, it was low in all units. We recommend strengthening of institutional guidelines and educational strategies, in line with SUS guidelines, so that, professionals may face the challenges imposed by the lack of adherence.

O objetivo desta pesquisa qualitativa foi identificar motivos de satisfação e insatisfação dos profissionais de saúde em dois modelos assistenciais, na Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF) e na Atenção Básica Tradicional (ABT). Métodos: Amostra intencional com 22 profissionais de saúde do sul do Brasil e dados coletados por meio de entrevistas e grupo focal. Resultados: Principais motivos de satisfação: nos dois modelos - afinidade com a profissão/gostar do que faz, satisfação dos usuários com a assistência recebida, trabalho em equipe; na ESF - vínculo entre profissionais e usuários. Principais motivos de insatisfação: nos dois modelos - problemas nas relações com usuários/famílias; na ABT- salário insuficiente e dificuldades no trabalho em equipe; na ESF- déficit nos instrumentos e ambiente de trabalho, carga horária excessiva e falta de compreensão sobre o modelo. Conclusão: A dimensão subjetiva influencia a satisfação laboral, mas condições concretas para a realização do trabalho são fortemente significativas.

OBJETIVO : Avaliar o desempenho do agente comunitário de saúde após incorporação do controle da dengue nas suas atribuições. MÉTODOS : Comparou-se a evolução de indicadores selecionados da Estratégia Saúde da Família e do Programa Nacional de Controle da Dengue do município São Gabriel do Oeste com o de Rio Verde de Mato Grosso, município vizinho com características populacionais, socioeconômicas e estrutura de serviços de saúde semelhantes de 2002 a 2008. Os dados foram coletados dos bancos de dados municipais do Sistema de Informação da Febre Amarela e Dengue e do Sistema de Informação da Atenção Básica da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde de Mato Grosso do Sul. As variáveis selecionadas para as atividades dos agentes na Estratégia Saúde da Família foram: visitas domiciliares mensais, gestantes com o pré-natal iniciado no primeiro trimestre, crianças menores de um ano com vacinas em dia e hipertensos. Para o Programa Nacional de Controle da Dengue foram: imóveis inspecionados com Aedes aegypti e imóveis existentes não inspecionados. RESULTADOS : Os dois municípios mantiveram evolução semelhante nos indicadores do controle da dengue no período. São Gabriel do Oeste apresentava melhor situação em relação à Estratégia Saúde da Família em 2002 em três dos quatro indicadores estudados. No entanto, esta situação se inverteu no final do período, quando o município foi superado por Rio Verde de Mato Grosso em três dos quatro indicadores analisados, entre os quais a média mensal de visitas de agente comunitário de saúde por família cadastrada, principal atividade de um agente da Estratégia Saúde da Família. CONCLUSÕES : A incorporação do Programa Nacional de Controle da Dengue na Estratégia Saúde da Família é viável e se desenvolveu sem prejuízo das atividades do controle da dengue, excetuando as atividades da saúde da família em São Gabriel do Oeste. A carga adicional de trabalho dos agentes comunitários de saúde pode ser a hipótese mais provável do declínio do desempenho desses agentes nas atividades da Estratégia Saúde da Família.

Objective: to identify nurses' social representations about the relationship among prostitution, health and the Family Health Strategy. Method: qualitative study supported by the Theory of Social Representations, carried out with 12 nurses from the Family Health Strategy. Data collection used the Free Words Association technique and structured interviews. The data were organized using an association of the lexical content and the Collective Subject Discourse, presented in a figure and tables, analyzed in a descriptive and interpretative way. Results: the social representations of the nurses influence the actions and behaviors offered insofar as they are restricted to the sexual and reproductive sphere, to the detriment of the contextual aspects of everyday life, work and health. Conclusion: nurses' social representations link sexual practices to the risk of catching sexually transmitted infections and lacks the articulation of health promotion and the principle of integrality. OBJECTIVE: to construct a theoretical matrix based on the meanings of the interactions and actions experienced by the professionals regarding the nursing care practices and the health of women in situations of conjugal violence in the ambit of the Family Health Strategy. METHODS: research based in Grounded Theory. Following approval by the Research Ethics Committee, 52 professionals were interviewed in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The analysis was based on open, axial and selective codifications. RESULTS: the theoretical model was delimited based on the phenomenon "Recognizing conjugal violence as a public health problem, and the need for management of the care for the woman", which reflects the experience of the professionals in relation to care for the woman, as well as the meanings attributed to this care. CONCLUSIONS: the phenomenon allows one to understand the movement of action and interaction regarding the care for the woman in a situation of conjugal violence.

Estudo qualitativo realizado entr e abril e junho de 2010, em uma unidade de saúde docente-assistencial que funciona na Estratégia de Saúde da Família em Salvador-Ba e objetivou analisar a percepção dos usuários sobre o acolhimento. Fizeram parte do estudo 12 sujeitos de ambos os sexos. A análise dos depoimentos foi realizada a partir de análise categorial temática, emergindo quatro categorias: Acolhimento na compreensão do usuário; Relação entre equipe de saúde e acolhimento; Acolhimento como elemento de responsabilização, corresponsabilização e resolutividade; Entraves do acolhimento. Concluise que esta é uma proposta em constante aprimoramento, mas, ainda nota-se um esforço para a sua concretização nas práticas de saúde, pois, o acolhimento esbarra na intersubjetividade dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo.

Introduction: As described in the National Comprehensive Care of Human Health Policy (PNAISH) in Brazil, there is the difficulty in men to recognizing their needs, cultivating a magical thinking that rejects the possibility of becoming ill. The man's health policy exists, but it is also little discussed. The rationale of this study is because in Brazil, although the life expectancy of men has increased, according to IBGE data, from 59.7 to 69.7 years between 1980 and 2010, since 1991 it has remained 7.6 years below the woman average. Objectives: To indicate the difficulties of perception of nurses of primary health of men and discuss how such difficulties can interfere with your practice. Method: This is a bibliographic, qualitative, descriptive and Exploratory research study. Results: From the discussion of potential publications, two categories emerged: the action of nurses in the Family Health Strategy (ESF) and the difficulties of nurses at work in men's health. The study discusses strategies within what PNAISH expects. Objective: to know the perception of women about the consumption of alcohol in the family environment. Method: the present article reports the results of a qualitative research of phenomenological foundation, directed to the study of the perception of women whose husbands or relatives use alcohol in the family environment. In all, indepth interviews were conducted with six women from Huaman Trujillo Peru village. Results: the results were grouped into three categories: consumption characteristics, psychosocial, moral and ethical aspects; adversity and confrontation. Overall, respondents were aware of alcohol use and how they deal with adjusting to the situation without creating interpersonal conflicts. Conclusion: due to social, family and cultural aspects, women do not directly report any discomfort with alcohol use, which leads them to ask about the autonomy they have to talk about themselves and their feelings about these habits. Objective: estimate association between family health, sociodemographic characteristics and special conditions in patients attended at clinic Cartagena (Colombia). Materials and methods: a Cross-sectional analytic study was conducted in 150 patients of the Special Adult Clinic, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Cartagena, 2011-2015. A questionnaire was designed and applied to investigate sociodemographic variables (age, sex, schooling), prevalence of special conditions and family health (type of family, presence of extra familiar resources [eco-map] and family functionality [family APGAR]). Descriptive statistics (frequencies and percentages), estimation of associations through OR and multinomial logistic regression with 95% confidence intervals mediated regression analyses were performed. Results: the multivariate model that best explain the family health in persons with special conditions are: 1) Living in non-nuclear families: death of a child of 5 years or less in the last year (OR=10,97, IC 95%= 3,34-36,01), consumption of alcohol /drugs (OR= 7,95; IC 95%= 2,54-24,87), unresolved medical treatments and surgeries (OR= 3,31; IC 95%= 1,01-10,89), 2) Families without extrafamiliar resources: to be more than 60 years old (OR= 0,20; IC 95 %:0,090-0,45), unemployed Family Head (OR= 7,81; IC 95%= 2,87-21,24) and public health services (OR: 0,18; IC 95 %: 0,06-0,52) and 3) Family dysfunction: hospitalization in the last year (OR= 6,28; IC 95%= 1,76-22,38). Conclusions: living in non-nuclear families, without extrafamiliar resources and family dysfunction in persons with special conditions can compromise the prognosis and management of their diseases. Despite technological advances, many diseases are not amenable to curative therapy, becoming chronic and progressives, having death as his hopeless outcome. It is estimated that about 20 million people still die in the world without access and attention which could minimize his suffering and symptoms of the disease, chronic in the majority of the cases. Palliative Care (PC) is a growing area; however, the actual number of professionals trained to deal with the patient without expectation of curative therapy is insufficient. Through a narrative bibliographical review of the conceptual pillars of the Family Health Strategy, Primary Health Care and the principles of PC, this article aims to identify the points that make the intersection between the CP and the Family and Community Medicine (MFC), as they use similar attributes, which enable them to monitor patients whose specific symptoms of chronic diseases or those related to the end of life demand a need for differentiated training. This training allows for better management of patients and their families on issues related to the terminal illness, pain control and other symptoms involving care in many spheres (physical, social, cultural, psychological and spiritual) in an integrated and coordinated manner with the other health services. The Health Family Strategy has greater support capacity in terms of scope and continued monitoring of this population is what makes it a potential actor to ensure this health care. In 2002 three disciplines were created by the Integral Medicine Service, a result of curriculum changes promoted by the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM), State University of Rio de Janeiro, driven by the National Curricular Guidelines (NCG) 2001. The purpose of this paper is to present an experience report of thirteen years of implementation of the disciplines, which focus is the family approach in the Family Practice. The processes for the inclusion of the subject in the curriculum were relatively fast, but the fact that there had not been a broad curriculum reform at the time made it impossible to include this subject in other disciplines in the FCM. There were many challenges over the years to improve the teaching and learning of family approach in medical schools, whose importance is confirmed by the emphasis that the subject receives in the new NCG 2014. It is necessary that the family approach is perceived as a value and a practice to be incorporated over the six years of graduation. For this, we should take advantage of the curriculum reform of FCM currently underway and encourage teachers and students on the subject. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A criação do Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF) representou um importante avanço para o sistema de saúde brasileiro, bem como uma importante oportunidade de inserção profissional da Educação Física. O objetivo do estudo foi verificar o perfil dos usuários de programas de atividade física oferecidos pelo NASF de Londrina (PR). Realizou-se entrevista com todos os participantes de programas de atividade física oferecidos em 5 Unidades Básicas de Saúde (n=167). Em geral, a participação ficou restrita às mulheres, pessoas com mais de 50 anos, que já apresentam algum tipo de doença e que moram próximas aos locais onde eram realizados os programas. Faz-se necessária a criação de estratégias mais abrangentes para aumentar a chance de a população se tornar fisicamente ativa.

A inserção do profissional de Educação Física no Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família evidenciou a fragilidade de sua formação para a atenção primária. Objetivou-se analisar sua formação para a inserção neste campo, em Minas Gerais. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória, do tipo estudo de caso. Os dados foram obtidos utilizando-se grupos focais. Os resultados apontaram essa inserção como positiva para a profissão e para os serviços de saúde, porém indicaram algumas dificuldades, dentre elas, a graduação foi mencionada como insuficiente para atuar na atenção primária. A pós-graduação foi identificada como uma das estratégias para minimizar essa insuficiência.

A atenção primária em saúde (APS) pouco tem se valido dos sistemas de informação para avaliar a situação de saúde da população devido à dificuldade de compreensão dos relatórios. É usual a definição genérica das ações a partir de constatações empíricas. O objetivo desse trabalho é avaliar se a introdução de indicadores georreferenciados pode ser uma tecnologia para melhorar a identificação da situação de saúde das pessoas, o que ajudaria no planejamento das ações das equipes. Para tanto, foi aplicado um questionário nos profissionais de oito equipes em três momentos: o primeiro, antes da leitura dos relatórios do sistema de informação, o segundo após a leitura e o terceiro usando os georreferenciados. Os resultados mostraram diferença significativa na classificação da situação de saúde quando da utilização do georreferenciamento comparado aos momentos anteriores (p < 0,05). O georreferenciamento facilitou a análise da situação de saúde, propiciando melhor monitoramento dos processos de trabalho. Por fim, a utilização aponta para uma racionalização das ações e possível qualificação da atenção à saúde. Sugere-se o uso do georreferenciamento na agenda de trabalho para que se tornem uma ferramenta efetiva e norteadora das ações.

O estudo busca desvendar o processo de trabalho do agente comunitário de saúde (ACS) com base na teoria das afecções de Espinosa. Considera o encontro como uma unidade de análise, e pretende compreendê-lo na sua dinâmica de produção do cuidado, analisando as afecções que se expressam por alegrias e tristezas e os seus efeitos no trabalho do ACS. Trata-se de estudo exploratório-descritivo, de caráter qualitativo, realizado na Unidade Jardim Catarina, São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Os dados foram coletados em entrevista com dez ACS's, por meio de roteiro semiestruturado e observação etnográfica. O estudo revela um ACS múltiplo, exposto às afecções das relações que mantém, variando entre o reconhecimento e a submissão às lógicas instituídas, resultando em alegria e tristeza, aumento e redução da sua potência de agir, respectivamente.

This study’s objective was to verify potential relationships among personal well-being, parental practices, and interactions between parents and preschool children reported by working fathers and mothers ( n = 120, 60 couples) from a city in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Data were collected using the Questionnaire on family and professional lives. Three scales were selected for data analysis: well-being; interaction between parents and children; and family life. Statistical tests (One-Way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient) showed negative correlations between child-rearing practices and health problems reported by parents. Positive correlations were also found between reported parental interactions and child-rearing practices. Parental practices and interactions between parents and children varied according to the number of children (one or two).

OBJECTIVE: to identify and classify the degree of family risk in a Family Health Center by means of a multidimensional evaluation instrument. METHOD: a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative and descriptive design, which evaluated 927 families registered in the center, which covers five micro-areas. The Coelho and Savassi Scale was applied, this consisting of 13 sentinels of evaluation of the social risk, using secondary data available in the File A of the families' medical records, in the last trimester of 2011. The data was analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) for Windows software, version 18.0. RESULTS: among the families studied, 68.5% were classified as not being at risk. It was ascertained that the smallest proportion of at-risk families (8.2%) was found in micro-area 1, and that micro-area 4 had the highest proportion (55.9%). The most-prevalent risk situations were poor conditions of basic sanitation, systemic arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus and drug addiction. CONCLUSION: this study's results make it possible to create support for the planning of home visits, to implement health surveillance actions, and for health professionals to better understand the vulnerabilities of the families attended.

Tal estudo buscou compreender como vem sendo realizado o cuidado ao idoso em Unidade de Saúde da Família segundo a visão dos profissionais de saúde. MÉTODOS: Estudo qualitativo, com a análise fenomenológica social de Alfred Schutz. RESULTADOS: Foram entrevistados sete profissionais de nível superior por meio de questão norteadora. A análise possibilitou evidenciar: cuidados pautados em programas de saúde, com prejuízo da integralidade do cuidado e da clínica ampliada, e visão das necessidades e perspectivas do cuidado integral. CONCLUSÃO: O estudo revela a necessidade de avançarmos no cuidado ao idoso. Os profissionais reconhecem o envelhecimento da população e apontam a necessidade de capacitação para o cuidado. A educação dos trabalhadores se dá como ponto de partida para a mudança. Também é preciso que os gestores e o Estado organizem uma rede de cuidado que inclua a pessoa idosa, com ofertas de serviços de acordo com a demanda apresentada.

Pesquisa convergente assistencial, que objetivou investigar os refl exos da hospitalização da criança na vida do familiar acompanhante. Foi realizada em um hospital localizado em Goiânia-GO, em que acompanhantes de crianças hospitalizadas participaram de um grupo de apoio. A coleta de dados ocorreu de fevereiro a julho de 2010, por meio de gravação e transcrição das sessões grupais; para analisar os fatos e fenômenos vividos no grupo, foi usada a análise temática. Os resultados encontrados fornecem aos profissionais de saúde subsídios que permitem compreender o quão é complexa a experiência de "ter" e "conviver" com criança da família em situação de doença e hospitalização. Concluímos que essa experiência compromete o relacionamento familiar, a saúde física e mental, e a manutenção da rede social do acompanhante.

Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender as contribuições do enfermeiro na rede de relações e interações dos agentes comunitários de um município localizado ao sul do país. Utilizou-se a Teoria Fundamentada nos Dados como referencial metodológico. Foram entrevistados vinte sujeitos, dentre profissionais de saúde e usuários do centro de saúde, distribuídos em três grupos amostrais. O profissional enfermeiro é reconhecido como um elemento importante na rede de relações e interações do ACS com a comunidade, sendo visualizado como liderança. Embora apresente sinais de uma liderança autoritária, promove a interlocução e age como um facilitador do trabalho em equipe na promoção da saúde. Conclui-se que os enfermeiros da Estratégia Saúde da Família fornecem suporte clínico, na organização do cuidado, e gerencial, ao fomentar boas relações, direcionar as atividades e conduzir o fluxo de informações.

OBJECTIVE: to present the healthcare routines of families in transition after natural disasters based on the Family Routines and Rituals theoretical framework. METHOD: this qualitative study of multiple cases was developed based on six rural families in southern Brazil, 2 years after a natural disaster. The data were collected through participant observation, interviews, narratives, genograms, ecomaps, and routine calendars, and a narrative analysis was conducted. RESULTS: families showed notable episodes of illness that required professional assistance during post-disaster care, daily routine care, and other routines associated with healthcare services. CONCLUSION: these results reinforce the need for nurses to attend to family experiences during transitions after natural disasters and to prepare for the changes and needs with regard to healthcare and its promotion.

OBJECTIVE: to verify the forms of communication used in four Primary Health Units with Family Health Program teams in Porto Feliz, São Paulo, and how they impact in the care and control of the health of elderly people. METHOD: this qualitative study sought to capture the communication between elderly people and healthcare professionals. Interviews were conducted with 20 elderly people of both sexes. RESULTS: from the discourses and observations, assertive communication and blocked communication emerged as the central analysis themes, the verbal and nonverbal elements of which, unveiled subjectivity of the communication process, of the local culture and of the psychosocial factors positively and negatively contributing to the healthcare for elderly people. The nursing teams of the Family Health Strategy showed forms of communication that favored the adherence of the elderly people to the care and control of their health. Negatives aspects did not have completely prejudicial consequences, however, should be avoided, in order to facilitate integral care to elderly people. CONCLUSION: it is worth reinforcing the need for improvement of the nursing team and other healthcare professionals regarding health communication as an innovative technology, bringing credibility to the health promotion and prevention programs with elderly users.
