Abstract Green nanomaterials are increasingly used to improve plant growth and phytochemical traits. This study employed Eucalyptus globulus leaf extract, a medicinal plant, as a bio-reductant and capping agent to synthesize copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO-NPs), which were applied as seed primers for Lactuca sativa (lettuce), an annual species prized for its short germination time and rich bioactive compounds. Characterization of CuO-NPs using FTIR, XRD, SEM, and EDX confirmed their purity, crystalline structure, and an average particle size of 74.66 nm. The CuO-NPs were applied at concentrations of 0.01 mg/ml, 0.02 mg/ml, 0.03 mg/ml, and 0.04 mg/ml. At the highest concentration (0.04 mg/ml), significant reductions in physical growth parameters were observed, with plant length, height, and width measuring 7.85 cm, 5.50 cm, and 3.48 cm, respectively, compared to 13.70 cm, 11.52 cm, and 11.18 cm in control plants. Phytochemical analysis identified tannins, alkaloids, phytosterols, saponins, flavonoids, and glycosides in all methanolic extracts, while carotenoids were absent at higher concentrations (0.03 mg/ml and 0.04 mg/ml) due to phytotoxicity. FTIR analysis revealed a prominent peak at 858 cm⁻¹ at 0.01 mg/ml, indicating the presence of antioxidant-rich aromatic phenyl compounds. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that CuO-NPs synthesized using Eucalyptus globulus extract enhance phytochemical constituents at optimal concentrations but inhibit growth and reduce key phytochemicals at higher doses. Future research should optimize nanoparticle concentrations to minimize phytotoxicity while maximizing beneficial effects on plant growth and bioactive compounds.

Abstract Changing climate patterns are a major contributing factor in the failure of government initiatives and sustainable crop production, particularly for subsistence smallholder farming systems in Botswana. These challenges faced by small-scale farmers require more than just programs and policy implementation; continuous assessment is essential to achieve their mandate. Moreover, there is limited research in Botswana to provide an understanding of issues related to policy implementation and the progression of crop production after the implementation of these policies. Therefore, this systematic review aims to evaluate government-implemented programs and policies for promoting sustainable crop production in Botswana, examining their successes, failures and providing recommendations for sustainable crop production. PRISMA guidelines were followed for systematic review via the Google Scholar database, and inclusion and exclusion criteria were observed for the eligibility of the assessed articles. The major findings indicate that several programs and national policies for sustainable crop production have been implemented in Botswana over the past decades. However, crop production continues to decline despite governmental efforts. The increasing adverse effects of climate change have contributed to the failure of government efforts. To advance sustainable crop production and resilience to climate change, the following adaptation approaches are recommended: efficient and sustainable use of water resources in agriculture, policy reformation, capacity building, regional collaboration, and climate-smart agriculture. Moreover, extensive evaluations are necessary for policies and implemented programs. This includes timely adjustments to policies on the basis of feedback from monitoring and evaluating specific, measurable indicators of ongoing policies and programs. Furthermore, engaging relevant stakeholders and local community members in the monitoring and evaluation process can enhance the relevance and accuracy of implemented government policies or programs.

Of the 37% of carbon dioxide emissions generated by the construction industry, 5–7% comes from cement processing. In response to this problem, ways to utilize soil, a material with low energy consumption, are being explored as an eco-friendly option. In particular, eco-friendly design is being emphasized in the construction field through 3D printing technology. The research method proceeds in two stages. The first measures the changes in drying shrinkage, volume mass, compressive strength, and flexural strength over 7 days for a test specimen created by mixing coffee, charcoal, and rice bran with Hwangto. In the second step, slaked lime, a solidifying material, is mixed and tested under the same test specimen conditions as in the first. As a result of the experiment, the higher the mixing ratio of Hwangto, the greater the compressive strength and flexural strength. In particular, coffee exhibited the highest compressive strength at 1.50MPa, while charcoal demonstrated the highest flexural strength at 0.51MPa. However, when solidifying materials were mixed, the overall strength decreased, especially in the case of coffee (1.50MPa for the first time/0.87MPa for the second time), which showed a 42% decrease. Overall, charcoal was the most suitable mixing material and exhibited consistent and stable strength values in all experiments. Based on these experimental results, a 1/50 scale pavilion was produced through 3D printing. The stable shape and appropriate strength of the result were confirmed, making it suitable for educational or practical purposes. It suggests the possibility of use across industries.

The primary purpose of this paper is to call for more research on the competencies needed to promote sustainable urban development. Our premise is that sustainable urban development does not occur without transcending differing interests and identifying novel ways to collaborate across organisational and institutional boundaries. Relatedly, sustainable urban development calls for mobilisation and pooling of scattered assets. Therefore, sustainable urban development calls for enhanced competencies that significantly differ from the traditional capabilities valued in public administration. This premise leads us to determine what competencies are needed to support sustainable urban development and to ask how fragmented capabilities can be pooled to serve the common purpose. Sustainable urban development necessitates transformative system change, dependent on diverse stakeholders, relying on many actors’ knowledge and capabilities instead of a few selected actors’ expertise. To achieve a systemic perspective, we need to be able to group the capabilities and competencies; otherwise. We propose a conceptual framework drawing on insights from public administration, management studies, organisation studies, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that might allow us to move from individual capabilities to shared competencies and collective learning processes, thus adding analytical leverage to our efforts to strengthen the competencies embedded in systems but held by individuals. For analytical purposes, we adopt the concept of the competence set. It is geared toward identifying how different capabilities of many actors could be integrated at a systemic level so that a set would serve both the entire urban system and the actors embedded in it.

This research aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of various pieces of literature on the “sustainable urban street (SUS)” between 1992 and 2023. This review intends to provide an overall understanding of the evolution and progression of research on the SUS over the past three decades. Our study adheres to the theoretical framework of bibliometric research and uses datasets from the Web of Science and Scopus websites. The diverse literature on the SUS study was compiled using the terms “sustainable” or “green” and “urban street” or “urban road”. The datasets include journal articles including early access, proceedings paper articles, book chapters, and review papers with terms mentioned anywhere in their title, abstracts, keyword lists, or bodies. After assembling and analysing the datasets, we got the final dataset of 812 documents on SUS for further analysis. The utilization of the open-source and free statistical and visualization software tools- R and VOS Viewer primarily served the purpose of processing and analysing datasets. The analysis provides the total number of documents that were published per year and the top 10 authors, publications, journals, research organisations, and nations that contributed to publishing papers on this topic. The lexical network analysis reveals that SUS is strongly associated with the two frequently occurring terms “sustainable development” and “air quality”. China, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom have conducted most studies on SUS. The top three most influential journals for SUS are “Sustainability”, “Building and Environment”, and “Sustainable Cities and Society”. The main contribution of this bibliometric analysis is to identify future research needs for sustainable urban streets. This dataset, based on an evaluation of 30 years of study in this field, will prove helpful in the future for researchers and policymakers alike. This study also enhances the existing knowledge of sustainable urban streets by offering a comprehensive framework and a systematic understanding of the challenges associated with urban transformation and sustainability that have emerged in recent years.

Abstract Solid waste management is a demanding issue globally. Zimbabwe is among nations in Southern Africa that faces political and socio-economic challenges in solid waste management including landfill management. However, proper landfill management is critical to minimise environmental health risks of solid waste and Zimbabwe is no exception. Therefore, this paper focuses on sustainable landfill management in Zimbabwe based on SHEQ management systems by reviewing existing literature. Literature denotes that generation of solid waste destined for landfills accelerate due to increase of population, urbanisation and diseases. Hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste from institutions, households and industries is transported by municipalities to landfills. Solid waste is disposed and left uncovered or compacted on improperly engineered landfills devoid of gas and leachate control systems. Landfills in Zimbabwe are far from sustainable since they cause negative impacts to terrestrial, aquatic and atmospheric ecosystems and human health is not spared as hazardous wastes are found at landfills. Nevertheless, literature reveals that SHEQ management systems are vital to attain sustainability in the realm of landfill management. SHEQ management systems contribute to continuous improvement of landfills management strategies through application of the Deming cycle. SHEQ management systems that support protection of workers and waste workers are included. The system supports inclusion of various stakeholders, correct documentation of data and conformity to national and international legislation, policies and standards when dealing with waste. SHEQ management systems support recycling, reuse and recovery processes during waste management. The review concludes that SHEQ management systems are necessary to reach sustainable landfill management in Zimbabwe.

The present study investigates the significance of the utilization of biodiesel derived from waste cooking oil in diesel engines and its impact on engine output and environmental pollution after blending with diesel and 1-pentanol. The higher values of the ignition index and comprehensive performance index of 4.34 × 10−4mass/min°C2 and 13.71× 10−6 mass2/min2 °C3, respectively, for D70B20P10 (70 % diesel, 20 % biodiesel & 10 % 1-pentanol by volume) indicate superior combustion performance. At full load, carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbon emissions from 1-pentanol blended fuels decrease significantly, ranging from 40 % to 52 % and 30.76–46.15 % compared to diesel. The D70B20P10 also showed an improved thermal efficiency of 28.68 % among all tested fuels at full load but slightly lower than diesel (29.56 %). Diesel demonstrated superior in-cylinder pressure (ICP) of 77 bar and heat release rate (HRR) of 41.1 J/ºCA owing to its excellent combustion characteristics. Introducing 5–10 % 1-pentanol in blend improved combustion, elevating ICP and HRR, attributed to enhanced fuel atomization and oxygen content. The sustainable process index value obtained for a global index per person is 0.002×10−4cap Litre-1, which lies between 0 and 1, indicates sustainability and compatibility of biodiesel production demonstration by universal biofuels (Andhra Pradesh).

This study aims to enhance understanding of the socially constructed nature of tourism imaginaries. Qualitative data was collected using purposive sampling, with interviews conducted with a total of 10 stakeholders, including representatives from a government agency (2 persons), village community management (4 persons), a nature guide organization (3 persons), and a wildlife ranger (1 person). Narrative fieldwork in Merapoh was carried out to provide insights into the theory of tourism imaginaries through four key storie. Firstly, the study explores the history and culture that make Merapoh valuable as a tourism destination. Secondly, it examines the production of tourism imaginaries in this place. Thirdly, it analyzes how these images are related to the local communities, who are equally shaped by intangible heritage in the creation of tourism imaginaries. Finally, it investigates the challenges in improving Merapoh's potential as an eco-tourism destination. The findings from the first story reveal that Merapoh was historically inhabited by Chinese miners who discovered iron and gold ores. However, the area was declared an emergency site in 1948, leading to the closure of the mines and the resettlement of Chinese villagers to Jerkoh village. The second story shows that the government is focusing on developing Merapoh's tourism sector, particularly heritage tourism, and is making efforts to restructure Pekan Merapoh to attract more tourists. The third story highlights the tourism redevelopment plan for Merapoh Geopark, which includes cave tourism, national park tourism, and agrotourism, with a focus on the unique limestone caves and eco-tourism opportunities. The fourth story outlines the challenges in developing eco-tourism in Merapoh, such as cave development issues, social problems, a lack of accommodation facilities, limited exposure and interest in local culture, environmental pollution, and uncontrolled logging, which is causing environmental damage and endangering plant species. Tourism imaginaries are the foundation for constructing valuable collective narratives, evoking the emotions associated with a tourist destination. An advanced conceptual model for sustainable tourism, called 'The Pillar of Merapoh Imaginaries,' was developed. The eco-tourism potential of Merapoh is driven by self-fulfilling expectations shaped by local imaginations, best explained through the concept of tourism imaginaries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To retract from its overdependence on crude oil fortunes and be a participant in the green energy economy, Nigeria has recently begun to revive and modernize its mining industry. The modernization is driven by the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act, 2007 (NMMA) and Regulations promulgated thereunder. This paper examines whether and to what extent the NMMA and the Regulations provide sufficient legal architecture for local communities to meaningfully participate in mineral development decisions and processes in ways that advance the course of their sustainable development. It acknowledges that participation or meaningful consultation with local communities in regard to decisions or activities pertaining to resource development is a modern strategy for ensuring that local communities obtain the benefits of sustainable development and measures the compliance of the NMMA and its Regulations against the standard tools developed under international law. It attributes the human and environmental sustainability crisis in the Niger Delta region to the failure of the Nigerian government to involve the oil host communities early on in the oil development and governance scheme and warns that Nigeria should not repeat the same error as it embarks on modernizing the solid mineral industry. The paper aims to highlight an evolution of agriculture from the perspective of climate mitigation with the implications set out in the Common Agricultural Policy. The technical performance of agriculture has led to the restoration of paradigms in agriculture in relation to the movement of vectors to achieve environmental conditions. An essential premise for the application of the methodological analysis was the evaluation of agricultural systems which we will methodologically explore how the information being extracted from the available statistical databases Agridata. The development of a conceptual system for the feasibility of soil techniques by responsibly managing agricultural technology mechanisms can be expected to mitigate the impact of climate change. The relevance of this research aims at building innovative agricultural models that make feasible both the adaptation of agricultural technologies based on the implementation of sustainable agriculture and their interconnectivity in the local environment, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, alternatively maintaining agricultural productivity in the development region vision.

Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA) has the responsibility for restoring uranium mining facilities once the operations have finished. CNEA, within its Environmental Program and in compliance with its legal responsibilities, decides to implement a restoration project for all sites related to the mining and processing of uranium ores. The Malargüe Site is located within the Province of Mendoza in the city of Malargüe. It is the first site to successfully complete its remediation. The activities consist of relocation of tailings to an engineering repository. The tailings management (encapsulation) and rehabilitation of the area was finished in June 2017. The remediation alternative for the ore tailings was selected after conducting comparative studies and submitted the project to the society for consideration. The objective of the encapsulation of the mineral tails is to isolate them from the environment, also proceeding with the decontamination and rehabilitation of the area (landscaping, post-closure monitoring and 20 years monitoring period). Encapsulation consisted of the construction of a containment cell for the mine tailings, to isolate them and prevent pollutants from entering the environment through the transfer routes. To clean the impacted areas, the soil was removed, it was incorporated into the encapsulation, and the filling was carried out with natural soils from the area. Remediation prevents radon transfer to the environment, as 222Ra is an alpha emitter with a half-life of four days, which produces its own radioactive progeny. Radon progeny are solids, and when a 222Ra nucleus emits an alpha particle into the air, the resulting 218Po nucleus, momentarily electrically charged, adheres to any dust particle. Remediation prevents the discharge into the air containing radon and also containing dust particles charged with intensely radioactive radon progeny. The tasks mentioned make it possible to decrease radon emanation, reduce radiological risks to the public and prevent the entry of rainwater into the system. In addition, the containment system prevents the discharge of contaminated liquids into the environment, avoiding contamination of the groundwater. All these activities are according to the concepts of sustainability.

Sustainable fishing ports play a vital role in ensuring the long-term health of marine ecosystems and supporting the livelihoods of coastal communities. This article explores the factors that contribute to the development of sustainable fishing ports, which consider environmental, social, and economic aspects in a balanced way. This research aims to develop a model of sustainable fishing port considering significant factors which influenced the sustainable fishing port, especially for fishing ports located in East Java Province, Indonesia. In this term, the sustainable fishing port is well known as an eco-fishing port. Purposive sampling was used to choose 215 participants from representatives of the government, private sectors in the fishing field, and fishing communities of six potential fishing ports in East Java Province, Indonesia. The data was analysed using a partial least square (PLS) approach with SmartPLS 3. The findings of the research indicate that eight hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H7, H8 and H11) are supported while three hypotheses (H6, H9, and H10) are not supported. The study reveals a significant correlation between market demand, community welfare, infrastructure, environmental carrying capacity, and regulation. It is also found that market demand, community welfare, infrastructure, environmental carrying capacity, and regulation have significant positive relations with eco-fishing ports. The positive relationship indicates that adherence to these regulations fosters responsible fishing methods, preventing overexploitation of fish stocks, and contributes to the conservation of marine environments, ensuring the port operates in harmony with natural ecosystems and local communities.

Abstract As one of the mainstream biodegradable materials, poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) foams offer a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic foams, effectively reducing environmental pollution. However, the high cost and poor mechanical performance of PBAT foams impede their practical application. Herein, the glycidyl methacrylate-grafted biomass lignin (GML) was used to produce a PBAT/GML composite foam with good foaming performance and mechanical properties at high lignin-filling amounts by twin-screw melting free radical polymerization and supercritical CO2 foaming process. The compatibility of GML in the PBAT matrix was improved due to the formation of ester bonds in modified lignin, endowing the PBAT/GML (PGML) composite foam with exceptional foaming performance. Additionally, the mechanical properties of PGML composite foam were remarkably enhanced due to the introduction of the abundant aromatic structures of GML and the construction of a stable covalent crosslinking network. The compressive strengths and compression modulus of the PGML foam were improved by 2.53 times and 2.47 times, while its bending strength and bending modulus were improved by 1.27 times and 3.92 times compared to the neat PBAT. This research affords a new strategy for developing low-cost biodegradable biomass PBAT/lignin composite foam materials with good foaming performance and mechanical properties. Graphical abstract

Eleven factors were identified that may affect the sustainable competitive advantage, which were embedded in to the survey questionnaire. Participants included diverse healthcare workers (physicians, specialist physicians, nurses, managers) from Saudi public hospitals. A total of 382 healthcare workers participated in the study.Results: User experience and accessibility emerged as the most significant factor with a high mean of 4.04 ± 0.69, followed by innovation and continuous improvement (mean 3.8 ± 0.89) and AI adoption (mean 3.91 ± 0.82). Notably, a statistically significant difference is observed in the domain of Data Security and Privacy (p = 0.0448), with specialist physicians exhibiting a lower mean score (2.44 ± 0.86) compared to other roles.Conclusion: The need to strengthen overall competitiveness is emphasized by identified areas for improvement, including data security, interoperability, and integration, which highlight the necessity for specific initiatives.Keywords: artificial intelligence, eHealth, eHealthcare, sustainable, competitive advantage

Abstract Solar energy has become a prominent and crucial source of clean energy due to the increasing global demand for electricity. There is a prevailing global trend towards the construction of solar farms as a means of energy generation. This study aims to assess multiple criteria encompassing urban, environmental, and social aspects in order to ascertain the optimal site for constructing solar farms. The evaluation primarily focuses on characteristics such as topography, solar radiation, accessibility, land use, and proximity to roads and power stations. In order to acquire the necessary spatial fit model, the data was evaluated utilizing a Geographic Information System (GIS) program, and the criteria were subsequently consolidated into an integrated geographic information system. A comprehensive review of the existing body of literature reveals that environmental factors, specifically solar radiation and aspect, play a crucial role in determining the suitable places for the establishment of solar energy collection projects (Merrouni et al. in Energy Procedia 49:2270-2279, 2013; McKinney in J Student Res Environ Sci Appalac 4:1-14, 2014). Furthermore, other analysis factors such as proximity to built-up regions, closeness to power lines, and proximity to roadways are taken into account (Hott et al. in GIS-based Spatial Analysis For LargeScale Solar Power And Transmission Line Issues: Case Study of Wyoming, U.S. In: Proceedings of the 41st American Solar Energy Society Meeting, 2012; Effat in Int J Adv Remote Sens GIS 2:205-220, 2013). These criteria have an impact on the cost of solar farms. The objective of this study was to assess several aspects influencing the selection of an optimal location for a solar energy farm, taking into consideration the aforementioned criteria. The study was carried out in New Aswan city, utilizing data obtained from the Urban Planning Authority within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, as well as the New Aswan City AuthorityI generated cartographic representations and compiled quantitative data, which informed our selection of places that met the established criteria through the utilization of a Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Upon the conclusion of the study, numerous locations that satisfied the established criteria were selected. The present study focuses on regions with high capacity, and the findings are depicted in the form of spatial and objective maps. One of the primary benefits associated with the utilization of this methodology lies in its versatility, as it can be implemented across several domains. Furthermore, a straightforward adjustment of the criteria facilitates its application in the selection of optimal locations for wind farms.

Abstract A novel synthetic pathway for synthesizing isocyanate-free polyurethanes is reported here. β-Amino alcohols were efficiently synthesized from the aminolysis of the epoxide ring of (R)-(+)-limonene oxide with different primary amines as nucleophiles and hot water as catalysts. The regio- and diastereoselectivities of the reactions were investigated and supported by computational studies. DFT calculations were performed to understand the experimental results more deeply. It confirmed the crucial roles of water molecules and the nature of the nucleophile in forming the products. The formation of the product is entirely driven by the free energy of activation that affects the reaction rate. Cyclic carbamates were prepared from β-amino alcohols using the dialkyl carbonate (DAC) chemistry. An oligourethane was obtained from Anionic Ring-Opening Polymerization (AROP) of a cyclic carbamate derived from (R)-(+)-limonene-oxide. All the products were characterized by employing 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies. The assignments of the signals in 1H and 13C NMR spectra were also supported by 2D NMR spectroscopy.

Abstract Effective River system management is essential for conserving water resources, improving agricultural productivity, and sustaining ecological health. Remote sensing is crucial for evaluating and tracking several elements of river systems. The study explores the incorporation of remote sensing into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to acquire a thorough comprehension of river dynamics and accurately record minor fluctuations in river conditions. The study demonstrates the utilization of satellite series such as Landsat, Sentinel to enhance monitoring and management methods through the analysis of high-resolution imagery and data. AI helps remote sensing by automating data processing, finding patterns, and making predictions about river conditions and trends. Machine learning techniques enhance the analytical capabilities of GIS and remote sensing data by accurately classifying land cover, predicting flood events, and evaluating water quality. The research highlights the novel approaches of utilizing remote sensing and GIS to tackle the issues related to data accessibility, analysis, and verification. The study also acknowledges specific constraints and difficulties, such as concerns over the accessibility of data, intricacies in analysis, and the processes involved in validation. The statement underscores the importance of ongoing research, technical progress, and collaboration among stakeholders to overcome these limitations and fully exploit the capabilities of remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and geographic information systems. An integrated approach is crucial for the development of successful policies and strategies that improve the resilience and sustainable management of river systems. This approach eventually promotes sustainable water resource practices and ecological preservation.

Residential compounds are not limited to residential activity only, but other human activities exist through the work of the proper landscape design for the spaces between the buildings, and some of them link the buildings and those activities. The landscape design varies from one residential compound to another depending on the nature of the surrounding environment, the type of user, the required activity, and the general character of the area. This paper aims to decide and clear monitoring of the set of needs and humanity within the residential communities through a toolset of a check list from earlier projects implemented and currently used at the international and local levels. Three approaches (theoretical, analytical, and applied) were implemented. First, the components affecting the landscape add to reviewing the principles of landscape design. Some examples of landscape design in residential communities in (Dubai) were analyzed using the comparative analytical approach. The assessment of the thermal energy performance of earth-based buildings with respect to the semi-arid Mediterranean climate of Morocco is scarce, even if the country is historically known for its earthen dwellings. According to this need, this work aims to understand and evaluate the indoor thermal comfort and energy performances of passive building in two different locations. We have used EnergyPlus modeling tool and in addition, the monitored ten-day indoor temperatures in two different thermal zones in the test prototype to justify the empirical validation of Building Energy Model. The findings demonstrate, the use of compressed earth blocks coupled with passive design strategies provides better comfort and great sustainability. Thus, the summer discomfort hours are reduced about 12% for both cities compared to conventional building. However, the combination of semi-arid climate-responsive passive design has allowed to reach a thermal energy intensity reduction difference from 20 to 65 kWh.m−2. y−1.

Abstract The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the administration of ritonavir (RIT)-boosted nirmatrelvir (NMV) on May 25, 2023, for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in patients who are at high risk of developing severe COVID-19. In accordance with sustainability and environmental friendliness, simple, eco-friendly, and sustainable spectrophotometric methods were established for concurrently estimating RIT and NMV in newly launched copackaged pills. The suggested solutions for resolving the spectral overlap between RIT and NMV involve the following mathematical methods: the first derivative method (1D), second derivative method (2D), and dual-wavelength zero-order method (DWZ). When ethanol was used as a green dilution solvent, the linearity range was adjusted (10–250 µg/mL) for both drugs. The procedures resulted in a high correlation coefficient (not less than 0.9996) and satisfactory levels of detection and quantification. Additionally, method validation was performed in accordance with International Council for Harmonization norms. Moreover, a detailed ecological and sustainability evaluation protocol was established to confirm the greenness and whiteness of the methods. Finally, the proposed method, along with previously reported methods for analysing NMV and RIT, were reviewed analytically and ecologically.

This study investigates the impact of lean and green supply chain practices on business process performance and sustainable supply chain performance. The research utilises the resource-based view (RBV) theory to construct a conceptual model wherein lean and green supply chain practices are employed to augment business processes and sustainable performance. Concurrently, dynamic capabilities theory is applied to signify an organisation’s capacity to adapt and evolve in response to internal and external pressures from customers and competitors. The conceptual model is validated using structural equation modelling with a sample of 170 supply chain practitioners from the apparel and textile supply chain in Jordan. Results indicate that lean practices exhibit no direct impact, whereas green practices significantly influence business process performance and indirectly affect sustainable supply chain performance. Business process performance does not mediate the relationship for lean practices, but it does so for green practices. Moreover, the environmental orientation of both competitors and customers negatively moderates the impact of green practices on business processes and sustainable supply chain performance. These findings contribute to existing literature and underscore the crucial role of green supply chain practices in enhancing sustainable supply chain performance in the apparel and textile industry.

Concrete is one of the most commonly used materials in civil engineering construction, and it continues to have increased production. This puts pressure on the consumption of its constituent materials, including Portland cement and aggregates. There are environmental consequences related to the increased emission of CO2 that are associated with the production process of Portland cement. This has led to the development and use of alternative cementitious materials, mainly in the form of condensed silica fume, pulverised fuel ash, and ground granulated blast furnace slag. All of these are by-products of the silicon, electrical power generation, and iron production industries, respectively. In recent years, attention has turned to the possible use of sustainable bio-waste materials that might contribute to the replacement of Portland cement in concrete. This research investigates the effects of using rice husk ash as cement replacement material on the 1 to 28-day concrete properties, including the compressive strength, workability, and durability of concrete. The findings indicate that including rice husk ash in concrete can improve its strength at 3–28 days for percentage replacements of 5% to 20% (ranging from 2.4% to 18.7% increase) and improvements from 1 day for 20% replacement (with 11.1% increase). Any percentage replacement with rice husk ash also reduced the air permeability by 21.4% and therefore improved the durability, while there was a small reduction in the workability with increased replacement.

Purpose Evaluation of the efficacy of two novel formulations of arginine and theobromine in remineralizing artificial enamel defects using in vitro testing techniques- Microhardness and SEMMaterials and methods Enamel slabs measuring 3 mm by 3 mm by 1.5 mm were created using 11 healthy premolars that were excised for orthodontic treatment. Group 1 (control, treated with merely a remineralization solution), Group 2 (0.05% arginine in 10 ml distilled water), and Group 3 (2% theobromine in 10 ml distilled water) were the three groups to which the slabs were randomly allocated (n = 7 per group). The pH cycle was run for 14 days, starting with a 72-h demineralization period and ending with 11 days of remineralization in the corresponding solutions. Prior to and during remineralization, microhardness was measured, and surface features were assessed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Statistical analysis, including Paired T Test, one-way ANOVA, and post hoc Tukey tests, determined that the mean values were significant at the 0.05 level.Results The control group showed a mean microhardness increase from 192.09 ± 19.30 to 208.58 ± 5.76. The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of creating a prototype of a self-sufficient houseboat that is capable of prolonged independence from power grids and freshwater sources. In this design, electricity demand is met by a photovoltaic installation, and the energy is stored in batteries. Fresh water for living needs may be obtained from many sources, depending on the environmental conditions, such as through purifying outboard water, desalinating seawater, and collecting and storing rainwater. No waste production of the vessel can be achieved in two ways: waste can be treated and discharged into a body of water, or processed into fertiliser for later use in agriculture. Four possible locations were analysed: Rome, Lisbon, Gdańsk and Stockholm. The findings reveal that the length of time for which the unit is autonomous and emission-free depends on the geographical location of the facility. In periods when there is overproduction of energy, the system can produce hydrogen, donate energy to the grid, use it for the needs of its own movement, or perform other useful work, e.g. cleaning or aerating the water body on which it is floating.

The service-learning strategy is an educational approach, which combines both academic study and community needs to improve design solutions by providing the students with an educational plan to develop their skills in solving real design problems as a way of contributing to their community and society. This Research aimed at identifying the impact of the service learning strategy in developing packaging design skills, as well as to investigate the degree of continuity of the impact of the service learning strategy in developing packaging design skills for students of fine arts at the Universities of Alexandria and Pharos, at least one month after its application has been completed. Research was applied on a sample consists of (22) male and female students in the third year. In the statistical analysis of the data, the researcher depended on the Wilcoxon test and the size of the effect. The results of the research revealed that there was a statistically significant effect of the service learning strategy in developing packaging design skills, the continuity of the statistically significant effect of the service-learning strategy in developing the skills of designing packaging among students of fine arts at the Universities of Alexandria and Pharos one month after the end of its application. The results were discussed and interpreted in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies. In the light of the research results, some educational recommendations and research suggestions were presented.

So that it has a different discourse in each period? or the existence of the Ulur-Ulur tradition due to the tolerance of the predominantly Islamic local community towards the previous culture? On the other hand, did the Ulur-Ulur tradition also negotiate itself from Islamic domination? This research uses historical and ethnographic methods. This study has three findings, first: the existence of the Ulur-Ulur tradition because of its ability to read discourse in each era, so that the Ulur-Ulur tradition has various meanings. Second, the tolerance of the majority Islamic community also maintains the existence of the Ulur-Ulur tradition. Third, the negotiation between the Ulur-ulur tradition and Islam, is also the key to the existence of tradition, the form of negotiation can be seen from the meaning of the offering.

Abstract Environmental concerns and climate protection are gaining increasing emphasis nowadays. A growing number of industries and scientific fields are involved in this trend. Sustainable electronics is an emerging research strand. Environmentally friendly and biodegradable or biobased raw materials can be used for the development of green flexible electronic devices, which may serve to reduce the pollution generated by plastics and electronics waste. In this work, we present cytocompatible, electrically conductive structures of nanocarbon water-soluble composites based on starch films. To accomplish this goal, potato starch-based films with glycerol as a plasticiser were developed along with a water-soluble vehicle for nanocarbon-based electroconductive pastes specifically dedicated to screen printing technology. Films were characterized by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) mechanical properties and surface free energy.

South Africa, amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s challenges, explores sustainable education intersecting with community development. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study scrutinized educational dynamics. A case study method selected three secondary schools, involving 105 learners were purposively selected for this study. The study was underpinned by the human capital theory. This theoretical framework highlights the importance of addressing systemic inequities and promoting social justice. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Qualitative data captured community perspectives, advocating for technology integration in education. Overcoming barriers like infrastructure and digital literacy was seen as crucial. The study findings highlighted integrating STEM education into South Africa’s curriculum, focusing on interdisciplinary strategies to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. STEAM courses were seen as a way which prepare students for the 4IR, fostering adaptability and future employment readiness. Lack of electricity, computers, and availability of computer training was revealed as one of the lacking factors among teachers in schools. Themes were drawn and discussed in relation to the research question. The study suggests assessing long-term impacts on community indicators like economic empowerment and health. The study concluded that police makers and curriculum designers may need to re-evaluate educational systems for STEAM. The study therefore recommended that it may be of great help if rigorous outcome evaluation measures of educational intervention would be effective in schools. Also, analyzing policy frameworks was recommended as essential for national development agendas, and bridging policy gaps

The growth of maritime shipping is leading to the creation of larger vessels. However, this expansion in size brings with it several challenges, including the development of maritime infrastructure, the potential for growth in third-world countries, and the emission of greenhouse gases. In response to these challenges, this research explores the feasibility of designing an autonomous ship capable of transporting a single standardized 40 ft. container overseas using mainly passive propulsion methods. Using advanced design tools, including CAD software and CFD simulations, as well as conducting a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature, the designs for a hull and sails were developed, and an overview of the potential active control systems required for autonomous operation was provided. The study also performed an initial analysis of strength, stability, and velocity to validate the design choices. The ship proves to adhere to the basic strength and stability requirements while reaching its maximum hull velocity at certain wind speeds. The results of the study indicate that it is possible to design and manufacture a mainly passively propelled ship capable of transporting a 40 ft. standardized container overseas and rethink the logistics at scale. Bioregenerative food systems that routinely produce fresh, safe-to-eat crops onboard spacecraft can supplement the nutrition and variety of shelf-stable spaceflight food systems for use during future exploration missions (i.e., low earth orbit, Mars transit, lunar, and Martian habitats). However, current space crop production systems are not yet sustainable because they primarily utilize consumable granular media and, to date, operate like single crop cycle, space biology experiments where root modules are sanitized prior to launch and discarded after each grow-out. Moreover, real-time detection of the cleanliness of crops produced in spacecraft is not possible. A significant paradigm shift is needed in the design of future space crop production systems, as they transition from operating as single grow-out space biology experiments to becoming sustainable over multiple cropping cycles. Soilless nutrient delivery systems have been used to demonstrate post-harvest sanitization and inflight microbial monitoring technologies to enable sequential cropping cycles in spacecraft. Post-harvest cleaning and sanitization prevent the buildup of biofilms and ensure a favorable environment for seedling establishment of the next crop. Inflight microbial monitoring of food and watering systems ensures food safety in spaceflight food systems. A sanitization protocol, heat sterilization at 60°C for 1 h, and soaking for 12 h in 1% hydrogen peroxide, developed in this study, was compared against a standard hydroponic sanitization protocol during five consecutive crop cycles. Each cropping cycle included protocols for the cultivation of a crop to maturity, followed by post-harvest cleaning and inflight microbial monitoring. Microbial sampling of nutrient solution reservoirs, root modules, and plants demonstrated that the sanitization protocol could be used to grow safe-to-eat produce during multiple crop cycles. The cleanliness of the reservoir and root module surfaces measured with aerobic plate counts was verified in near real time using a qPCR-based inflight microbial monitoring protocol. Post-harvest sanitization and inflight microbial monitoring are expected to significantly transform the design of sustainable bioregenerative food and life support systems for future exploration missions beyond low earth orbit (LEO). AbstractThis study compared the weed suppression ability of a native cover crop species phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia), an introduced cover crop species rye (Secale cereale L.), and a no cover crop (herbicide‑managed) system in a vineyard. Cover crops were sown in the interrow spaces of the grapevine rows. Percent weed cover after the cover crop termination was lower in the interrow of the phacelia than the no cover crop plots. During the cover crop growing season, phacelia suppressed weeds more than rye. However, the weed seedbank of the cover crop plots was greater than that of the no cover crop plots. Microplastic residue left in the environment from plastic chewcards in three pest mammal monitoring operations was estimated at an average of 15% of the starting weight. This finding highlight the issue of single-use plastics within New Zealand’s (NZ) conservation sector. A review of other research operations across NZ shows a significant number of plastic chewcards are deployed, potentially contributing to microplastic pollution in environmentally sensitive areas. Our research shows the need for sustainable alternatives to plastic chewcards in order to mitigate the environmental impact. Alongside an estimation of microplastic being left in the environment, we evaluated wood-pulp chewcards as a potential alternative to corflute chewcards, with results indicating wood-pulp cards maintain comparable interaction rates across key pest species. By identifying the environmental issues of microplastics in the environment and offering a potential alternative, we aim to open a dialogue about adopting more sustainable tools and practices in the NZ conservation sector. Red macroalgae in the genus Porphyra are widely collected for human consumption and increasingly harvested along the North Atlantic coasts but their ability to withstand repeated harvesting and maintain high cover and abundance on natural shorelines remains poorly explored, raising sustainability concerns. Therefore, we investigated the effect of frequent hand-harvesting on Porphyra dioica in a population in South Wales, UK, where it is commercially harvested. Twelve control and twelve treatment quadrats were installed in spring and six control and treatment plots in autumn. Monthly hand-harvesting of P. dioica individuals larger than 5 cm was performed in the treatment plots, while the control plots remained undisturbed. We monitored P. dioica percentage cover, yield, thallus length and recruit density, as well as benthic flora and fauna. Harvesting only impacted P. dioica thallus length, resulting in 41% smaller thalli compared to unharvested plots during summer, with possible long-term implications (e.g. reproductive output). Strong seasonality of P. dioica cover and yield was observed, peaking during spring and summer. The results suggest high resilience of the opportunistic life strategy of P. dioica under frequent harvesting, but to allow for full recovery, we urge for a recovery period of more than the tested 4 weeks. As one of the mainstream biodegradable materials, poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) foams offer a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic foams, effectively reducing environmental pollution. However, the high cost and poor mechanical performance of PBAT foams impede their practical application. Herein, the glycidyl methacrylate-grafted biomass lignin (GML) was used to produce a PBAT/GML composite foam with good foaming performance and mechanical properties at high lignin-filling amounts by twin-screw melting free radical polymerization and supercritical CO2 foaming process. The compatibility of GML in the PBAT matrix was improved due to the formation of ester bonds in modified lignin, endowing the PBAT/GML (PGML) composite foam with exceptional foaming performance. Additionally, the mechanical properties of PGML composite foam were remarkably enhanced due to the introduction of the abundant aromatic structures of GML and the construction of a stable covalent crosslinking network. The compressive strengths and compression modulus of the PGML foam were improved by 2.53 times and 2.47 times, while its bending strength and bending modulus were improved by 1.27 times and 3.92 times compared to the neat PBAT. This research affords a new strategy for developing low-cost biodegradable biomass PBAT/lignin composite foam materials with good foaming performance and mechanical properties. The role of local government in regional development planning is an essential topic in the context of sustainable local development. This study aimed to analyze the role of local governments in regional development planning and their impact on the effectiveness and sustainability of development at the local level. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis related to regional development policies and regulations. This research was conducted in several districts/cities in certain regions, considering diverse geographical, social, and economic contexts. The results showed that the role of local governments in regional development planning is vital in coordinating various interests, resources, and related actors. Local governments act as regulators, facilitators, and implementers in determining the direction, policies, and allocation of development resources. In addition, community and private-sector involvement is also recognized as an integral part of democratic and inclusive planning processes. The impact of the role of local governments in regional development planning can be seen in increasing the effectiveness of development programs, increasing community participation, reducing regional disparities, and improving the community's quality of life. Nevertheless, challenges such as corruption, lack of interagency coordination, and political uncertainty remain obstacles that must be overcome. This study concludes that the role of local governments in regional development planning is a critical factor in achieving sustainable regional development. Therefore, measures are needed to strengthen institutional capacity, increase transparency, and strengthen public participation to ensure sustainable and inclusive development planning at the local level. This study aims to investigate the roles and responsibilities of management accountants in Thailand, in a new and sustainable episode that has been disrupted by internal and external factors. Specifically, it also identifies the key factors that drive the changing roles of managerial accountants to be more innovative and business-strategy-oriented. Secondary data were employed in this study via the posted questionnaire to accountants who work in three industry sectors, namely manufacturing, retail and wholesale, and services. Multigroup structural equation modeling (multigroup SEM) was administered from the data. A sample set of 182 was gathered and used in the study’s analysis. 45% of the sample were accountants who worked in manufacturing, 22% in retail and wholesale, and 33% in service companies. The study proposed a structural equation modeling approach to determine key factors-digital technology force, leadership, digital technology readiness, digital technology competency, and attitude-that influence the changing roles of managerial accountants. The study finds that the factors that influenced the changing roles of managerial accountants differ from sector to sector. The digital technology force was found to have a weak influence on the changing roles of accountants, but moderately strong in retail and wholesale services. While the attitude of the accountants themselves was very strong to influence the changing roles, it was moderately strong for retail and wholesale, and rather weak for the services sector. Featured Application: The biofilm-based slow sand filtration system developed in this research offers a sustainable and effective solution for improving water quality in rural and resource-limited environments. The biofilm layer enhances filtration efficiency and removes organic matter and other contaminants from the water. This low-tech approach can be easily implemented and maintained using locally available materials, providing a reliable and long-term solution for reducing water turbidity and contaminant levels, thereby improving public health and living conditions. Some Maasai communities in northern Tanzania face severe water quality and scarcity issues, significantly impacting the health and living conditions of the local population. To address the water quality challenges faced by one of the Maasai communities, where thousands of residents consume water with high turbidity and contaminants, a team of volunteers, primarily engineering students from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, conducted a project in 2023. This project aimed to improve water quality through the implementation of combined sedimentation and biofilm-based slow sand filtration systems. These systems utilized mechanical filtration via sand bed percolation and biological filtration through biofilm formation, which effectively reduced turbidity and removed contaminants. The biofilm maturation significantly enhanced filtration efficiency, achieving turbidity reduction from levels exceeding 10,000 to below 5 NTU, meeting WHO standards. Comprehensive water quality assessments revealed contamination in the water sources, with elevated levels of lead (up to 11 mg/L), which pose health risks. In addition, we evaluated locally accessible materials such as chalk and limestone for coagulation and precipitation, enhancing water clarity and removing contaminants. Despite constraints that shortened the mission duration, the results provide a solid foundation for future efforts to improve water quality in the region. This study highlights the potential of low-tech biofilm-based filtration systems for sustainable water purification in resource-limited environments. The textile and clothing industries are very often lumped together when it comes to the environmental aspect such that the negative connotation of the textile industry from an environmental aspect is automatically transferred to the clothing industry. However, the two industries should be considered separately, particularly with regard to the machinery used and energy consumption in the production process. The energy consumption of electricity, compressed air, vacuum, steam, and other energy sources in the clothing industry is low compared to other related industries. Furthermore, no carcinogenic and allergenic waste is generated during the production of clothing, which has a low carbon footprint, i.e., it practically does not pollute the air, soil, and water. The waste produced during cutting is clean and unused and is immediately recycled. All of this contributes to the sustainability of the clothing industry from the energy and environmental aspects. Although chemical fertilization has gained a lot of attention due to its ability to increase the yield of fruit trees, it has been known to cause numerous environmental problems such as soil deterioration, alleviating beneficial microorganisms, and reducing fruit quality and safety. Hence, today, we aim to reduce these problems by using eco-friendly and sustainable biostimulants to promote nutritional status, yield, and quality. The effect of wood vinegar (WV) on mango production has yet to be investigated. Therefore, a field trial was conducted during the 2023 and 2024 seasons to evaluate the regulatory effect of individual and combined application of wood vinegar (WV), seaweed extract (SW), and humic acid (HA) on the performance of mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Ewais. The results revealed that all treatments had a pronounced effect and significantly improved the total chlorophyll content (107.7 and 106.6%), leaf N (2.02 and 2.23%), P (0.38 and 0.4), and K (1.07 and 1.13%), as well as enhancing the quality of mango fruits by increasing fruit length (11.68 and 12.38 cm), fruit width (7.8 and 8.59 cm), total sugars (40 and 37.3%), and TSS (21.9 and 20.8%) while reducing the total acidity (64.3 and 69.0%) in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, respectively, compared with the control. Based on this study, the treatment of 2 L/ha seaweed + 2 L/ha humic acid + 2 L/ha wood vinegar combined had the greatest effect on enhancing Ewais mango fruit yield by up-regulating leaf mineral acquisition, antioxidant response, and sugar accumulation. A novel synthetic pathway for synthesizing isocyanate-free polyurethanes is reported here. β-Amino alcohols were efficiently synthesized from the aminolysis of the epoxide ring of (R)-(+)-limonene oxide with different primary amines as nucleophiles and hot water as catalysts. The regio- and diastereoselectivities of the reactions were investigated and supported by computational studies. DFT calculations were performed to understand the experimental results more deeply. It confirmed the crucial roles of water molecules and the nature of the nucleophile in forming the products. The formation of the product is entirely driven by the free energy of activation that affects the reaction rate. Cyclic carbamates were prepared from β-amino alcohols using the dialkyl carbonate (DAC) chemistry. An oligourethane was obtained from Anionic Ring-Opening Polymerization (AROP) of a cyclic carbamate derived from (R)-(+)-limonene-oxide. All the products were characterized by employing 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies. The assignments of the signals in 1H and 13C NMR spectra were also supported by 2D NMR spectroscopy. The persistent reliance on coal has resulted in the accumulation of substantial coal gangue, a globally recognized problematic solid waste with environmental risks. Given the coal gangue properties and global land degradation severity, the resourceful utilization of coal gangue as soil conditioners is believed to be a universally applicable, cost-effective, high-demand and environment-friendly model with broad application prospect. The direct application of raw coal gangue faces challenges of low active beneficial ingredients, inadequate water and fertilizer retention, presence of potentially toxic elements, resulting in limited efficacy and environmental contamination. This paper provided a comprehensive review of various modification methods (including mechanical, chemical, microbiological, thermal, hydrothermal and composite modifications) employed to enhance the soil improvement performance and reduce the environmental pollution of coal gangue. Furthermore, an analysis was conducted on the potential application of modified coal gangue as a muti-function soil conditioner based on its altered properties. The modified coal gangue is anticipated to effectively enhance soil quality, exhibiting significant potential in mitigating carbon emissions and facilitating soil carbon sequestration. This paper provided innovative ideas for future research on the comprehensive treatment of coal gangue and restoration of degraded soil in order to achieve the dual goals of zero-coal gangue waste and sustainable agriculture. Solar energy has become a prominent and crucial source of clean energy due to the increasing global demand for electricity. There is a prevailing global trend towards the construction of solar farms as a means of energy generation. This study aims to assess multiple criteria encompassing urban, environmental, and social aspects in order to ascertain the optimal site for constructing solar farms. The evaluation primarily focuses on characteristics such as topography, solar radiation, accessibility, land use, and proximity to roads and power stations. In order to acquire the necessary spatial fit model, the data was evaluated utilizing a Geographic Information System (GIS) program, and the criteria were subsequently consolidated into an integrated geographic information system. A comprehensive review of the existing body of literature reveals that environmental factors, specifically solar radiation and aspect, play a crucial role in determining the suitable places for the establishment of solar energy collection projects (Merrouni et al. in Energy Procedia 49:2270-2279, 2013; McKinney in J Student Res Environ Sci Appalac 4:1-14, 2014). The study was carried out in New Aswan city, utilizing data obtained from the Urban Planning Authority within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, as well as the New Aswan City AuthorityI generated cartographic representations and compiled quantitative data, which informed our selection of places that met the established criteria through the utilization of a Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Upon the conclusion of the study, numerous locations that satisfied the established criteria were selected. The present study focuses on regions with high capacity, and the findings are depicted in the form of spatial and objective maps. One of the primary benefits associated with the utilization of this methodology lies in its versatility, as it can be implemented across several domains. Polyurethane (PU) foam has a high flammability and is widely used in aircraft interiors, presenting a significant danger to occupants. This study analysed three composite intumescent flame-retardant (IFR) coatings for flexible PU foam; expandable graphite (EG), ammonium polyphosphate (APP) and alginate (AG). The coatings were prepared in concentrations of 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 50 wt% with an acrylic binder. The coated samples were characterised using cone calorimetry, SEM, and mechanical testing. The findings showed peak heat release rate, total heat release, and carbon dioxide production from the 10 wt% triple-layer coating (EG:APP:AG) was 52%, 32%, and 58% less than the PU control. The char of the 10 wt% triple-layer sample effectively suppressed smoke release and inhibited the transfer of fuel and gas volatiles. Mechanical testing demonstrated a 3.4 times increase in tensile strength and a 15.4 times increase in compressive strength (50% compression) compared to the control PU with the 10 wt% triple-layer coating. A fire dynamics simulator model was developed that demonstrated large-scale flammability modelling for commercial aircraft. Future work can explore the integration of IFR coatings into computational analysis. This research aims to explore the integration of human resource development (HRD) into the growth of the halal tourism industry in Indonesia. Using a literature review method, the study examines strategies to enhance the sector's sustainable competitive advantage by focusing on HRD initiatives, including employee training, cultural competence, and service quality improvement in accordance with sharia principles. The findings indicate that while Indonesia has great potential in halal tourism, several barriers such as institutional readiness, inadequate infrastructure, and regulatory gaps hinder its full development. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous innovation, strategic marketing, and regulatory alignment to overcome these challenges.
