The hot deformation behavior of TB8 titanium alloy with a lamellar α structure in the α+β dulex phase region was investigated. The results show that at the strain rate of 1 s-1, a continuous flow softening phenomenon is observed in the curve of the samples deformed at 650 ℃, while a discontinuous yield phenomenon is visual in the curve of the samples when the deformation temperature is higher than 650 ℃. The discontinuous yield phenomenon is gradually disappeared with increasing deformation temperature and strain rate. When the strain rate is 0.001 s-1 and the deformation temperature is 750 ℃ as well as 800 ℃, typical characteristics of dynamic recrystallization is presented in the curve of the samples. The relationship among peak stress σp temperature T and strain rate ε · and is characterized by Arrhenius-type constitutive equation. The equation between the material constants (α, Q, n and lnA) and strain is constructed. The effect of strain on the material constants (α, Q, n and lnA) of the Arrhenius-type constitutive equation is analyzed. The value of α is increased with true strain, while the values of Q, n and lnA are gradually decreased. The correlation coefficient (R2) and the AARE value between the experimental and the predicted stress are 0.945 and 9.08%, respectively. This indicates that the strain-compensates Arrhenius type constitutive equation can better predict the flow stress value under different deformation conditions for the TB8 titanium alloy with a lamellar α structure deformed in the α+β dulex phase region.

Differences in the bacterial community structure associated with 7 skin sites in 71 healthy people over five days showed significant correlations with age, gender, physical skin parameters, and whether participants lived in urban or rural locations in the same city. While body site explained the majority of the variance in bacterial community structure, the composition of the skin-associated bacterial communities were predominantly influenced by whether the participants were living in an urban or rural environment, with a significantly greater relative abundance of Trabulsiella in urban populations. Adults maintained greater overall microbial diversity than adolescents or the elderly, while the intragroup variation among the elderly and rural populations was significantly greater. Skin-associated bacterial community structure and composition could predict whether a sample came from an urban or a rural resident ~5x greater than random.

Histone lactylation is a metabolic stress‐related histone modification. However, the role of histone lactylation in the development of sepsis‐associated acute kidney injury (SA‐AKI) remains unclear. Here, histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la) is elevated in SA‐AKI, which is reported in this study. Furthermore, this lactate‐dependent histone modification is enriched at the promoter of Ras homolog gene family member A (RhoA) and positively correlated with the transcription. Correction of abnormal lactate levels resulted in a reversal of abnormal histone lactylation at the promoter of RhoA. Examination of related mechanism revealed that histone lactylation promoted the RhoA/Rho‐associated protein kinase (ROCK) /Ezrin signaling, the activation of nuclear factor‐κB (NF‐κB), inflammation, cell apoptosis, and aggravated renal dysfunction. In addition, Ezrin can undergo lactylation modification. Multiple lactylation sites are identified in Ezrin and confirmed that lactylation mainly occurred at the K263 site. The role of histone lactylation is revealed in SA‐AKI and reportes a novel post‐translational modification in Ezrin. Its potential role in regulating inflammatory metabolic adaptation of renal proximal tubule epithelial cells is also elucidated. The 17th and 18th centuries were a period of extensive cultural interaction between China and the West, and also the beginning of Chinese poetry translation in the West. Jesuit missionaries were pioneers in introducing Chinese poetry to Europe. Influenced by the Confucian poetic thought of Siwuxie 思無邪 (no depraved thoughts) and Ricci's accommodation strategy, the Jesuits translated poems from the Shangshu 尚書, the Shijing 詩經, and the Emperor Qianlong's Imperial Odes on Shengjing 禦制盛京賦, as well as works by Fan Zhongyan 范仲淹, Du Fu 杜甫, Shao Yong 邵雍, and even the poems in the exhortations of the Ming and Qing dynasties into European languages. These poems predominantly dealt with themes of moral education, the image of virtuous monarchs, and the Chinese concept of the Heaven–human relationship. Through intentional omissions and rewriting, the Jesuits incorporated their religious and political views into the Chinese poetry. Their translated works not only enriched European knowledge of Chinese culture but also demonstrated the complexity of Chinese–Western cultural exchange. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Interprovincial disparities in carbon emissions from the construction industry (CECI) are an important challenge for future emissions reductions. Based on the CECI data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2020, the interprovincial equity and decoupling of CECI were examined in this study. The conclusions are as follows: (1): The main CECI growth regions were the eastern Bohai Rim region and the Pearl River Delta region. Heilongjiang basically achieved a CECI carbon peak in 2016. (2) The three northeastern provinces and western provinces were the main high–high and low–low aggregation areas, respectively. The greatest degree of inequality was found in the western provinces. The inequality between the eastern and western areas was the largest, while the inequality between the central and western areas was the smallest. The inequality in CECI in the north–south region decreased year by year. (3) The decoupling status of Shandong and some western provinces has significantly worsened, while the decoupling status of Sichuan, Yunnan, and some eastern developed provinces has been improving. Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is characterized by thrombus formation, poor pregnancy outcomes, and a proinflammatory response. H3K4me3‐related monocytes activation are key regulators of APS pathogenesis. Therefore, H3K4me3 CUT&Tag and ATAC‐seq are performed to examine the epigenetic profiles. The results indicate that the H3K4me3 signal and chromatin accessibility at the FOXJ2 promoter are enhanced in an in vitro monocyte model by stimulation with β2GPI/anti‐β2GPI, which mimics APS, and decreases after OICR‐9429 administration. Furthermore, FOXJ2 is highly expressed in patients with primary APS (PAPS) and is the highest in patients with triple‐positive antiphospholipid antibodies (aPLs). Mechanistically, FOXJ2 directly binds to the SLAMF8 promoter and activates SLAMF8 transcription. SLAMF8 further interacts with TREM1 to stimulate TLR4/NF‐κB signaling and prohibit autophagy. Knockdown of FOXJ2, SLAMF8, or TREM1 blocks TLR4/NF‐κB and provokes autophagy, subsequently inhibiting the release of inflammatory and thrombotic indicators. A mouse model of vascular APS is established via β2GPI intraperitoneal injection, and the results suggest that OICR‐9429 administration attenuates the inflammatory response and thrombus formation by inactivating FOXJ2/SLAMF8/TREM1 signaling. These findings highlight the overexpression of H3K4me3‐mediated FOXJ2 in APS, which consequently accelerates APS pathogenesis by triggering inflammation and thrombosis via boosting the SLAMF8/TREM1 axis. Purpose: Uveitis is one of the ocular manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that is often overlooked and has been considered a sign of severe IBD. As typical subtypes of IBD, differences exist in the prevalence of uveitis between Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). Our study systematically assessed differences in the prevalence of uveitis between CD and UC. Methods: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐analyses (PRISMA) guidelines were used. We performed a systematic review of published literature from PubMed and Embase on 30 March 2022. Two investigators independently selected studies, extracted data and evaluated methodological quality. Either a fixed‐ or a random‐effects model was used to calculate the risk ratio (RR), odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) depending on the heterogeneity of studies. Sensitivity analysis was used to examine the heterogeneity by removing article by article, while subgroup analysis was conducted in accordance with various regions. Results: Our study included data from 14 studies encompassing 115 854 participants. The prevalence of uveitis in IBD was estimated to be 2.38% (95% CI 1.60%–3.17%). The prevalence of uveitis in CD (3.27%, 95% CI 2.15%–4.39%) was significantly higher than in UC (1.60%, 95% CI 0.93%–2.27%; RR 1.76, 95% CI 1.39–2.22, p < 0.05). In subgroup analysis, a higher incidence of CD combined with uveitis was also observed in IBD patients residing in Europe (RR 1.75, 95% CI 1.37–2.24). Conclusions: Data from 115 854 IBD patients showed that CD patients were more likely to suffer from uveitis than UC patients. Ocular manifestations in IBD, particularly CD, warrant greater attention. The purpose of this research was to screen out the optimal -producing peptide conditions for cow milk fermented by Lactobacillus bulgaricus LB6. The effects of temperature, inoculation size, time and skim milk concentration on the ACE inhibition rate of fermented milk were investigated by single factor experiment, and the optimal fermentation conditions were determined by orthogonal experiment. The conditions of the single factor experiment were: Temperatures were 37° C, 39° C, 42° C, 44° C and 46° C. The inoculation amount was 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%, the time was 8h and 10h. At 12h, 14h and 16h, the concentration of skim milk was 8%, 10%, 12%, 14% and 16%, respectively. The results showed that the optimal fermentation conditions for ACE inhibitory peptide produced by Lactobacillus bulgaricus LB6 were 4% inoculation, 13h in time, 42°C in temperature and 13% in skim milk. Under this condition, the ACE inhibition rate reached 76.50% and the OD value was 0.330. The titration acidity was 116.4°T, the pH was 4.62, and the sensory evaluation was 75 scores.

Vascular calcification (VC) is an urgent worldwide health issue with no available medical treatment. It is an active cell-driven process by osteogenic differentiation of vascular cells with complex mechanisms. The AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) serves as the master sensor of cellular energy status. Accumulating evidence reveals the vital role of AMPK in VC progression. AMPK is involved in VC in various ways, including inhibiting runt-related transcription factor 2 signaling pathways, triggering autophagy, attenuating endoplasmic reticulum stress and dynamic-related protein 1-mediated mitochondrial fission, and activating endothelial nitric oxide synthase. AMPK activators, like metformin, are associated with reduced calcification deposits in certain groups of patients, indicating that AMPK is a potential therapeutic target for VC.
