Graphene/metal oxide (rGO/MOx) heterostructures hold great promise for energy storage, yet a full understanding of their synthesis remains elusive. Herein, a general, efficient, and scalable synthesis strategy is designed for the preparation of various rGO/MOx heterostructure materials featuring robust interfacial interactions. The heterogeneous nucleation growth mechanism of metal oxides on graphene is elucidated through ex situ characterization and theoretical simulation. The surface of graphene oxide (GO) is enriched with reactive oxygen‐containing functional groups, serving as potent nucleation sites that facilitate the rapid and heterogeneous nucleation of MOx grains. Simultaneously, a stable interface (C−O−M bond) is in situ formed between graphene and adsorbed metal ions during heat treatment, producing rGO/MOx heterostructure materials. Notably, the resultant rGO/CoO heterostructure material is employed as an anode and LiCoO2 as a cathode to assemble a soft packaging quasi‐solid‐state battery, which has demonstrated an impressive energy density of 341.4 Wh kg−1 and maintains outstanding capacity retention at 93.4% after 300 cycles at a 1C current. The development of heterogeneous Fenton catalysts with good performance and stability is a challenge in the field of wastewater treatment. In this work, MgAlFe hydrotalcite-like compounds (MgAlFe-HTLcs) were prepared by solid phase reaction at room temperature and modified via a hydrothermal process. The experimental results showed that MgAlFe-HTLcs had a good layered structure with the same proportion of iron and aluminium, 18 h of crystallisation time and 110°C of crystallisation temperature and the lamellar structure was more uniform by solid grinding. Furthermore, the addition of iron can activate H2O2 more effectively to generate active oxygen which is •OH. The degradation experiments demonstrated that nearly 99.0% degradation efficiency was achieved for 10 mg/L Malachite Green (MG) solution within 60 min at the conditions of 0.10 g·L−1 MgAlFe-HTLcs, 0.10 mol·L-1 H2O2 and a natural pH of 6.3. Total organic carbon (TOC) removal reached 72.2% in a 70 min reaction. BET and XRD were measured to further discuss the stability and durability. BACKGROUND: Porcupine quills, a by‐product of porcupine pork, are rich in keratin, which is an excellent source of bioactive peptides. The objective of this study was to investigate the underlying mechanism of anti‐proliferation effect of porcupine quills keratin peptides (PQKPs) on MCF‐7 cells. RESULTS: Results showed that PQKPs induced MCF‐7 cells apoptosis by significantly decreasing the secretion level of anti‐apoptosis protein Bcl‐2 and increasing the secretion levels of pro‐apoptosis proteins Bax, cytochrome c, caspase 9, caspase 3 and PARP. PQKPs also arrested the cell cycle at G0/G1 phase via remarkably reducing the protein levels of CDK4 and enhancing the protein levels of p53 and p21. High‐performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC–MS/MS) analysis identified nine peptides with molecular weights less than 1000 Da in PQKPs. Molecular docking results showed that TPGPPT and KGPAC identified from PQKPs could bind with p53 mutant and Bcl‐2 protein by conventional hydrogen bonds, carbon hydrogen bonds and van der Waals force. Furthermore, the anti‐proliferation impact of synthesized peptides (TPGPPT and KGPAC) was shown in MCF‐7 cells. CONCLUSION: These findings indicated that PQKPs suppressed the proliferation of MCF‐7 breast cancer cells by triggering apoptosis and G0/G1 cell cycle arrest. Preharvest threshing is a harvesting method that focuses on collecting rice grains while leaving the rice straw unharvested. Investigating the interaction mechanism between the machine and rice during the operation process and its correlation with harvest losses is crucial for enhancing harvest quality. In this study, structural design and operational mechanism analysis of the combs was conducted through theoretical analysis. By extracting the relevant parameters of rice plants, a model of entire-plant rice during the harvesting period was established based on the discrete element method (DEM). Numerical simulation studies were conducted to clarify the interaction mechanism between the machinery and rice at different operating stages and under various operating parameters, as well as the impact of this interaction on operational quality. The simulation results revealed that various operating parameters had a significant impact on the sliding-cut effect between the combs and rice. A higher cylinder rotation speed enhanced the effect, whereas increased forward velocity hampered it. Additionally, the effect initially improved and then decreased with a higher threshing height. In the bench test, high-speed cameras were used to verify and further analyze the comb–rice interaction mechanism and explore the optimal working parameter combination. The results showed that at a rotation speed of 616 r/min, a forward velocity of 0.91 m/s, and a threshing height of 792 mm, the grain loss rate was 1.997%, and the impurity rate was 4.073%. In order to solve the problems of poor hole-filling performance and the high seed-breakage rate of conventional rice bud seed precision hole direct seed-metering devices, a side-filled rice precision hole direct seed-metering device was developed, and the mechanism and force analyses for seeding operations were carried out. The key factors affecting seeding quality were determined: rotation speed, seeding angle and seeding height. By coupling the discrete element method (DEM) and multi-rigid body dynamics (MBD), the seed breakage rate and seeding performance at different rotation speeds were analyzed. Single-factor bench testing was used to analyze the effect of a duckbill unit on seeding performance under different factor levels. The three-factor and five-level quadratic regression orthogonal rotation center combination test methods were used to obtain the optimal working parameter combination. The test results showed that when the rotation speed was 47 r/min, the seeding angle was 19°, and the seeding height was 180 mm, the qualified index of seeding was 92.03%, the hole diameter qualified index was 91.62%, and the hole distance variation index was 7.17%. Pyroelectric materials, are those materials with the property that in the absence of any externally applied electric field, develop a built-in spontaneous polarization in their unit cell structure. They are regarded as ideal detector elements for infrared applications because they can provide fast response time and uniform sensitivity at room temperature over all wavelengths. Crystals of the perovskite Lead Titanate (PbTi O 3 ) family show pyroelectric characteristics and undergo structural phase transitions. They have a high Curie temperature (the temperature at which the material changes from the ferroelectric (polar) to the paraelectric (nonpolar) phase), high pyroelectric coefficient, high spontaneous polarization, low dielectric constant, and constitute important component materials not only useful for infrared detection, but also with vast applications in electronic, optic, and Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) devices. However, the preparation of large perfect, and pure single crystals of PbTi O 3 is challenging. Additionally, difficulties arise in the application of such bulk crystals in terms of connection to processing circuits, large size, and high voltages required for their operation. A number of thin film fabrication techniques have been proposed to overcome these inadequacies, among which, magnetron sputtering has demonstrated many potentials. By addressing these aspects, the review article aims to contribute to the understanding of the challenges in the field of pyroelectric materials, highlight potential solutions, and showcase the advancements and potentials of pyroelectric perovskite series including PbZrTiO3 (PZT), P b x C a 1 − x (PZN-PT), etc. for which PbTi O 3 is the end member. The review is presented in two parts. Part 1 focuses on material aspects, including preparation methods using magnetron sputtering and material characterization. We take a tutorial approach to discuss the progress made in epitaxial growth of lead titanate-based ceramics prepared by magnetron sputtering and examine how processing conditions may affect the crystalline quality of the growing film by linking to the properties of the substrate/buffer layer, growth substrate temperature, and the oxygen partial pressure in the gas mixture. Careful control and optimization of these parameters are crucial for achieving high-quality thin films with desired structural and morphological characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Lignin‐derived porous carbon (LPC) shows great potential as electrode material for supercapacitors. However, precise control over the pore structure during the conventional carbonization–activation process remains challenging. Here, a molecular‐level strategy to tailor the pore structure through tuning inter‐/intra‐molecular bonding of lignin in a pre‐carbonization process is shown. Based on operando pyrolysis analysis, a molecular evolution model is proposed to elucidate the relationship between pre‐carbonization and the resulting porosity of LPC. Lignin undergoes a condensation process with an increase of sp2‐hybridized carbon bonding during pre‐carbonization, causing the extension of polycyclic aromatic structure and leading to an increased mesopore volume in the final porous carbon. The variation in the content ratio of sp2‐ and sp3‐hybridized carbon bonding provides insights into the spatial structure evolution of pre‐carbonized lignin, which correlates well with changes in the porous structure of LPC. The LPCs show ultrahigh specific surface area up to 3219 m2 g−1 and tailored meso‐/micropore distribution. The lithium‐ion capacitor full‐cell tests demonstrate the great potential of LPCs in energy storage applications with superior energy density and power density. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between COL6A5 (collagen type VI alpha 5 chain) and LOC102181374 (alcohol dehydrogenase 1) genes and the production performance of Liaoning cashmere goats by single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). We have searched for SNP loci of COL6A5 and LOC102181374 genes through sequence alignment and PCR experiments, and have used SPSS and SHEsis software to analyze production data. We obtained five SNP loci in total, including three SNP loci (G50985A, G51140T, G51175A) in COL6A5 gene and two SNP loci (A10067G, T10108C) in LOC102181374 gene. The genotypes G50985A (AG), G51140T (GT), G51175A (AA), A10067G (AA), and T10108C (CC) of these loci have certain advantages in improving the production performance of Liaoning cashmere goats. The haplotype combinations that can improve production performance in COL6A5 gene were H1H5:AGGGAG, H4H4:GGGGAA, and H4H4:GGGGAA. H3H3:GGCC and H2H4:AGTT were the dominant combinations in LOC102181374 gene. At G51175A and A10067G loci, we found that H1H2:AAAG and H1H3:AGAA have dominant effects. Liaoning cashmere goat (LCG) is one of the excellent cashmere goat breeds in China. Because of its larger size, better cashmere, and better cashmere production performance, people pay special attention to it. This article mainly studied the relationship between SNP loci of LIPE gene and ITGB4 gene and milk production, cashmere production and body measurement traits of LCGs. We further identified potential SNP loci by PCR-Seq polymorphism detection and gene sequence comparison of LIPE and ITGB4 genes. Further, we use SPSS and SHEsis software to analyze their relationship to production performance. The consequence indicated that CC genotype of LIPE gene T16409C locus was dominant genotype in milk production and cashmere production, while CT genotype of LIPE gene T16409C locus was dominant in body size. The CT genotype of C168T locus of ITGB4 gene is the dominant genotype of body type and cashmere production, while the dominant genotype of milk production is TT genotype. Through joint analysis, in haploid combinations, H1H2:CCCT is the dominant haplotype combination in cashmere fineness. H3H4:TTCT is a dominant haplotype combination of milk production traits and body measurement traits. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the polymorphism of bile acid-CoA: amino acid N-acyltransferase (BAAT) and collagen type I alpha 1 chain (COL1A1) genes and the production performance of Liaoning Cashmere goat (LCG). The potential single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of LCG were detected by sequence comparison of BAAT and COL1A1 genes and PCR-Seq polymorphism, and the effect of SNPs on production performance was analyzed by SPSS software. The results showed that three SNPs loci were detected in BAAT gene: G7900A, T7967C, C7998T, and one SNP locus T6716C was detected in COL1AL gene. At G7900A locus, the dominant genotype for cashmere performance was GG, and the dominant genotype for body measurement traits and milk production traits was AG. At T7967C locus, the dominant genotype for cashmere performance was TT, and the dominant genotype for body measurement traits and milk production traits was CC. At C7998T locus, TT was the dominant genotype for cashmere performance, body measurement traits, and milk production traits. At the T6716C locus, TT was the dominant genotype for cashmere performance, body measurement traits, and milk production traits. H1H1: AACC is the dominant haplotype combination. Therefore, this study will provide a reliable reference for future research on cashmere production performance, body measurement traits, and milk production traits of LCG. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
