Abstract

The use of the scanning electrochemical microscope (SECM) to probe the kinetics of charge-transfer processes at bilayer lipid membranes (BLM) is presented. Analysis of the SECM tip response demonstrates that an unmodified BLM behaves as an insulator, whereas a BLM doped with iodine shows some positive feedback. The SECM technique thus allows one to probe processes at BLM and determine the kinetics of the charge-transfer process. The SECM can also be used to determine the shape of the BLM.

Abstract

To improve the efficiencies and benefits of distribution network investments, a investment allocation method of distribution network based on big data is proposed in this paper. Firstly, considering the corporate responsibility, user perception and power grid development demands, the index systems for power grid development level and investment direction are established, and then the coupling relationship between these two index systems is calculated based on big data. Considering the differences in the current power grid development level, planning objectives and indexes of different regions, a correcting coefficient is proposed to modify the above model and the priorities of power grid investment directions are achieved eventually. The above model is further verified by the actual data of a region in Hebei province.

Abstract

In order to cope with the widespread access of distributed generation (DG) in distribution network and demand response(DR), a substation optimal planning method considering network load characteristics complementation is proposed in this paper. First, the DG output and the load timing demand response are taken into consideration for the reliability assessment of the cut of the net supply load(NSLC), and then the influence of DG output characteristics in different seasons, weather and the timing demand response characteristics of the different types load under working days and holidays on the NSLC are analyzed. Then, a substation planning model for NSLC and the demand response cost is constructed. Finally, weighted Voronoi diagram method considering the net supply load reduction is used to solve the substation planning model, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by an example.

Abstract

This study was designed to compare robot-assisted gastrectomy with laparoscopy-assisted gastrectomy in surgical performance and short-term clinical outcomes for gastric cancer and evaluate the safety and feasibility of robotic surgery. A retrospective database of patients who underwent robotic or laparoscopic gastrectomy for gastric cancer between March 2010 and May 2013 was examined. After screening, 514 patients who underwent gastrectomy for gastric cancer were enrolled in this study: 120 robotic and 394 laparoscopic surgery. Patient demographics, surgical performance, and short-term clinical outcomes were examined. All operations were performed successfully. The clinicopathologic characteristics were similar between the two groups.
