Abstract

In view of the increasing number of power grid reserve projects, how to reasonably evaluate power grid reserve projects and formulate power grid reserve project management mechanisms is of great significance for improving project management levels, optimizing resource allocation, and realizing the sustainable development of power grid enterprises. This paper proposes an evaluation method for power grid reserve projects based on the matter-element model. First, considering the influence factors of technology, economy, environment, etc., this paper constructs an evaluation index system for reserve projects considering policy, safety, and benefits; The method of weighting determines the index weight, and evaluates the project in combination with the matter-element model, laying a foundation for the research of the project reserve mechanism, and finally uses examples to verify the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract

As a unique cultural carrier, clothing always reflects people's way of life and aesthetic concepts. With the continuous development of global economic integration and the mutual integration of multiculturalism, people's aesthetic needs for clothing are becoming increasingly diversified. The painting process of Jackson Pollock's "drip painting" is carried out in an unconscious mental state, which is very subjective and random. It uses a combination of lines, colors, and shapes to portray nature in his imagination. At the same time, he also pays great attention to applying comprehensive materials. His creative idea can also be used in clothing, which can enrich the artistic language of clothing and improve the artistry of clothing. This study applies acrylic and colors hot melt adhesive to clothing fabric in a way similar to Pollock's "drip painting" through practical research to test its fluidity and coloring effect on the fabric and the layering of lines. The experimental results conclude that the adaptability of hot melt adhesive stick and canvas fabric is very high, and its fluidity and stability can confirm the feasibility of applying it to clothing design. However, the performance effect of acrylic pigment in this practical research is not ideal. 197. Classification of COVID-19 by Compressed Chest CT Image through Deep Learning on a Large Patients Cohort

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has spread globally quickly, and has resulted in a large number of causalities and medical resources insufficiency in many countries. Reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing is adopted as biopsy tool for confirmation of virus infection. However, its accuracy is as low as 60-70%, which is inefficient to uncover the infected. In comparison, the chest CT has been considered as the prior choice in diagnosis and monitoring progress of COVID-19 infection. Although the COVID-19 diagnostic systems based on artificial intelligence have been developed for assisting doctors in diagnosis, the small sample size and the excessive time consumption limit their applications. To this end, this paper proposed a diagnosis prototype system for COVID-19 infection testing. The proposed deep learning model is trained and is tested on 2267 CT sequences from 1357 patients clinically confirmed with COVID-19 and 1235 CT sequences from non-infected people. The main highlights of the prototype system are: (1) no data augmentation is needed to accurately discriminate the COVID-19 from normal controls with the specificity of 0.92 and sensitivity of 0.93; (2) the raw DICOM image is not necessary in testing. Highly compressed image like Jpeg can be used to allow a quick diagnosis; and (3) it discriminates the virus infection within 6 seconds and thus allows an online test with light cost. We also applied our model on 48 asymptomatic patients diagnosed with COVID-19. We found that: (1) the positive rate of RT-PCR assay is 63.5% (687/1082). (2) 45.8% (22/48) of the RT-PCR assay is negative for asymptomatic patients, yet the accuracy of CT scans is 95.8%. The online detection system is available: http://212.64.70.65/covid.

Abstract

Precise replacement of an allele with an elite allele controlling an important agronomic trait in a predefined manner by gene editing technologies is highly desirable in crop improvement. Base editing and prime editing are two newly developed precision gene editing systems which can introduce the substitution of a single base and install the desired short indels to the target loci in the absence of double‐strand breaks and donor repair templates, respectively. Since their discoveries, various strategies have been attempted to optimize both base editor (BE) and prime editor (PE) in order to improve the precise editing efficacy, specificity, and expand the targeting scopes. Here, we summarize the latest development of various BEs and PEs, as well as their applications in plants. Based on these progresses, we recommend the appropriate BEs and PEs for both basic plant research and crop improvement. Moreover, we propose the perspectives for further optimization of these two editors. We envision that both BEs and PEs will become the routine and customized precise gene editing tools for both plant biological research and crop improvement in the near future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
