The temperature in concrete is a main factor influencing concrete carbonization, chloride diffusion and the corrosion rate of steel bars in the concrete. To predict the temperature response in concrete in a natural climate environment, the experiments for temperature response in concrete under artificial and natural climate environment conditions were carried out. The results indicate that the temperature responses in concrete show obvious hysteresis characteristics. A prediction model for temperature response in concrete was presented based on the behavior of the concrete's thermal conduction. Then, a method for processing the climate temperature data was devised using the mathematical principle of extreme difference dissection, through which a temperature action spectrum can be formed. In view of the above mentioned studies, the corresponding temperature response in the concrete could be predicted. Comparisons were carried out between the prediction and the measurement of the temperature responses and the result showed that they were consistent.

Representing the relationships between ontologies is the key problem of semantic annotations based on multi-ontologies. Traditional approaches only had the ability of denoting the simple concept subsumption relations between ontologies. Through analyzing and classifying the relationships between ontologies, the idea of bridge ontology was proposed, which had the powerful capability of expressing the complex relationships between concepts and relationships between relations in multi-ontologies. Meanwhile, a new approach employing bridge ontology was proposed to deal with the multi-ontologies-based semantic annotation problem. The bridge ontology is a peculiar ontology, which can be created and maintained conveniently, and is effective in the multi-ontologies-based semantic annotation. The approach using bridge ontology has the advantages of low-cost, scalable, robust in the web circumstance, and avoiding the unnecessary ontology extending and integration.

Dirac Fermion, as one of the basic particles in the particle physics, nowadays have been widely used to describe the electronic states with the behavior of Dirac fermion in the topological electronics. These exotic electronic states are called Dirac point, which exhibited as a linear crossing point in the band structure. Usually Dirac point is the topological phase transition point and thus viewed as the mother state of various topological states. As an analogue of topological electronics, topological photonics, also attracted a great deal of interest due to its potential application. One of the key topic in topological photonics is to realize photonic bands with Dirac point. In this review, we briefly introduce the progress of Dirac point in the photonic system and focus on the realization method of Dirac point in photonic crystal by take advantage of lattice symmetry. We also discuss Weyl point in the photonic crystal as an extension of the Dirac point.

C60 single crystals grown by a single-temperature-gradient technique were characterized by synchrotron radiation white beam x-ray topography and x-ray double crystal diffraction with Cu Kα1 radiation on conventional x-ray source. The results show that the crystal is rather well crystallized. The x-ray topographies give an evidence of dendritic growth mechanism of C60 single crystal, and x-ray double crystal diffraction rocking curve shows that there are mosaic structural defects in the sample. A phase transition at 249±1.5 K from a simple cubic to a face centered cubic structure is confirmed by in situ observation of synchrotron radiation white beam x-ray topography with the temperature varing from 230 to 295 K.

It is found that all the {\em singlet orbital pairing} instabilities are {\em absent} in a class of spin-polarized multi-orbital systems with quadratic band touching, which opens the way for {\em triplet orbital pairing} order. The ground states are found to be {\em non-Abelian} states with p-wave orbital pairing in checkerboard (away from 1/2 filling) and kagome (above 1/3 filling) lattices with {\em isotropic} attractive interaction which can be realized in ultracold multi-orbital optical lattices. The special property of such systems is generalized to more classes of multi-orbital systems, where the fully-gapped {\em non-Abelian} states are possibly the ground states. One-way Street of city is described as a strongly connected directed graph. Mathematical model is established by using related theory of strongly connected directed graph. The two algorithms are proposed, one is for solving the shortest distance between any two nodes in a strongly connected graph, and another is for computing the length of a minimal oriented H cycle based on improved genetic algorithm. Experimental results show the two algorithms are feasible and effective.
