La Chine de la première moitié du 20ème siècle a connu de nombreux bouleversements dont la fin des dynasties, les mouvements pour la république, les Seigneurs de guerre, de multiples invasions ? Elle a aussi vu son milieu culturel et académique s'épanouir. Pendant cette période, la sociologie chinoise contemporaine a pris forme, s'est développée, et a exercé une influence non négligeable dans le monde intellectuel. La variété des approches et la qualité des recherches en sociologie ont atteint un niveau remarquable. Les travaux réalisés durant cette période constituent un héritage précieux et une base solide et incontournable pour les recherches contemporaines en la matière. Après l'arrêt de toute recherche sociologique pendant presque 30 ans (les années 50?80), il est important et intéressant de faire connaître les chercheurs qui ont bâti la sociologie chinoise d'aujourd'hui, ainsi que leurs travaux, aux étudiants et chercheurs de nos jours.

Angiotensin receptor blockers have been reported to be beneficial to liver fibrosis, but the relevant molecular and cellular mechanisms remain unclear. We herein investigated whether low-dose angiotensin receptor blocker alleviated liver fibrosis through mechanotransduction regulation. Hydrostatic pressure-induced liver fibrosis model was established in mice by ligating partially the inferior vena cava, and then randomly received a very low dose of losartan (0.5 mg/kg) or placebo treatment for 8 weeks. We found that losartan administration interfered the expression of several mechanotransductive molecules, and effectively alleviated liver fibrosis. Using a commercial device, we further confirmed that ex vivo loading of hepatic stellate cells to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure for 24 h significantly upregulated RhoA, ROCK, AT1R, and p-MLC2, which was effectively attenuated by adding 10 nM losartan in medium. Our in vivo and ex vivo experimental data suggest that low-dose angiotensin receptor blockers may alleviate hydrostatic pressure-induced liver fibrosis by altering the mechanotransduction properties of hepatic stellate cells. NEW & NOTEWORTHY Our ex vivo and in vivo experiments clearly indicated that low-dose losartan alleviated liver fibrosis, likely by modulating the mechanotransduction properties of HSCs. The threat of global climate change has caused the international community to pay close attention to atmospheric levels of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. Transportation sector carbon dioxide emissions efficiency (TSCDEE) is a key indicator used to prioritize sustainable development in the transportation sector. In this paper, the epsilon-based measure data envelopment analysis model with undesirable outputs is applied to estimate TSCDEE for 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2016. We also analyze influencing factors using the spatial Durbin model. Research shows that the overall TSCDEE of the Chinese provinces studied was 0.618, indicating that most regions are still in need of improvements. The provinces with the highest TSCDEE are located in developed coastal regions of China. This study shows that factors such as transportation structure, traffic infrastructure level, and technological progress have prominent positive effects on TSCDEE, while both urbanization level and urban population density exert significantly negative effects on TSCDEE.
