Uvalde Tragedy has shaken the United States which took place on the premise of Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022. 21 people, including 19 children and 2 high school teachers, lost their lives in the incident. The children were the first-hand victims of this shooting violence. Few studies have explored the mental trauma of the victims. This study conducted qualitative research followed by a purposive sampling method. Ten children were selected directly affected by shooting. This research features an in-depth interview of the children elaborating their psychological trauma in the aftermath of the incident along with the expressions of their parents. The result showed the participants experiencing a variety of traumas such as stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
