Exercise could delay the degeneration process by increasing Klotho, which is an endogen antioxidant. Klotho protects against oxidative damages, regulates hippocampal synaptic plasticity, and enhances GluN2B expression. This study aimed to analyze the effect of 14-day and 8-week moderate-intensity exercise on Klotho and GluN2B mRNA expressions in rat hippocampus. This study was an animal experimental study using Wistar rats that was performed from June to September 2019 at the Central Laboratory, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. Rats were divided into 4 groups: control (14-day control and 8-week control) and exercise group (14-day exercise and 8-week exercise). The exercise groups ran at a moderate intensity (20m/min) for 30min/day, 5x/week. Hippocampus was then subjected to klotho and GluN2B gene expression analysis. The exercise groups showed a higher Klotho expression, both in 14 days (0.844±0.124 vs. 1.057±0.013) and 8 weeks (0.897±0.072 vs. 1.380±0.168) although statistically insignificant (p=0.24). No difference in GluN2B gene expression was observed between control and exercise groups on 14 days (1±0.09 vs. 1.22±0.09) and 8 weeks (1.24±0.03 vs. 1.38±0.05; p=0.11). In conclusion, 14-day and 8-week moderate-intensity exercise did not alter Klotho and GluN2B expressions in rat hippocampus.

BACKGROUND: Ethionamide usage as one of the drug regimens still becomes a challenge due to high numbers of patients developing hypothyroid. Ethionamide had been associated with the inhibition of thyroid hormone (TH) synthesis and interestingly, ethionamide (C8H10N2S)-induced hypothyroidism is supported by its similar structure with thioamides, propythiouracil (C7H8N2S). However, hypothyroidism is not solely caused by its production, it could be caused by signaling alteration. Therefore, knowing that important TH action is determined via genomic pathway, alteration of this receptor could bring serious clinical problem. Unfortunately, there is limited study about the regulation of ethionamide and its connection on TH genomic signaling especially thyroid hormone receptor (TR) gene expression in soleus, gastrocnemius and cardiac muscle. METHODS: Thirty-eight rats were divided into control, ethionamide and propylthiouracyl groups. After 12-week treatment, rat were sacrificed, then gastrocnemius, soleus and cardiac muscles were dissected out, snap freezed using liquid nitrogen, and stored in -80oC until use. RNA was extracted and run for reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). RESULTS: In soleus muscle, ethionamide stimulated TR mRNA expressions and deiodinase compared to control group. In contrast, TRα1 gene expression was not affected by ethionamide administration. In gastrocnemius muscle, only TRβ1 gene and Dio2 gene expressions that were significantly increased compared to control group. In cardiac muscle, ethionamide significantly stimulated all the thyroid hormone receptor isoform and iodothyronine deiodinase gene expression compared to the control group. CONCLUSION: Long ethionamide treatment upregulates TR gene expressions and deiodinase in soleus and cardiac muscle, there is different expression pattern of soleus, gastrocnemius and cardiac muscle after ethionamide stimulation. This study aims to arrange the pattern of corporate performance after mergers and acquisitions that cover the performance outcomes for 12 years. Another objective is to analyze the determinants of company performance outcomes after mergers andacquisitions. The research was conducted at the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2003 to 2014. The results show that the company performance in the first until the third year is below the average performance before the mergers and acquisitions happened. Entering the fourth year the company performance improved above the performance before mergers and acquisitions and had it peaked in the eleventh year, after which it declined. High profitability is the main target that companies must achieve after mergers and acquisitions. The result of the analysis shows that the return on investment positively influenced by total asset turnover and the increase of exchange rate, and negatively related to leverage and BI Rate. The company will achieve a higher total asset turnover if institutional investors own most of its shares. Firms with larger board size and institutional ownership have higher leverage. Abstrak.Penelitian ini bertujuan, pertama: untuk menyusun pola kinerja perusahaan setelah merger dan akuisisi yang menjangkau capaian kinerja untuk jangka waktu 12 tahun; kedua: untuk menganalisis faktor determinan capaian kinerja perusahaan setelah merger dan akuisisi. Penelitian dilakukan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2003-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja perusahaan pada tahun pertama sampai tahun ketiga berada di bawah rata-rata capaian kinerja sebelum merger dan akuisisi. Memasuki tahun keempat kinerja perusahaan meningkat di atas kinerja sebelum merger dan akuisisi, dan mencapai puncaknya pada tahun kesebelas, setelah itu mengalami penurunan. Profitabilitas yang tinggi merupakan target utama yang harus dicapai perusahaan setelah merger dan akuisisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa return on invesment dipengaruhi secara positif oleh total asset turn over dan kenaikkan Kurs. Return on invesment berhubungan negatif dengan leverage dan BI Rate. Total asset turn over akan lebih tinggi dicapai perusahaan apabila sebagian besar sahamnya dimiliki investor institusi. Perusahaan-perusahaan dengan board size dan institutional ownersip yang lebih besar memiliki leverage yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract. Over the past few years, Islamic banking has continued to experience weakening growth in collecting Funding. So we need to know the determinants that are very influential in the growth of Funding. The purpose of this study is to find out the external factors in the form of macroeconomic indicators that can influence the growth of Islamic Banking Third Party Funds in Indonesia. Hypothesis testing of this study using analysis with the Multiple Linear Regression model. The results of this study indicate that the Rupiah Exchange Rate, BI Rate, Gross Domestic Product, and the Composite Stock Price Index have a significant effect on Funding. Besides, simultaneous macroeconomic factors significantly influence Funding. Abstrak. Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, perbankan syariah terus mengalami pelemahan pertumbuhan dalam menghimpun Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK). Sehingga perlu diketahui faktor penentu yang sangat berpengaruh dalam pertumbuhan Dana Pihak Ketiga.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor eksternal berupa indikator makroekonomi apa yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan Dana Pihak Ketiga perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dengan model Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil peneltian ini menunjukkan bahwa Nilai Tukar Rupiah, BI Rate, Produk Domestik Bruto, dan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap DPK. Selain itu, secara simultan faktor makroekonomi signifikan mempengaruhi DPK.

Abstract. Sharia criteria companies are not permitted to have a ratio of total interest-based debt to total assets of more than 45%, and a ratio of total non-halal income to total income of more than 10%. Financial literature and research results to date have yet to agree on the relationship between capital structure and firms performance. This research was conducted at Sharia criteria manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2017. This study uses a balanced panel data that is analyzed by E-views software through the Random Effect Model. The results of the analysis prove that the capital structure (BLEV) has a positive effect on firm performance (TBNSQ and ROE). SIZE and AGE control variables are positively related to firm performance (TBNSQ and ROE). This research proves that liquidity (LIQ) has a positive relationship, and TANG shows a negative relationship with firm performance (TBNSQ and ROE). Abstrak.Perusahaan-perusahaan kriteria Syariah tidak diperkenankan memiliki rasio total utang berbasis bunga terhadap total aset lebih dari 45%, dan rasio total pendapatan tidak halal terhadap total pendapatan lebih dari 10%. Literatur keuangan dan hasil-hasil penelitian sampai saat ini belum sepakat tentang hubungan antara struktur modal dan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan-perusahaan manufaktur kriteria Syariah di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2011-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan balance panel data yang dianalisis dengan software E-views melalui Random Effect Model. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa struktur modal (BLEV) berpengaruh positif tehadap kinerja perusahaan (TBNSQ dan ROE). Variabel kontrol SIZE dan AGE berhubungan positif dengan kinerja perusahaan (TBNSQ dan ROE). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan membeli produk halal. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan data primer dengan cara menyebar angket kepada responden yang tersebar di Kota Bandung. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS dan dibantu software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko kesehatan dan risiko waktu secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan membeli produk halal. Sedangkan secara simultan diketahui bahwa seluruh variabel independen yaitu sebesar 39,3 persen dapat menjelaskan keputusan membeli produk halal.

Subduction zones worldwide pose tsunami risks, mainly linked to megathrust activity near subduction trenches. However, tsunamis can originate from various sources, including marine volcanic eruptions, submarine landslides, and strike-slip earthquakes. In the Sumatra subduction zone, a seismic gap in the Mentawai region heightens the tsunami risk. This region’s tectonics are complex due to the oblique subduction of the India-Australia oceanic plate beneath the Eurasian continental plate, leading to the sliver faults system of Mentawai Fault Zone (MFZ) and Sumatra Fault Zone (SFZ). The SFZ on Sumatra Island has limited tsunami potential, except at its northern and southern offshore extensions. In contrast, the MFZ, situated in the marine Northern Bengkulu basin, holds a higher tsunami-generation potential. This study aims to assess the MFZ activity in generating tsunamis, estimate the maximum wave height, and analyze propagation, and arrival times at several crucial sites in Western Sumatra Province. We utilized the COMCOT tsunami model to simulate scenarios with two fault mechanisms, i.e., strike-slip and back thrust, and two magnitudes (Mw 7.6, and 8.2). The results indicate that the most hazardous tsunami, generated by a strike-slip fault with Mw 8.2, produces a 2-meter tsunami on the east coast of Siberut Island and the west coast of Padang City, West Sumatra. The scenarios reveal that Mentawai Island’s eastern part lacks evacuation time, with an almost instantaneous tsunami arrival. In contrast, western Sumatra, including Pariaman and Padang City, has 13 to 20 minutes for evacuation planning. Thus, disaster risk reduction strategies in these locations should consider these findings.

Handling of missing values in data analysis is the focus of attention in various research fields. Imputation is one method that is commonly used to overcome this problem of missing data. This systematic literature review research aims to present a comprehensive summary of the relevant scientific literature that describes the use of the imputation method in overcoming missing values. The literature search method is carried out using various academic databases and reliable sources of information. Relevant keywords are used to find articles that match the research question. After selection and evaluation, 40 relevant articles were included in this study. The findings of this study reveal a variety of imputation approaches and methods used in various research fields, such as social sciences, medicine, economics, and others. Commonly used imputation methods include single imputation, multivariate imputation, and model-based imputation methods. In addition, several studies also describe a combination of imputation methods to deal with more complex situations. The advantage of the imputation method is that it allows researchers to maintain sample sizes and minimize bias in data analysis. However, the research results also show that the imputation method must be applied with caution, because inappropriate imputation decisions can lead to biased results and can affect the accuracy of the research conclusions. In order to increase the validity and reliability of research results, researchers are expected to transparently report the imputation method used and describe the considerations made in the imputation decision-making process. This systematic review of the literature review provides an in-depth view of the use of the imputation method in handling missing values. In the face of the challenge of missing data, an understanding of the various imputation methods and the context in which they are applied will be key to generating meaningful findings in various research fields.

Shrimps are aquaculture products highly needed by the people and this is the reason their growth needs to be monitored using underwater digital images. However, the large dimensions of the shrimp digital images usually make the processing difficult. Therefore, this research focuses on reducing the dimensions of underwater shrimp digital images without reducing their information through the application of the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) algorithm. This was achieved using 4 digital shrimp images extracted from video data with the number of columns 398 for each image. The results showed that 12 PCs were produced and this means the reduced digital images with new dimensions have 12 variable columns with data diversity distributed based on a total variance of 95.61%. Moreover, the original and reduced digital images were compared and the lowest value of MSE produced was 94.12, the minimum value of RMSE was 9.54, and the highest value of PSNR was 8.06 db, and they were obtained in the 4th digital image. The experiment was conducted using 3 devices which include I3, I7, and Google Colab processor computers and the fastest computational result was produced at 2.1 seconds by the Google Colab processor. This means the PCA algorithm is good for the reduction of digital image dimensions as indicated by the production of 12 PC as the new variable dimensions for the reduced underwater image of shrimps.

Rice is one of the components of staple ingredients included in the issue of world food security in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. A large number of varieties of rice types allows deviations in the field by mixing good rice varieties with other varieties to increase profits. This problem causes consumers to experience economic losses; on the other hand, distinguishing rice varieties is difficult to do directly only through eyesight. This study tries to make an initial approach to get the similarity value of each rice-type texture. This study discusses the extraction of texture features in 3 rice varieties, including organic rice, Mentik Wangi, Rojo Lele, and Basmati India. The feature extraction method used is the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) for assessing the texture of an image variety of rice and evaluated with PSNR and MAE.

Nowadays, the use of renewable energy is growing and becoming a positive trend in the world. Wind energy being one of them. In the last few years, small power range capacity below 100 kW, being an option especially for small areas with low wind speeds. The application of PMSG-based wind turbines is becoming widespread among researchers because it has many advantages including high efficiency and low maintenance. In this study, the application of pmsg-based wind turbines is used for battery charging with the CCCV method. The charger will be tested with varying wind conditions.

Kitten Temperature Monitoring System Using a Thermal Camera with the IoT-Based Blynk Application is intended for kitten caregivers to be able to monitor in real time via a smartphone. An incubator is valuable when a kitten cannot maintain its body temperature within the normal range. The temperature measurement system uses the AMG8833 thermal camera, which can detect a kitten’s temperature based on the optimal distance (5-15 cm). Each detected temperature result will be displayed in digital form on the LCD20x4. The test was carried out by comparing the temperature detection performance of the AMG8833 thermal camera system that was tested with a standard infrared IR sensor. The test results show that this system has a difference between the AMG8833 thermal camera system tested and the standard IR sensor of 3.5 oC.

The common phenomena during liquefaction are the lateral displacement and settlement of saturated soil deposits. These phenomena have the potential damage to the toll road construction where this research is taking place. Toll road projects in Mungkid and Candimulyo Districts, Central Java, Indonesia must be evaluated for lateral displacement and settlement. The study area is located in volcanic deposits originating from Mount Merapi and Merbabu, with shallow groundwater level in some location, and a history big seismicity. PGA value at the research location was calculated using webpage application from Lini Binamarga. This study aims to calculate liquefaction severity using LSI method, lateral spreading using LDI method, and the ground settlement using reconsolidation settlement method with various moment magnitude scenarios. LSI in Candimulyo and Mungkid District are 17.77 (low severity) and 9.68 (very low severity), respectively. Candimulyo and Mungkid Districts experienced the greatest lateral spreading of 3.84 m and 1.87 m. Also, Candimulyo and Mungkid Districts have the largest settlement by 0.42 m in the extensive damage category and 0.15 m in the medium damage category. Based on this assessment, it is necessary to investigate the mitigation required to reduce lateral spreading and settlement caused by liquefaction.

A seismic event of magnitude 7.5 Mw took place in Central Sulawesi in September 2018, marking a significant occurrence in the geological hazard chronicles of Indonesia. The occurrence of liquefaction subsequent to the earthquake significantly damaged the water resource infrastructure in the Sigi Regency. This study aims to evaluate the possible soil displacement resulting from re-liquefaction events occurring in the main irrigation canals in the Jono Oge and Lolu regions. The study used semi-empirical and finite element analysis to compute the lateral displacement index and reconsolidation settlement within the designated study region. The examination of soil displacement is conducted under various groundwater level scenarios, utilizing the most recent soil investigation conducted in 2021. The findings of the study indicate that raising the groundwater level to -3.5 meters will result in significant soil and irrigation canal damage. In the future, it is suggested that limiting the groundwater level below -11 meters in the primary irrigation canal area might effectively mitigate soil lateral displacement and settlement.

The cost-effectiveness of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for non-cervical cancer including anogenital cancers and head and neck cancers has been evaluated in many countries. This is important for the decision-makers in health policy as they have a limited budget for an enormous option of health technology. The objective of this study is to systematically review the health economic studies in order to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of HPV vaccination for preventing non-cervical cancer including anogenital cancer and head and neck cancer. Approximately 496 articles were obtained from three databases (ProQuest: 430, Scopus: 40 and Pubmed: 29). The screening and selection of the literature was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement. The final articles were assessed by using the Consolidated Health Economics Evaluation Reporting Standards (CHEERS) checklist. Based on the review of fifteen articles, most articles concluded that HPV vaccination was cost-effective compared with current standard care. One study showed that HPV vaccination may be cost-effective if only the price is lowered. HPV vaccination is considerably a cost-effective solution to prevent non-cervical cancer based on the studies conducted in many countries particularly the ones with high income.

Biology Entrepreneurship Education has become a mandatory course that imparts a distinct characteristic to its graduates. There is an expectation that students will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and immediately establish businesses upon graduation. However, entrepreneurship education often leaves a gap between expectations and real-world outcomes. This research aims to elucidate reflections on the success of education on Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy. We conducted a case study involving students who have completed the biology entrepreneurship course. Twenty students were selected based on specific criteria for in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that all students reported an enhancement in Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy, including proficiency in business searching, business planning, business marshalling, and implementation. Additionally, it was observed that a substantial number of college graduates do not pursue entrepreneurship after graduation. Field findings reveal that graduates from entrepreneurial backgrounds are more likely to continue entrepreneurial ventures after graduation. Further research can be conducted to evaluate entrepreneurship education programs focusing on specific post-graduation achievements and the factors influencing graduates in pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours.

This study evaluates Kepulauan Riau-Indonesia's efforts to infuse international environmental norms into the curriculum of coastal schools, crucial due to their vulnerability to climate change. The study explores whether this integration not only heightens environmental awareness but also nurtures empathy among students, fostering care for their peers and society. A survey of 400 secondary education students in Kepulauan Riau was conducted, gauging attitudes toward environmental issues and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). The research aimed to assess the impact of the integrated curriculum on students' values and perceptions of others in the realm of environmental concerns. DiD analysis and ANCOVA revealed a significant link between the integrated curriculum and positive student values. Environmental education not only enhanced environmental awareness but also fostered empathy and care for peers and society. The integration of environmental education and GESI principles transformed students into socially responsible individuals, nurturing a sense of community. Educational institutions embracing environmental values play a transformative role. Schools integrating environmental education and GESI principles cultivate values transcending self-interest, fostering genuine empathy and care. This integration not only shapes environmentally conscious citizens but also nurtures a society characterized by compassion and solidarity, emphasizing the critical role of education in fostering social and environmental responsibility.

This paper explains five essential aspects related to the development of Blue Economy. The study delves into the dynamic realm of the blue economy, where marine resources and activities hold immense potential for ASEAN sustainable development. Through the lens of five essential questions, this study navigates the uncharted waters of economic, environmental, political, legal, and socio-cultural facets inherent to this burgeoning domain by reviewing 35 related literatures on blue economy discourses. By addressing these pivotal questions, we navigate towards a horizon of findings and review results where the blue economy emerges as an emblem of prosperity, ecological stewardship, and a harmonious ASEAN community poised for a sustainable future.

Justice Collaborator aims to facilitate evidence and prosecution as well as fully reveal a crime, especially those related to organized crime. However, not everyone who commits a crime as a perpetrator wants to become a justice collaborator for various reasons, including a lack of legal protection. The formulation of the problem is 1. What is the legal protection for justice collaborators in narcotics crimes so far? 2. What is the ideal concept of legal protection for justice collaborators in the criminal justice process, especially narcotics, in the future? This research uses a type of normative research with statutory, comparative and conceptual approaches. The research results show that in Indonesia, only a few perpetrators of narcotics crimes are willing to become justice collaborators, one of the reasons is the lack of legal protection. The ideal concept of legal protection for justice collaborators in the criminal justice process, especially narcotics, in the future is carried out by reconstructing regulations regarding justice collaborators. Reconstruction can be carried out using two alternatives, namely: reconstructing the Witness and Victim Protection Law, or creating separate regulations regarding justice collaborators in the form of a law.

A popular beverage globally attributable to its energizing properties and distinctive flavor, coffee is one of the majorly produced agricultural merchandise. With the reputation, nonetheless, comes a sizeable waste in its production process. Reduce, reuse, recycle, and improve circular economy —coffee pulp and husk waste into functional food, i.e., coffee cherry flour. This study examined the amino acid composition and contents originating from four locations: Ijen Farm, Karang Ploso Farm, Mengani Farm, and La Boitê. In triplication, samples were filtrated, derivated, and analyzed through high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. The obtained data were then computed to determine the amino acid retention times and peak areas to facilitate the quantification of amino acid concentrations within the samples. ANOVA was involved in evaluating the significance of amino acid level variations, and then nonparametric correlation and cluster tests were conducted for a dendrogram presentation. The result stated that Serine, Histidine, Threonine, Alanine, Cysteine, Methionine, and Isoleucine are positively correlated to the area characteristics, while Aspartic acid, Glutamic acid, Glycine, Arginine, Proline, Tyrosine, Valine, Lysine, Leucine, and Phenylalanine are of negative association. This finding suggests that locally-grown coffee cherry flour should be feasible for functional food beneficial to health.

Supplier selection is very important in ensuring supply chain activities can run well. This study aims to determine the factors that are taken into consideration in supplier selection, as well as the effectiveness of following the procurement process through the e-procurement system with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in mining contractor companies. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire to 25 worker respondents. The data processing method with the AHP method is to calculate the matrix consistency ratio and the hierarchy consistency ratio. This research is focused on suppliers of Information Technology product providers by considering 4 supplier criteria factors, namely price, quality, delivery time and warranty. The AHP analysis that has been carried out is then applied to the E-Procurement system. The AHP analysis produces a weighting value for each criterion with the criteria codes K1, K2, K3 and K4. This weighting value will be applied in the E-procurement system to determine the best supplier. From the results of E-procurement there are 4 suppliers involved in this selection that match the 4 criteria factors. For the level of effectiveness of the application of goods procurement through the e-procurement process and AHP in mining contractor companies, it is very good so that from this process we can find out the best suppliers and deserve to be suppliers. The results obtained from the four suppliers who have the best criteria based on all criteria with a value of 1.001.

The aim of this study is to explore the influence of the two types of e-WOM, out-of-group (influencer marketing and customer review) and in-group (reference group). This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were obtained from 176 respondents who are familiar and active in online shopping in Indonesia. The results of this study found that both out-of-group and in-group source of e-WOM have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. The customer review variable has the highest R2 value, namely 0.741, which means that customer reviews can influence the purchase decision variable by 74.1%. So, it can be concluded that online consumer decisions are more influenced by out-of-group information sources (reviews from other customers) than information from family and friends. Although there have been several past studies, they have been inconsistent and lacking in clarity. Hence, this study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding which form of electronic word of mouth has the biggest influence on purchasing decisions.

In Indonesia's liquefaction history, the province of Central Sulawesi was severely affected in several locations when a 7.5 Mw earthquake occurred in September 2018. This study aims to evaluate the liquefaction potential and generate the liquefaction hazard map in the reconstruction project of the Gumbasa Irrigation Canals passed through Jono Oge Village and Lolu Village, closely related to the liquefaction event in the Sigi Regency area. Using the simplified procedure method by Idriss and Boulanger, the Liquefaction Factor of Safety (FOS) was calculated for each layer of soil from thirteen (13) locations of soil investigation test at the end of 2021 by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. Furthermore, it was followed by calculating the Liquefaction Potential Index (LPI) and Liquefaction Severity Index (LSI). The analysis results show that the construction work area has the liquefaction potential with the observed groundwater level. It is mapped on irrigation canals along the Jono Oge Village and Lolu Village to know the critical segment of the irrigation project. Hereafter, an irrigation canal segment named BGKN-45 to BGKN-46 in Jono Oge required a specific mitigation plan to prevent damage from liquefaction in the future.

Building structures located on slopes behave differently than structures located on flat ground because of the different levels of stepped floors made to overcome the slope of the land, resulting in several layers of basements. Also, due to the existence of these steps and the difference in soil level, a retaining wall is often made to hold the soil. The forces acting on the structure consist of those acting on the structure and those acting on the retaining walls, both against gravity loads and against earthquake loads. Often, there is an avalanche force due to the stability of the slopes. The main objective of this research is to: evaluate the distribution of story-shear forces based on a static and dynamic analysis of building structures. This paper discusses the structure of a seven-story building with stepped floors, which is then used to calculate a similar structure with 14 levels. In this case study, the load due to lateral earth pressure is calculated separately from the building structure with the assumption that the retaining wall (soldier-pile) can carry the lateral earth pressure as well as overcome sliding due to slope stability. Therefore, the building structure can be designed separately without considering the presence of lateral forces due to differences in soil levels. In conclusion, the results of the static and dynamic analysis showed the distribution of the story-shear forces from the first to seventh floors as smaller than those of the eighth floor.

As the general consideration for infrastructure planning, it was required to consider preventing damages due to natural disasters, including liquefaction caused by an earthquake. Government policy on fulfilling the domestic component level assessment of goods and services has been issued. The minimum KDN level for the building was set at 40%. The success of local governments in implementing the KDN level refers to 40%. This study objective was only to evaluate the KDN level of architectural material of buildings in the Bogor district. A survey study did the data collection. Furthermore, the KDN level of 21 buildings that have been completed was assessed. Local governments are ready to support the implementation of the KDN level if the KDN level is higher than 40%. The assessed architectural material was KDN level based on certificates issued by PT Socofindo and the Indonesian Surveyor. The descriptive statistics used to determine the readiness of implementation KDN level were mean, minimum, and maximum values. The research results show that the architectural material KDN level for building implementation was above 40%. The average KDN level total was 65.60%, KDN level full range from 50.46 to 85.85%. The study results showed that the architectural material KDN level of building implementation surpassed 40%. This study obtained that the Government of Bogor Regency is ready to support green building implementation.

Drilled pile foundations that have been set in hard soil are generally used for buildings with shear walls. By nature, a drilled pile foundation can withstand moments because of the drilled pile’s dimensions and the amount of reinforcement installed. This study presents a structural analysis of a 10-story building supported by a dual system structure to meet earthquake requirements. The results show that, by using a dual system, the earthquake requirements (natural period, modal, story shear, story drift, and P-Delta) are met. Other results show that the base shear force of the shear wall has a value of 58.76% for the X-direction and 63.72% for the Y-direction. The base shear force value of the frame is 41.23% for the X-direction and 36.27% for the Y-direction. Therefore, the requirements of the dual system are met because the resisted base shear force of the frame is higher than 25%. The dual system provides a normal force value of 24.32% for the shear wall, while the frame carries 75.67%. The bearing capacity of the drilled pile with a safety factor = 2.5 is 162 tons for a diameter of 50 cm, 214 tons for a diameter of 60 cm, 340 tons for a diameter of 80 cm, 493 tons for a diameter of 100 cm, 672 tons for a diameter of 120 cm, and 993 tons for a diameter of 150 cm. The result of the pile driving analyzer test values for a 120 cm diameter range from 988 to 1,232 tons.

To provide alternatives for students that usually using a private vehicle for traveling to campus and to optimize current parking supply, Petra Christian University has prepared Petra Shuttle Bus (PSB) that has started its service since April 2022. This study examines the most sensitive attribute that affects the car/motorcycle users to shift to PSB and the impact of service quality and passenger satisfaction on passenger loyalty of the PSB. Data were collected from a random sample of 126 students who have been using PSB and was analysed using PLS structural equation modeling. Based on the mode choice model, the parking fee is the most sensitive attribute that influences students to shift from private vehicle to PSB, compared with both time to find an empty parking space and time to walk from the parking lot or pick up location to campus buildings. Results show that service quality has significant positive effects on passenger satisfaction, and passenger satisfaction also has significant positive effects on passenger loyalty. But the service quality has insignificant negative effects on passenger loyalty. The results as well indicate that service quality explains up to 64.3% variance of passenger satisfaction, while service quality and passenger satisfaction explain up to 45.2% variance of passenger loyalty.

The spread of Covid-19 continues to be the main focus for all sectors, especially in the office sector, where the health of working employees is the most important thing for the company. Along with a significant increase in the spread of the coronavirus, the availability of appropriate furniture accessories on work desks to support employee performance is very important. The number of companies that do not have the ability to replace furniture according to health protocol requirements is the main factor in this study. So that the flexible partition can be designed according to the principle of the health protocol. The use of copper coating on the partitions and furniture features can support the needs of employees which has an advantage as a material to prevent the spread of the virus. The utilization and quality of materials in workspace furniture will also be increased in accordance with the applicable health protocol regarding the standard of ergonomic dimensions. This study aims to record and analyze interior facilities with the category of desk furniture accessories in the office work area from a design and function point of view related to aspects of comfort and safety for employees.

Abstract Anime is a form of animated media originating from Japan, where it is mostly characterized by its unique style and is exclusively made in Japan. In the current digital era, anime is now very prevalent not only for Japanese consumers, but the entire world. With this much relevance behind anime, this paper proposes some observations of genres which trend over time. This is mostly to help creative teams behind anime studios to appeal to international audiences in the near future using the Prophet time-series. The resulting model has been evaluated with an RMSE of 1.102 and a MAPE of 13.551%. The model predicts that the genres Super Power, Demons, and Supernatural will trend upwards, while the genres Josei, Cars, and Kids will trend downwards into the year 2025.

ABSTRAK Penurunan daya ingat dan ketidakmampuan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari menjadi salah satu alasan lansia dikirim ke panti wredha. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor demografi dan demensia dengan kemandirian lansia dalam memenuhi aktivitas dasar dan instrumental di panti wredha. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner BADL (Basic Activities of Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), dan MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 166 lansia berusia 60 tahun yang tinggal di 3 panti wredha Bandung dan Garut. Analisa data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lansia yang ada di panti wredha 65,1% mandiri dalam BADL dan 51,8% mandiri dalam IADL, 109 orang (65,7%) mengalami demensia, 118 orang (71,1%) adalah wanita, 142 orang (85,5%) berpendidikan rendah, dan 153 orang (92,2%) tidak menikah. Analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemandirian (BADL dan IADL) dengan pendidikan, status marital, dan demensia pada lansia di panti wredha (p0,05). Upaya yang komprehensif perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian lansia khususnya yang ada di panti wredha. ABSTRACT Cognitive impairment and inability to do activities of daily living being the reasons for elderly to transferring in the nursing homes. The purpose of this study was to determine association of demographic factors and dementia with the independence of the elderly to fulfill basic and instrumental activities in nursing homes. The design of this study was cross-sectional. Data collection tools using BADL (Basic Activities of Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), and MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination) questionnaires. The research sample of 166 elderly aged 60 years who live in 3 nursing homes in Bandung and Garut. Data analysis uses an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the elderly in nursing homes 65.1% were independent in BADL and 51.8% were independent in IADL, 109 people (65.7%) suffered dementia, 118 people (71.1%) were women, 142 people (85.5% ) have low education, and 153 people (92.2%) are not married. The analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between BADL and IADL with education, marital status, and dementia in the elderly in nursing homes (p 0.05). Comprehensive treatment needs to improve the independence of the elderly especially in nursing homes.

Hypertension is a condition of persistently high blood pressure. It is currently a big health issue as its prevalence is high in Indonesia and its complications are numerous and deadly. Salt intake is one of the modifiable factors of hypertension. According to a study by Indonesian Ministry of Health, salt consumption in Indonesia is almost two times greater than the recommended salt diet from WHO. Sodium reabsorption in kidney plays a role in regulating blood pressure. Epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) is one of the structures that function in sodium reabsorption in kidney tubules. This study was conducted at the Central Laboratory and Animal Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Padjadjaran from June to Desember 2018. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of high sodium diet on the expression of ENaC gene in kidney tubules of rats. Twelve Rattus norvegicus wistar rats were divided into two groups of control and treatment. Treatment group was given daily 2 mL NaCl solution treatment using gavage for 8 weeks. The expression of ENaC α, β, and γ was obtained by running tissue samples from kidney cortex and medulla in polymerase chain reaction and electrophoresis. The result showed that there was an insignificant decrease in ENaC α, β, and γ gene expressions in both kidney cortex and medulla of the treatment group when compared to control groupThis study concludes that ENaC gene expression is not significantly affected by high sodium diet.

Purpose: This study aims to improve Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) by reducing waste in the assembly production line. This research is a case study conducted in a four-wheel vehicle manufacturing company to create a Lean production system. Methodology/Approach: This study uses the Waste Assessment Model (WAM) and Lean Automation integration methods carried out by 5 expert judgements in the selected four-wheeled vehicle industry. Findings: Based on the WAM method, this study found the biggest waste on the assembly line, namely transportation with a percentage of 20.44%. Improvements made with Lean Automation can increase the value of PCE from 56.76% to 63.62%. Research Limitation/Implication: This research is limited to one model, namely Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). This research provides benefits for companies related to waste reduction. For similar companies, this research can be input for manufacturing practitioners in improving manufacturing performance to compete in the global market. This Lean production can reduce manpower which has an impact on saving production costs. Originality/Value of paper: This paper provides added value related to the application of Lean terminology which aims to improve industrial automation-based manufacturing companies.

Restorative justice is a preventive response to understanding crime in a social context. It is a challenge to unearth the roots of offence and crime to be able to break the cycle. This restorative justice is based on the assumption that the crime originated in a social situation and recognizes that the perpetrator of the crime has also been injured. Therefore, the community must take over the responsibility to improve the condition that has triggered the onset of evil and also work to cure it. International developments in the concept of criminal justice and procedures for handling criminal cases in several countries have been known penal mediation (penal mediation, mediation penal, mediation in criminal matters, Victim - Offender Mediation) which is part of the criminal justice system. Mediation, previously known only in civil law, has been frequently used in some countries to resolve criminal cases. Penal mediation is a manifestation of the concept of restorative justice, which seeks to restore the rights of victims. Thus, restorative justice is based on holistic philosophy. The application of holistic thinking can help strengthen the capacity of the existing justice system. The main challenge in its application in the modern world is how to promote community participation, and at the same time protect the rights and interests of victims and perpetrators who commit offenders. This legal research is normative juridical research, through statute approach, conceptual approach, so that it can get a comprehensive understanding of the construction of criminal case resolution law through penal mediation in the perspective of Restorative Justice.

The settlement of minor offences can be pursued by penal mediation called restorative justice approach. Restorative Justice focuses on the direct participation of perpetrators, victims and the community by interpreting criminal acts as essentially attacks on individuals and communities as well as public relations. Justice is interpreted as the process of finding solutions to problems that occur on a minor criminal case with the involvement of victims, communities and perpetrators to be important in efforts to improve, reconcile and guarantee the continuity of the improvement efforts. In handling criminal cases, penal mediation prioritizes the interests of the perpetrators of crimes and at the same time the interests of victims, so that a win-win solution is achieved that benefits the perpetrators of crimes and their victims. In mediation penal victims are met directly with the perpetrators of crimes and can bring charges so that the peace of the parties is produced. Through mediation penal case handling process is done transparently. This research is normative juridical law research intended to review the settlement arrangements of minor crimes by applying restorative justice.

This study aims to discuss how the management of the ujrah funds on the waqf takafulink product and the management of the ujrah funds in the perspective of maqasid shariah in presenting wealth benefits. To achieve the discussion's objectives, researchers used field research with qualitative research types and a case study approach. As for collecting data, researchers conducted observations, interviews and looked at existing documents. Meanwhile, in analyzing the problem, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive technique and a maqasid shariah approach technique, so that this study could explain in detail about the management of funds in the waqf takafulink product. The results found the management of ujrah funds on the waqf takafulink product was contrary to the principles of sharia insurance because of the transfer of participant rights for the benefit of others as seen from the imposition of the ujrah funds that charged to participants to finance operations. But if the tax is on the company's amount of assets, the company should be able to bear the company’s operating costs without burdening the participants. Whereas from the review of maqasid shariah, the management of ujrah funds on takafulink products, waqf greetings is also against justice and benefit, because in managing funds there is an element of tyranny, and the status of ownership of property transferred in a way that is not in line with Islamic law.

Penulis melakukan studi tentang orang-orang miskin di Kecamatan Tebet untuk dijadikan objek lukisan. Kecamatan Tebet adalah distrik golongan menengah ke atas yang asri dan teratur. Dalam pengamatan penulis, di sela-sela distrik tersebut ditemukan orang-orang miskin yang bekerja di sektor informal, seperti pemulung, pengamen, juru parkir tidak resmi, pembantu, penjual koran dan pengemis. Penulis tertarik pada pelukisan subyek perempuan., karena mengambil foto dan mewawancarainya merupakan sesuatu yang sulit. Dibandingkan dengan pekerja informal laki-laki, perempuan mempunyai level insecure yang lebih tinggi terhadap orang asing. Dalam pembuatan lukisan mengenai perempuan miskin ini, penulis menggunakan gaya realisme foto. Tidak banyak pelukis yang membuat lukisan bertema kemiskinan karena tidak menarik dan tidak diminati kolektor.

Produksi merupakan kegiatan yang memberikan manfaat dan faedah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Tujuannya untuk mendapatkan maslahah maksimum sebagai usaha manusia dalam menciptakan kekayaan dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganilisis konsep produksi yang dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan konvesional dengan pendekatan konsep produksi menurut Muhammad Hasan As Syaibani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis. Konsep produksi pada umumnya mendefinisikan bahwa semua kegiatan dalam menciptakan kegunaan barang atau jasa tanpa mengenal batas halal dan haram, demi mendapatkan keuntungan material. Sedangkan konsep produksi Islami, mampu memanfaatkan sumber daya alam yang diciptakan Allah dengan baik. Muhammad Hasan as Syaibani seorang pemikir ekonomi dan juga seorang faqih pada dinasti Umayyah, telah menulis konsep produksi dalam bukunya Al Kasb yang membahas produksi yang diterapkan, dan alasan bekerja di masyarakat, sehingga bisa dipertanggung jawabkan. Beliau mendefinisikan al kasb (kerja) sebagai usaha mencari harta dengan berbagai cara yang halal. Artikel ini mencoba menjelaskan konsep al kasb menurut al Syaibani, bahwa kerja merupakan unsur penting dalam kehidupan demi mendukung pelaksanaan ibadah yang hukumnya wajib. Akhirnya artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa al Syaibani memiliki pandangan yang unik tentang produksi melalui bekerja yang orientasinya untuk mengapai ridho Allah Swt dan terciptanya kesejahtreraan di dunia. Dengan demikian, kerja mempunyai peran sangat penting dalam memenuhi hak Allah SWT, hak hidup, hak keluarga, dan hak masyarakat.

This study aims to examine project popularity and project information quality on the emotions felt by potential donors, as well as how these emotions can affect the trust and intention of donating potential donors on the crowdfunding platform. Data were collected through questionnaires on 130 undergraduate students in Surabaya, Indonesia. The participants have been actively using the internet and are aware of the crowdfunding platform itself. Through SEM analysis (PLS), the results show that project popularity and project information quality have a positive effect on positive emotion and have a negative effect on negative emotion. Furthermore, positive emotion has a positive effect on trust and negative emotion has a negative effect on trust. In the end, trust has a positive effect on the intention to donate. This study supports and extends the implementation of the stimulus-organismresponse (S-O-R) theory in the crowdfunding industry context. This study states that the intention to donate can be influenced by the trust of potential donors where their trust can be influenced by the emotions they feel and the emotions they feel can be influenced by the popularity of the project and the quality of information on a project.

Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Boyolali merupakan lembaga pemerintahan yang melayani administrasi kependudukan. Dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya, Dispendukcapil sudah memanfaatkan SI/TI guna mendukung berhasilnya proses bisnis yang dijalankan, di Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali SI/TI sangat berperan penting untuk menunjang operasionalnya. Dari kondisi yang seperti itu maka dibutuhkan perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang sejalan atau searah dengan kebutuhan bisnis dan tujuan organisasi. Saat ini Dispendukcapil belum memiliki adanya perencanaan strategis mengenai pemanfaatan SI/TI untuk kedepannya. Perencanaan strategis ini sangat diperlukan oleh Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali guna menghindari investasi atau pengadaan SI/TI yang tidak sesuai dengan tujuan dan fungsi utamanya sebagai kantor pelayanan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu membuat suatu perencanaan strategis yang didasarkan dengan visi misi dari Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward and Peppard dengan melakukan analisis lingkungan bisnis dan lingkungan SI/TI secara internal maupun eksternal.Analisis yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini antara lain analisis SWOT, Value Chain digunakan untuk analisis lingkungan bisnis internal, adapun analisis PEST, Five Force Model, digunakan untuk menganalisis lingkungan bisnis eksternal, dan analisis Mc Farlan Strategic Grid digunakan untuk analisis lingkungan SI/TI internal sedangkan studi literatur dan observasi digunakan untuk melihat lingkungan SI/TI eksternal. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rekomendasi portofolio perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali dalam bentuk roadmap SI/TI yang sesuai dengan fungsi dan tujuan dari organisasi dan juga dapat dikembangkan dalam jangka waktu 4 tahun, hal ini tentunya akan memberikan dampak yang baik karena pemanfaatan SI/TI di Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali akan lebih maksimal sehingga kualitas pelayanan masyarakat akan lebih baik. Abstract The Boyolali Regency Population and Civil Registration Service is a government institution that serves population administration. In carrying out its business processes, Dispendukcapil has utilized IS / IT to support the success of its business processes. In Boyolali Regency, SI / IT plays an important role in supporting its operations. From such conditions, it requires information system strategic planning that is in line or in line with business needs and organizational goals. Currently, Dispendukcapil has no strategic planning regarding the use of IS / IT for the future. This strategic planning is urgently needed by the Boyolali District Administration for Civil Service to avoid investment or procurement of IS / IT that is inconsistent with its main purpose and function as a community service office. The purpose of this research is to make a strategic plan based on the vision and mission of the Boyolali District Civil Service Office. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method by analyzing the business environment and IS / IT environment internally and externally. The analyzes used in this study include SWOT analysis, Value Chain is used for internal business environment analysis, as well as PEST analysis, Five Force Model, it is used to analyze the external business environment, and Mc Farlan Strategic Grid analysis is used for the analysis of the internal IS / IT environment, while the literature study and observation are used to see the external IS / IT environment. The results of this study are recommendations for information system strategic planning portfolios that are in accordance with the needs of the Boyolali District Government Office in the form of IS / IT roadmaps that are in accordance with the functions and objectives of the organization and can also be developed within a period of 4 years, this will certainly have a good impact. because the utilization of SI / IT in the Boyolali District Government Office will be maximized so that the quality of public services will be better.

This research aims to find out the phenomenon of webinar competition from the viewpoint of the audience. Covid-19 pandemic makes webinars a means for knowledge dissemination. Many events offered turned out to be a tight competition among organizers and caused a different response for the audience. Academics participants’ responses had never been known in depth so that they could be the basis for determining the strategy for the organizers. Using quantitative data through online surveys to further interpreted with the help of previous literature. The independent variables gender, age, frequency, cost, and place are used to determine their effect on loyalty, which is represented by the length of duration in participating in each webinar. The effectiveness of webinars as a means of disseminating ideas in the pandemic era still faces various challenges. Among academics, the loyalty at the webinar event is influenced by gender and age. It is important for organizers to effectively communicate to webinar participants so that they get the message they want to convey.

Neuropilin-1 acts as a coreceptor with vascular endothelial growth factor receptors to facilitate binding of its ligand, vascular endothelial growth factor. Neuropilin-1 also binds to heparan sulfate, but the functional significance of this interaction has not been established. A combinatorial library screening using heparin oligosaccharides followed by molecular dynamics simulations of a heparin tetradecasaccharide suggested a highly conserved binding site composed of amino acid residues extending across the b1 and b2 domains of murine neuropilin-1. Mutagenesis studies established the importance of arginine513 and lysine514 for binding of heparin to a recombinant form of Nrp1 composed of the a1, a2, b1, and b2 domains. Recombinant Nrp1 protein bearing R513A,K514A mutations showed a significant loss of heparin-binding, heparin-induced dimerization, and heparin-dependent thermal stabilization. Isothermal calorimetry experiments suggested a 1:2 complex of heparin tetradecasaccharide:Nrp1. To study the impact of altered heparin binding in vivo, a mutant allele of Nrp1 bearing the R513A,K514A mutations was created in mice (Nrp1D) and crossbred to Nrp1+/- mice to examine the impact of altered heparan sulfate binding. Analysis of tumor formation showed variable effects on tumor growth in Nrp1D/D mice, resulting in a frank reduction in tumor growth in Nrp1D/- mice. Expression of mutant Nrp1D protein was normal in tissues, suggesting that the reduction in tumor growth was due to the altered binding of heparin/heparan sulfate to neuropilin-1. These findings suggest that the interaction of neuropilin-1 with heparan sulfate modulates its stability and its role in tumor formation and growth.

ABSTRACTPatient safety has become a global issue of concern in health care. Various efforts have been made to improve patient safety in the hospital by involving the health team, one of which is a nurse, a health worker who interacts 24 hours with patients. The role of nurses is a major factor in improving patient safety in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to develop a role model for implementing nurses in improving patient safety at Rumah Sakit Umum Deli Medan. This research was a qualitative research with an action research approach involving 15 nurses as participants. Data collection was carried out by means of focus group discussions (FGD), observation, and questionnaires about the role in patient safety. The data obtained were evaluated using content analysis and simple statistics. The results of this study were in the form of a blueprint for the role model of the implementing nurse in improving patient safety, with the outcome of the increasing knowledge of the implementing nurse. The researchers concluded that proper implementation was very important to raise awareness of the importance of preventing incidents of injury to patients. Keywords: Role, Nurse, Patient Safety

Identifikasi Blastocystis sp. pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode morfologis dan molekuler. Sebanyak 90 feses individu monyet ekor panjang Taman Nasional Baluran dilakukan pemeriksaan secara mikroskopis setelah dilakukan kultur pada Jones Medium. 28 dari sampel yang positif secara mikroskopis dilanjutkan dengan uji PCR dengan target primer barcode region yang mempunyai visualisasi 600bp. Tiga sampel dengan band positif 600bp dilanjutkan dengan squencing. Hasil sekuens diproses dalam BLAST dan MLST. Satu sampel yang terkonfirmasi sebagai Blastocystis sp. dengan infeksi campuran dari subtipe 1 alel 2 dan subtipe 3 alel 34. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Blastocystis sp. terdapat pada monyet ekor panjang di Taman Nasional Baluran dengan prevalensi rendah.

To determine performance of rigid pavement, pavement engineers should not only conduct stress, curling, and deflection analysis, but also understand weather conditions and subgrade quality effects on rigid pavement performance well. This study aims to analyze and visualize the mechanical behaviors of rigid pavement in terms of stress, curling, and deflection using the KENPAVE Program under different curling temperature and subgrade quality. Besides, this study also evaluated temperature differential and k-value effects on the stress, curling, and deflection behavior of concrete pavement. The findings revealed that there is a linear correlation between stress and both k-value and curling temperature, with the latter having more significant impact in controlling stress than the former. However, even though curling is not affected by subgrade quality, it significantly depends on the temperature differential since a higher curling temperature produces higher curling behavior. Lastly, a higher temperature differential produces greater deflection, but a higher k-value produces smaller deflection. Nevertheless, deflection behavior has a more significant curve and the position of the highest deflection shifted towards the center of the slab as the curling temperature and subgrade quality increase.
