Comprehensive Summary Due to the extremely similar physical and chemical properties of C2H6, C2H4, and C2H2, purifying ethylene from the C2 ternary mixture in one‐step is very challenging. In this work, we developed a series of pillar‐layered MOF materials ((Ni(BTC)(Bipy), Ni(BTC)(3‐Me‐Bipy), and Ni(BTC)(3‐NH2‐Bipy)) through the functionalization of pillar ligands using pore engineering strategies. Single‐component adsorption isotherm measurements demonstrate that these materials preferentially adsorb C2H6 and C2H2, thereby achieving one‐step purification of the three C2 hydrocarbons to obtain C2H4. By introducing functional groups on the pillars, the selectivity for C₂H₆/C₂H₄ increased by over 10%, while the selectivity for C₂H₂/C₂H₄ increased by more than 300%. Specifically, Ni(BTC)(3‐NH2‐Bipy) exhibits a selectivity of 1.5 for C2H6/C2H4 (50/50, V/V) and 5.16 for C2H2/C2H4 (1/99, V/V). Under ambient conditions, the adsorption capacity of Ni(BTC)(3‐NH2‐Bipy) for C2H2 reached 121.6 cm3/g, Ni(BTC)(3‐NH2‐Bipy) exhibits superior C2H2 adsorption capacity and C2H2/C2H4 selectivity compared to many classic materials, including TJT‐100, Azole‐Th‐1, and MOF‐808‐Bzz, commonly used for C2H4 purification from C2 ternary mixtures. Based on the objective evaluation of the regional ecological quality (Urban Cluster in Mid-inner Zhejiang) by Remote Sensing based Ecological Index (RSEI), it was proposed to study the spatial-temporal response of the regional ecological quality to the urban built-up areas, impervious surface, land use and "production-living-ecological" space under urban settlement change to quantitatively describe the mechanism of human activities' influence on the regional ecology. The results showed that: (1) From 1985 to 2020, the RSEI of the Urban Cluster in Mid-inner Zhejiang was above 0.50 as a whole, showing a trend of first decreasing and then increasing with a slight decrease in some parts. (2) From the perspective of the urban built-up areas, it was dominated by ecological level 2–3, gradually changing from ecological level 3 to ecological level 2. (3) From the perspective of the impervious surface, it was dominated by ecological level 2–3, accounting for more than 75.00% of the total study area. (4) From the perspective of land use, the cropland, forestland, water and construction land were mainly ecological level 2–4, 3–4, 3–4 and 2–3. (5) From the perspective of "production-living-ecological" space, production space, ecological space and living space were dominated by ecological level 3, 3–4 and 2–3. The results can deepen the understanding of the impact of urban settlement development on the regional ecological quality, avoid the unbalanced situation of blindly pursuing socio-economic development while ignoring the ecological environment, which scientifically helps the sustainable construction and high-quality development of the Urban Cluster in Mid-inner Zhejiang. Simple Summary: Selecting shrimp strains for optimal performance on a plant-based diet holds promise for solving the fishmeal (FM) shortage issue, with genetic improvement of feed efficiency (FE) being a key focus. This study compared a plant-based (fishmeal-free) diet with a 25% fishmeal diet for Penaeus vannamei, focusing on feed efficiency traits like residual feed intake (RFI) and average daily weight gain (ADG). Results showed higher RFI (0.0049 g/d vs. −0.0045 g/d) and lower ADG (0.043 g/d vs. 0.110 g/d) on the plant-based diet, indicating potential yield reductions. Heritability estimates for RFI were 0.743 ± 0.157 (plant-based diet) and 0.440 ± 0.125 (fishmeal-based diet). Genetic correlations between both diets for RFI (0.646 ± 0.162) and ADG (0.296 ± 0.259) suggested different degrees of genotype × diet interactions, underscoring the need for selective breeding in plant-based diets. This study compared a plant-based (fishmeal-free) diet with a 25% FM diet for the Pacific whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) to determine whether the FE-related traits, including residual feed intake (RFI), average daily weight gain (ADG), and daily feed intake (DFI), exhibit diet-specific genetic variations and genotype-by-diet (genotype × diet) interactions. Results showed that RFI was significantly higher under the plant-based diet treatment compared to the FM-based diet treatment (0.0049 g/d vs. –0.0045 g/d, p < 0.001), while ADG was notably lower (0.043 g/d vs. 0.110 g/d, p < 0.001), indicating that a plant-based diet may lead to reduced yields and impact the profitability of shrimp culture. In the case of being unable to estimate common environmental effects, the heritability estimates of RFI under the plant-based and FM-based diets were 0.743 ± 0.157 and 0.440 ± 0.125, respectively, and those of ADG and DFI ranged from 0.314 ± 0.121 to 0.947 ± 0.158. Genetic correlations between diets for RFI and DFI were 0.646 ± 0.162 and 0.549 ± 0.163, respectively, suggesting a degree of genotype × diet interactions. In contrast, the genetic correlation between diets for ADG was only 0.296 ± 0.259, indicating a strong genotype × diet interaction. A heated cigarette end quality inspection system based on machine vision detection technology was designed to address the difficulty of online detection of common quality defects such as cigarette deformation, hollowing, and looseness at the end of heated cigarettes. The system utilized hardware such as high-speed counting cards, industrial cameras, and flash controllers to complete image acquisition, and the Canny algorithm was used for cigarette contour detection and recognition in the industrial computer. Then, cigarette deformation was determined based on the mean and standard deviation of the contour radius, cigarette hollow was identified based on global threshold binarization, and cigarette looseness was identified based on local adaptive binarization. Based on the recognition results, the end defects of cigarette deformation, hollowing, and looseness were eliminated online. The performance of the binary algorithm used in the system and its practical application in production were validated. The results showed that compared with OTSU, Bernsen, Niblack and other methods, global threshold binarization had the highest accuracy (99.8%) in hollow detection, and adaptive binarization had the highest accuracy (99.0%) in looseness detection. The system had a detection accuracy of ≥99% for defects such as deformation, hollowing, and looseness of heated cigarette ends, and had significant advantages in calculation time. It was suitable for high-speed operation requirements of production lines and could provide support for improving the quality of heated cigarette ends and production process control. Background: Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common malignancies of the urinary system. Cuproptosis, a newly discovered form of cell death. The relationship between cuproptosis-related long non-coding RNAs (ClncRNAs) related to PCa and prognosis remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the clinical significance of novel ClncRNAs in the prognostic assessment of PCa. Methods: ClncRNAs and differentially expressed mRNAs linked to these ClncRNAs were identified using Pearson's correlation and differential expression analyses. A prognostic signature (risk score) comprising three ClncRNAs was established based on multivariable Cox regression analysis. The predictive performance of this ClncRNAs signature was validated using receiver operating characteristic curves and nomograms. Finally, further in vitro cell experiments were conducted for validation, including quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), western blot (WB), cell proliferation assays, cell migration assays, cell invasion assays, apoptosis, and cell cycle analysis. Results: We constructed a prognostic signature of ClncRNAs for PCa comprising three key differentially expressed ClncRNAs(AC010896-1, AC016394-2, and SNHG9). Multivariable Cox regression analysis indicated that clinical staging and risk scores of the ClncRNAs signature were independent prognostic factors for PCa. Compared to other clinical features, the ClncRNAs signature exhibited higher diagnostic efficiency and performed well in predicting the 1-, 3-, and 5-year progression-free intervals (PFIs) for PCa. Notably, in terms of immune activity, PCa patients with high-risk scores exhibited higher tumor mutational burden (TMB) levels, while their Tumor Immune Dysfunction and Exclusion (TIDE) scores were lower than those of PCa patients with low-risk scores. Additionally, in vitro cellular functional experiments, we knocked down SNHG9 that is the most significantly differentially expressed ClncRNA among the three key ClncRNAs. SNHG9 knockdown resulted in a significant increase in G1 phase cells and a decrease in S and G2 phases, indicating inhibition of DNA synthesis and cell cycle progression. Colony formation assays showed reduced clonogenic ability, with fewer and smaller colonies. Western blot analysis revealed the upregulation of the key cuproptosis-related mRNAs FDX1 and DLST. These findings suggested that SNHG9 promotes PCa cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Conclusion: Building on the three ClncRNAs, we identified a novel prognostic signature of PCa. The stereochemistry of shape‐persistent molecular cages, particularly those resembling prisms, exerts significant influence on their application‐specific functionalities. Although methods exist for fabricating inherently chiral prism‐like cages, strategies for catalytic asymmetric synthesis of these structures in a diversity‐oriented fashion remain unexplored. Herein, we introduce an unprecedented organocatalytic desymmetrization approach for the generation of inherently chiral prism‐like cages via phosphonium‐containing foldamer‐catalyzed SNAr reactions. This methodology establishes a topological connection, enabling the facile assembly of a wide range of versatile stereogenic‐at‐cage building blocks possessing two highly modifiable groups. Furthermore, subsequent stereospecific transformations of the remaining chlorides and/or ethers afford convenient access to numerous functionally relevant chiral‐at‐cage molecules. Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is characterized by insulin resistance (IR) and is often accompanied by mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The detrimental effects of T2DM and IR on the hippocampus have been extensively demonstrated. Few studies have examined the effects of IR on structure and function of hippocampal subfields in T2DM‐MCI patients. Method: A total of 104 T2DM patients were recruited in this prospective study and divided into four groups (T2DM‐MCI‐higherIR, n = 17; T2DM‐MCI‐lowerIR, n = 32; T2DM‐nonMCI‐higherIR, n = 19; T2DM‐nonMCI‐lowerIR, n = 36). Structure and function MRI data were captured. Clinical variables and neuropsychological scores were determined for all participants. Hippocampal subfield volume and functional connectivity were compared among four groups. Partial correlation analysis was performed between imaging indicators, clinical variables, and neuropsychological scores in all patients. Results: T2DM‐MCI‐higher IR group had the smallest volumes of bilateral hippocampal tail, right subiculum‐body, right GC‐ML‐DG‐body, and right CA4‐body. IR in right hippocampal tail, right subiculum‐body, and right GC‐ML‐DG‐body exerted main effect. Furthermore, elevated functional connectivity was found between right subiculum‐body and bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and right anterior cingulate–medial prefrontal cortex. Hippocampal subfield volume positively correlates with total cholesterol and triglycerides and negatively correlates with fasting insulin. Conclusion: The present study found that T2DM‐MCI patients have structural and functional alterations in hippocampal subfields, and IR is a negative factor influencing the alteration of hippocampal subfields volume. These findings support the importance of IR in T2DM‐MCI patients and might be potential neuroimaging biomarkers of cerebral impairment in T2DM‐MCI patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Plant‐based diets reduces the risk of chronic conditions. The interaction between protein source and other macronutrients—fat (F) and carbohydrate (C)—has yet to be investigated. The aim was to assess the main and interactive effects of protein‐source (plant vs. animal) and F:C (high or low) and the transition from an Australian diet to a whole food diet on various health markers in older individuals. This single‐blinded, parallel, randomised experimental trial used a 2 × 2 factorial design to compare pro‐vegetarian (70:30 plant to animal) versus omnivorous (50:50 plant to animal) diets at 14% protein and varying fat‐to‐carbohydrate ratios (high fat ~40% vs. low fat ~30%) over 4 weeks. Study foods were provided, alcohol consumption was discouraged, and dietary intake was determined through food records. Analysis included both RCT and observational data. Changes in appetite, palatability of diets, and dietary intake were assessed. Body composition, muscle strength, function, gut microbiome, and cardiometabolic health parameters were measured. Data from 113 (of the 128 randomised) individuals aged 65–75 years were analysed. Pro‐vegetarian diets reduced diastolic blood pressure, total cholesterol and glucose levels. Moreover, the overall sample exhibited increased short‐chain fatty acids and FGF21 levels, as well as improvements in body composition, function, and cardio‐metabolic parameters irrespective of dietary treatment. Transitioning to a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, fibre, and moderate protein was associated with improved health markers in older age, with added benefits from pro‐vegetarian diets. The uncontrollable lithium (Li) dendrites growth and complex electrode/electrolyte interface (EEI) problems are hindering the further application of high energy density lithium metal batteries (LMBs) in practice. Herein, a bilayer heterostructure gel polymer electrolyte (BGPE) is designed by directly curing functional boron‐containing monomers on the electrode surface to ensure excellent conductivity while solving the interface problems, achieving durable high voltage resistance and Li dendrites suppression. The unoccupied p‐orbital boron moiety of the 3D crosslinked network in BGPE not only improves the Li+ transference number (0.78), but also enhances the interfacial stability of the Li metal and inhibits the dendrites growth by anchoring PF6− anions and regulating the uniform Li deposition, thus ensuring a long cycle for Li/BGPE/Li cells. In addition, the functional additives tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphite and tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane can preferentially oxidize and decompose to form stable B, F, and Si‐rich EEIs, and effectively regulate the uniform growth of EEI. Thus, the LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2/BGPE/Li and LiFePO4/BGPE/Li full cells exhibit stable cycling and excellent rate performance. Introduction: Treatment‐resistant depression (TRD) is a condition in which patients suffering from depression no longer respond to common methods of treatment, such as anti‐depressant medication. Neurosurgical procedures such as ablative surgery, deep brain stimulation, and vagus nerve stimulation have been used in efforts to overcome TRD. Objectives: This review aims to provide an overview of the side effects of neurosurgery performed in clinical studies related to depression. Methods: A literature search was conducted through PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Ovid, and ClinicalTrials.gov databases. Results: This review selected 10 studies for ablative surgery, 12 for deep brain stimulation, and 10 for vagus nerve stimulation, analyzing their side effect profiles of neurosurgery for TRD. The major side effects of each type of neurosurgery were identified, such as incontinence and confusion for ablative surgery, headaches and increased suicide ideation for deep brain stimulation, and voice hoarseness and dyspnea for vagus nerve stimulation. Conclusion: The review discusses the merits and demerits of neurosurgery as a treatment option for TRD. It also suggests new insights into decreasing the burden of these neurosurgical side effects so that they can be a viable, high‐efficacy treatment method for TRD. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Along with the rising digitalization of businesses, social media influencers (SMI) have been essential in redefining how the online promotional system operates. In the Philippines alone, social media influencers are central to all online discussions. The country is known as the "social media capital of the world," as 86.3% of Filipinos follow at least one influencer and spend about 11 hours each week on social media. With the use of an existing theory and testable hypotheses, the researchers will gather data while adhering to the positivist philosophy. To obtain objective and statistically significant results, the researchers will measure, document, and examine the data through a survey. Moreover, the researchers will carry out various statistical testing, including PLS-SEM, average variance extraction (AVE), heterotrait-monotrait (HTMT) ratio, variance inflation factor (VIF), squared multiple correlation (R2), Stone-Geisser's Q2, etc. using SmartPLS. Delving into the results, it was shown that influencer-branded content's interestingness does affect users to be emotionally attached. Research findings also revealed that influencer-generated content's novelty does not significantly affect users' emotional attachment to influencers. It was also shown that reliability positively affects emotional attachment, as well as information quality. But when it comes to understandability it shows no relationship with emotional attachment. Lastly, it is revealed that there is no significant relationship between emotional attachment and users' intention to disagree with the influencer.
