AIM:To determine the prevalence of screening myopia and refractive correction among primary and middle school students aged from 6-18 years in Xuzhou city, Jiangsu Province.METHODS: A cross-sectional cluster sampling study was designed. The total number of screened students was 63 488 in 70 schools from Xuzhou city in this study from September 2020 to December 2020. After excluding the unqualified data, 58 149 students aged 6-18 years were included to analyse. The prevalence of screening myopia, refractive correction and full correction with the aspect of different ages, genders, regions and degrees of myopia were described.RESULTS: The overall rate of screening myopia and refractive correction were 49.26% and 31.11%, respectively and both showed an increasing trend with age(P

In this study, a stochastic differential equation capable of describing (using the motion function) the automatic manufacturing process of a lithium battery with a sleeve shell is introduced. The boundary-condition modeling method for this type of motion is an ordinary differential equation. The nonlinear equation is found using a dynamic method. The equations of the motions for the assembly process are derived by reducing the order of terms and separating the variables. Both the derivatives and integrals of the motion functions are derived and applied to describe the assembly process for a lithium battery. By using a characteristic constitutive assembly model, a new method to calculate the nonlinear terms is proposed. The main advantage of this method is that it can simplify the problem, which is done by finding the algebraic error in the region space of the motion function. The reliability and the applicability of the method were confirmed using a real-life example. Finally, by solving and improving the Euler model, the fourth-order Kutta method and Taylor series are applied to verify the correctness of the algorithm, and the convergence order of the function and the optimization of the assembly model are discussed. Through a one-dimensional search of the convergence domain, a method is found to make the analytical solution approximate the exact solution and reduce the calculation cost. Metastable austenitic stainless steels (ASSs) have excellent ductility but low strength, so that their usage as load-bearing components is significantly limited. Rolling is an effective method of increasing strength, whereas the effect of rolling temperature on microstructural evolution, the hydrogen embrittlement (HE) sensitivity and fracture mechanisms is still unclear. In present study, the effect of cold/warm rolling on detailed microstructural characteristics of 304 ASS was quantitatively investigated, and the corresponding HE sensitivity was evaluated via slow strain rate test (SSRT). The results suggest that cold-rolling led to high strength but poor plasticity and deteriorated HE sensitivity, while warm-rolled samples provided combination of high strength and ductility and also superior HE resistance. Compared with 18% α′-martensite in cold -rolled steel, warm-rolled specimens consisted of complete austenite, less twins and lower dislocation density，moreover, the favorable {112} ND and {110} ND textures replaced the harmful {001} ND texture. Based on in-situ EBSD observation during SSRT, the HE sensitivity was governed by the combined effect of pre-deformation microstructures and the dynamic microstructural evolution. Advanced method of time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry was used to observe the distribution of hydrogen, and the hydrogen content of specimens was determined by the gas chromatograph thermal desorption analysis method. An exceedingly small amount of hydrogen entered the warm-rolled samples, while a large amount of hydrogen was trapped at grain boundaries of cold-rolled sample, leading to complete intergranular fracture. Therefore, warm rolling is an effective pathway for obtaining high combination of strength and ductility together with excellent HE sensitivity.

BackgroundSevere acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Serologic testing is complementary to nucleic acid screening to identify SARS-CoV-2. This study aimed to evaluate unspecific reactivity in SARS-CoV-2 serologic tests.Materials and methodsTotal anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies from 46,777 subjects who were screened for SARS-CoV-2 were retrospectively studied to evaluate the incidence and characteristics of the unspecific reactivity. A total of 1,114 pre-pandemic samples were also analysed to compare unspecific reactivity.ResultsThe incidence of unspecific reactivity in anti-SARS-CoV-2 total antibody testing was 0.361% in 46,777 post-pandemic samples, similar to the incidence of 0.359% (4/1,114) in 1,114 pre-pandemic samples (p = 0.990). Subjects ≥ 19 years old had a 2.753-fold [95% confidence interval (CI), 1.130–6.706] higher probability of unspecific reactivity than subjects < 19 years old (p = 0.026). There was no significant difference between the sexes. The unspecific reactivity was associated with 14 categories within the disease spectrum, with three tops being the skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases (0.93%), respiratory system diseases (0.78%) and neoplasms diseases (0.76%). The percentage of patients with a titer ≥ 13.87 cut-off index (COI) in the unspecific reactivity was 7.69%.ConclusionOur results suggest a unspecific reactivity incidence rate of 0.361% involving 14 categories on the disease spectrum. Unspecific reactivity needs to be excluded when performing serologic antibody testing in COVID-19 epidemiological analyses or virus tracing.

This work investigated the effect of ZrB2 content on phase composition, relative density, microstructure, and mechanical performance of Si3N4 ceramics prepared by Si nitridation and hot‐pressing method. Si3N4 ceramics were fabricated using Si powder by nitridation and hot‐pressing process. Results showed that the addition of ZrB2 enhanced the transformation of α‐Si3N4 into β‐Si3N4 phase during nitridation, resulting in a greater fraction of β‐Si3N4 (above 90 wt.%) phase in Si3N4 ceramics with ZrB2 after hot‐pressing. In contrast, ceramics without ZrB2 had a lower ratio of β‐Si3N4 (40.4 wt.%). The use of 2.5 vol.% ZrB2 yielded a significant bimodal microstructure and increased fracture toughness to 5.0 ± 0.2 MPa·m1/2, but decreased Vickers hardness to 16.4 ± 0.5 GPa. However, increasing the ZrB2 content to 5 vol.% and 10 vol.% led to a massive formation of equiaxed coarse β‐Si3N4 grains and a significant decrease in Vickers hardness and fracture toughness. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity of Ni-based oxyhydroxides greatly hinges on their phase structures, which are mainly γ and β phases: the former has higher intrinsic activity than the latter. However, it is still a grand challenge to purposefully generate γ phase, rather than β phase. Here, we propose a cation-doping strategy to generate γ phase by taking Zn-doped NiFeP/N-doped C (Z-NFP/N-C) precatalyst as a model. In contrast to the case of NFP/N-C that can only be reconstructed into β-NiFeOOH, Zn dopant will induce the formation of γ-NiFeOOH during an electrochemical process. Specifically, the doped Zn cation will promote the dissolution of NiFeP and redeposition of NiFeOOH on the surface. Simultaneously, the cation defects generated by Zn leaching will force the surrounding Ni valence state to rise for charge balance and will attract more K+ in the solution to intercalate into the interlayer of NiFeOOH, resulting in the formation of γ-NiFeOOH. As a result, the γ-NiFeOOH/Z-NFP/N-C exhibits superior OER performance: a low overpotential of 216 mV at 10 mA cm−2 and satisfactory stability (100 h at 17 mA cm−2). The Lower Cambrian shale gas in the western Hubei area, South China has a great resource prospect, but the gas-in-place (GIP) content in different sedimentary facies varies widely, and the relevant mechanism has been not well understood. In the present study, two sets of the Lower Cambrian shale samples from theWells YD4 and YD5 in the western Hubei area, representing the deep-water shelf facies and shallowwater platform facies, respectively, were investigated on the differences of pore types, pore structure and methane adsorption capacity between them, and the main controlling factor and mechanism of their methane adsorption capacities and GIP contents were discussed. The results show that the organic matter (OM) pores in the YD4 shale samples are dominant, while the inorganic mineral (IM) pores in the YD5 shale samples are primary, with underdeveloped OM pores. The pore specific surface area (SSA) and pore volume (PV) of the YD4 shale samples are mainly from micropores and mesopores, respectively, while those of the YD5 shale samples are mainly from micropores and macropores, respectively. The methane adsorption capacity of the YD4 shale samples is significantly higher than that of the YD5 shale samples, with a maximum absolute adsorption capacity of 3.13 cm3/g and 1.31 cm3/g in average, respectively. Compared with the shallow-water platform shale, the deep-water shelf shale has a higher TOC content, a better kerogen type and more developed OM pores, which is the main mechanism for its higher adsorption capacity. The GIP content models based on two samples with a similar TOC content selected respectively from theWells YD4 and YD5 further indicate that the GIP content of the deep-water shelf shale is mainly 3-4 m3/t within a depth range of 1000e4000 m, with shale gas exploration and development potential, while the shallow-water platform shale has normally a GIP content of <1 m3/t, with little shale gas potential. Considering the geological and geochemical conditions of shale gas formation and preservation, the deep-water shelf facies is the most favorable target for the Lower Cambrian shale gas exploration and development in the western Hubei area, South China. To address the two critical issues of evaluating the necessity of implementing cooling techniques and achieving real-time temperature control of drilling fluids underground in the current drilling fluid cooling technology, we first established a temperature and pressure coupled downhole heat transfer model, which can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling fluid. Then, fourteen factors, which could affect wellbore temperature, were analyzed. Based on the standard deviation of the downhole temperature corresponding to each influencing factor, the influence of each factor was quantified. The influencing factors that can be used to guide the drilling fluid's cooling technology were drilling fluid thermal conductivity, drilling fluid heat capacity, drilling fluid density, drill strings rotation speed, pump rate, viscosity, ROP, and injection temperature. The nondominated sorting genetic algorithm was used to optimize these six parameters, but the optimization process took 182 min. Combining these eight parameters' influence rules with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm can reduce the optimization time to 108 s. Theoretically, the downhole temperature has been demonstrated to increase with the inlet temperature increasing linearly under quasi-steady states. Combining this law and PID, the downhole temperature can be controlled, which can reduce the energy for cooling the surface drilling fluid and can ensure the downhole temperature reaches the set value as soon as possible. This paper is concerned with event-triggered H∞ control of sampled-data systems. Its novelties lie in three aspects: (i) A novel accumulated-state-error-based event-triggered scheme is introduced by comparing the integral of the state error from tk to t with the system state sampled at tk. This condition works well due to the fact that the so-called Zeno behaviour does not occur. (ii) A novel Lyapunov functional is constructed to establish a criterion to ensure some certain H∞ performance of the closed-loop system. This Lyapunov functional is dependent on the integral of the state error involved in the event-triggered scheme. (iii) Under the event-triggered sampling scheme, suitable state-feedback controllers can be designed rather than be given a priori. Moreover, a self-triggered implementation of the proposed event-triggered sampling scheme is presented as well. Hybrid ns2 metal halides have attracted extensive attention due to the unique photophysical behavior. However, the reasonable improvement of photoluminescence efficiency by accurate structural modulation remains a great challenge. Herein, two kind of antimony halides with formulae as (S)/(R)‐[C6H16N2]3[SbCl5]2·2Cl ((S)/(R)‐1·2Cl) and (S)/(R)‐[C6H16N2]2[SbCl5]2 ((S)/(R)‐2) ([C6H16N2]2+ = 1,2‐Diaminocyclohexane) are developed, in which 0D [Sb4Cl20]8− clusters and 1D infinite [SbCl5]n2n− polyanion chains are adopted, respectively. The stoichiometric tunability enables metastable (S)/(R)‐1·2Cl being transformed to dynamic stable (S)/(R)‐2. All compounds contain a large number of Sb─Cl secondary bonds because of the strong chemical activity of 5s2 electrons. The obtained compounds exhibit broadband orange‐light emission, while photoluminescence quantum yield of (S)/(R)‐2 is significantly enhanced to ≈76% due mainly to the generation of more localized electrons onto 1D chains. Experimental and computational results reveal that efficient broadband emission derives from the synergistic emission of singlet and triplet states, where the presence of shallow trap energy levels leads to anti‐thermal quenching behavior. Furthermore, the highly efficient photoluminescence property allows (S)‐2 to become excellent down‐conversion phosphor for white‐light emitting diode. This work proves that exploring structure‐property relationship in hybrid systems is helpful in promoting the rapid development of high‐performance broadband emission metal halides. Caged gem-dithiols have been developed as the donors of reactive sulfur species (RSS), but the chemistry of free gem-dithiols as RSS donors has not been well understood. Herein, we report the study of a free gem-dithiol, 1,3-diphenylpropane-2,2-dithiol, as the precursor for several RSS. It releases H2S under physiological conditions and can be converted to a mono-S-nitrosothiol, which serves as a NO donor. Furthermore, it can be converted to 3,3-dibenzyldithiirane, which is an active sulfur transfer reagent and can induce S-persulfidation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Comprehensive Summary: The photocatalytic oxidative coupling of thiols is one of the most popular methods to synthesize the disulfides. Triphenylamine and its derivatives (TPAs) are promising for the above reaction, but suffer from the easy polymerization and difficult separation. To overcome these obstacles while controlling the photogenerated electrons transfer directly to target substrates, herein, we constructed one TPA‐based metal‐organic framework (MOF), (Me2NH2)[Sr(TCBPA)]·DMA·3H2O (1), by direct self‐assembly of tris(4′‐carboxybiphenyl)amine (H3TCBPA) and photoredox inert strontium ion (Sr2+). DFT calculations revealed that the valence band maximum (VBM) and the conduction band minimum (CBM) are mainly located on TCBPA3–, successfully inhibiting the undesirable electron migration to metal nodes. Experimental results indicated that 1 displays superior performance than homogeneous H3TCBPA, which may result from the abundant π···π and C—H···π interactions between the well‐arranged TCBPA3– and the build‐in electric field between the anionic framework and the Me2NH2+. This work highlights that immobilizing TPAs into MOFs is one promising approach to designing heterogeneous photocatalysts for the synthesis of disulfides by oxidative coupling of thiols. 1,4-naphthoquinones (NQs) catalytically oxidize H2S to per- and polysufides and sulfoxides, reduce oxygen to superoxide and hydrogen peroxide, and can form NQ-SH adducts through Michael addition. Here, we measured oxygen consumption and used sulfur-specific fluorophores, liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), and UV-Vis spectrometry to examine H2S oxidation by NQs with various substituent groups. In general, the order of H2S oxidization was DCNQ ~ juglone > 1,4-NQ > plumbagin >DMNQ ~ 2-MNQ > menadione, although this order varied somewhat depending on the experimental conditions. DMNQ does not form adducts with GSH or cysteine (Cys), yet it readily oxidizes H2S to polysulfides and sulfoxides. This suggests that H2S oxidation occurs at the carbonyl moiety and not at the quinoid 2 or 3 carbons, although the latter cannot be ruled out. We found little evidence from oxygen consumption studies or LC-MS/MS that NQs directly oxidize H2S2–4, and we propose that apparent reactions of NQs with inorganic polysulfides are due to H2S impurities in the polysulfides or an equilibrium between H2S and H2Sn. Collectively, NQ oxidation of H2S forms a variety of products that include hydropersulfides, hydropolysulfides, sulfenylpolysulfides, sulfite, and thiosulfate, and some of these reactions may proceed until an insoluble S8 colloid is formed.
