Lung cancer patients co-harboring EGFR Ex19del mutation and MET de novo amplification is extremely uncommon. Thus, the optimal therapeutic strategies, treatment-related complications, and prognosis for such patients remain unclear. Herein, we describe a case of patient co-harboring EGFR Ex19del mutation and MET de novo amplification who presented targeted (almonertinib)-induced interstitial lung disease (ILD). We propose that patients with EGFR Ex19del mutation and MET de novo amplification may benefit more from dual-targeted therapy than pemetrexed and carboplatin chemotherapy along with bevacizumab. However, dual-targeted therapy may increase the risk of ILD, so it is important to be alert to targeted-induced ILD, and unexplained fever may be an early warning signal for targeted-induced ILD, especially almonertinib-induced ILD. Timely intervention is needed to avoid greater harm when ILD occurs and, when ILD is effectively controlled, seize the opportunity to rechallenge the dual-targeted therapy may contribute to a better prognosis. AbstractIron oxide (Fe-O) has anti-tumor properties, due to its ability of catalyzing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) of tumor cells to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) and then cause ferroptosis. Its anti-tumor performance is restricted due to insufficient H2O2 in tumor cells. A nanomedicine, Au nanoparticles (NPs) grown on Fe-O, was integrated into poly-l-lactide (PLLA) scaffolds. Results indicated that Au NPs could consume glucose of tumor cells to produce H2O2, which supplemented reaction substrate. PLLA/Au@Fe-O scaffold showed enhanced anti-tumor activities against MG63, including increased mortality, decreased migration and colony formation. PLLA/Au@Fe-O scaffold promoted ferroptosis in MG63, including up-regulation of COX-2 protein, down-regulation of FTH1 protein and GPX4 protein. PLLA/Au@Fe-O scaffold also promoted autophagy in MG63, including down-regulation of P62 protein, and up-regulation of LC3BII/I. Polymers can be assembled into nanomaterials with different structures. Exploring new assembly methods for hydrophilic polymers in drug delivery is of significant importance. In this work, we further advanced this field by synthesizing novel polymeric nanoparticles via a Zn coordination-induced assembly mechanism. A new hydrophilic copolymer (polyethylene glycol-block-polyacrylic acid-modified-N-(3-aminopropyl)-imidazole (CH3O-PEG2000-b-PAA60-Imi)) was designed by efficiently coupling imidazole pendants onto the PAA chain within CH3O-PEG2000-b-PAA60. The coordination between the imidazole pendants and zinc ions induced the crosslinking of the resulting copolymers into polymeric nanoparticles (CH3O-PEG2000-b-PAA60-(Imi/Zn)). Exposure of the polymeric nanoparticles to slightly acidic conditions disrupted the coordination bond between the imidazole pendants and the zinc ions. The pH-responsive property led to the disintegration of the polymerized nanoparticles and the release of the drug. In vitro results further confirmed that the drug-loaded CH3O-PEG2000-b-PAA60-(Imi/Zn) exhibited toxicity to tumor cells. Accordingly, the coordination-induced assembly mechanism shows great promise for fabricating polymeric nanoparticles, particularly when the use of water as a solvent is essential. This study explores how the anthropomorphic attributes of service robots influence employees’ cognitive crafting through positive emotional responses, with particular attention to the moderating role of interaction frequency in this process. Two complementary research methods were designed for this study. After conducting a preliminary pilot experiment with 35 participants to initially validate our hypotheses, an experiment with 150 hospitality industry employees (Study 1) was conducted online to examine the hypothesized relations. Finally, a survey of 233 hotel employees (Study 2) was carried out online, and a moderated mediation model was used to analyze the relationships between robot anthropomorphism, interaction frequency, positive emotions, and cognitive crafting. The results show that the anthropomorphic features of service robots significantly enhance employees’ positive emotions, thereby promoting cognitive crafting, with increased interaction frequency further amplifying this mediating effect. Objective: The primary objective of this investigation was to assess the impact of acupuncture intervention and explore the intricacies of acupoint selection as a therapeutic strategy for chemotherapy-induced Anorexia (CIA). Method: Eight electronic databases were searched to identify relevant studies on the use of acupuncture for the treatment of CIA to conduct a comprehensive meta-analysis. Following this, the Apriori algorithm, correlation analysis, and cluster analysis were performed to identify correlations between the selection of acupoints. Results: Acupuncture significantly reduced the incidence of anorexia (RR = 0.76, 95%CI: 0.65, 0.90; I2=63%; p = 0.001; n = 503) and anorexia score (SMD=-0.33, 95%CI: −0.53, −0.14; I2=22%; p = 0.0008; n = 419), as well as preserved body mass (MD = 2.70, 95%CI: 1.08, 4.32; I2=0%; p = 0.001; n = 187) and enhanced physical strength (MD = 4.23, 95%CI: 1.90, 6.55; I2=58%; p = 0.0004; n = 377). Moreover, subgroup analysis highlighted its efficacy in managing anorexia associated with non-gastrointestinal tumors and mitigating the severity of cisplatin-induced anorexia. Meanwhile, Zusanli (ST36), Neiguan (PC6), Tianshu (ST25), Zhongwan (RN12), and Qihai (RN6) were identified as crucial acupoints in CIA management. Conclusion: Acupuncture holds promise as a potential non-pharmacological approach for managing anorexia during cancer chemotherapy. To provide robust evidence of its effectiveness, well-designed Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) with larger participant cohorts, and consistent core outcome measures are essential. The cervical cell classification technique can determine the degree of cellular abnormality and pathological condition, which can help doctors to detect the risk of cervical cancer at an early stage and improve the cure and survival rates of cervical cancer patients. Addressing the issue of low accuracy in cervical cell classification, a deep convolutional neural network A2SDNet121 is proposed. A2SDNet121 takes DenseNet121 as the backbone network. Firstly, the SE module is embedded in DenseNet121 to increase the model's focus on the nucleus region, which contains important diagnostic information, and reduce the focus on redundant information. Secondly, the sizes of the convolutional kernel and pooling window of the Stem layer are adjusted to adapt to the characteristics of the cervical cell images, so that the model can extract the local detailed information more effectively. Finally, the Atrous Dense Block (ADB) is constructed, and four ADB modules are integrated into DenseNet121 to enable the model to acquire global and local salient feature information. The accuracy of A2SDNet121 for two and seven-classification tasks on the Herlev dataset is 99.75% and 99.14%, respectively. The accuracy for two, three, and five-classification tasks on the SIPaKMeD dataset reaches 99.55%, 99.75% and 99.22%, respectively. Compared with other state-of-the-art algorithms, the A2SDNet121 model performs better in the multi-classification task of cervical cells, which can significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of cervical cancer screening. Abardia and Bernig proposed the notions of complex projection body and complex mixed projection body. In this paper, we introduce the concepts of the general complex Lp{L}_{p} projection body and complex Lp{L}_{p} mixed projection body. Furthermore, we establish the Brunn-Minkowski-type inequalities for the general complex Lp{L}_{p} projection bodies and the Aleksandrov-Fenchel-type inequalities for the general complex Lp{L}_{p} mixed projection bodies.
