A high birth weight discordance (BWD) places twins at high risks of adverse perinatal outcomes; however, there is no commonly accepted definition of intertwin BWD. Given that gestational age (GA) is closely associated with both BWD and adverse neonatal outcomes, the aim of our study is to develop a measure that takes both BWD and GA into account to define BWD and explore the potentially optimal delivery time in dichorionic twins, with the balance against the risk of intrauterine demise and adverse neonatal outcomes. About 99,000 mixed gender twin pairs from the US matched multiple birth file from 1995 to 2000 were enrolled in our study. We set up a two-dimensional matrix model to select the BWD cutoff point related to outcomes. The optimal delivery time was identified based on the risks of adverse neonatal outcomes and fetal death by GA. The combination of BWD and GA had a higher predictive performance for adverse neonatal outcomes than BWD alone (area under ROC curve (AUC): 0.816 vs. 0.523, p <.001). When GA was controlled for, the growth discordant cutoff point was BWD at the 40% level. The optimal delivery time suggested in dichorionic twins with BWD higher than 40% was identified at 33–34 gestational weeks. The combination of BWD and GA was a better predictor for adverse neonatal outcomes than BWD alone. It is highly desired yet an enormous challenge to exploit efficient catalysts for epoxide cycloaddition with carbon dioxide to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality. Herein, the novel heterogeneous catalysts of MIL-101-IL(RBr) (R = Et, Pr, Bu, and Pe) were synthesized by grafting polypyridyl-based ionic liquids (IL) into the nodes of MIL-101(Cr) through the post-synthetic modification of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). The octahedral MIL-101-IL(BuBr) with an average size of ca. 800 nm exhibited superior activity for catalyzing epichlorohydrin–CO2 cycloaddition into chloropropene carbonate, with an yield of 92% at 110 °C under 1.0 MPa CO2 without any cocatalyst and solvent. The excellent performance could be attributed to the nucleophilic nature of grafted ionic liquids in the MOF along with the effectiveness of mass transfer afforded by the MOF porosity. Moreover, MIL-101-IL(BuBr) presented a favorable versatility toward other epoxides and a satisfactory recyclability. Objective. The diagnostic value of CT window width technique in primary omentum infarction was evaluated by this study. Methods. The abdominal CT data of 32 patients with clinically diagnosed abdominal omentum infarction were retrospectively selected and analyzed. The fixed window position was 50 HU, and the window width was 135 HU, 250 HU (abdomen), 350 HU (mediastinum), and 500 HU, respectively. The detection rate of lesions was analyzed and compared. Results. Window widths of 135 HU, 250 HU (abdomen), 350 HU (mediastinum), and 500 HU have a detection rate of 12.5% (4 cases), 62.5% (20 cases), 100% (32 cases), 100% (32 cases) for abdominal omental lesions, respectively. However, 500 HU showed worse abdominal bowel and parenchymal organs than 350 HU. Conclusion. Many plant secondary substances are feeding deterrents for insects and play a key role in the selection of host plants. The taste sensilla of phytophagous insects contain gustatory receptor neurons sensitive to deterrents but the molecular basis of deterrent chemoreception remains unknown. We investigated the function of Gr180, the most highly expressed bitter gustatory receptor in the maxillary galea of Helicoverpa armigera larvae. Functional analyses using the Xenopus oocyte expression system and two-electrode voltage clamp revealed that the oocytes expressing Gr180 responded to coumarin. Tip recording results showed that the medial sensilla styloconica of the maxilla of fifth instar larvae exhibited electrophysiological responses to coumarin. Two-choice feeding bioassays confirmed that coumarin inhibited larval feeding. A homozygous mutant strain of H. armigera with truncated Gr180 proteins (Gr180−/−) was established using the CRISPR-Cas9 system. The responses of the medial sensilla styloconica in Gr180−/− to coumarin were almost abolished, and the responses to sinigrin and strychnine, were also significantly decreased. Knockout of Gr180 alleviated the feeding deterrent effects of coumarin, sinigrin, and strychnine. Thus, we conclude that Gr180 is a receptor responding to coumarin,and also participates in sensing sinigrin and strychnine. These results enhance our understanding of the gustatory coding mechanisms of phytophagous insects to deterrents. The cotton bollworm is a very serious crop pest in the Old World, and its caterpillars mainly feed on the reproductive organs of many host plants. Here, we study the function of a gustatory receptor, Gr180, highly expressed in the taste organ of Helicoverpa armigera caterpillars. The oocytes of frogs expressing Gr180 selectively responded to coumarin, a bitter compound widely exist in plants. When this gene was knocked out, the response of the deterrent cells in the medial styloconic sensilla to coumarin disappeared, and the responses to other two deterrents sinigrin and strychnine were also attenuated. However, the inhibitory effect of coumarin on the sucrose cells in the lateral styloconic sensilla was not affected. At the same time, the aversive feeding responses to these compounds were reduced in the knockout caterpillars. Simple Summary: Papaya mealybug, Paracoccus marginatus, is an important invasive pest worldwide, which attacks more than 200 host plants. Chlorfenapyr has been demonstrated to have a significant control effect on P. marginatus. To evaluate the long-term sublethal effects of chlorfenapyr on P. marginatus, the sublethal and transgenerational effects of chlorfenapyr on the biological traits and changes of enzyme activities of P. marginatus were investigated. The results showed that chlorfenapyr had significant effects on the development of subsequent generations of P. marginatus, and chlorfenapyr also activated the activities of SOD of P. marginatus. The results demonstrated that chlorfenapyr-mediated sublethal effects occur in at least two successive generations of P. marginatus. Therefore, it is necessary to reapply the chlorfenapyr prior to emergence of the F3 generation to suppress the population and prevent outbreaks of P. marginatus. Papaya mealybug, Paracoccus marginatus Williams and Granara de Willink (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae), is an economically important, invasive insect that is now distributed worldwide. Chlorfenapyr has been demonstrated to have a significant control effect on P. marginatus. In order to evaluate the sublethal and transgenerational effects of chlorfenapyr on P. marginatus, the life table data of three consecutive generations were collected and analyzed by the age stage, two-sex life table method, and the enzyme activities were assayed using a spectrophotometer. The results showed that exposure to the insecticide had significant effects on the biological traits of subsequent generations of P. marginatus, and a higher intrinsic rate of increase (r), finite rate of increase (λ), net reproductive rate (R0), and a shorter mean generation time (T) were observed in the chlorfenapyr-treated F1 mealybugs. Enzyme activity assays showed that chlorfenapyr significantly inhibited the activities of catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD) while activating the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), which suggested that SOD, CAT, and POD may play an important role in the self-defense of P. marginatus against chlorfenapyr. These results conclusively demonstrated that exposure of P. marginatus to sublethal concentrations of chlorfenapyr induced hormetic effects on the F1 generation while having negative effects on the F0 and F3 generations. Despite the profound roles of surface deformation monitoring techniques in observing permafrost surface stability, predetermining the approximate location and time of possibly occurring severe permafrost degradation before applying these techniques is extremely necessary, but has received little attention. Taking the oil tank collapse accident in the Norilsk region as a case, we explored this concern by analyzing the permafrost deformation mechanisms and determining early surface deformation signals. Regarding this case, we firstly applied the Small Baseline Subset Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (SBAS-InSAR) technique to obtain its permafrost surface deformation rate, then utilized a sine model to decompose its interannual deformation and seasonal deformation, and finally compared the relationship between the topographic slope and deformation rate. Based on experimental results, we reveal that when the annual average temperature continuously increases at a rate of 2 ° C/year for 2∼3 consecutive years, permafrost areas with relatively large topographic slopes (>15 ° ) are more prone to severe surface deformation during the summer thaw period. Therefore, this paper suggests that permafrost areas with large topographic slopes (>15 ° ) should be taken as the key surveillance areas, and that the appropriate monitoring time for employing surface deformation monitoring techniques should be the summer thawing period after a continuous increase in annual average temperature at a rate of 2 ° C/year for 2∼3 years. Acceleration, displacement, stress response, and other dynamic response topics are currently the key topics of research. Because uranium tailings reservoirs are radioactive, earthquakes can also cause radon to be released. In order to monitor the acceleration response, displacement (both surface and interior), and radon exhalation rate of the dam body of the uranium tailings reservoir under various seismic peak accelerations, the shaker model test is used. When the peak acceleration is 0.7 g, the displacement swings even more visibly, and when the peak acceleration is 1.0 g, the surface of the dam shows clear fissures. However, the radon response will be quicker and stronger, and as the acceleration of the seismic peak keeps rising, the response gets stronger and stronger. As a result, the dynamic reaction can also be determined from the radon response. The findings of the tests can be used as a guide for the safe and stable operation of uranium tailings reservoirs. Objective: We aim to familiarize the application status of metagenomic sequencing in diagnosing pulmonary infections, to compare metagenomic sequencing with traditional diagnostic methods, to conclude the advantages and limitations of metagenomic sequencing, and to provide some advice for clinical practice and some inspiration for associated researches. Data Sources: The data were obtained from peer‐reviewed literature, white papers, and meeting reports. Results: This review focused on the applications of untargeted metagenomic sequencing in lungs infected by bacteria, viruses, fungi, chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, parasites, and other pathogens. Compared with conventional diagnostic methods, metagenomic sequencing is better in detecting novel, rare, and unexpected pathogens and being applied in co‐infections. Meanwhile, it can also provide more comprehensive information about pathogens. However, metagenomic sequencing still has limitations. Also, the situations that should be applied in and how the results should be interpreted are discussed in this review. Conclusion: Metagenomic sequencing improves efficiency to identify pathogens compared with traditional diagnostic methods and can be applied in clinical diagnosis. However, the technology of metagenomic sequencing still needs to be improved. Also, clinicians should learn more about when to use metagenomic sequencing and how to interpret its results. Enzymes are powerful biological catalysts for natural substrates but they have low catalytic efficiency for non-natural substrates. Protein engineering can be used to optimize enzymes for catalysis and stability. 3α-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/carbonyl reductase (3α-HSD/CR) catalyzes the oxidoreduction reaction of NAD+ with androsterone. Based on the structure and catalytic mechanism, we mutated the residues of T11, I13, D41, A70, and I112 and they interacted with different portions of NAD+ to switch cofactor specificity to biomimetic cofactor nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN+). Compared to wild-type 3α-HSD/CR, the catalytic efficiency of these mutants for NAD+ decreased significantly except for the T11 mutants but changed slightly for NMN+ except for the A70K mutant. The A70K mutant increased the catalytic efficiency for NMN+ by 8.7-fold, concomitant with a significant decrease in NAD+ by 1.4 × 104-fold, resulting in 9.6 × 104-fold cofactor specificity switch toward NMN+ over NAD+. Meanwhile, the I112K variant increased the thermal stability and changed to a three-state transition from a two-state transition of thermal unfolding of wild-type 3α-HSD/CR by differential scanning fluorimetry. Molecular docking analysis indicated that mutations on these residues affect the position and conformation of the docked NAD+ and NMN+, thereby affecting their activity. A70K variant sterically blocks the binding with NAD+, restores the H-bonding interactions of catalytic residues of Y155 and K159 with NMN+, and enhances the catalytic efficiency for NMN+. Background: The enduring presence of COVID-19 and subsequent increasing incidence of COVID-19 reinfection has prompted evaluation of associated risk factors, particularly the role of immunosuppression. Objective: The objective of this study was to characterize cases indicative of COVID-19 reinfection with respect to their reported use of immunosuppressant/immunomodulating agents. Methods: This cross-sectional observational study leveraged the Pfizer global safety database (SDB) containing adverse event data collected in association with use of Pfizer products between 1 October 2019, and 30 June 2022. Selected Medical Dictionary for Drug Regulatory Activities (MedDRA®) Preferred Terms were used to identify COVID-19 cases; the search was further refined to comprise cases that subsequently reported events potentially indicative of COVID-19 reinfection. Results: Of the cumulative total of 218,242 COVID-19 cases reported into the SDB, 4590 cases (2.1%) involving potential COVID-19 reinfection were identified. Of these 4590 cases of potential Covid-19 reinfection, a total of 134 cases reported COVID-19 specifically during treatment with pharmaceutical products, of which approximately 16% (21/134) of cases reported use of immunosuppressant/immunomodulating agents. Likewise, in the overall dataset (213,652 cases; excluding the 4590 cases involving potential COVID-19 recurrence), the percentage of reported immunosuppressant/immunomodulating agents was low (12%). In applying similar parameters to a dataset that excludes COVID-19 vaccine cases, 18% of cases reported use of immunosuppressant/immunomodulating agents (similar to the aforementioned 16% of cases reported from the overall total dataset that was inclusive of vaccine cases). Conclusion: This pharmacovigilance study provides a characterization of cases indicative of COVID-19 reinfection with respect to reported use of immunosuppressant/immunomodulating agents. The observations generated from this cross-sectional observational analysis may prompt further research into the role of immunosuppression in COVID-19 reinfection, in an effort to better inform clinical practice and patient management. Vδ2+ γδ T cell, one of promising strategies for tumor immunotherapy, recognizes and kills cancer cells in a non-MHC dependent manner. Previously, we pioneeringly proved the clinical safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vδ2+ γδ T cells, in vitro expanded from healthy donors, in the treatment of late-stage cancer patients. Nevertheless, how to profoundly potentiate cytotoxic function of expanded Vδ2+ γδ T cells remains to be further explored. Here, we proposed that 40 °C-Shock could be a simple and reliable approach to in vitro boost the effector function. We found that 40 °C-shock could phosphorylate two MAPK proteins ERK and p38 through HSP70, which facilitated actyl-α-tubulin and actin augments and reorganization, elevated Ki-67 expression and cell surface adhesion, and promoted releases of cytokines IFN-γ, perforin and granzyme B, as well as downregulated LAG3 expression. We also observed 40 °C-shock induced elevations of mitochondrial metabolism. These altogether led to potentiated cytotoxic responses against cancer cells. This proof-of-concept work demonstrated that 40 °C-shock would be probably developed into an effective method to in vitro boost the cytotoxicity of Vδ2+ γδ T cell before applying it in immunotherapy, and provided scientific evidences for the view that fever can activate immune responses of innate immune cells. Objective: Evaluation of sagittal pelvic tilt is significant for hip surgeons. However, the accurate measurement of pelvic sagittal inclination (PSI) is still a challenge. The objective of this study is to propose a new method for measurement of PSI from pelvic anteroposterior radiograph based on the inverse cosine function obtained from individualized pelvic model. Methods: Collecting the imaging data of 30 patients with both pelvic CT and full‐length spine radiographs. Establishing pelvic model by customized 3D reconstruction software. The length of three groups of longitudinal and transverse line segments (A′p and B′) were measured from full‐length spine anteroposterior radiographs. The corresponding anatomical parameters, including A, B, b, ∠α, ∠γ, were measured and calculated on the same patient's pelvic model. The estimated PSI (ePSI) based on three groups of anatomical landmarks, including ePSI‐1, ePSI‐2, and ePSI‐3, were calculated by equation, ePSI=arccosA′pb*B′−∠α, and compared with the actual PSI (aPSI) measured by Surgamap software. For the reliability and validation evaluation, three observers measured these parameters in two rounds. Intra‐class correlation and inter‐class correlation were both calculated. Bland–Altman method was used to evaluate the consistency between the estimated PSI (ePSI) and the actual PSI (aPSI). Results: ePSI‐1 and ePSI‐2 showed excellent intra‐observer reliability (0.921–0.997, p < 0.001) and inter‐observer reliability (0.801–0.977, p < 0.001). ePSI‐3 had a fair inter‐observer reliability (0.239–0.823, p < 0.001). ePSI‐1 showed the strongest correlation with aPSI (r = 0.917, p < 0.001). Mean (maximum) absolute difference of ePSI‐1, ePSI‐2, and ePSI‐3 is 2.62° (7.42°), 4.23° (13.78°), and 7.74° (31.47°), respectively. The proportion of cases with absolute difference less than 5° in three groups were 86.7% (ePSI‐1), 66.7% (ePSI‐2), 56.7% (ePSI‐3). Accurate and effective wind power prediction plays an important role in wind power generation, distribution, and management. Inthis paper, a hybrid algorithm based on gradient descent and meta-heuristic optimization is designed to improve the accuracy of prediction and reduce the computational burden. The hybrid algorithm includes three steps: in the first step, we use the gradient descent algorithm to get the initial parameters. Secondly, we input the initial parameters into the meta-heuristic optimization algorithm to search for the "best parameters" (high-quality inferior solutions). Finally, we input optimized parameters into the RMSProp optimization algorithm and conduct gradient descent again to find a better solution. We used 2021 wind power data from Guangxi, China for the experiment. Background: Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is an inherited arteriopathy typically caused by mutations in the NOTCH-3 gene. Few detailed descriptions of recurrent generalized seizures in CADASIL has been reported.Case Presentation: This article details a case of recurrent generalized seizures, which eventually be diagnosed as CADASIL with a heterozygous variant, c.1630 C > T (p. Arg544Cys), in exon 11 of the Notch 3 gene. Here, we discussed the possible pathogenesis underlying the epilepsy associated with CADASIL through the brain magnetic resonance imaging changes and the captured epileptiform waves in the electroencephalography during the patient's follow-up period. Related literatures were also reviewed to discuss the etiology of the epilepsy.Conclusions: Recurrent generalized seizures may be a presenting neurological manifestation of CADASIL in the absence of other discernible causes. For patients with colorectal cancer, minimally invasive surgical methods, particularly laparoscopic methods, are now the preferred course of therapy. This research is performed to investigate the effects of laparoscopic radical resection on patients with colorectal cancer. A total of 100 colorectal cancer patients treated in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were enrolled. The subjects were divided into observation (n = 50) and control (n = 50) groups and treated with laparoscopic surgery and laparotomy, respectively. As well as postoperative complications and survival rates, the levels of inflammatory substances, stress response, immunological function, and perioperative markers were compared between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the postoperative exhaust time between the two groups (P > 0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group showed longer operation time, faster recovery of intestinal function, shorter hospital stay, and less intraoperative bleeding amount (P < 0.05). The serum contents of hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, norepinephrine, adrenaline, and cortisol at 1 d, 3 d, and 5 d after surgery were significantly higher than before in both groups (P < 0.05). Moreover, the serum contents of hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, norepinephrine, adrenaline, and cortisol in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). At 10 days following surgery, immune index levels had dramatically increased in both groups, with noticeably higher immune index levels in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). There were no appreciable differences in the two groups' 2-year survival rates (P > 0.05), but the complication rate was much greater in the control group (P < 0.05). To sum up, after laparoscopic surgery, patients had fewer complications, shorter hospital stay, lower inflammatory factor expression, less stress response, better immune function, less trauma, faster recovery, and improved quality of life. Mining under the sea is a challenging task in China. Affected by blasting, tunneling, and other engineering disturbance, surrounding rock is often in a state of cyclic loading and unloading stress. In this study, in order to investigate the effect of cyclic loading and unloading on the deformation and damage characteristics of sandstone underneath the Bohai Sea, the GCTS test machine is used to conduct cyclic loading and unloading tests on sandstone. The results show that under cyclic loading and unloading compression, the stress-strain curves of sandstone form a hysteresis loop. The axial residual deformation first decreases, then increases with the increase of cycle number and unloading stress level. Both the circumferential residual strain and volumetric residual strain decrease with the increase of cycle number and unloading stress level. The axial elastic deformation increases with the increase of the cyclic number and cyclic load. The volume deformation first increases, then decreases, and the circumferential strain gradually decreases. In the process of cyclic loading and unloading, the loading elastic modulus gradually increases. Affected by damage, the unloading stress difference of sandstone initially increases with the increase of cycles. Next, the effects of cycle number and unloading stress level on the damage parameters of sandstone are analyzed. Before brittle failure of the specimen, the absolute damage parameters of axial, circumferential, and volume show an increasing trend, and the increase rates of circumferential damage parameters and volume damage parameters suddenly increase, which is also the precursor of the sandstone specimen's instability failure. Occupying the same crucial position as land resources, ecological resources originate from the marine system nourish various aspects of human welfare and the world economy. It is significant to apply efficient decision-making approaches, which assist with the achievements of sustainable development and environmental protection. This paper aims to review decision-making approaches in marine management and present a comprehensive bibliometric study. To achieve this goal, bibliometric analysis is used to analyze the current status and emerging trends in this field, including the cluster network, the collaboration network, and burst detection. The results show that the number of publications in this field has increased rapidly, and it has become an increasing interdisciplinary research subject. Besides, marine conservation is the largest clusterand the USA is the most productive country in marine management research and the marine policy and NOAA are the most productive journal and institution, respectively. Furthermore, "Diversity," "Management," and "Population" are the most influential keywords, and "People" and "Public participation" are the emerging trends in decision-making and marine management. Our work clarifies where we are now in terms of marine management and decision-making and how do they serve each other to achieve sustainable development. More importantly, some deep insights could be given that motivate researchers to learn the connections and collaborations between natural science and social study, which is our effort to deal with the social-ecological obstacle as well. Growth-regulating factors (GRFs) are plant-specific transcription factors that play essential roles in regulating plant growth and stress response. The GRF gene families have been described in several terrestrial plants, but a comprehensive analysis of these genes in diverse aquatic species has not been reported yet. In this study, we identified 130 GRF genes in 13 aquatic plants, including floating plants (Azolla filiculoides, Wolffia australiana, Lemna minuta, Spirodela intermedia, and Spirodela polyrhiza), floating-leaved plants (Nymphaea colorata and Euryale ferox), submersed plants (Zostera marina, Ceratophyllum demersum, Aldrovanda vesiculosa, and Utricularia gibba), an emergent plant (Nelumbo nucifera), and an amphibious plant (Cladopus chinensis). The gene structures, motifs, and cis-acting regulatory elements of these genes were analyzed. Phylogenetic analysis divided these GRFs into five clusters, and ABRE cis-elements were highly enriched in the promoter region of the GRFs in floating plants. We found that abscisic acid (ABA) is efficient at inducing the turion of Spirodela polyrhiza (giant duckweed), accompanied by the fluctuated expression of SpGRF genes in their fronds. It is a long‐standing challenge to control the geometry of multi‐substituted vinylphosphates. Herein, an efficient method for the synthesis of 2,2‐disubstituted vinylphosphonates has been reported. The reaction proceeded via aryl to vinyl 1,4‐palladium migration progress, in which two difficulties that the deactivation of palladium catalyst by the coordination of excess secondary phosphine oxide and the competitive cross‐coupling to form arylphosphonates are successfully overcome. Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV) is an important pathogen that seriously influences the productivity of small ruminants worldwide. PPRV is lymphotropic in nature and SLAM was identified as the primary receptor for PPRV and other Morbilliviruses. Many viruses have been demonstrated to engage extracellular vesicles (EVs) to facilitate their replication and pathogenesis. Here, we provide evidence that PPRV infection significantly induced the secretion levels of EVs from goat PBMC, and that PPRV-H protein carried in EVs can enhance SLAM receptor expression in the recipient cells via suppressing miR-218, a negative miRNA directly targeting SLAM gene. Importantly, EVs-mediated increased SLAM expression enhances PPRV infectivity as well as the expression of various cytokines related to SLAM signaling pathway in the recipient cells. Moreover, our data reveal that PPRV associate EVs rapidly entry into the recipient cells mainly through macropinocytosis pathway and cooperated with caveolin- and clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Taken together, our findings identify a new strategy by PPRV to enhance virus infection and escape innate immunity by engaging EVs pathway. Surgical repair of esophageal perforation is a challenging procedure with a high risk of secondary complications, such as early esophageal leakage and late esophageal stricture, which can significantly reduce the patient's quality of life. A 34-year-old man underwent anterior cervical corpectomy decompression and fusion. On the ninth day post-operation, the patient developed fever and neck swelling. A computed tomography scan of the neck showed multiple subcutaneous pneumatosis. An esophageal perforation of approximately 1.5 cm in diameter was identified by esophagoscopy. During the operation, the fistula was first located using an esophagoscope. The distal end of the esophagoscope was then placed into the stomach to support the damaged segment of the esophagus. The esophageal mucosa was sutured under the microscope, and the perforation was successfully repaired. Postoperatively, the patient's body temperature decreased, and the infection indexes gradually returned to normal. Three months after the operation, the esophagoscopic review showed complete healing of the perforation. Esophagoscopy plays an important role in diagnosing and repairing esophageal perforations. The esophagoscope provides direct visualization of the perforation during diagnosis and detects smaller and not yet fully penetrated esophageal injuries. During the repair process, the esophagoscope immobilizes the esophagus, prevents its movement and facilitates suturing, maintains proper dilatation of the esophagus, provides space for suturing, and prevents esophageal stricture. Objective: To compare the effectiveness and safety of high‐intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) versus uterine artery chemoembolization with methotrexate for the management of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP). Methods: A total of 170 women with CSP were enrolled in the retrospective cohort study from April 2016 to September 2020. One hundred women received HIFU followed by suction curettage, and 70 women were treated with uterine artery chemoembolization followed by suction curettage. Results: The median blood loss during suction curettage was 20 ml (range 2–800 ml) in the HIFU group versus 20 ml (range 5–200 ml) in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.837). The mean time for β‐human chorionic gonadotropin normalization was 28.52 ± 10.82 days versus 26.69 ± 8.97 days (P = 0.246), respectively. The mean time of menstruation recovery was 34.36 ± 10.63 days versus 31.93 ± 8.53 days (P = 0.114), respectively. The incidence of adverse effects in the HIFU group was lower than that in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.028). The median hospitalization time in the HIFU group was longer than that in the chemoembolization group (P = 0.000). Conclusion: HIFU was as effective and safe as uterine artery chemoembolization in the management of CSP, and the incidence of adverse effects was lower. Probabilistic Uncertain Linguistic Term Set (PULTS), as an emerging and effective linguistic expression tool, can appropriately describe the complex evaluation information of decision makers. The cloud model is powerful in handling complex cognitive linguistic information, based on which, this paper proposes two new Multicriteria Decision-Making (MCDM) Methods with PULTSs. Firstly, to avoid the problem of information loss in traditional linguistic conversion methods, Probabilistic Uncertainty Trapezium Cloud (PUTC) is proposed to quantify linguistic evaluation information. Secondly, the Probabilistic Uncertainty Trapezium Cloud Weighted Bonferroni mean (PUTCWBM) operator is defined, while presenting a new cloud score function and similarity measures. Additionally, two ranking methods are proposed, one on the basis of the similarity measures of PUTCs and ideal solutions, the other on the basis of the PUTCWBM operator and the cloud score function. Finally, the two methods are verified with an example of evaluation on masks, and the effectiveness and superiority of the methods are further illustrated through sensitivity analysis and method comparison. Objective: Marketing, label design, and product innovation strategies are being used by the alcohol industry to position some products as "healthier choices." The aim of this study was to systematically document the content and prevalence of health-oriented marketing on alcohol products on the Australian market and to compare the online availability of nutrition information and the alcohol and nutrient content between products with and without such features. Method: Health-oriented marketing features on all beer, cider, and ready-to-drink (RTD) premixed drinks, and selected wines on the website of the largest liquor retailer in Australia were audited using a systematic coding protocol. Nutrition information was sought from manufacturer/brand websites. Results: A total of 54% of beers, ciders, and RTDs featured health-oriented marketing, the most common forms being natural imagery or descriptors, or references to fruit ingredients. Twenty-one percent of audited wines featured health-oriented marketing. The prevalence of specific features varied by product category. Online availability of nutrition information for alcohol products was poor (12% of beer, cider, and RTDs). Products with health-oriented marketing were lower in energy and alcohol content than those without but were still classed as full-strength alcohol on average. Conclusions: Health-oriented marketing is prevalent on alcohol products sold in Australia. In the absence of universal and standardized health warning and energy content information on labels, permitted health-oriented marketing has the potential to mislead consumers about product healthiness or to detract from the perceived harm associated with alcohol consumption. Automatic parking path optimization is a key point for automatic parking. However, it is difficult to obtain the smooth, accurate and optimal parking path by using traditional automatic parking optimization algorithms. So, based on the automatic parking path optimization model for cubic spline interpolation, an improved automatic parking path optimization based on the immune moth flame algorithm is proposed for intelligent vehicles. Firstly, to enhance the global optimization performance, an automatic parking path optimization model for cubic spline interpolation is designed by using shortest parking path as optimization target. Secondly, an improved immune moth flame algorithm (IIMFO) based on the immune mechanism, Gaussian mutation mechanism and opposition-based learning strategy is proposed, and an adaptive decreasing inertia weight coefficient is integrated into the moth flame algorithm so that these strategies can improve the balance quality between global search and local development effectively. Finally, the optimization results on the several common test functions show that the IIMFO algorithm proposed in this paper has higher optimization precision. Furthermore, the simulation and semi-automatic experiment results of automatic parking path optimization practical cases show that the improved automatic parking path optimization based on the immune moth flame algorithm for intelligent vehicles has a better optimization effect than that of the traditional automatic parking optimization algorithms. The dispersion of silica dioxide (SiO2)/sodium lauryl sulfate (SDS) has been widely used in hydrocarbon reservoirs, but its instability is still a problem in practical engineering applications. The dispersion morphology of SiO2 nanoparticles before and after modification was studied by TEM, and the thermal stability of different foam dispersions was evaluated by FoamScan. In this paper, the mechanism of foam stability was investigated by combining the measurement of interfacial energy of nanoparticles at the gas–liquid interface with dynamics simulation of molecular diffusion. The results showed that SiO2/SDS dispersions had good thermal stability due to the synergistic effect of SiO2 nanoparticles and SDS. The addition of SiO2 nanoparticles improved the interfacial energy and interfacial activity at the gas–liquid interface, meanwhile limited the movement of SDS molecules and water molecules, which was beneficial for foam stability. Notably, the addition of modified SiO2 nanoparticles further enhanced the interfacial energy at the gas–liquid interface and strengthened the restriction of water/SDS molecular movement, thereby slowing down the drainage and decay of the foam dispersions. Bronchial asthma (BA) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airway. Previous research has shown that Yanghe Pingchuan granules (YPGs) exert a precise therapeutic effect on BA. In our previous work, we showed that YPGs improved inflammation of the airways in rat models of BA. Other studies have shown that the pathogenesis of BA is closely related to pyroptosis and that the TOLL-like receptor pathway plays a key role in the mediation of pyroptosis. Therefore, in the present study, we established a rat model of BA by applying the concept of pyroptosis and used the TLR4/NF-κB/NRLP3 signaling pathway as the target and YPGs as the treatment method. We evaluated the effects of YPGs on airway inflammation and pyroptosis in the model rats by HE staining, Masson's staining, AP-PAS staining, western blotting, and real-time quantitative PCR. The results showed that Yanghe Pingchuan granules could significantly improve the inflammatory response of bronchial tissue in BA rats, reduce the content of inflammatory factors IL-1β and IL-18, and inhibit the expression of pyroptosis factor. Meanwhile, YPG can block the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway. These findings suggest that YPG may be an effective drug for the treatment of BA by blocking the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway and inhibiting pyroptosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is a challenging and key issue in the mobile robotic fields. In terms of the visual SLAM problem, the direct methods are more suitable for more expansive scenes with many repetitive features or less texture in contrast with the feature-based methods. However, the robustness of the direct methods is weaker than that of the feature-based methods. To deal with this problem, an improved direct sparse odometry with loop closure (LDSO) is proposed, where the performance of the SLAM system under the influence of different imaging disturbances of the camera is focused on. In the proposed method, a method based on the side window strategy is proposed for preprocessing the input images with a multilayer stacked pixel blender. Then, a variable radius side window strategy based on semantic information is proposed to reduce the weight of selected points on semistatic objects, which can reduce the computation and improve the accuracy of the SLAM system based on the direct method. Various experiments are conducted on the KITTI dataset and TUM RGB-D dataset to test the performance of the proposed method under different camera imaging disturbances. The quantitative and qualitative evaluations show that the proposed method has better robustness than the state-of-the-art direct methods in the literature. The allotrope of carbon, biphenylene, was prepared experimentally recently [Fan et al., Science 372, 852–856 (2021)]. In this Letter, we perform first-principles simulation to understand the bonding nature and structure stability of the possible in-plane heterostructure built by graphene and biphenylene. We found that the graphene–biphenylene in-plane heterostructure only exhibits along the armchair direction, which is connected together by strong covalent bonds and energetically stable. Then, the non-equilibrium molecular dynamics calculations are used to explore the interfacial thermal properties of the graphene/biphenylene heterostructure. It is found that the graphene/biphenylene in-plane heterostructure possesses an excellent interfacial thermal conductance of 2.84 × 109 W·K−1·m−2 at room temperature. Importantly, the interfacial thermal conductance presents different temperature dependence under opposite heat flux direction. This anomalous temperature dependence results in increased thermal rectification ratio with temperature about 40% at 350 K. This work provides comprehensive insight into the graphene–biphenylene heterostructure and suggests a route for designing a thermal rectifier with high efficiency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) directly activates the transcription of metabolic enzymes in response to hypoxia to reprogram cellular metabolism required for tumor cell proliferation. Through analyzing glutamate-linked aminotransferases, we here identified glutamate pyruvate transaminase 2 (GPT2) as a direct HIF-2 target gene in human glioblastoma (GBM). Hypoxia upregulated GPT2 mRNA and protein levels in GBM cells, which required HIF-2 but not HIF-1. HIF-2 directly bound to the hypoxia response element of the human GPT2 gene, leading to its transcription in hypoxic GBM cells. GPT2 located at the nucleus and mitochondria and reduced α-ketoglutarate levels in GBM cells. Genetic or pharmacological inhibition of GPT2 decreased GBM cell growth and migration under normoxia and hypoxia. Knockout of GPT2 inhibited GBM tumor growth in mice. Combining the characteristics of hybrid perovskites and layered materials, 2D Ruddlesden–Popper perovskites exhibit unique properties, some of which still require to be deeply understood. In this study, the vibrational signatures of such materials are analyzed by collecting experimental Raman spectra of four distinct compounds. Supported by density functional theory simulations, the role of the phenyl spacer single fluorination on the phonon modes of two similar yet different compounds, i.e., phenethylammonium lead iodide (PEAI) and 4‐fluorophenethylammonium lead iodide (PEAI‐F), is explained. In addition, this work analyzes some so‐far unreported experimental Raman peaks in the 600–1100 cm−1 range and discusses their origin in this class of 2D compounds. Background: Distinguishing patients at a greater risk of recurrence is essential for treating locoregional advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). This study aimed to explore the potential of aldo-keto reductase 1C4 (AKR1C4) in stratifying patients at high risk of locoregional relapse.Methods: A total of 179 patients with locoregionally advanced NPC were grouped by different strategies; they were: (a) divided into two groups according to AKR1C4 expression level, and (b) classified into three clusters by integrating AKR1C4 and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate locoregional relapse-free survival (LRFS), overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS). The Cox proportional hazards model was used to determine potential prognostic factors, and a nomogram was generated to predict 3-year and 5-year LRFS.Results: A significant difference in the 5-year LRFS was observed between the high and low AKR1C4 expression groups (83.3% vs. 92.7%, respectively; p = 0.009). After integrating AKR1C4 expression and EBV DNA, the LRFS (84.7%, 84.5%, 96.9%, p = 0.014) of high-, intermediate-, and low- AKR1C4 and EBV DNA was also significant. Multivariate analysis indicated that AKR1C4 expression (p = 0.006) was an independent prognostic factor for LRFS. The prognostic factors incorporated into the nomogram were AKR1C4 expression, T stage, and EBV DNA, and the concordance index of the nomogram for locoregional relapse was 0.718.Conclusions: In conclusion, high AKR1C4 expression was associated with a high possibility of relapse in NPC patients, and integrating EBV DNA and AKR1C4 can stratify high-risk patients with locoregional recurrence. Aim: To determine whether the use of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) improves the pregnancy outcomes in women with inherited thrombophilia by conducting a meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials and observational studies. Methods: A systematic literature search of several databases was conducted through September 19, 2020 to identify relevant studies. The outcomes of interest included live birth and adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs). The overall risk estimates were pooled using random‐effects meta‐analysis. Results: Ten randomized controlled trials and 12 cohort studies were included. In the meta‐analyses of randomized controlled trials, the effectiveness of LMWH‐treatment was found to be statistically significant in decreasing the risk of APOs (risk ratio [RR] = 0.76; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.61–0.95; p = 0.020), rather than in increasing the rate of live birth (RR = 1.12; 95% CI: 0.93–1.34; p = 0.230). In the meta‐analyses of cohort studies, results showed that the use of LMWH was associated with a significantly higher proportion of live birth (RR = 1.86; 95% CI: 1.09–3.19; p = 0.020) as well as a significantly lower ratio of APOs (RR = 0.46; 95% CI: 0.31–0.69; p < 0.001) in women with inherited thrombophilia. Conclusions: The use of LMWH may have a potentially beneficial effect on reducing the risk of APOs and even increasing the live birth rate in women with inherited thrombophilia. Further well‐designed clinical trials with large samples are needed to address the role of LMWH in improving pregnancy outcomes among pregnant women with inherited thrombophilia. Epialleles, the heritable epigenetic variants that are not caused by changes in DNA sequences, can broaden genetic and phenotypic diversity and benefit to crop breeding, but very few epialleles related to agricultural traits have been identified in maize. Here, we cloned a small kernel mutant, smk-wl10 , from maize, which encoded a tubulin-folding cofactor B (ZmTFCB) protein. Expression of the ZmTFCB gene decreased in the smk-wl10 mutant, which arrested embryo, endosperm and basal endosperm transfer layer developments. Overexpression of ZmTFCB could complement the defective phenotype of smk-wl10. No nucleotide sequence variation in ZmTFCB could be found between smk-wl10 and wild type (WT). Instead, we detected hypermethylation of nucleotide CHG (where H is A, C or T nucleotide) sequence contexts and increased level of histone H3K9me2 methylation in the upstream sequence of ZmTFCB in smk-wl10 compared with WT, which might respond to the attenuating transcription of ZmTFCB. In addition, yeast two-hybrid and bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays identified a strong interaction between ZmTFCB and its homolog ZmTFCE. Thus, our work identifies a novel epiallele of the maize ZmTFCB gene, which might represent a common phenomenon in the epigenetic regulation of important traits such as kernel development in maize. A multi-stage pressurized vertical electro-osmotic dewatering (MS-PVEOD) were designed to break through the dewaterability limit of pressurized vertical electro-osmotic dewatering (PVEOD) process and reduce energy consumption (EC). The effects of mechanical pressure and voltage on sludge moisture content (MC) are studied. The sludge MC can be reduced to 44.6 % and 54.7 % respectively after MS-PVEOD (0–2–3.5 MPa) and PVEOD (2–2–2 MPa) process dewatering under 40 V, and the total EC of the former is 33 % lower than that of the latter. The sludge morphology, electric current, protein (PN) and polysaccharide (PS) content and fluorescence spectrum of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) were analyzed. The PN/PS of the sludge treated by the MS-PVEOD process is 16.3 % higher than that of the PVEOD process, and 20.0 % higher than that of the raw sludge (RS). The three-dimensional fluorescence spectrum (3D-EEM) showed that the fluorescence of hydrophilic fulvic acid and humus decreased more than that of hydrophobic tryptophan protein and tyrosine protein. The present work may be helpful to understand the dewatering mechanism of MS-PVEOD and provides some useful technical guidance for the industrial application of efficient deep dewatering of sludge. • The MS-PVEOD process achieves sludge MC of 44.6 %. • The energy consumption of MS-PVEOD process is 33 % lower than that of the PVEOD process when DS is 45 %. • The ratio of VSS/TSS decreased by 33.59 % after MS-PVEOD process by destroying the organic matter and EPS structure. We study the tight upper bound of the transient mean waiting time in the classical GI/GI/1 queue over candidate interarrival-time distributions with finite support, given the first two moments of the interarrival time and the full service-time distribution. We formulate the problem as a non-convex nonlinear program. We derive the gradient of the transient mean waiting time and then show that a stationary point of the optimization can be characterized by a linear program. We develop and apply a stochastic variant of the Frank and Wolfe (Naval Res Logist Q 3:95–110, 1956) algorithm to find a stationary point for any given service-time distribution. We also establish necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for stationary points to be three-point distributions or special two-point distributions. Shenlingbaizhu (SLBZ) formula, a classical traditional Chinese medicinal (TCM) formula, has been widely used for treating antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD). However, the underlying pharmacological mechanisms have not yet been investigated thoroughly. To explore the remission mechanism of SLBZ in the treatment of AAD, we conducted network pharmacological analysis and experimental validation in vitro and in vivo. In this study, the main compounds of SLBZ were identified by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy (UHPLC-MS) and online databases. The targets of the active components and AAD-related targets were predicted by network pharmacology, and the potential targets of SLBZ against AAD were obtained. Then the core targets were recognized after Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) analysis. Based on these, gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) signaling pathway analyses were conducted, and the key pathway was screened. Subsequently, molecular docking was performed using Auto Dock Vina to find the key components that played a crucial role in that pathway. Molecular dynamics simulation was performed by Gromacs software to detect the binding mode. Finally, the results were confirmed by in vitro and in vivo experiments. A total of 66 active ingredients of SLBZ were detected by UHPLC-MS, and 128 active ingredients were screened out by network pharmacological analysis. Additionally, 935 drug targets and 1686 AAD-related targets were obtained. Seventy-eight intersected genes were selected as potential therapeutic targets and 19 genes were excavated as core targets. Enrichment analysis revealed PI3K-AKT signaling pathway was the key pathway in SLBZ against AAD. Topological analysis further revealed that JAK2, MTOR, TLR4, and SYK were the key targets affected by SLBZ on the PI3K-AKT pathway, and 52 components of SLBZ were associated with them. Molecular docking and dynamics simulation revealed strong binding affinities between MTOR and diosgenin. Subsequently, after SLBZ treatment, the expression levels of JAK2, MTOR, TLR4, and SYK were found significantly upregulated in the AAD model rats (p < 0.05). The cell experiment further validated the good binding ability between MTOR and diosgenin. We demonstrate that the therapeutic effect of SLBZ on AAD was achieved in part by inhibiting the PI3K-AKT pathway. The effect of grain size on the underlying dynamics of void evolution in a nanocrystalline (NC) Ni was dissected. Multiscale characterizations reveal that, unlike the suppression of void nucleation by the compressive stress in coarse-grained Ni, dispersive nano- and micro-voids formed readily in NC Ni during compression. Acoustic emission measurements and molecular dynamic simulations demonstrate that the unique structural features and deformation mechanics implicitly occurring in NC metals play multifaceted roles during void evolution. Although the presence of excessive nucleation sites, such as grain boundaries and triple junctions, together with the activation of intergranular plasticity facilitate void nucleation, high interface population retards dislocation-driven void expansion, resulting in sluggish void growth and a corresponding delay of coalescence avalanches. The concentration of epoxy resin can outstandingly affect the performance of hot-mixed epoxy asphalt binders. A standard measuring procedure of tensile performance for plastics is applied to investigate epoxy asphalt binders influenced by different dosages of epoxy. The rheological performances and microscope structure evolution process influenced by hot mixed epoxy dosage are investigated by dynamic shear rheometer and laser scanning confocal microscopy respectively. The consequences manifest that the flexibility and anti-rutting ability of epoxy asphalt binders is raised accompanied by raising the dosage of epoxy resin are founded by long time of creep, creep and recovery. Dynamic shear rheometer temperature scans showed that epoxy asphalt binders exhibited excellent thermal stability within the scope of −20 °C and 120 °C, when the amount of epoxy resin is no less than 40%. It was observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy that the three-dimensional crosslinked network structure was gradually shaped when the epoxy resin concentration was no less than 40%. These experimental results demonstrated that the excellent performances of epoxy asphalt binders are obtained when the concentration of epoxy resin is no less than 40%. From the viewpoint of epoxy asphalt mixtures, the optimal mixture performances are acquired, when the concentration of epoxy resin is no less than 40%. Current limitations in mechanical performance and foreign body reactions (FBR) often lead to implant failure, restricting the application of bioceramic scaffolds. This study presents a novel 3D-printed scaffold that combines the release of anti-inflammatory drugs with osteogenic stimulation. Initially, the inorganic and organic phases were integrated to ensure the scaffold's mechanical integrity through catechol chemistry and the electrostatic interactions between tannic acid and quaternary ammonium chitosan. Subsequently, layers of polydopamine-encapsulated puerarin-loaded zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) were self-assembled onto the stent's surface, creating the drug-loaded scaffold that improved drug release without altering the scaffold's structure. Compared with unloaded scaffolds, the puerarin-loaded scaffold demonstrated excellent osteogenic differentiation properties along with superior anti-inflammatory and osteogenic effects in a range of in vitro and in vivo studies. RNA sequencing clarified the role of the TNF and NF/κB signaling pathways in these effects, further supporting the scaffold's osteogenic potential. • MIL-101(Cr) nodes were tethered by ionic liquids bearing hydrogen-bond donor. • MIL-101(Cr) derivative as catalyst boosted the epoxide cycloaddition with CO 2. • The heterogeneous catalyst containing carboxyl displayed superior activity. • The catalyst exhibited the great durability and recyclability. It is critical to design an effective catalyst for CO 2 conversion into cyclocarbonate to achieve the carbon neutrality. Herein, MIL-101(Cr) tethered by hydrogen bond donors (HBD)-containing ionic liquids (denoted as MIL-101-ILs(R), R = OH, NH 2 , and COOH) were synthesized through the implantation of 4,4′-bipyridine into MOF nodes via the post-synthetic modification, followed by the decoration with bromoalkanes including bromoethanol, bromoethylamine, and bromoacetic acid. Their catalytic performance were evaluated by the epoxide cycloaddition reaction under 1.0 MPa CO 2 and 80 ℃ for 6 h in the absence of solvent and cocatalyst. Compared to MIL-101-ILs without HBD, MIL-101-ILs(OH) and MIL-101-ILs(NH 2) demonstrated the more chloropropene carbonate (CPC) yield of 88 % and 83 %, respectively. Notably, MIL-101-ILs(COOH) exhibited an uppermost activity with a CPC yield of 96 %, attributed to the cooperativity of Lewis acidity originating from Cr 3 O clusters, hydrogen-bond interaction afforded by carboxyl groups, and the strong nucleophilicity offered by Br- ions of ILs. Disinfection by-products (DBPs) are prevalent contaminants in drinking water and are primarily linked to issues regarding water quality. These contaminants have been associated with various adverse health effects. Among different treatment processes, nanofiltration (NF) has demonstrated superior performance in effectively reducing the levels of DBPs compared to conventional processes and ozone-biological activated carbon (O 3 -BAC) processes. In this experiment, we systematically investigated the performance of three advanced membrane filtration treatment schemes, namely "sand filter + nanofiltration" (SF + NF), "sand filter + ozone-biological activated carbon + nanofiltration" (SF + O 3 -BAC + NF), and "ultrafiltration + nanofiltration" (UF + NF), in terms of their ability to control disinfection by-product (DBP) formation in treated water, analyzed the source and fate of DBP precursors during chlorination, and elucidated the role of precursor molecular weight distribution during membrane filtration in relation to DBP formation potential (DBPFP). The results indicated that each treatment process reduced DBPFP, as measured by trihalomethane formation potential (THMFP) and haloacetic acid formation potential (HAAFP), with the SF + O 3 -BAC + NF process being the most effective (14.27 μg/L and 14.88 μg/L), followed by the SF + NF process (21.04 μg/L and 16.29 μg/L) and the UF + NF process (26.26 μg/L and 21.75 μg/L). Tyrosine, tryptophan, and soluble microbial products were identified as the major DBP precursors during chlorination, with their fluorescence intensity decreasing gradually as water treatment progressed. Additionally, while large molecular weight organics (60–100,000 KDa) played a minor role in DBPFP, small molecular weight organics (0.2–5 KDa) were highlighted as key contributors to DBPFP, and medium molecular weight organics (5–60 KDa) could adhere to the membrane surface and reduce DBPFP. Adults with moderate/severe SLE initiating BEL (index date) were identified from January 2017 to May 2022, allowing a ≥ 24-month baseline period. Driver distraction recognition has been studied by many researchers. However, most studies have failed to balance the efficiency and accuracy of models. In this study, a lightweight network called CaTNet is proposed. The CaTNet is a simplified framework based on the existing model ConvNeXt, which prunes redundant feature layers. And a whole new module CaT containing self-attention is introduced in tandem, both of which are combined to enhance the feature characterization. It captures long-range dependencies and retains the local inductive bias provided by the convolutional neural network (CNN). The proposed method is verified on the dataset of American University in Cairo (AUC) and the State Farm Distracted Driver Detection (SFD3) Dataset. The CaTNet achieves 94.82% and 99.91% Top-1 accuracy while the number of model parameters is only 2.832M, with 12.44 frames per second (FPS) running on Jetson Nano. HSA (human serum albumin), a most abundant protein in blood serum, plays a key role in maintaining human health. Abnormal HSA level is correlated with many diseases, and thus has been used as an essential biomarker for therapeutic monitoring and biomedical diagnosis. Development of small-molecule fluorescent probes allowing the selective and sensitive recognition of HSA in in vitro and in vivo is of fundamental importance in basic biological research as well as medical diagnosis. Herein, we reported a series of new synthesized fluorescent dyes containing D-π-A constitution, which exhibited different optical properties in solution and solid state. Among them, dye M−H−SO 3 with a hydrophilic sulfonate group at electron-acceptor part displayed selectivity for discrimination of HSA from BSA and other enzymes. Upon binding of dye M−H−SO 3 with HSA, a significant fluorescence enhancement with a turn-on ratio about 96-fold was triggered. The detection limit was estimated to be ∼ 40 nM. Studies on the interaction mechanism revealed that dye M−H−SO 3 could bind to site III of HSA with a 1:1 binding stoichiometry. Water, energy, and food are essential for human survival, and the production and consumption of these three resources are closely related. In the backdrop of limited resources and constantly expanding demand, the collaborative security of the water-energy-food nexus (WEF-nexus) is under serious threat. It is of great practical significance to study the adaptive management countermeasures of the collaborative security of the WEF-nexus in the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) and to quantitatively evaluate the implementation sequence of relevant management countermeasures to improve the collaborative security and promote the sustainable development of the WEF-nexus. This study first establishes an evaluation indicator system for the collaborative security of the WEF-nexus in the YREB by utilizing the pressure-state-response (PSR) model. Then, the CRITIC and TOPSIS methods are used to determine the weight of indicators and the collaborative security level of the WEF-nexus in each province and city. The state transition matrix is determined based on the transition at the collaborative security level. Finally, based on the barrel theory to make up for shortcomings, the adaptive management countermeasures of provinces and cities with low collaborative safety levels are studied by combining the Bellman optimal equation. By comparing the expected returns of the same countermeasure in different implementation sequences and conducting quantitative research on the implementation sequence of adaptive management countermeasures, targeted policy suggestions are proposed based on regional characteristics, providing a reference for strategic decision-making of relevant resources in the YREB and improving regional WEF-nexus collaborative security. The results show that: (1) For Jiangxi, improving the water conservancy engineering regulation and storage capacity and other ways in a particular order can effectively improve the collaborative security level of nexus. Fine particulates in city air significantly impact human health, but the hazardous compositional mechanisms are still unclear. Besides the toxicity of environmental PM 2.5 to in vitro human lung epithelial cells (A549), the independent cytotoxicity of PM 2.5 -bound water-soluble (WS-PM 2.5) and water-insoluble (WIS-PM 2.5) fractions were also compared by cell viability, oxidative stress (reactive oxygen species, ROS), and inflammatory injury (IL-6 and TNF-α). The cytotoxicity of PM 2.5 varied significantly by sampling season and place, with degrees greater in winter and spring than in summer and autumn, related to corresponding trend of air PM 2.5 level, and also higher in industrial than urban site, although their PM 2.5 pollution levels were comparable. The PM 2.5 bound metals (Ni, Cr, Fe, and Mn) may contribute to cellular injury. Both WS-PM 2.5 and WIS-PM 2.5 posed significant cytotoxicity, that WS-PM 2.5 was more harmful than WIS-PM 2.5 in terms of decreasing cell viability and increasing inflammatory cytokines production. In particular, industrial samples were usually more toxic than urban samples, and those from summer were generally less toxic than other seasons. Hence, in order to mitigate the health risks of PM 2.5 pollution, the crucial targets might be components of heavy metals and soluble fractions, and sources in industrial areas, especially during the cold seasons. • A multiple color space prior network is proposed to handle non-homogeneous hazy images and perform color correction, ensuring visually pleasing dehazed results. • The two parallel sub-networks, the color correction network and the Prior-based dehazing network, designed based on image priors effectively extract feature information from YCrCb and HSV color spaces. • A comprehensive fusion module (CFM) is designed to consider the multi-scale information in feature maps and the intrinsic relationships between channels for comprehensive feature fusion. When capturing images in non-homogeneous haze conditions, the degree of haze impact varies across the scene, and the information in certain parts of the scene are lost, making the scene nearly invisible. However, most existing dehazing convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are designed for homogeneous haze and do not consider the challenge of feature extraction arising from non-homogeneous haze distribution. Moreover, these networks primarily rely on the RGB color space for feature extraction, often fail to extract color and detail feature effectively, resulting in color distortion and loss of details in the output. To tackle this problem, we introduce image priors in the YCbCr and HSV color spaces, proposing a novel Multiple Color Space Prior Network (MCPNet) to enhance the dehazing performance specifically for non-homogeneous hazy images, while simultaneously correcting the color, preserving the visual quality of the output. Leveraging image priors, we designed two parallel sub-networks to extract color and detail features from the YCbCr and HSV color spaces. Moreover, to capitalize on these features and incorporate them effectively into the dehazed image, we introduce a Comprehensive Fusion Module (CFM). This module judiciously takes into account both the fusion of multiscale features and the interrelation among channels to optimize feature fusion. By employing a dual network architecture coupled with the CFM, our model proficiently amalgamates and exploits the mined features, accurately restoring the color and detail information of the image, especially for images containing non-homogeneous haze. Extensive experimental highlight the effectiveness of our model in addressing homogeneous and non-homogeneous hazy images, concurrently preserving the visual appeal of the dehazed outcomes.
