In this work, the non-fragile output feedback control problem is discussed for persistent dwell-time switched nonlinear systems. In order to make full use of the bandwidth in communication networks, the weighted try-once-discard protocol is adopted to connect only one sensor with communication networks at a instant via the maximum-error-first policy. It is worth noticing that via using the weighted try-once-discard protocol, the information received by the controller becomes less such that the gains of the controller may be more susceptible to the internal and external environment. Therefore, the non-fragile output-feedback fuzzy control scheme is employed for maintaining the performance of controllers under such a protocol. Then, based on suitable augmented multiple Lyapunov-like functions, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the stochastically globally uniform exponential stability and a fixed H ∞ performance for the resulted closed-loop system. Furthermore, through solving those conditions, the design approach of the desired controller can be developed. The feasibility of the established approach is illustrated via a example and a truck-trailer model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
