Abstract

Inorganic cesium lead iodide perovskite CsPbI3 is attracting great attention as a light absorber for single or multi‐junction photovoltaics due to its outstanding thermal stability and proper band gap. However, the device performance of CsPbI3‐based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is limited by the unsatisfactory crystal quality and thus severe non‐radiative recombination. Here, vacuum‐assisted thermal annealing (VATA) is demonstrated as an effective approach for controlling the morphology and crystallinity of the CsPbI3 perovskite films formed from the precursors of PbI2, CsI, and dimethylammonium iodide (DMAI). By this method, a large‐area and high‐quality CsPbI3 film is obtained, exhibiting a much reduced trap‐state density with prolonged charge lifetime. Consequently, the solar cell efficiency is raised from 17.26 to 20.06 %, along with enhanced stability. The VATA would be an effective approach for fabricating high‐performance thin‐film CsPbI3 perovskite optoelectronics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Perovskite single-crystal arrays have attracted intensive attention because of their great potentials for integrated optoelectronic devices. However, the traditional top-down lithography strategy requires complex processing and is detrimental to perovskite crystal structures, which is incompatible to directly pattern perovskite single crystals. Herein, we report a lithography-free method to realize the controllable growth of perovskite single-crystal arrays. Through introducing a printed hydrophilic-hydrophobic substrate into the crystallization system, the MAPbCl3 single-crystal arrays with precise location and uniform size are effectively fabricated. This method can be applied to prepare diverse perovskite single-crystal arrays, including MAPbBr3, CsPbCl3, CsPbBr3, Cs3Cu2I5, Cs3Bi2I9, and (BA)2(MA)3Pb4I11. The perovskite single crystals can be selectively grown on the electrodes to fabricate ultraviolet photodetectors. Abstract

Organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have attracted great attentions due to their rapid increase of power conversion efficiency (PCE). Although the highest PCE of PSCs (25.7%) has been achieved via using formamidinium lead iodide (FAPbI3) with a suitable bandgap, there is still a lack of systematic analysis on FAPbI3‐based PSCs toward high stability and high efficiency. Herein, the progress in FAPbI3 films and achievements in their high‐efficiency and long‐term stability PSCs are comprehensively reviewed. First, the progress from the aspects of morphology, defect, dimension, and strain for FAPbI3 film optimization is summarized and then the development of FAPbI3 PSCs in both efficiency and stability is discussed. Then, the methods to improve the FAPbI3 film quality by morphology control, defect passivation, dimensional regulation, and strain engineering, as well as strategies to optimize the device structure and interface layers, which are critical to promote device stability and efficiency, are evaluated. Finally, the outlook and strategies for realizing commercialized FAPbI3 PSCs with high efficiency and long lifetime are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

339. Prognostic Role of MicroRNA 222 in Patients with Glioma: A Meta-analysis

Abstract

Background. Several studies have focused on the prognostic role of microRNA 222 in glioma. But different conclusions were drawn by these studies. We aimed to systematically evaluate the role of microRNA 222 in glioma by conducting a meta-analysis. Methods. A systematic literature search until January 2020 was conducted in Web of Science, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, PubMed, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. The general characteristics and relevant data of nine articles were extracted. Hazard ratios (HRs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were applied to evaluate the prognostic role of microRNA 222 in glioma. The primary outcomes were overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS). Results. Nine articles (11 data sets) with 1564 patients were included. We systematically evaluated the role of microRNA 222 for OS and DFS in glioma patients (HR for OS=1.72; 95% CI, 1.31-2.26; p=0.001; HR for DFS=1.02; 95% CI, 0.86-1.22; p=0.032). Subgroup analyses were performed according to the sources of patients, the types of the samples, the stages of the tumors, the methods for detecting the microRNA 222, and the sample size. No significant publication bias was found. Conclusion. In conclusion, our study provided evidence that a high expression of microRNA 222 was related to worse overall survival in glioma patients. However, given the limited study number, more high-quality studies are warranted in the future.

Abstract

Silver (Ag) grid is one of the most competitive alternatives for transparent conductors because of its optical transparency, high conductivity, and cost competitiveness. Although printing, self‐assembly, and other combination strategies are widely adopted for the fabrication of Ag grids, the size/morphology accuracy adjustments and structural complexity design in micro/nanodimension are still challenges. Herein, adjustable Ag grid patterns at the micro/nanoscale are obtained by the combination of template printing and self‐assembly method. The strategy generates air‐filled uniform concave meniscus between silicon pillars helped by coating polymer solutions. The experimental results demonstrate that the concave meniscus' features strongly influence the stick‐slip motion of the triple‐phase contact line (TCL), which is the key factor for the construction of different Ag grid patterns, and the morphologies of the patterns affect the application of the Ag grid accordingly. By selection of the surface interaction, the proper Ag grids at the micro/nanoscale have good transmittance (85.3%) and low sheet resistance (7.6 Ω sq−1) on the glass substrate, and Ag grids on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate have also been investigated which are important for its application in flexible transparent electronics. Abstract

Perovskites as promising photovoltaic materials have been widely investigated due to their excellent photoelectric properties. Perovskite optoelectronic devices have been applied in fields of portable energy, light monitors, image sensors, etc. In recent years, wearable perovskite optoelectronic devices have been developed for their advantages of flexibility, stretchability, and light weight. In this review, the latest development of flexible and wearable perovskite optoelectronic devices is summarized. First, the preparation methods of optoelectronic devices are introduced, especially focusing on the large‐scale fabrication. Then the latest advances of various flexible devices are presented. In particular, the stability and safety of wearable devices, as well as the impact factors and corresponding solutions are discussed.
