333. Study of the Response of Environmental Factors of the Coastal Area in Zhoushan Fishery to Typhoon In-fa Based on Remote Sensing.

Abstract

The response of typical environmental factors in Zhoushan Fishery, including sea surface temperature (SST), sea surface salinity (SSS), and chlorophyll a (Chl-a), before and after Typhoon In-fa was analyzed using satellite data and reanalysis data in this study. Additionally, this study simultaneously elucidated the mechanism by which the typhoon affected these factors. The results showed that: (1) the strong vertical mixing caused by In-fa provoked a decrease in SST, while the asymmetric typhoon wind stress and vertical difference in temperature structure before the typhoon caused a more robust cooling of SST on the right side of the In-fa track; (2) despite the strong mixing and inflow of hypersaline seawater increasing SSS, the combined effect of intense rainfall and diluted water inflow caused an overall decrease in SSS after In-fa's landing; (3) In-fa caused the Chl-a concentration to decrease first and then increase. The high cloudiness and low Chl-a seawater inflow inhibited the phytoplankton growth during the typhoon, while the abundant light, rich surface nutrients under the upwelling effect, and transport of rich land-based substances induced rapid phytoplankton reproduction after the typhoon; and (4) the change in Chl-a concentration, current, temperature, and salinity induced by a typhoon are essential factors that affect fish behavior and community composition in fisheries. This study provides a point of reference to reveal the response of environmental factors to typhoons and their effects on fishery resources in fisheries located on nearshore estuarine shallow waters with intensive islands. 334. Enhancing the Thermotolerance of Isochrysis zhangjiangensis Through Co-culturing With Algoriphagus marincola.

Abstract

Isochrysis zhangjiangensis is an important microalgal species used as bait in aquaculture. However, its optimal cultivation temperature is around 25 °C, limiting its use in summer when temperature is higher. To overcome this limitation, we aimed to develop a consortia of I. zhangjiangensis and bacteria that are more resistant to heat stress. Here, six thermotolerance-promoting bacterial strains were isolated from the culture of a heat-tolerant mutant strain of I. zhangjiangensis (IM), and identified as Algoriphagus marincola, Nocardioides sp., Pseudidiomarina sp., Labrenzia alba, Nitratireductor sp., and Staphylococcus haemolyticus. Further, co-culturing I. zhangjiangensis with A. marincola under high temperature conditions increased cell density, chlorophyll a, PSII maximum photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm), and soluble protein content of microalgae. The presence of A. marincola positively influenced the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), catalase (CAT), and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) in I. zhangjiangensis cells, while concurrently reducing the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Additionally, gene expression studies confirmed that co-culturing with A. marincola upregulated the expression of antioxidant-related genes (sod and pod) and stress tolerance genes (heat shock protein genes). Our findings indicate that A. marincola effectively helps I. zhangjiangensis withstand high temperature stress, leading to improved yield of microalgae during high temperature conditions. The thermotolerance-promoting bacteria can be exploited as potential inoculants for enhancing the productivity and sustainability of bait microalgae in aquaculture. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

335. High photoactive black phase stability of CsPbI3 nanocrystals under damp-heat conditions of 85 °C and 85% relative humidity.

Abstract

CsPbI3 as a newly emerging semiconductor material has displayed tremendous prospects for optoelectronic applications. However, the poor photoactive black-phase stability limits its further application. In this work, we introduce transition metal nickel ion (Ni2+) as a B-site substitute into CsPbI3 nanocrystals (NCs) to stabilize their black phase. The optimized CsPbI3 NCs film presents a record photoactive black-phase stability time of 54 hours under the conditions of 85 °C and 85% relative humidity, over 108 times that of the undoped film. Furthermore, the Ni2+-doped CsPbI3 NCs solutions maintain bright red emission after vigorous stirring with an equal volume of water for 200 hours (the undoped solution is almost completely quenched), and also show bright red emission after being stored in the air for 200 days (the undoped solution is completely quenched within 43 days). Meanwhile, the photoluminescence quantum yield increased from 31.48% for undoped CsPbI3 NCs to 87.69% for doped Ni-3.65% CsPbI3 NCs. We suggest that these outstanding stabilities and excellent optical properties can mainly be attributed to the increased defect formation energy after rational Ni doping and lattice adjustment by partial replacement of Pb2+ with small-sized Ni2+. Our work provides guidance for the synthesis of phase-stabilized CsPbI3 NCs and an insight into the effect of B-site doping in a perovskite lattice, providing a promising pathway to construct stable and efficient photoelectronic devices.
