We have investigated the Hall effect of the multilayers prepared on substrates with submicron V-grooves; for both the current-at-an-angle-to-plane (CAP) geometry and the current-perpendicular-to-plane (CPP)-like geometry. No difference was found in the Hall resistivity, when only the current direction was changed with respect to the V-grooves on a single sample. By a comparison of the results on an ordinary multilayer made on a flat substrate, we found an enhanced extraordinary Hall resistivity of the CAP-type multilayers, which supports the theoretical prediction reported previously.
