The risk of work accidents can occur in construction workshops that are used as practicum or training places. In the construction workshop, some tools and materials can trigger work accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to review the implementation of OHS in construction workshops (case studies: construction workshops in Padang City: SMK 1 West Sumatra, Job Training Center Padang, SMK 1 Padang). The method used in this study is to evaluate the implementation of OHS referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower no. 08 of 2017 according to the type of workshop (building, electricity, machine, and electronics). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that in general, the implementation of OHS in the workshop is still very lacking. This can be seen from the availability of personal protective equipment and posters and OHS signs. The availability of personal protective equipment is good, but it still needs to be equipped both in terms of quantity and type. In general, the availability of posters and prohibition signs at workshops is still lacking (no smoking signs are available, the rest throw garbage in its place, and forbidden to put hands are not yet available). Posters and command signs available at SMK 1 West Sumatra are turn off lights when not in use and safety first at work, and at Job Training Center Padang is throwing garbage in its place. The posters and command signs available at the Electricity Workshop at SMK 1 West Sumatra are safety first at work, throw garbage in its place, and must wear work clothes; at Job Training Center Padang is safety first at work, and; at SMK 1 Padang is safety first at work, and throw garbage in its place. Posters and command signs at Machine Workshop at SMK 1 West Sumatra that are available are must wear eye protection, turn off lights when not in use, and safety first at work; at the Job Training Center Padang are must wear a safety helmet, must wear safety shoes, must wear eye protection, and turn off lights when not in use. At the SMK 1 Padang workshop, no posters and command signs were available. Especially for the electricity Workshop, posters and command signs are not yet available properly. Posters and direction signs are only available at the Padang Job Training Center at the machine and electronics workshop. In the workshop, the machines available are evacuation routes, light fire extinguishers, and toilets, while first aid kits and exits are not available. In the electronics workshop, only a first aid kit is available. Posters and warning signs at all workshop locations are not available. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
