As a way to explore the potential consequences of Lorentz symmetry breaking on gravitational and cosmological phenomena, the Bumblebee model was proposed as a type of modified gravity theory that incorporates spontaneous Lorentz symmetry breaking, achieved by a Bumblebee vector field acquiring a non-zero vacuum expectation value in some preferred direction. In this paper, we explored how the Lorentz symmetry breaking parameter $\ell$ affects the Reissner-Nordst\"{o}m BH solution in the context of weak field deflection angle, and the black hole shadow. We aim to derive the general expression for the weak deflection angle using the non-asymptotic version of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, and we presented a way to simplify the calculations under the assumption that the distance of the source and the receiver are the same. We also studied the black hole shadow in an analytic way, where we applied the EHT results under the far approximation in obtaining an estimate expression for $\ell$. We have found out that the theory always restricts the geometrical mass and the observer's distance to being equal. Using the realistic values of the black hole mass and observer distance for Sgr. A* and M87*, it was shown that $M/r_{\rm o} \neq 1$ is satisfied, implying the relevance and potential promise of the spontaneous Lorentz symmetry breaking parameter's role on the shadow radius uncertainties as measured by the EHT., Comment: 10 pages. In this paper, we present three exact solutions to the Einstein field equations, each showing different black hole models. The first solution introduces a black hole with a variable equation of state, \( P=k(r)\rho \), that can represent both singular and regular black holes based on parameters \( M_0 \) and \( w_0 \). The second solution features a black hole with Hagedorn fluid, relevant for the late stages of black hole formation, and reveals similarities to the first solution, describing both singular and regular black holes in a specific case. Furthermore, we investigate the shadow cast by these black hole solutions to constrain their parameters. The Einstein-Euler-Heisenberg (EEH) black hole model is an extension of classical black hole solutions in general relativity, incorporating quantum electrodynamics (QED) effects via the Euler-Heisenberg Lagrangian. The Euler-Heisenberg Lagrangian describes the nonlinear corrections to Maxwell's equations due to virtual electron-positron pair production in a strong electromagnetic field. When this Lagrangian is coupled with Einstein's field equations, it leads to modified black hole solutions that took into account these quantum corrections. In this paper, we investigate the impact of the screening parameter, acting as an effective dielectric constant endowed in a vacuum due to such QED effects, on the properties of the rotating and electrically charged Einstein-Euler-Heisenberg black holes (EEH). To this aim, we analyzed and discussed findings as to how the screening parameter, being positive or negative, affects certain black hole properties such as null regions, shadow cast and its observables, and quasinormal modes (QNMs) relative to the Kerr and Kerr-Newman cases. We find that the presence of a screened charge due to the associated QED effects in this screened Maxwell theory might noticeably alter the properties of black holes, offering insights into the interplay between gravity and quantum field effects., Comment: 19 pages, 12 figures. This study investigates the impact of the quantum-gravity correction at the third-order curvature ($c_6$) on the black hole's shadow and deflection angle on the weak field regime, both involving finite distances of observers. While the calculation of the photonsphere and shadow radius $R_{\rm sh}$ can easily be achieved by the standard Lagrangian for photons, the deflection angle $\alpha$ employs the finite-distance version of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem (GBT). We find that the photonsphere reduces to the classical expression $r_{\rm ph} = 3M$ for both the Planck mass and the theoretical mass limit for BH, thus concealing the information about the applicability of the metric on the quantum and astrophysical grounds. Our calculation of the shadow, however, revealed that $c_6$ is strictly negative and constrains the applicability of the metric to quantum black holes. For instance, the bounds for the mass is $M/l_{\rm Pl} \in [0.192, 4.315]$. We also derived the analytic formula for the observer-dependent shadow, which confirms $c_6$'s influence on quantum black holes even for observers in the asymptotic regions. The influence of such a parameter also strengthens near the quantum black hole. Our analytic calculation of $\alpha$ is shown to be independent of $c_6$ if the finite distance $u \rightarrow 0$, and $c_6$ is not coupled to any time-like geodesic. Finally, the effect of $c_6$ manifests in two ways: if $M^2$ is large enough to offset the small value of $l_{\rm Pl}$ (which is beyond the theoretical mass limit), or if $b$ is comparable to $l_{\rm Pl}$ for a quantum black hole., Comment: 9 pages, 0 figures. In this study, we investigate the signatures of a non-commutative black hole solution. Initially, we calculate the thermodynamic properties of the system, including entropy, heat capacity, and Hawking radiation. For the latter quantity, we employ two distinct methods: surface gravity and the topological approach. Additionally, we examine the emission rate and remnant mass within this context. Remarkably, the lifetime of the black hole, after reaching its final state due to the evaporation process, is expressed analytically up to a grey-body factor. We estimate the lifetime for specific initial and final mass configurations. Also, we analyze the tensorial quasinormal modes using the 6th-order WKB method. This paper investigates the novel phenomenon of gravitational lensing experienced by gravitational waves traveling past a Schwarzschild black hole perturbed by a specific, first-order, polar gravitational wave. We utilize the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, uncovering a topological contribution to the deflection of light rays passing near the black hole. Black hole shadows and photon spheres offer valuable tools for investigating black hole properties. Recent observations by the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration have confirmed the existence of rotating black holes. Black hole parameters influence the observed shadow size. This paper explores the impact of geometrical deformations on black hole shadow size using gravitational decoupling applied to axially-symmetric spacetime. In this paper, we introduce a new approach to study the behavior of the photon sphere and shadow radius. Our method uses extended gravitational decoupling and reveals two important analytic results. First, the additional matter field alters the photon sphere radius: it increases if $g'(r_{ph}^{(0)})>0$ and decreases if $g'(r_{ph}^{(0)})<0$ (where $g'$ represents the derivative of a specific metric function evaluated at the original photon sphere radius). Second, the presence of the matter field can modify the black hole shadow size. If $g\left(r_{ph}^{(0)}\right)>0$, the shadow shrinks, while it grows for $g\left(r_{ph}^{(0)}\right)<0$. These findings provide a deeper insight into how matter distribution influences the characteristics of black holes and their observable features. In this study, we explore the influence of quark-antiquark confinement on the deflection angle within the framework of nonlinear electrodynamic (NED) black holes. To achieve this, we establish the appropriate optical spacetime metric and subsequently determine the Gaussian optical curvature. Utilizing the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we investigate the impact of quark-antiquark confinement on the deflection angle exhibited by NED black holes. Additionally, we delve into the effects of a cold non-magnetized plasma medium and also axion-plasmon on gravitational lensing. Symmergent gravity is an emergent gravity model with an $R+R^2$ curvature sector and an extended particle sector having new particles beyond the known ones. With constant scalar curvature, asymptotically flat black hole solutions are known to have no sensitivity to the quadratic curvature term (coefficient of $R^2$). With variable scalar curvature, however, asymptotically-flat symmergent black hole solutions turn out to explicitly depend on the quadratic curvature term. In the present work, we construct asymptotically-flat symmergent black holes with variable scalar curvature and use its evaporation, shadow, and deflection angle to constrain the symmergent gravity parameters. Concerning their evaporation, we find that the new particles predicted by symmergent gravity, even if they do not interact with the known particles, can enhance the black hole evaporation rate. Concerning their shadow, we show that statistically significant symmergent effects are reached at the $2\,\sigma$ level for the observational data of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) on the Sagittarius A* supermassive black hole. Concerning their weak deflection angle, we reveal discernible features for the boson-fermion number differences, particularly at large impact parameters. In this manuscript, we explore the shadow and the greybody bounding characteristics of a regular black hole within 4-dimensional space-time, employing the context of gravity that is scale-dependent. Our focus lies in determining limitations on the parameter denoted as $\tilde{\epsilon}$, which serves as a descriptor for the scale-dependent solution with respect to the classically observed shadow radius $R_\text{sh}$ as indicated in the documented data from the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). Our result indicates that there is a unique value for $\tilde{\epsilon}$ occurring at the reported mean of $R_\text{sh}$ and the uncertainties could be the result of the fluctuating value of the scale-dependent parameter. We found that $\tilde{\epsilon} > 0$ is positive for Sgr. A*, but $\tilde{\epsilon}<0$ for M87*. Utilizing M87* as a reference model, we scrutinized the shadow radius and weak deflection angle within the specified constraints. In this work, we investigate wormhole solutions through the utilization of gravitational decoupling, employing the Minimal Geometric Deformation (MGD) procedure within the framework of Trace-Free Gravity. We base our investigation on static and spherically symmetric Morris-Thorne traversable wormholes, considering both constant and variable equation of state parameters. We derive the field equations and extract the shape function for each scenario. Moreover, we explore the gravitational decoupling technique and examine various forms of energy density for both a smeared and particle-like gravitational source, encompassing the realm of noncommutative geometry and a statically charged fluid. We also examinethe wormhole geometry through the utilization of embedding diagrams. Through our analysis, we uncover a violation of the Null Energy Condition (NEC). This study explores spherically symmetric non-linear electrodynamics black holes and their effects on light propagation. We derive the governing metric, revealing radial coordinate dynamics within the event horizon. We analyze photon trajectories, finding that increasing magnetic charge expands the horizon and emission range. Four spherically symmetric but non-asymptotically flat black hole solutions surrounded with spherical dark matter distribution perceived under the minimal length scale effect is derived via the generalized uncertainty principle. Here, the effect of this quantum correction, described by the parameter $\gamma$, is considered on a toy model galaxy with dark matter and the three well-known dark matter distributions: the cold dark matter, scalar field dark matter, and the universal rotation curve. The aim is to find constraints to $\gamma$ by applying these solutions to the known supermassive black holes: Sagittarius A (Sgr. A*) and Messier 87* (M87*), in conjunction with the available Event Horizon telescope. The effect of $\gamma$ is then examined on the event horizon, photonsphere, and shadow radii, where unique deviations from the Schwarzschild case are observed. As for the shadow radii, bounds are obtained for the values of $\gamma$ on each black hole solution at $3\sigma$ confidence level. The results revealed that under minimal length scale effect, black holes can give positive (larger shadow) and negative values (smaller shadow) of $\gamma$, which are supported indirectly by laboratory experiments and astrophysical or cosmological observations, respectively., Comment: 14 pages, 6 figures; 2 tables

In this paper we investigate new dyonic black holes of massive gravity sourced by generalized quasitopological electromagnetism in arbitrary dimensions. We begin by deriving the exact solution to the field equations defining these black holes and look at how graviton's mass, dimensionality parameter, and quasitopological electromagnetic field affect the horizon structure of anti-de Sitter dyonic black holes. We also explore the asymptotic behaviour of the curvature invariants at both the origin and infinity to analyze the geometric structure of the resultant black holes. We also compute the conserved and thermodynamic quantities of these dyonic black holes with the help of established techniques and known formulas. After investigating the relevancy of first law, we look at how various parameters influence the local thermodynamic stability of resultant black hole solution. In this paper, we report on exact charged black hole solutions in symmergent gravity with Maxwell field. Symmergent gravity induces the gravitational constant $G$, quadratic curvature coefficient $c_{\rm O}$, and the vacuum energy $V_{\rm O}$ from the flat spacetime matter loops. In the limit in which all fields are degenerate in mass, the vacuum energy $V_{\rm O}$ can be expressed in terms of $G$ and $c_{\rm O}$. We parametrize deviation from this limit by a parameter ${\hat \alpha}$ such that the black hole spacetime is dS for ${\hat \alpha} < 1$ and AdS for ${\hat \alpha} > 1$. In our analysis, we study horizon formation, shadow cast and gravitational lensing as functions of the black hole charge, and find that there is an upper bound on the charge. At relatively low values of charge, applicable to astronomical black holes, we determine constraints on $c_{\rm O}$ and ${\hat \alpha}$ using the EHT data from Sgr. A* and M87*. We apply these constraints to reveal how the shadow radius behaves as the observer distance $r_O$ varies. It is revealed that black hole charge directly influences the shadow silhouette, but the symmergent parameters have a tenuous effect. We also explored the weak field regime by using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to study the weak deflection angle caused by the M87* black hole. We have found that impact parameters comparable to the actual distance $D = 16.8$ Mpc show the potential detectability of such an angle through advanced astronomical telescopes. The abundance of dark matter in the actual universe motivates us to construct the black hole spacetime enveloped by dark matter. In this paper, we derive a new spherically symmetric black hole surrounded by the pseudo-isothermal dark matter halo, and then explore the effects of the pseudo-isothermal halo profile on a rotating black hole at the M87 galactic center, aiming to achieve a black hole solution that aligns with those found in the real universe. Using the Newman-Janis method, we derive a rotating black hole solution encompassed by the pseudo-isothermal halo, which is consistent with observations of actual black holes that are believed to possess spin. Our investigation focuses on the impact of the pseudo-isothermal halo on the black hole event horizon, time-like and null orbits, as well as the black hole shadow. We find that as the spin parameter $a$ increases, the interval between the inner event horizon and the outer event horizon of the rotating black hole surrounded by the pseudo-isothermal halo in M87 diminishes. This leads to the formation of an extreme black hole. The presence of dark matter, however, has minimal effect on the event horizon. Moreover, in the M87 as the spin parameter $a$ increases, the black hole shadow deviates increasingly from a standard circle, with larger spin parameters causing more pronounced distortion relative to the standard circle. Surprisingly, we observe that the dark matter density has very little influence on the shadow of the black hole surrounded by the pseudo-isothermal halo in the M87. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of black hole structures and the role of dark matter in the universe.

Traversable wormholes and regular black holes usually represent completely different scenarios. But in the black bounce spacetime they can be described by a same line element, which is very attractive. Furthermore, the black hole photos taken by EHT show that black holes have spin, so spin is an indispensable intrinsic property of black holes in the actual universe. In this work, we derive a rotating black hole mimicker surrounded by the string cloud (SC), which can be interpolated to represent regular black hole spacetime and traversable wormhole spacetime. We investigate the effect of the spin $a$ and SC parameter $L$ on the observables (shadow radius $R_s$ and distortion $\delta_s$) and energy emission rate of the black hole mimicker surrounded by the SC. We find that shadow for this spacetime is very sensitive to the $L$, i.e., the SC parameter can significantly increase the boundary of the shadow.

Symmergent gravity is an emergent gravity framework in which gravity emerges guided by gauge invariance, accompanied by new particles, and reconciled with quantum fields. In this paper, we perform a detailed study of the quasinormal modes and greybody factors of the black holes in symmergent gravity. Its relevant parameters are the quadratic curvature term $c_{\rm O}$ and the vacuum energy parameter $\alpha$. In our analyses, effects of the both parameters are investigated. Our findings suggest that, in both positive and negative direction, large $|c_{\rm O}|$ values of the parameter on the quasinormal modes parallel the Schwarzschild black hole. Moreover, the quasinormal model spectrum is found to be sensitive to the symmergent parameter $\alpha$. We contrast the asymptotic iteration and WKB methods in regard to their predictions for the quasinormal frequencies, and find that they differ (agree) slightly at small (large) multipole moments. We analyze time-domain profiles of the perturbations, and determine the greybody factor of the symmergent black hole in the WKB regime. The symmergent parameter $\alpha$ and the quadratic curvature term $c_{\rm O}$ are shown to impact the greybody factors significantly. In this paper, we present a detailed analysis of an asymptotic, magnetically-charged, non-singular (AMCNS) black hole. By utilizing the Gauss-bonnet theorem, we aim to unravel the intricate astrophysics associated with this unique black hole. The study explored various aspects including the black hole's gravitational field, intrinsic properties, light bending, the shadow and greybody bounding of the black hole. Through rigorous calculations and simulations, we derive the weak deflection angle of the optical metric of AMCNS black hole. Additionally, we investigate the impact of the dark matter medium on the deflection angle, examined the distinctive features of the black hole's shadow, and bound its greybody factors. The vacuum expectation value of the non-minimally coupled Kalb-Ramond (KR) field leads to spontaneous local Lorentz symmetry violation, and static spherically symmetric solutions exist. In this study, we study the quasinormal modes (QNMs) of modified black holes in non--minimally coupled KR gravity. We employ a higher-order Pad\'e averaged WKB method to compute the QNMs for scalar, electromagnetic, and gravitational perturbations. In order to account for quantum corrections, we examine the geometric characteristics of the horizon and QNMs by introducing the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). Additionally, we shed light on the impact of the Lorentz violating parameters on our findings and estimate QNMs for different perturbations. Further, we estimate bounds on the greybody factors for the modified and GUP-corrected black holes. Our findings reveal the influence of the Lorentz violating parameters in the model on the QNM frequencies and their reliance on the GUP parameters.

The links between the deformation parameter $\beta$ of the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) to the two free parameters $\hat{\omega}$ and $\gamma$ of the running Newtonian coupling constant of the Asymptotic Safe gravity (ASG) program, has been conducted recently in [Phys.Rev.D 105 (2022) 12, 124054]. In this paper, we test these findings by calculating and examining the shadow and quasinormal modes of black holes and demonstrate that the approach provides a theoretical framework for exploring the interplay between quantum gravity and GUP. Our results confirm the consistency of ASG and GUP and offer new insights into the nature of black holes and their signatures. In this work, we have studied the quasinormal modes of a black hole in a model of the type $f(Q)=\underset{n}{\sum}a_{n}\left(Q-Q_{0}\right)^{n} $ in $f(Q)$ gravity by using a recently introduced method known as Bernstein spectral method and confirmed the validity of the method with the help of well known Pad\'e averaged higher order WKB approximation method. Here we have considered scalar perturbation and electromagnetic perturbation in the black hole spacetime and obtained the corresponding quasinormal modes. We see that for a non-vanishing nonmetricity scalar $Q_0$, quasinormal frequencies in scalar perturbation are greater than those in electromagnetic perturbation scenarios. On the other hand, the damping rate of gravitational waves is higher for electromagnetic perturbation. In this paper, we explore the effect of non-linear electrodynamics (NLED) parameters and magnetic charges on various aspects of black holes, like how they bend light, how they emit radiation, and how they appear as a shadow by considering a thin accretion disk model. We initially examine the overall behavior of the photonsphere and the corresponding shadow silhouette under the effects of these parameters. Using the EHT data for Sgr. A* and M87*, we aim to find constraints for $q_m$. Our results indicate that M87* gives better constraints, and as the value of $\beta$ is varied to increase, the constrained range for $q_m$ widens. At lower values of $q_m$, we find that the shadow radius is close to the observed value. Then, we study different things like how much energy the black hole emits, the temperature of the disk around it, and the kind of light it gives off. We also look at how the black hole shadow appears in different situations. We also study how matter falls onto the black hole from all directions. Finally, we investigate how the magnetic charge affects all these things when we take into account a theory called NLED along with gravity. This study helps us understand the complex relationship between magnetic charge and black holes.

We investigate the shadow, deflection angle, and the greybody bounding of a Schwarzschild-AdS/dS black hole in scale-dependent gravity. We used the EHT data to constrain the parameter $\epsilon$. We have found that within the $1\sigma$ level of uncertainty, $\epsilon M_0$ ranges at $10^{-11} - 10^{-16}$ orders of magnitude for Sgr. A*, and $10^{-11} - 10^{-17}$ for M87*. Using these parameters, we explored how the shadow radius behaves as perceived by a static observer. Using the known parameters for Sgr. A* and M87*, we found different shadow cast behavior near the cosmological horizon even if the same scaling parameters were used. We explored the deflection angle $\hat{\alpha}$ in the weak field limit for both massive and null particles, in addition to the effect of finite distances using the non-asymptotically flat version of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. We have found that the $\hat{\alpha}$ strongly depends on massive particles. Tests on $\epsilon$'s effect using Sgr. A* is only along points of low impact parameters. For M87*, only the scaled BH in AdS type can be tested at high impact parameters at the expense of very low value for $\hat{\alpha}$. We study the rigorous bound on the greybody factor for scalar field emitted from black holes in the theory and show the bound on the transmission probability. The effects of the scale-dependent gravity on the greybody factors are investigated, and the results indicate that the bound on the greybody factor in this case is less than the bound for the Schwarzschild black hole., Comment: 16 pages, 7 figures

In this paper, we study quantum gravity effect on the symmergent black hole which is derived from quadratic-curvature gravity. To do so, we use the Klein-Gordon equation which is modified by generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). After solving the field equations, we examine the symmergent black hole's tunneling and Hawking temperature. We explore the graphs of the temperature through the outer horizon to check the GUP influenced conditions of symmergent black hole stability. We also explain how symmergent black holes behave physically when influenced by quantum gravity. The impacts of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of a symmergent black holes spacetime are examined. We first evaluate the model under consideration's thermodynamic properties, such as its Hawking temperature, angular velocity, entropy, and electric potential. We evaluate the logarithmic correction terms for entropy around the equilibrium state in order to examine the impacts of thermal fluctuations. In the presence of these correction terms, we also examine the viability of the first law of thermodynamics. Finally, we evaluate the system's stability using the Hessian matrix and heat capacity. In this study, we probe the weak lensing by a Reissner--Nordstr\"{o}m black hole corrected by bounce parameter in plasma and dark matter mediums. For this, the optical geometry and the Gibbons--Werner approach are utilized to obtain the bending angle in the weak field limitations. We examine that the impact of these mediums increases the black hole's bending angle. In addition, we graphically study the deflection angle of light with respect to the impact parameter and examine that the bounce parameter directly affects the angle. Further, we compute the Hawking radiation via a topological method involving two invariants and verify our obtained result with the standard method of calculating the Hawking temperature. In addition, we compute the greybody factor's bound of the black hole. Moreover, we analyze the bound graphically and observe that the bound shows convergent behavior. We also study that our attained results reduce the results of the Reissner--Nordstr\"{o}m and Schwarzschild black holes by reducing the parameters. Finally, we probe how the bounce parameter affected the shadow radius and compared it to the shadow produced if the black hole is immersed in plasma. It is revealed that the rate at which the shadow radius changes with respect to $r$ easily tends to zero under the effect of the bounce parameter, while the plasma merely increases the shadow radius., Comment: 16 pages, 7 figures

In this paper, we study the deflection angle for wormhole-like static aether solution by using Gibbons and Werner technique in non-plasma, plasma, and dark matter mediums. For this purpose, we use optical spacetime geometry to calculate the Gaussian optical curvature, then implement the Gauss-Bonnet theorem in weak field limits. Moreover, we compute the deflection angle by using a technique known as Keeton and Petters technique. Furthermore, we analyze the graphical behavior of the bending angle $\psi$ with respect to the impact parameter $b$, mass $m$ as an integration constant, and parameter $q$ in non-plasma and plasma mediums. We examine that the deflection angle is exponentially increasing as direct with charge. Also, we observe that for small values of $b$, $\psi$ increases, and for large values of $b$ the angle decreases. We also considered analysis to the shadow cast of the wormhole relative to an observer at various locations. Comparing it the Schwarzschild shadow, shadow cast is possible for wormhole as $r<2m$. At $r>2m$, the Schwarzschild is larger. As $r\to \infty$, we have seen that the behavior of the shadow, as well as the weak deflection angle, approaches that of the Schwarzschild black hole. In this paper, we study the weak deflection angle of black hole in effective loop quantum gravity using the geometrical technique used by Gibbons and Werner. We first derive the optical metric, calculate the Gaussian optical curvature, and then apply the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. We then also investigate the effect of plasma and dark matter mediums on the weak deflection angle. We show that increasing the impact of these two mediums grows the deflection angle. We also calculate the Hawking temperature via Gauss-Bonnet theorem. In addition, we determine the fermionic greybody bounds. Moreover, we discuss the graphical behaviour of the deflection angle and bounds on the greybody factor. Graphically, we observe that taking $0 < A_{\lambda} < 1$ angle ranges from negative values to maximum values and also attain maximum value for these values of $ A_{\lambda}$ and for $A_{\lambda} \geq 1$ exponentially approaches to zero. Later, we graphically investigate that the greybody factor bound exhibits the convergent behaviour by converging to $1$. Non-linear electrodynamics (NLED) is a generalization of Maxwell's electrodynamics for strong fields. It could have significant implications for the study of black holes and cosmology and have been extensively studied in the literature, extending from quantum to cosmological contexts. Recently, its application to black holes, inflation and dark energy has caught on, being able to provide an accelerated Universe and address some current theoretical inconsistencies, such as the Big Bang singularity. In this work, we report two new ways to investigate these non-linear theories. First, we have analyzed the Blandford-Znajeck mechanism in light of this promising theoretical context, providing the general form of the extracted power up to second order in the black hole spin parameter $a$. We have found that, depending on the NLED model, the emitted power can be extremely increased or decreased, and that the magnetic field lines around the black hole seems to become vertical quickly. Considering only separated solutions, we have found that no monopole solutions exist and this could have interesting astrophysical consequences (not considered here). Last but not least, we attempted to confine the NLED parameters by inducing the amplification of primordial magnetic fields ('seeds'), thus admitting non-linear theories already during the early stages of the Universe. However, the latter approach proved to be useful for NLED research only in certain models. In this work, we explored the effect of the fuzzy dark matter (FDM) (or wave dark matter) halo on a supermassive black hole (SMBH). Such a dark matter introduces a soliton core density profile, and we treat it ideally as a spherical distribution that surrounds the SMBH located at its center. In this direction, we obtained a new metric due to the union of the black hole and dark matter spacetime geometries. We applied the solution to the two known SMBH - Sgr. A* and M87* and used the empirical data for the shadow diameter by EHT to constrain the soliton core radius $r_\text{c}$ given some values of the boson mass $m_\text{b}$. Then, we examine the behavior of the shadow radius based on such constraints and relative to a static observer. We found that different shadow sizes are perceived at regions $r_\text{obs}r_\text{c}$, and the deviation is greater for values $m_\text{b}<10^{-22}$ eV. Concerning the shadow behavior, we have also analyzed the effect of the soliton profile on the thin-accretion disk. Soliton dark matter effects manifest through the varying luminosity near the event horizon. We also analyzed the weak deflection angle and the produced Einstein rings due to soliton effects. We found considerable deviation, better than the shadow size deviation, for the light source near the SMBH with impact parameters comparable to the soliton core. Nonlinear electrodynamics is known as the generalizations of Maxwell electrodynamics at strong fields and presents interesting features such as curing the classical divergences present in the linear theory when coupled to general relativity. In this paper, we consider the asymptotically flat Reissner-Nordstr\"om black hole solution with higher-order magnetic correction in Einstein-nonlinear-Maxwell fields. We study the effect of the magnetic charge parameters on the black hole, viz. weak deflection angle of photons and massive particles using Gauss-bonnet theorem. Moreover, we apply the Keeton-Petters formalism to confirm our results of the weak deflection angle. Apart from vacuum, their influence in the presence of different media such as plasma and dark matter are probed as well. Finally, we examine the black hole shadow cast using the null-geodesics method and investigate its spherically in-falling thin accretion disk. Motivated by recent work on the Modified Maxwell (ModMax) black holes [Phys.Lett.B 10.1016/j.physletb.2020.136011], which are invariant in duality rotations and conformal transformations founded in [ Phys.Rev.D 10.1103/PhysRevD.102.121703], we probe its effects on the shadow cast, weak field gravitational lensing, and neutrino propagation in its vicinity. Using the EHT data for the shadow diameter of Sgr. A* and M87*, and LIGO/VIRGO experiments for the dyonic ModMax black hole perturbations, we find constraints for ModMax parameters such as $Q_\text{m}$ and the screening factor $\gamma$. We also analyze how the shadow radius behaves as perceived by a static observer and one that is comoving with the cosmic expansion. The effect of the ModMax parameters is constant for a static observer, and we found That it varies when the observer is comoving with cosmic expansion. We also analyzed its effect on the weak deflection angle by exploiting the Gauss-Bonnet theorem and its application to Einstein ring formation. We also consider the finite distance effect and massive particle deflection. Our results indicate that the far approximation of massive particle gives the largest deflection angle and amplifies the effect of $Q_\text{m}$ and $\gamma$. In this paper, we study rotating black holes in symmergent gravity, and use deviations from the Kerr black hole to constrain the parameters of the symmergent gravity. Symmergent gravity induces the gravitational constant $G$ and quadratic curvature coefficient $c_{\rm O}$ from the flat spacetime matter loops. In the limit in which all fields are degenerate in mass, the vacuum energy $V_{\rm O}$ can be wholly expressed in terms of $G$ and $c_{\rm O}$. We parametrize deviation from this degenerate limit by a parameter ${\hat \alpha}$ such that the black hole spacetime is dS for ${\hat \alpha} < 1$ and AdS for ${\hat \alpha} > 1$. In constraining the symmergent parameters $c_{\rm O}$ and ${\hat \alpha}$, we utilize the EHT observations on the M87* and Sgr. A* black holes. We investigate first the modifications in the photon sphere and shadow size, and find significant deviations in the photonsphere radius and the shadow radius with respect to the Kerr solution. We also find that the geodesics of time-like particles are more sensitive to symmergent gravity effects than the null geodesics. Finally, we analyze the weak field limit of the deflection angle, where we use the Gauss-Bonnet theorem for taking into account the finite distance of the source and the receiver to the lensing object. Remarkably, the distance of the receiver (or source) from the lensing object greatly influences the deflection angle. Moreover, $c_{\rm O}$ needs be negative for a consistent solution. In this work, we observe that in the presence of the string cloud parameter $a$ and the quintessence parameter $\gamma$, with the equation of state parameter $\omega_q={-2}/{3}$ the radius of the shadow of the Schwarzschild black hole increases as compared with the pure Schwarzschild black hole case. The existence of both quintessential dark energy and cloud of strings magnify the shadow size and hence the strength of the gravitational field around the Schwarzschild black hole increases. Using the data collected by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) collaboration for the M87* and Sgr A*, we obtain upper bounds on the values of the parameters $a$ and $\gamma$. Further, we see the effects of the parameters $a$ and $\gamma$ on the rate of emission energy for the Schwarzschild black hole. We notice that the rate of emission energy is higher in the presence of clouds of string and quintessence. Moreover, we study the weak deflection angle using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. In this work, we perform a systematic study of the symmergent gravity in a black hole environment. The symmergent gravity, an emergent gravity model in which gravity emerges in a way restoring the gauge symmetries and stabilizing the Higgs boson mass, possesses a quadratic-curvature term with a loop-induced coupling proportional to the boson-fermion number difference. We investigated boson-fermion number difference and black hole parameters in symmergent gravity by utilizing the values of various observables. In this regard, we investigated particle dynamics and obtained Keplerian frequencies describing the harmonic oscillations. We determined quasiperiodic oscillations about such orbits by utilizing relativistic precession, warped disk, and epicyclic resonant models. We studied weak deflection angle and planetary perihelion shift and determined bounds on symmergent gravity parameters. We computed shadow radius for both static and co-moving observers near and far from the symmergent black hole and revealed the sensitivity of these observers to the model parameters. We conclude the work by giving an overall discussion of the bounds, and giving future prospects concerning other possible analyses of the symmergent gravity., Comment: 21 pages, 20 figures. Poincar\'e Gauge's theory of gravity is the most noteworthy alternative extension of general relativity that has a correspondence between spin and spacetime geometry. In this paper, we use Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter and anti-de Sitter solutions, where torsion $\tau$ is added as an independent field, to analyze the weak deflection angles $\hat{\alpha}$ of massive and null particles in finite distance regime. We then apply $\hat{\alpha}$ to determine the Einstein ring formation in M87* and Sgr. A* and determine that relative to Earth's location from these black holes, massive torsion effects can provide considerable deviation, while the cosmological constant's effect remains negligible. Furthermore, we also explore how the torsion parameter affects the shadow radius perceived by both static and co-moving (with cosmic expansion) observers in a Universe dominated by dark energy, matter, and radiation. Our findings indicate that torsion and cosmological constant parameters affect the shadow radius differently between observers in static and co-moving states. We also show how the torsion parameter affects the luminosity of the photonsphere by studying the shadow with infalling accretion. Non-linear interaction between the electromagnetic fields (EMF) occurs when vacuum polarization in quantum electrodynamics (QED) happens. The field of non-linear electrodynamics, which may result from this interaction, could have important effects on black hole physics. This paper considers the asymptotically flat black hole solution in Einstein-nonlinear electrodynamics (NLE) fields. We study the effect of the NLE parameters on the black hole deflection angle using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem in weak field limits, shadow cast using the null geodesics method, and thin accretion disk using the Novikov-Thorne model. Motivated by (i) more and more interest in strong gravitational lensing by supermassive black holes due to the achievement of EHT observations, (ii) the ongoing popular topic on the possibility of Lorentz symmetry being broken in gravitation and its consequences, we will apply the Einstein bumblebee gravity with Lorentz violation (LV) to the study of strong gravitational lensing effect and the black hole shadow of slowly rotating Kerr-like black hole. In the strong gravitational lensing sector, we first calculate the deflection angel; then treating the slowly rotating Kerr-like black hole as supermassive M87* black hole, we evaluate the gravitational lensing observables (position, separation and magnification) and the time delays between the relativistic images. In the black hole shadow sector, we show the effect of LV parameter on the luminosity of the black hole shadow and photon sphere using the infalling spherical accretion. Moreover, we explore the dependence of various shadow observables on the LV parameter, and then give the possible constraint on the LV parameter by M87* black hole of EHT observations. We find that the LV parameter show significant effect on the strong gravitational lensing effect, the black hole shadow and photon sphere luminosity by accretion material. The quasinormal modes of the Kerr-like black bounce spacetime under the scalar field perturbations are studied. We derive the effective potential of scalar perturbation in Kerr-like black bounce spacetime, and study the influence of Kerr-like black bounce spacetime parameters on quasinormal modes by using WKB method and P\"{o}schl-Teller potential approximation. We find that Kerr-like black bounce spacetime has the analogous double-peaked potential as Schwarzschild-like black bounce spacetime, and mass of the scalar particle has a non-negligible effect on quasinormal modes of Kerr-like black bounce spacetime.

Horizon-scale images of black holes (BHs) and their shadows have opened an unprecedented window onto tests of gravity and fundamental physics in the strong-field regime. We consider a wide range of well-motivated deviations from classical General Relativity (GR) BH solutions, and constrain them using the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) observations of Sagittarius A$^*$ (Sgr A$^*$), connecting the size of the bright ring of emission to that of the underlying BH shadow and exploiting high-precision measurements of Sgr A$^*$'s mass-to-distance ratio. The scenarios we consider, and whose fundamental parameters we constrain, include various regular BHs, string-inspired space-times, violations of the no-hair theorem driven by additional fields, alternative theories of gravity, novel fundamental physics frameworks, and BH mimickers including well-motivated wormhole and naked singularity space-times. We demonstrate that the EHT image of Sgr A$^*$ places particularly stringent constraints on models predicting a shadow size larger than that of a Schwarzschild BH of a given mass, with the resulting limits in some cases surpassing cosmological ones. In this paper, we examine the weak deflection angle and greybody bound for magnetized regular black hole.$~$ For this purpose, we apply the Gauss-Bonnet theorem on the black hole and obtain the deflection angle in plasma and non-plasma mediums.$~$ Moreover, we investigate graphically the effect of impact parameter on the deflection angle for regular black hole in both mediums. Supermassive black holes from the center of galaxy may be immersed in a dark matter halo. This dark matter halo may form a "cusp" structure around the black hole and disappear at a certain distance from the black hole. Based on this interesting physical background, we use the continued fraction method to study gravitational ringring of the Kerr-like black holes immersed in a dark matter halo, i.e., quasinormal modes (QNM) and quasibound states (QBS). We consider these gravitational ringring of black holes both in cold dark matter (CDM) model and scalar field dark matter (SFDM) model at the LSB galaxy, and compare them with Kerr black hole. By testing the states of QNM/QBS frequencies with different parameters $l,m,a$, we confirm the existence of the superradiant instabilities when the black holes both in CDM model and SFDM model. Besides, we also study the impacts of dark matter parameters on the QNM/QBS of black holes at the specific circumstances. In the future, these results may be used for gravitational wave detection of supermassive black holes, and may provide an effective method for detecting the existence of dark matter.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the weak deflection angle of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity in the presence of plasma medium. To attain our results, we implement the Gibbons and Werner approach and use the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to Einstein gravity to acquire the resulting deflection angle of photon's ray in the weak field limit. Moreover, we illustrate the behavior of plasma medium and non-plasma mediums on the deflection of photon's ray in the framework of Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity. Gravitational decoupling can add hair to the black holes by adding extra sources. The quasinormal modes of hairy black hole caused by gravitational decoupling for the massless scalar field, electromagnetic field, and gravitational perturbation are investigated. The equations of effective potential for three perturbations are derived in hairy black hole spacetime. We also study the time evolution corresponding to the three perturbations, and the quasinormal mode frequencies are calculated using the Prony method through the time-domain profiles. By analyzing the influence of the hairs ($\alpha$, $l_0$ and $Q$) for the black holes we studying on quasinormal mode, we find that the hairs $\alpha$ and $l_0$ decrease the oscillation frequency of the gravitational wave signal, and the hair $Q$ increase its oscillation frequency.Furthermore, we have calculated the bounds of greybody factor and high-energy absorption cross section with the Sinc approximation, which reveals that the presence of charges ($\alpha$ and $l_0$) generating primary hair can increase the probability of gravitational radiation arriving spatial infinity, whereas the charge $Q$ from the extra sources does the opposite.
