In this paper, we derive two interesting formulas for square and square pyramidal numbers. We focus on the linear recurrence relation with constant coefficients for square and square pyramidal numbers. Then we deal with the relationship between generalized Fibonacci polynomials and these numbers. Also, we give some determinant representations of these numbers.

Background/Aim: The continuity of rehabilitation is a problem after arthroplasty operations. There is a need for accessible rehabilitation programs for patients. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in knee functions and patients' quality of life between patients doing home telerehabilitation and home rehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty (TKA).Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 90 patients, between June 2019 and January 2021. Patients are divided into three groups. Patients in group 1 are told to continue with the daily routine exercises which began in hospital. Group 2 patients got an information message to their mobile phones every day for the first month, reminding them of their postoperative exercises, whereas patients in group 3 are called by mobile phone for the same reminding. All patients participating in the study were evaluated by completing the Universities of Western Ontario and McMaster Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) scores, the Knee Society Clinical Evaluation System (KSS), the Barthel Index (BI) and the Quality of Life Scale Short Form 36 (SF-36) preoperatively and in the first and third months postoperatively, and the differences between the groups based on these scores were evaluated.Results: There was a statistically significant difference in WOMAC between the groups regarding first-month and third-month postoperatively (P=0.004 and P

Amaç: Radius distal kırıkları yaşlı popülasyonda en sık görülen kırıklardan biridir. Bu çalışmada, radius distal kırıkları nedeniyle konservatif tedavi edilen hastalarda radyolojik parametrelerdeki değişiklikleri kırık tiplerine ve yaş gruplarına göre değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.Yöntem: 10 Ocak 2015 ile Ocak 2019 tarihleri arasında distal radius kırığı nedeniyle konservatif tedavi alan hastalar geriye dönük olarak tarandı. Hastaların kırıkları Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen (AO) sınıflamasına göre gruplandı ve hastalar 75 yaş altı ve 75 yaş üstü olarak iki gruba ayrıldı. Hastaların kırık redüksiyonu sonrası ve tedavi sonundaki ulnar varyans, radyal eğim ve volar tilt değerleri incelenerek birbirleriyle karşılaştırıldı.Bulgular: Çalışmada 232 hastanın el bileği radyografileri değerlendirildi. AO sınıflamasına göre 151 hastada tip A (A2:144, A3:7), 46 hastada tip B (B1:6, B2:33, B3:7) ve 35 hastada tip C (C1:21, C2:10, C3:4) kırıklar vardı. 75 yaş altı grupta 134 hasta varken, 75 yaş üstü hasta grubunda 98 hasta vardı. Radyolojik parametreler (AO tip C kırıklarda volar tilt hariç) tedavi sonrası ilk değerlendirmeye göre kırık tipi ve yaştan bağımsız olarak bozuldu.Sonuç: Radius distal kırıkları nedeniyle konservatif tedavi edilen hastaların redüksiyon kalitesinin bozulabileceği, kabul edilen radyolojik parametrelerin kötüleşebileceği akılda tutulmalıdır. Yaşlı hastalarda bu parametrelerdeki bozulma cinsiyet, ulnar kırık varlığı ve kırık sınıflandırmasından bağımsızdır., Aim: Distal radius fractures are one of the most common fractures in the elderly population. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the changes in radiological parameters in patients treated conservatively for distal radius fractures according to fracture types and age groups.Methods: Patients who received conservative treatment for distal radius fractures between 10 January 2015 and January 2019 were retrospectively screened. Fractures of the patients were divided according to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen (AO) classification, and the patients were divided into two groups as under 75 years old and over 75 years old. Ulnar variance, radial inclination, and volar tilt values of the patients after fracture reduction and at the end of the treatment were examined and compared with each other.Results: Wrist radiographs of 232 patients were evaluated in the study. According to the AO classification, 151 patients had type A (A2:144, A3:7), 46 patients had type B (B1:6, B2:33, B3:7), and 35 patients had type C (C1:21, C2:10, C3:4) fractures. While there were 134 patients in the group under 75 years old, there were 98 patients in the patient group over 75 years old. Radiological parameters (except volar tilt in AO type C fractures) were found to be impaired according to the initial evaluation after treatment, regardless of the fracture type and age.Conclusion: It should be kept in mind that patients treated conservatively for distal radius fractures may impair the reduction quality of the patients, the accepted radiological parameters may deteriorate. In elderly patients, the deterioration in these parameters was independent of gender, the presence of ulnar fractures, and fracture classification.

The aim of the study is to investigate philosophy group teacher candidates’ attitudes of drama as an instructional method. The research is designed in descriptive survey model. A total of 187 philosophy group teacher candidates, 132 of whom were in the pedagogical formation program and 55 of whom were in the undergraduate program participated in the study. Personal Information Form and Creative Drama Attitude Scale were used to collect the data. Mann Whitney U test was used for data analysis. As a result of the research it was found that the philosophy group teacher candidates’ scores were clustered above the average for the scale total and the general attitudes towards drama subscale. In addition, the philosophy group teacher candidates’ scores for the personal attitudes towards themselves subscale were found to be clustered in average while the scores for the critical attitudes toward drama subscale were clustered below the average. Finally, it was found that philosophy group teacher candidates’ scores varied significantly by gender, by taking courses about drama and by wanting to take courses about drama. No significant differences were found in relation to the type of the program that the teacher candidates were attending., Araştırmada, felsefe grubu öğretmen adaylarının bir öğretim yöntemi olarak dramaya yönelik tutumlarının incelemesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Araştırmaya 132’si formasyon programına ve 55’i lisans programına devam eden toplam 187 felsefe grubu öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması için Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Yaratıcı Drama Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının aldıkları puanlarının ölçek genelinde ve dramaya yönelik genel tutumlar faktöründe ortalamanın üstünde, kendine yönelik tutumlar faktöründe ortalama civarında ve dramaya yönelik eleştirel tutumlar faktöründe ortalamanın altında yığılma gösterdiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca, öğretmen adaylarının dramaya yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet, drama ile ilgili ders alma ve ders almayı isteme durumlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği görülürken, devam ettikleri program türüne göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In the present paper, we study the associated polynomials of Perrin and Cordonnier numbers. We de...ne generalized Perrin and Cordonniermatrices using these polynomials. We obtain the inverse of generalized Cordonnier matrices and give some relationships between generalized Perrin andCordonnier matrices. In addition, we give a factorization of generalized Cordonnier matrices. Finally, we give some determinantal representation of associated polynomials Cordonnier numbers.
