The aim of this study is to determine the metric stability of the one-month handgrip test (HGT) in order to define the contractile characteristics of the biological variation of maximal isometric strength (Fmax) and maximal isometric rate of force development (RFDmax) of the handgrip in two different testing regimes (classic and impulse). The study was conducted with a total of 16 participants (11 men and 5 women). Testing was performed using an isometric handgrip probe with a standardized test protocol and equipment sports medical solutions (SMS). The results of Fmax showed a low relative standard error of the mean (RS = 1.33 %), a high value of inter-class correlation (ICC = 0.996), and no statistically significant change in trend (p > 0.05) during the testing period. Therefore, can conclude that the HGT procedure in classic mode can be used as a stable parameter in a human subject sample. However, the RFDmax results showed a low RS (2.13 %) and a high ICC value (0.996), but a statistically significant change of trend (p < 0.05) during the measurement period. The regression constant (RCO) trend was 42.629 N/s, which can be attributed to learning or to the adaptive effects of the test procedure, which triggered similar adaptation processes as the training. In general, it can be concluded that the handgrip can be used to sensitively measure the effects of different long-term health improvements, or the effects of different medical/health exercises, rehabilitation programs, effects of medication applications, or dietary supplements for Fmax. However, further research should be conducted for the RFDmax considering the metric stability parameters.

The aim of this study is to determine the impact of selected attributes, such as the length of coaching experience and the continuity of leading a single club in the Euroleague (EL), on achieved results, specifically on placement in the EL finals (Top 8). For the purposes of this non-experimental observation, selected parameters of 23 coaches (53.2 ± 7.5 years old) who led teams in the Euroleague during the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons were analyzed. The participation of coaches in leading clubs was analyzed up to the start of the 2017/2018 season (for the 2017/2018 season) and the 2018/2019 season (for the 2018/2019 season), and it is presented as their "unique professional experience" related to the competition in question. The observed variables pertain to the length of coaching experience with previous clubs and the current club, as well as the success in leading those clubs. The obtained results show that the length of experience alone does not play a significant role in success in this competition, but the continuity of leading a particular club is highly correlated with the same success. Both variables related to the length of experience with the current club, the number of seasons, and the number of matches with the current club, indicated significant differences between the two groups of coaches (p = 0.004 for the 2017/18 season and p = 0.011 for the 2018/19 season). Regarding success, it has been shown that significant influence on the placement of teams in the Top 8 phase of the EL in the observed seasons is the success in variables related to the current club (number of wins in the EL with the current club, number of losses in the EL with the current club, win-loss ratio in the EL with the current club), all showing high statistical significance in both the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. The conclusion is that the length of coaching experience is important, but the continuity of leading a single club is an even more important factor in the success of clubs in the EL. The results of this research can assist in the selection of coaches for clubs competing in the EL.

The aim of this research is to present the essential parameters related to the highest quality football teams attack tactics to the scientific and professional public by analyzing the longterm competitive manifestations in the Champions League elite football competition. The analysis comprises all the matches that have been played since the 2014/15 season ending up with the 2018/19 season, which means 625 played matches in total. In order to clearly present the top teams criteria related to the attack tactics, in this research, variables describing the ball possession and the attacks after which the goals were scored were observed. The results showed that the teams spent most of their time gaining the ball possession in the maneuvering third of the field (51%) and that the organization of the attack was dominated by the passes in the middle distances (10 - 30m). Apart from that, it was noticed that every tenth shot towardsthe goalrepresents an effective attack and that most of the goals are scored in the last 15 minutes of the game (p=0.008). When it comes to the structure of the effective attacks, the results showed that 76% of the goals are scored after the ball possession, while 1/4 of the effective actions ocurred after the organized set pieces attack. Additionaly, no significant differences regarding the prevalence of the activities that preceded the scoring of the goals from the game (p=0.16) and after the set pieces (p=0.88) by seasons were found. However, the final shots from the game were usually preceded by a pass from the side in the form of a cross shot and a return ball (p=0.000), and when it comes to organizing the offensive set pieces (p=0.000), the goals were most often scored after corners and penalties. The results obtained in thisresearch provide objective information that can be used for planning and organizing training units in the preparation of teams for competitive performances.
