3. Pressure Evolution of Magnetism in URhGa

Abstract

In this paper, we report the results of an ambient and high pressure study of a 5f-electron ferromagnet URhGa. The work is focused on measurements of magnetic and thermodynamic properties of a single crystal sample and on the construction of the p-T phase diagram. Diamond anvil cells were employed to measure the magnetization and electrical resistivity pressures up to ~ 9 GPa. At ambient pressure, URhGa exhibits collinear ferromagnetic ordering of uranium magnetic moments {\mu}U ~ 1.1 {\mu}B (at 2 K) aligned along the c-axis of the hexagonal crystal structure below the Curie temperature TC = 41K. With the application of pressure up to 5GPa the ordering temperature TC initially increases whereas the saturated moment slightly decreases. Abstract

The basic topic of this article is the undergraduate preparation of future teachers in the Czech Republic, specifically the issue of the pedagogical practices of future teachers. We focused mainly on reflective activities within this preparation. The first part of the article deals with the mapping of this area in the educational systems of other countries or other regions of the Czech Republic. The second part is devoted to a description of the current state of reflection among science teacher education students. It also proposes an innovation of the system of reflection implementation using modern IT tools in the context of full-time and distance education. Abstract

Material growth and measurement laboratory (MGML) is the newly established research infrastructure in Prague, Czech Republic. MGML offers open access for external users to the instrument suite dedicated to measurements of a rich spectrum of physical properties of materials in a wide range of temperatures (down to 10 mK), magnetic fields (up to 19.5 T), and hydrostatic and uniaxial pressures. The MGML technology facilities are enabling controlled preparation and characterization of high-quality samples (single crystals and polycrystals) of materials of various types which is available to users who do not have their own well-characterized samples needed for measurements.

Abstract

Práce se zaměřuje na odbornou přípravu staničních zaměstnanců ČD Cargo, a.s. V teoretické části je charakterizována problematika vzdělávání zaměstnanců s akcentem na legislativu upravující vzdělávání zaměstnanců v rámci jejich odborné přípravy. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na současný stav odborné přípravy staničních zaměstnanců v podniku ČD Cargo, a.s. Práce také analyzuje odbornou přípravu staničních zaměstnanců. V další části jsou navržena opatření na zefektivnění odborné přípravy zaměstnanců, které vychází z analytických výsledků práce. Závěr práce se zabývá vyhodnocením navrhnutých opatření., The work focuses on the professional training of ČD Cargo, a.s. station employees. In the theoretical part, the issue of employee education is emphasized with emphasis on legislation regulating the training of employees within their professional training. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the current state of training of station employees in ČD Cargo, a.s. The thesis also analyzes the training of station employees. In the next section, measures are proposed to streamline the training of employees based on the analytical results of the work. The conclusion deals with the evaluation of proposed measures., Dopravní fakulta Jana Pernera, Diplomant přednesl ucelenou a logicky uspořádanou obhajobu své diplomové práce. V ní dokázal přesvědčivým způsobem obhájit závěry svých řešení. Na poznámky, resp. připomínky oponenta reagoval správně a v plném rozsahu je zodpověděl. U doplňkových otázek prokázal schopnost logického myšlení, pohotové reakce, jasného a srozumitelného vysvětlení.

Abstract

The basic component of modern elearning systems is usually a course. This virtual learning unit corresponds with an existing educational process, or at least with one of its parts. A course is understood as a collection of individual objects which represent the subject matter, perform feedback activities or diagnostic testing. Individual objects are grouped into partial units which correspond with partial presence educational activities. If specific relations between objects, or partial units, are defined, there is a need for a good design of the learning course. The objective of a relation is to apply a high level of individual approach and adaptive mechanisms while keeping the quality of the learning course outcome. Those are the aspects that direct to the use of modelling tools in the area of elearning courses to develop quality courses.
