The paper introduces some peculiarities of the analysis of the photographic image which emerged in the process of the investigation and preparation for publication of the album of prelate Povilas Januševičius’ the end of 19th – beginning of 20th century. Miscellaneous analysis of photograph image is presented. It also introduces how problems of photograph dating could be solved by combining in sights of investigator as well as application of information technology. Among other things a technological study is being presented in which similarity of flowered tablecloth was analysed in different photographs. Up-to-date programs for processing and analyzing images open up completely new possibilities leading to automatic recognition and identification of objects, symbols and faces. Apie gėlėtą staltiesę ir XIX amžiaus fotografijos kompiuterinę vaizdo analizę Santrauka.Straipsnyje supažindinama su kai kuriomis senosios fotografijos datavimo problemomis, kurios iškilo rengiant publikavimui ir analizuojant bei komentuojant prelato Povilo Januševičiaus XIX amžiaus pabaigos – XX amžiaus pradžios fotografijų albumą. Pateikiama fotografijų vaizdo, fotografijų fotokortelių analizė. Supažindinama, kaip būtų galima spręsti fotografijų datavimo problemas, derinant tyrėjo įžvalgas ir pasitelkiant informacines technologijas. Taip pat pateikiamas technologinio pobūdžio tyrimas, kurio metu buvo tikrinamas gėlėtos staltiesės panašumas skirtingose nuotraukose. Šiuolaikinės vaizdo apdorojimo ir analizės programos suteikia kokybiškai naujas galimybes, kada tampa įmanomas automatizuotas objektų, simbolių ar veidų atpažinimas ir identifikavimas. Most building constructions made of various materials are assembled from standard items (reinforcement bars, steel profiles or wooden products). Their dimensions and shapes are known, therefore, the process can be formalized. This enables automation of many actions, as well as direct data transfer from a standard or catalogue into commands, which can be used in the process of project development and control. However, the existing standards of ferroconcrete reinforcement are presented in an unstructured form and cannot be used directly in computer science. The rational computer-aided application could be provided only on condition that the data would be structured and formalized in advance, which enables transformation of textual recommendations into digital models and commands. The paper addresses the problem of modelling of this process, which could enable the application of information technologies to using the data of the standards based on the abilities provided by computer intelligence.

Modelling of efficient city park design The design of urban parks is a complicated and intensive process. Structural design modelling and management is needed which can be efficiently realized using information technologies to reach the required results allowing to satisfy not only the demands of all groups of interest, but also aesthetical, ecological, town planning and the like requirements. Currently systems used for urban park design (GIS, landscape planning, visualization systems) can fulfil tasks which are given only by a designer. In order to use these systems more efficiently it is advisable to create an integrated design system which can incorporate design and database systems. To develop such an integrated system a model of intelligent park design should be created for transfering part of analytical work to computer, when the available data, design criterion and requirements of all groups of interest are estimated. Būtinas sisteminis projektavimo modeliavimas ir valdymas, kuris yra efektyvus taikant informacines technologijas. Projektuojant parkus būtina atsižvelgti į įvairių suinteresuotų grupių poreikius, taip pat į estetinius, architektūrinius, ekologinius, ekonominius reikalavimus. S˘iuo metu projektuojant parkus taikomos įvairios informacinės technologijos - geoinformacinės sistemos, kompiuterinio projektavimo ir grafinės sistemos, duomenų bazių valdymo sistemos. Tikslinga kurti integruotas parkų projektavimo ir valdymo sistemas, kurios jungtų projektavimo, duomenų valdymo, žinių sistemas į vieną branduolį, leidžiantį taikyti intelektinį parko ir infrastruktūros projektavimą ir valdymą. Problems of development of 3D city models are analysed. To develop such kind of model a great amount of information has to be computed. Collecting and matching the initial data is the most time and labour consuming job. Therefore first of all we have tried to investigate such a data source that would comprise the biggest part of needed data. We also have been looking for the data source that enabled us to constantly refresh and present the data describing the real or true to life situation. We have analysed the possibilities of city cadastral information system and here we state that it is suitable for that purpose. This article presents the idea how 3D city model consisting of prismatic building block models could be developed with the help of available cadastral information. Nagrinėjamos miesto erdvinio modelio kūrimo problemos. Kuriant tokį modelį reikia apdoroti labai didelius informacijos kiekius. Daugiausia laiko ir jėgųįdedama pradiniams duomenims surinkti ir suderinti tarpusavyje. Dėl šios priežasties pirmiausia buvo ieškoma tokio duomenų šaltinio, kuriame jau būtų sukaupta didesnė dalis reikalingų duomenų. Pradinių duomenų šaltiniui buvo keliamas patikimumo reikalavimas. Straipsnyje pateikiama idėja, kaip miesto 3D modelis gali būti kuriamas taikant kadastro informaciją. Анализируются проблемы создания трехмерной модели города. При создании такой модели необходимо обработать большое количество информации. Наибольших затрат времени и сил требует сбор и согласование начальных данных. По этой причине прежде всего исследовался источник с наибольшим количеством необходимых данных. К источнику предъявлялись также требования достоверности начальных данных. В статье представлена идея о создании трехмерной модели городас применением для этого данных из кадастра.

So far computer educational engineering graphics has been using not all its possibilities , because it is based on obsolete visualization methods. Formation of a new conception and technology is based on two conditions: (1) the requirements and tasks have changed in computing, so the studying of traditional methods became useless, because those methods are not used in real life; (2) the possibilities of graphics have also changed. The automatic analysis of computer drawing is possible nowadays, that was impossible using traditional technologies. Besides, additional engineering information can be attached to computer drawing. Consequently, graphical content gains essentially new informative possibilities. The new outlook of graphics should be rebuilt injustice to positive aspects of traditional things and new possibilities of information technologies. This task can be solved by modelling information engineering graphics (IEG) and all its component parts. In VGTU an IEG model is evolved, which include a common and a special part. The common IEG part includes information geometric drawing, surface and volumetric modelling, interactive and automatic generation and/or modelling of projections and information building drawing fundamentals. The models of information geometrical drawing are presented in this paper. Those models are the foundation of2D graphics.

This paper deals with problems that are related to representation and modelling of 3D objects in different engineering areas. Surface-based and volume-based models aer commonly used in CAD systems, but another types of models are also important in nowadays engineering because they provide new possiblities for solving engineering problems.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjamos technologijos naudojamos 3D veido atkūrime. Pasirinkus 3D veido atkūrimą iš nuotraukos yra nagrinėjami šio proceso metu naudojami 3D bendriniai modeliai, jų sandara, bei juos naudojantys metodai. Taip pat nagrinėjamas veido savybių taškų aptikimas naudojant aktyvios formos modelius, bendrinio modelio interpoliavimas naudojant plonųjų plokštumų splainų metodą, bei ortogonalus tekstūros projektavimas modeliui. Taip pat pateikiamas naujas siūlomas veido formos modelis aprašantis papildomas savybes. Praktinėje dalyje yra pateikiama sukurta programa, kuri pateikus vieną veido nuotrauką automatiškai atkuria 3D veidą su tekstūra. Gautas 3D veidas gali būti eksportuotas į OBJ formato bylą. Gauti rezultatai yra įvertinami apskaičiuojant paklaidą tarp realių ir atkurtų veidų, naudojant lazeriu nuskaitytų 3D veidų duomenų bazę. The aim of this master thesis is to examine the technologies that are being used for 3D face reconstruction. 3D generic face models, their structure, and methods they are being used with, are being analyzed after selecting reconstruction from single photo technology. Also facial feature points detection while using active shape models, 3D generic face interpolation, and orthogonal texture mapping for model are being analyzed. Also a new facial shape model is defined. Automated 3D face reconstruction application was developed based on previous analysis. Application is capable of automatically reconstructing full 3D face model with texture from single frontal face picture. Resulting face model can be exported to another software by using OBJ file format. The results of application are being evaluated while calculating error between real and reconstructed faces, while using laser scanned 3D face database.

Šiame darbe yra tiriamos atrankiojo aplinkos 3D geometrijos atstatymo galimybės panaudojant Kinect jutiklio kombinuotą vaizdo-gylio kamerą: pateikiamas matematinis atstatymo modelis, jo parametrizavimui reikalingi koeficientai, apibūdinama tikėtinų paklaidų apimtis, siūloma aktualių scenos duomenų išskyrimo iš scenos procedūra, tiriamas gaunamo modelio triukšmas ir jo pašalinimo galimybės ir metodai. Atstatyta geometrija yra pateikiama metrinėje matų sistemoje, ir kiekvienas 3D scenos taškas papildomai saugo savo spalvinę informaciją. Praktinėje dalyje pateikiama sukurta taikomoji programa yra įgyvendinta naudojant C++ ir OpenCV matematines programavimo bibliotekas. Ji atlieka 3D geometrijos atstatymą pagal pateiktą teorinį modelį, išskiria aktualius scenos duomenis, pašalina triukšmą ir gali išsaugoti gautus duomenis į 3D modeliavimo programoms suprantamą PLY formato bylą. Darbą sudaro: įvadas, 3 skyriai, išvados ir literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis – 61 p. teksto be priedų, 43 paveikslai, 4 lentelės, 22 bibliografiniai šaltiniai. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities of selective 3D geometry reconstruction using Kinect combined image-depth camera: a mathematical reconstruction model is provided, as well as coefficients to parametrize it and estimates on expected precision; a procedure on filtering out the background from depth image is proposed, depth image noise and possibilities for its removal are studied. Resulting reconstructed geometry is provided using metric system of measurement, and each 3D point also retains it's color data. Resulting application is implemented in C++ programming language and uses OpenCV programming library. It implements 3D geometry reconstruction as described in theory section, removes background from depth image, as well as noise, and is able to save the resulting 3D geometry to a 3D modeling applications readable file format. Structure: introduction, 3 chapters, conclusions, references. Thesis consists of – 61 p. of text, 43 figures, 4 tables, 22 bibliographical entries.

Objekto atpažinimas ir pozicijos nustatymas gali būti pritaikomas daugeliui pramonėje egzistuojančių uždavinių. Šio darbo pagrindinis tikslas yra sukurti mašininės regos sistemą, kuria būtų galima greitai ir tiksliai rasti objekto poziciją pagal pasirinktą objekto modelį. Šiame darbe gilinamasi į GPU veikimo principus ir privalumus apdorojant vaizdus GLSL programavimo kalba. Apžvelgiami praktikoje taikomų metodų, skirtų objekto pozicijai nustatyti, veikimo principai, jų privalumai ir trūkumai. Taip pat šiame darbe aprašomas suformuotas ir įgyvendintas realaus laiko metodas, naudojantis GPU teikiama sparta atlikti vartotojo pasirinkto modelio paiešką. Pabaigoje pateikiami pasiekti įgyvendinto metodo spartos rodikliai, privalumai ir trūkumai. Darbą sudaro: įvadas, mašininėje regoje pasitaikančių problemų tyrinėjimas, objekto paieškos metodų apžvalga, darbo su grafinėmis vaizdo plokštėmis privalumai ir trūkumai, objekto paieškos su grafine vaizdo plokšte metodas, pasiekti rezultatai, išvados ir literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis – 53 p. teksto be priedų, 30 pav., 2 lent., 26 literatūros šaltiniai. Object recognition and parameter detection could be used in many areas from electronics to food industry. One of the most important problems in laser industry is to transform laser work trajectories based on constant object model. In the real life applications model could be rotated or translated due to the fact that object must be put in laser work area. The translation and rotation of object must be found to fit user defined constant model. There are many methods for object parameters detection, but image processing tasks require a lot of computing power. Recent research on image processing with graphics processing units - GPU, shows huge performance results compared with central processing units – CPU. The purpose of this work is to find out the main fundamentals for fast and accurate object parameter detection in machine vision systems. In this work it is focused on object parameter detection with GPU. Moreover, the analysis and comparison of different object parameters detection methods are proposed. Object parameter detection system was implemented with C++ and GLSL shading language, thus the system could be adapted to different computer hardware and operating systems.
