This study focuses on welding of AW6082-T6 aluminium alloy and investigation of the microhardness and microstructure properties in the heat affected and fusion zones using pulsed inert gas arc welding. The effect of welding current on microstructure and solidification variables of the double-sided welds has been studied. The microhardness analysis of the welded joints has been carried out to evaluate the effect of microstructural variations of the weld seam zones. A comparison research on the microhardness and microstructure of opposite sides of the weld after natural aging is presented. The results indicate that the influence of natural long-term aging on the microhardness of the weld seam zones is evident. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.mech.25.2.22008

The objective of the paper is a comparison of different hardness measuring methods for the evaluation of mechanical properties in a wide load range (7-250 mN) for heterogeneous structures. Vickers nano and microindentation hardness test was used for mechanical properties assay of chosen samples. Relationships between nanohardness and microhardness were obtained for heat affected zones and fusion zone of the welds and the copper coatings on steel substrates. In this study, microstructural, micro hardness evaluation and residual stress distribution, of low carbon steel after single pass gas metal arc welding technique (GMAW) were investigated. The goal of this investigation were to reveal the microstructures, micro hardness, residual stress distribution and tensile strength of welded joints by using welding current as varying parameter. In order to realize this objective, welded plate of low carbon steel with thickness of 2.5mm and 250mm long by 200mm wide were welded together with different welding current of 70A, 100A through MIG process. Four different parts of samples were tried. The first part of samples was annealed in a furnace to a temperature of 750 and allowed to cool in air before welding. While the second was not heated, third and fourth trials were heated to a temperature of 200˚C and 580˚C respectively after the welding and allowed cooling in air. Nikon optic microscope and CSM micro hardness testing instrument were used to determine the microstructure of the weld bead and HAZ of the samples, and hardness tests were carried out at different zones of welded joint. [to full text] Šiame darbe aprašomi mikrostruktūros, mikrokietumo nustatymo bei liekamųjų įtempimų pasiskirstymo tyrimai mažo anglingumo plienuose po lankinio suvirinimo. Tyrimo tiksla - nustatyti suvirintos jungties mikrostuktūros ir mikrokietųmo priklausomybę nuo suvirinimo srovės, kaip kintamo dydžio. Remiantis užduotimi buvo suvirintos 2.5 mm storio, 250 mm ilgio ir 200 mm pločio mažaanglio plieno plokštės, naudojant skirting dydžio (70A ir 100A) suvirininant apsauginių dujų aplinkoje (MIG) srovę. Buvo paruoštos keturios partijos bandinių. Pirmoji partija, proies suvirinant, buvo atkaitinta 750°C temperatųroje, ir ataušintas ore. Tuo tarpu antroji partija nebuvo apdorojama, o trečioji ir ketvirtoji atleista 200 C° ir 580°C temperatūroje ir atvėsinta ore. Suvirinimo vonelės ir erminio poveikio zonos mikrostruktūrai tirti bei mikrokietumui nustatyti buvo naudotas Nicon optinis mikroskopas bei CSM mikrokietumo bandymų įrenginys. Matuojant CSM įrenginiu, 20N įspaudimo apkrova, buvo pastebėtas įdomus kietuvo būvis, kuris atskleidė ryšį tarp kietumo, elastingumo ir plastiškumo esantį suvirintų plokštelių terminio poveikio zonoje bei suvirinimo vonelėje. Buvo matuojamas suvirintų bandinių stiprumas tempiant ir liekamųjų įtempimų pasiskirstymas. Tempimo stiprumo bandymų duomenys parodė ducharakteringus suirimo atvejus – plastiio-elastinio bei trapaus tipo. Liekamųjų įtempimų bandymų rezultati neparodė rėikšmingos liekamųjų įtempimų įtakos pasirinktomis sąlygomis suvirintuose bandiniuose.

Tyrimo tikslas – įvertinti skirtingo natūralaus pluošto įtaką kompozicinės medžiagos polietilenas – pluoštas“ mechaninėms savybėms. Bandinių gamyba bei medžiagų mechaninių savybių tyrimai atlikti 2013/2014 m. Aleksandro Stulginskio universitete, Jėgos ir transporto mašinų inžinerijos instituto ir Žemės ūkio inžinerijos ir saugos instituto laboratorijose. Tyrinėjami kompozitai armuoti trimis skirtingai natūraliais pluoštais: kanapių, dilgėlių ir linų. Polietileno klijų kompozitas armuojamas keturiais kiekiais pluošto: 5 %,7 %, 10 % ir12 %. Tempimo ir lenkimo bandymai atlikti „Instron“ medžiagų savybių tyrimo stendu, nustatyta apkrova, kurią atlaiko bandinys ir deformacija. Atlikus lenkimo ir tempimo tyrimus nustatyta, kad geriausia armuojanti medžiaga yra kanapių pluoštas. Tempiant atlaikė didžiausią apkrovą – 753,7 N ir deformavosi 4 mm. Lenkiant kanapių pluoštu armuotas bandinys atlaikė 24,3 N apkrovą ir deformavosi 11,6 mm. The aim - to evaluate the influence of different natural fiber composite polyethylene - fibers' mechanical properties. Specimen fabrication and mechanical properties of the materials were tested in 2013/2014 year. Alexander Stulginskio University, Power and Transport Machine Engineering and the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Safety Institute laboratories. Reinforced composites are studied in three different natural fibers: hemp, ramie and flax. Polyethylene adhesive composite reinforced with four volumes of fiber: 5%, 7%, 10%, and 12%. Tensile and flexural tests were examined by using "Instron" material properties testing machine down load the sample and can withstand deformation. After bending and tensile tests showed that the best reinforcement material is hemp. Tensile withstood the maximum load - 753.7 N and deformed 4 mm. bending of hemp fiber reinforced sample withstood 24.3 N load and 11.6 mm.

Žemės ūkio paskirties traktorių pagrindinis tikslas yra atlikti tempimo darbus esant įvairioms sąlygoms ir skirtingiems kelio paviršiams. Traukos jėga priklauso nuo traktoriaus eksploatacinių rodiklių, tokių kaip: ratų sukibimas su paviršiumi ir jų buksavimo dydis, traktoriaus išvystoma traukos galia ir t.t. Visi šie rodikliai kinta kintant traktoriaus bendrajai masei tuo pačiu ir vertikaliosioms apkrovoms veikiančioms kiekvieną iš traktoriaus ratų. Todėl atliekant įvairius žemės ūkio darbus, reikia tinkamai įvertinti traktorių veikiančias statines bei dinamines apkrovas. Magistrinio darbo tema – išanalizuoti traktoriaus ratus veikiančias reakcijos jėgas, esant skirtingiems agregato prikabinimo aukščiams ir kampams. Atlikus tyrimus, gautos priklausomybės rodo, jog didinant traukos jėgą priešinga kryptimi negu traktorius juda, apkrovos, veikiančios traktoriaus galinius ratus didėja, o priekinius – mažėja. Veikiant traukos jėga nukreipta horizontaliu kampu (imituojant posūkį į kairę pusę) kairės pusės traktoriaus ratus veikiančios apkrovos kito intensyviau negu dešinės pusės ratų. The main purpose for agricultural tractor is to make pulling actions in various conditions and on various surfaces. Tractor pulling force depends on tractor performances such as: wheel grip with surface and their slippage value, tractor traction force etc. These performances depends on tractor weight and on its vertical wheel loads. Seeking for the best tractor efficiency while doing agricultural work it is necessary to sum up static and dynamic loads effecting tractor. Chosen Master thesis is designed to investigate tractor wheel static load, when simulating implement pull with different hitching heights and angles. After the research it can be stated that the increasing pulling force with the direction opposite tractor movement, rear wheel loads increase, while front wheel loads decrease. While pulling force with horizontal angle is increased (turning to the left is simulated), left side wheel loads varies with greater values than loads of the right side wheel.

Šiame darbe yra nagrinėjamos kukurūzų grūdų ir burbuolių fizikinės-mechaninės savybės, jų brendimo laikotarpyje, veikiant pusiau statine apkrova. Literatūros apžvalgoje atlikta kukurūzų burbuolių ir grūdų fizikinių-mechaninių savybių bei grūdų tamprumo modulio mokslinių tyrimų analizė. Moksliniai eksperimentiniai tyrimai buvo atlikti 2012 metų rugsėjo-spalio mėnesiais, dukart savaitėje, Žemės ūkio mašinų tyrimų laboratorijoje fizikinių-mechaninių savybių tyrimo mašina „Instron 5960“. Eksperimentiniais tyrimais nustatyti kukurūzų grūdų ir burbuolių biometriniai rodikliai. Tirtas kukurūzų burbuolių atsparumas lenkimui ir gniuždymui. Atlikti grūdo atskyrimo jėgos nustatymo spaudžiant juos eilutėje specialiu antgaliu tyrimai. Atliktas grūdų gniuždymo bandymas, spaudžiant grūdą iki visiško suirimo. Tyrimų duomenys apdoroti statistiškai. Tyrimais nustatyta, kad grūdams bręstant, rugsėjo-spalio mėnesiais, kukurūzų grūdų drėgnis sumažėja nuo 50,94±1,64% iki 36,21±0,52%, o maksimali jėga, reikalinga suardyti grūdą, padidėja nuo 91,54±16,75 N iki 200,67±18,43 N. This study was carried out to determine the physical and mechanical properties in different physiological maturity stage of corn grains and corn ears. The study of the mechanical properties of corn grains and ears were performed under quasi-static conditions with the unit “Instron-5960”. Corn ears bending were determined, when the gap between the support beams was 60 mm and 120 mm. The rupture force of ear breaking decreases with an increasing of distance between the supports. The grain was loaded at three different orientations: over the length, over the width and over the thickness. Single grain was placed between two parallel plates and gradually compressed, while simultaneously recording the force and the corresponding deformation that occurred until the grain ruptured. At this point the force suddenly decreased, while the deformation continued. In most cases the initial portion of the load-deformation curve of the grain is approximately linear up to certain levels of deformation beyond which it became non-linear. The observed bioyield point represents the yield point in the biological materials. This is an indication of initial cell rupture in the cellular structure of the material. Research data were processed statistically. The results showed that the max rupture force of corn grain increased from 91.54±16.75 N to 200.67±18.43 N by decreasing the moisture content from 50.94±1.64% to 36.21±0.52%, respectively. 5 conclusions summarize this work and, finally, the list of... Tirta metalo gaminių įmonės moterų – pakuotojų krovos rankomis darbai atsižvelgiant į darbo aplinkos sąlygas: darbo sunkumą, mikroklimatą bei triukšmą. Įvairių darbų (vinių pakavimo, supakuotų dėžučių nešimo ir krovimo) sunkumas buvo tiriamas teoriniais skaičiavimais ir eksperimentiniais tyrimais, naudojant žmogaus organizmo fiziologinių pokyčių tyrimo metodą – širdies pulso matavimą. Šiluminė aplinka vertinta rudens ir žiemos periodais. Atlikus matavimus pakuotojų darbo vietoje buvo nustatyta, kad sunkiausias darbas yra dėžučių krovimas – širdies ritmas pakilo iki 135 dūžių per minutę, kuriuos pagal Tarptautinės darbo organizacijos klasifikaciją galima priskirti sunkiems (pulsas 125–150 min-1) darbams. Šiluminė aplinka darbo vietoje labai nepalanki žmogaus organizmui, nes rudens periodu temperatūra yra 9 – 12 °C, o žiemos periodu temperatūra dar žemesnė – nuo 6 iki 9 °C. Santykinis drėgnis daugiau kaip 75 %, Ištyrus triukšmą nustatyta, kad darbuotoją veikiantis triukšmas neviršija žemutinės 80 dBA ribinės vertės veiksmams pradėti. In this work was studied of metal products company of women - works hand-loading packer according to working environment conditions: work heaviness, microclimate and noise. A strain of various works (pegs packing, packaged in boxes carrying solutions, and loading) was studied with theoretical calculations and with experiments. For this experiment was used a research method of human’s organism physiological changes – a measurement of heart beats. A thermal environment was evaluated in autumn and winter periods. When the measurement in a packaging in the workplace was finished, was established the fact, that the most hard work on boxes loading, according to International Labor organization (ILO), this work can be ascribed to hard works group (pulse 125-150 min-1). Thermal environment in the workplace is very unfavourable to human’s organism, because in autumn period temperature is 9-12°C, in winter period from 6 to 9 °C. Relative moisture top 75 %. When a noise in the workplace was studied, was established the fact, that a noise, which have an effect on worker, do not overdraw ground 80 dBA limit.

Mechanical properties of polymers are reviewed and the phenomenon of the abrasive wear is analyzed in the literary part. The researches of other authors on the abrasive wear and their results are surveyed. Laboratory equipment for carrying out the abrasive wear researches is introduced. Optimal mount of laboratory simulation for modeling polymeric material wear in the abrasive environment is chosen. The testing materials‘ properties are characterized. The results of researches on polymeric materials, used in enginery, on the wear in the abrasive environment are presented. The carried out research showed that wear results of the same materials under different testing conditions (“polymer-abrasive”, “polymer-steel disc” ASTM G176-03) the dependence of wear on hardness end on the coefficient of friction differs. That is influenced by the choice of polymeric materials. The scope of the work is 62 pages: 57 pictures, 1 table, 7 appendixes are included, 25 sources of literature were referred to in this work.
