Using fluorinated ethylene/vinyl monomer copolymerized fluorocarbon resin (FEVE) as the bonding base materials and three different particle sizes of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the lubricant and anti-corrosion filler, a fluorocarbon composite coating material with both friction and corrosion resistance was prepared on the surface of the sample by spraying and curing at room temperature. The hardness and adhesion of the composite coating is evaluated by mechanical properties testing. The friction reduction properties of the coatings were tested and analyzed by means of a multifunctional friction and wear tester in dry friction as well as in water and oil lubricated environments. The corrosion resistance of the composite coating was characterized and analyzed by coating immersion tests and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the appropriate amount of PTFE can effectively reduce the friction factor of the fluorocarbon composite coating. When the mass ratio of PTFE to FEVE is 4.5: 3, the friction factor of the coating in dry friction and water lubrication is ().067 and 0.062 respectively, reducing 85% and 92% respectively compared with the pure FEVE coating. Tn addition, when the PTFE particle size is 5/im, the friction factor of the coating is only ()/)55 under oil lubrication, while the composite coating has excellent corrosion resistance.
