OBJECTlVE:To probe into the effects anrl adverse drug reactions of lornoxieain on patient controlled subcutaneous analgesia in elderly hip replacement patients, so as to provide reference for clinical drug use. METHODS: 87 cases of total hip replacement or half total hip replacement admitted into Nanyang Orthopaedic Hospital from Jan. 2014 to Jan. 2016 were randomly selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table, with 42 eases in control group and 45 eases in observation group. The control group were treated with sufentanil analgesia after surgery, while the observation group additionally received lornoxicam analgesia based o the control group. The visual analogue scale ( VAS) , bruggrmann comfort scale (BCS) and adverse drug reactions at different time points(after surgery of 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 24 h and 48 h)of two groups were compared. RESULTS: After surgery, the VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at different time points, while the BCS score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0. 05 ). The incidence of adverse drug reactions in observation group was 15. 56% (7/45), and in control group was 14. 29% (6/42 ) , there was no significant difference between two groups {P >0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: The use of lornoxicam for patient controlled subcutaneous analgesia in elderly hip replacement patients can effectively relieve the postoperative pain, improve patients’ comfort with safe medication.
