P(論文), Since the clinical report of erythrophobia by Morita, a great number of psychiatrists aswell as psychologists have focused their attention on anthropophobia named taijin-kyoufushoin Japan. This syndrome is a culturally distinct phobia in japan and included in the officialJapanese diagnostic system for mental disorders. Its symptom is characterized as an individual'sintense fear or shame that his or her appearance, facial expression, eyeshot, or odor shoulddisplease, embarrass, or be offensive to other people. In this paper, I first presented thedefinition of taijin-kyoufusho and then its classification proposed by several researchers. Next,I overviewed various interpretations of the mechanisms of this phobia from psychodynamicviewpoints. Finally, I referred to the current problems of the phobia.

成人型アトピー性皮膚炎 (atopic dermatitis : AD) 患者8例 (男性4例, 女性4例, 平均26歳) に対して, 週に1回, 計8週間の鍼治療を行い, 神経症症状の変化について, 心身医学的検査 (Cornell Medical Index : CMI) および独自に開発した自覚的かゆみ尺度を用いて評価した。治療前に, CMIの深町の神経症判別基準において正常域にあるものは1名のみであり, 残りの7名は何らかの神経症症状を示していた。8週間の治療によって, 深町の神経症判別基準では4名が改善, 4名が不変であり, 項目別では, 身体的自覚症のうち習慣の項目が, また精神的自覚症の合計と不適応の項目が Wilcoxon 検定で有意の改善を認めた。また自覚的かゆみ尺度は, 鍼治療の前後で, 平均2.75から1.00に下がり, 全例が改善した。通常の神経症患者には, 性格的素質, 生活史上の体験, 現在の環境などの因子が関与しているが, AD患者の場合, AD患者であることによる二次性の心理社会的ストレスが複雑に絡み合って神経症症状を形成していると考えられ, この悪循環の改善の一助として鍼治療が有効であると思われた。 / The authors studied the psychosomatic effects of acupuncture in patients with atopic dermatitis. The subjects were eight adult patients with atopic dermatitis, four males and four females, averaged 26 years old. They received acupuncture therapy once a week for 8 weeks. Before and after 8 week-therapy, the authors evaluated their psychosomatic symptoms by Cornell Medical Index (CMI) and the originally developed self-rating scale for itching. Before the treatment, seven patients had psychosomatic symptoms on the basis of Fukamachi's criteria of CMI and for of 8 patients showed marked improvement after acupuncture therapy. At the end of acupuncture treatment, habits-related somatic symptoms, total psychical symptoms and the self-rating scale for itching were all significantlly reduced (P

本稿では，現代社会における「神経症」に見られる特性について，E.フロムの社会心理学の観点から論究する。「神経症」という用語は，1980年に出された国際診断基準（DSM-Ⅲ）から削除され，代わって各症状が細分化されて扱われるようになった。しかし神経症は依然として近代社会以降の「文明病」としてみなされている側面があることから，本稿ではあえて「神経症」という語を取り上げ，現代社会における人間に対する社会的影響という観点からその構図を見ていくことにする。1章では，神経症が現在，精神医学や心理学で考えられているその特徴を確認する。2章では，フロイトの神経症論に対するフロムの批判を取り上げるとともに，フロムの神経症論の特徴を見ていく。3章では，フロムのとらえた神経症における「偶像崇拝的指向」という観点から，神経症を，人間を取り巻く諸関係からの「疎外された病理」として見ていく。特に，現代社会における数量化・抽象化といった感覚と，性格構造の中核としての「市場的性格」の影響とから，人々は人生の確信となるような＜価値あるもの／こと＞を見失ってしまっていることを取り上げる。そしてその＜価値あるもの／こと＞に代わって，自身にまつわる「何か」を偶像として投影することにより，神経症状が発症するに至るということを論じていく。最後に，4章では，人々に確信を与える「共通感覚」＝「常識」が，「匿名の権威」となっていることを取り上げ，権威を求める歪んだ形式としての神経症の発症可能性について示唆していく。

So-called vegetative dystonia is a disorder characterized by patients’ complaint without organic changes. In this presentation, 21 outpatients who were diagnosed to be functional symptomes at psychosomatic clinic were examined using psychological tests (Cornell Medical Index (CMI), Self Rating Questionaire for Depression (SRQ-D)). Grade 4 and 3 in Fukamachi's classification of CMI were considered to indicate neurosis and neurosis suspected neurosis. 76 % of these patients was diagnosed as neurosis or neurosis suspected, and 56 % as depressive state by using SRQ-D. Only one patient was diagnosed to be vegetative dystonia. From these results, so-called vegetative dystonia should be studied bio-psycho-social approaches.
