BACKGROUND: It was found that moxibustion can inhibit the inflammatory factors in the serum of rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury, resist oxidative stress, inhibit cell apoptosis, and effectively reduce cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of different moxibustion intervention time on the expression levels of nucleotide binding oligomerization domain-like protein 3 inflammasome (NLRP3), cysteine aspartase (caspase-1), apoptosis-related speck-like protein, exfoliatin-D protein, interleukin-1β and interleukin-18 in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury, and to explore its action mechanism. METHODS: SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (n=9) and operation group (n=36). The model of focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion in the operation group. After successful modeling, the rats in the operation group were further divided into model group, moxibustion 10-minute group, moxibustion 15-minute group and moxibustion 30-minute group, with 9 rats in each group. Rats in the moxibustion 10-minute, 15-minute and 30-minute groups were given moxibustion at “Baihui, Dazhui and Zusanli”, respectively, once a day for a total of 7 days. The neurological deficits of rats were evaluated by LONGA method. The cerebral infarction was observed by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. The pathological changes of brain tissue were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The contents of interleukin-1β and interleukin-18 in serum of rats in each group were detected by ELISA. Immunohistochemistry and western blot assay were used to detect the expression levels of NLRP3, caspase-1, apoptosis-related spot-like protein and gasdermin D in the ischemic cortex of rats in each group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with the sham operation group, the neurological deficit score of the model group was significantly increased (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, the neurological deficit score of the moxibustion groups was significantly reduced (P < 0.01). Compared with the sham operation group, the infarct volume of the model group was significantly increased (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, the infarct volume of the moxibustion groups was significantly reduced (P < 0.01); the infarct volume of the rats was smallest in the moxibustion 30-minute group (P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, the contents of inflammatory factors interleukin-1β and interleukin-18 in the serum of rats in the moxibustion groups were decreased (P < 0.01). Compared with the moxibustion 10-minute group, the contents of inflammatory factors in the serum of rats in the moxibustion 30-minute group were significantly decreased (P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, the expression of NLRP3, apoptosis-related spot-like protein, Caspase-1 and gasdermin D protein in the ischemic cortex of the moxibustion groups was significantly decreased (P < 0.01). Compared with the moxibustion 10-minute and 15-minute groups, the expression of protein in the moxibustion 30-minute group was significantly decreased (P < 0.05). It is concluded that moxibustion at Baihui, Dazhui and Zusanli can reduce cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury, among which moxibustion for 30 minutes has the best effect, and its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of pyroptosis mediated by NLRP3/Caspase-1 pathway. This paper summarized integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment and nursing of patient with postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome. Changes in the patient’s condition were assessed and analyzed, and a comprehensive treatment plan including acupoint application combined with moxibustion, dietary guidance, gastrointestinal decompression, psychological care and other interventions were carried out to relieve the symptom of stomach fullness and improve the early rehabilitation of gastrointestinal function. Constipation is a major complication after stroke which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques has been widely used in clinical practice in recent years. This paper reviewed the studies on Traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques including moxibustion, auricular acupoint pressing, acupoint application and abdominal massage in treating post-stroke constipation, and provided reference for clinical practice of constipation management in stroke patients. Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion on the Young's modulus of lumbar muscle groups, hind limb gait parameters, and bone mineral density in ovariectomized rats, and to explore the role of moxibustion in improving muscle function in ovariectomized rats based on the theory of musculoskeletal interaction. Methods Thirty-two SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: sham operation group, model group, moxibustion group, and estrogen group, with 8 rats in each group. Rats in the model group, moxibustion group, and estrogen group were ovariectomized. The acupoints of the moxibustion group were taken from both sides of the Liver-Yu and Kidney- Yu for 15 minutes each time, once every other day, 3 times a week for a total of 12 weeks. After the intervention, real-time shear wave ultrasound elastography (SWE) was used to determine the Young's modulus of lumbar muscle groups in rats. The gait analysis system WalkAnalysator VTX recorded the support duration (s), swing duration (s), swing speed (cm/s), and stride width (cm) of the hind limb. Micro-CT was used to detect bone mineral density (BMD), bone volume fraction (BV/TV), trabecular bone thickness (Tb.Th), and trabecular bone separation (Tb.Sp) in the right femur. Results Compared to those in the sham operation group, the Young's modulus in lumbar muscle group decreased (P<0.01), the support duration, swing duration, and step width of hind limbs increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), the swing speed decreased (P<0.01), BMD, Tb.Th, and BV/TV of the right femur decreased (P<0.01), and the Tb.Sp increased (P<0.01). Compared to those in the model group, the Young's modulus of lumbar muscle group in the moxibustion group and estrogen group increased (P<0.05), the hindlimb support duration, swing duration, and step width shortened (P<0.05, P<0.01), the swing speed increased (P<0.01), BMD, Tb.Th, and BV/TV of the right femur increased (P<0.01), and the Tb.Sp decreased (P<0.01). Conclusion Moxibustion Liver-Yu and Kidney-Yu increases the Young's modulus value of lumbar muscle groups in ovariectomized rats, affects the gait parameters of hind limbs, thereby improving muscle function and improving BMD. Objective To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing combined with comprehensive rehabilitation training and routine rehabilitation nursing on children with mental retarda- tion by moxibustion with aconite. Methods A total of 120 children with mental retardation diagnosed in the outpatient department or in the hospital from February to December, 2022 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given comprehensive rehabilitation training and routine rehabilitation nursing, while the observation group was given tradition- al Chinese medicine nursing on Baihui point with aconite moxibustion on the basis of the control group. To observe the changes of development quotient(DQ) of each energy area of Gesell Intelligence Development Diagnostic Scale(GDS) and the scores of children's comprehensive function evaluation scale before and after treatment, as well as the clinical efficacy. Results After treatment, the DQ of each energy area of GDS was improved in both groups. The scores of adaptive behavior, large exercise, fine movements, language and personal- social behavior in the observation group were(67.92±11.69),(61.88±13.20),(63.50±13.20),(57.35± 11.91),(57.87±11.89) points respectively. All the scores were higher than those of the control group (46.70±18.15),(49.85±17.78),(48.25±16.69),(37.78±13.46),(42.35±14.20) points, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of all items in the children's comprehensive function evaluation table had been improved. The scores of cognitive function, speech function, sports ability, self-care action and social adaptation in the observation group were (10.98±3.61), (12.12±4.08),(18.81±5.42), (11.83±6.03),(8,87±3.14) points respectively. All the scores were higher than those of the control group (5.29±1.65),(6,58±3.20),(15.30±5.42), (5.11±4.09), (6.11±1.79) points, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of GDS in the observation group [91.7%(55/60)] was higher than that in the control group [76.7%(46/60)],and the total effective rate of children's comprehensive function evaluation [93.3%(56/60)] was also better than that in the control group [80.0%(48/60)], with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion of Baihui point with aconite root combined with comprehensive rehabilitation training and routine rehabilitation nursing is effective in treating mental retardation. Objective To investigate the effect of Muladhara moxibustion on perineal injury during childbrith and physical rehabilitation of parturients. Methods According to the random number table method, 74 women with postpartum perineal injury were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 37 participants in each group. The control group received the routine care plan, while the observation group added the Muladhara moxibustion treatment on the basis of the routine care plan for 3 days. The wound pain, swelling, perineal wound healing and Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the wound pain score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P＜0. 05). The degree of swelling decreased more significantly in the observation group than that in the control group (P＜0. 05), and there was no significant difference in wound healing between two groups. After treatment, the scores of Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms, such as fatigue, spontaneous sweating, lumbago, complexion and other clinical symptoms in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P＜0. 05). Conclusion Muladhara moxibustion treatment can effectively reduce pain, swelling and other accompanying symptoms, to a certain extent improve the postpartum Qi and blood weakness, with high treatment safety and effectiveness. This article summarizes the treatment and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing experience of a patient with Guillain-Barre syndrome complicated with dissociative disorder. Through syndrome differentiation and nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine characteristic nursing methods such as bamboo cupping therapy, moxibustion and five-tone music therapy were given according to the syndrome types and clinical symptoms, combined with psychotherapy and routine nursing interventions. The combined treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques are effective to improve the muscle strength and relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome complicated with dissociative disorder. Objective To observe the effect of abdominal massage combined with moxibustion in the treatment of Qi-deficiency type chronic functional constipation in elderly people. Methods Totally 100 elderly patients with chronic functional constipation of Qi-deficiency type were randomly divvied into the control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment and abdominal massage, and the observation group received abdominal massage combined with moxibustion. The defecation condtion, Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score and clinical curative effect were compared between two groups. Results The Patient Assessment of Constipation Symptoms(PAC-SYM) score was decreased in both two groups after intervention (P＜0. 05), and PAC-SYM score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0. 05). The Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score was decreased in both two groups after intervention (P＜0. 05), and Tradition Chinese Medicine syndrome score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0. 05). The total effective rate was 94. 00%(47/50) in the observaiton group, which was higher than 76. 00%(38/50) in the control group (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The abdominal massage combined with moxibustion is effective to relieve the clinical symptoms of Qi-deficiency type chronic functional constipation in elderly people. (目的 观察腹部推拿联合艾灸治疗气虚型老年慢性功能性便秘的效果。方法 选取2022年4月—2023年12月在医院住院治疗的气虚型老年慢性功能性便秘患者100例为研究对象, 采用随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组, 各50例。对照组给予常规治疗和腹部推拿, 观察组在对照组基础上联合艾灸治疗。治疗7 d后比较两组患者排便情况、中医证候积分及临床疗效。结果 治疗后两组便秘患者症状自评量表(PAC-SYM)评分均较治疗前降低(P＜0. 05), 且观察组治疗后评分低于对照组(P＜0. 05)。治疗后两组排便无力、腹中隐痛、食欲不振、乏力懒言等中医证候积分均较治疗前降低(P＜0. 05), 且观察组治疗后评分低于对照组(P＜0. 05)。观察组总有效率为94. 00%(47/50), 高于对照组的76. 00%(38/50), 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 腹部推拿联合艾灸治疗可有效缓解气虚型老年慢性功能性便秘患者的临床症状。)

This article summarized the treatment effect of auricular acuopint massage combined with moxibustion and nursing practice of tinnitus in a patient with chronic glomerulonephritis. Based on a comprehensive nursing assessment, the auricular acuopint massage combined with moxibustion was carried out to relieve the clinical symptoms of tinnitus. In addition, interventions such as psychological care and diet guidance could contribute to the relief of negative emotions and improvement of quality of life during treatment. Objective: To analyze the effect of Nuangqi Sanshenque patch combined with moxibustion on children with splenic deficiency diarrhea and its influence on intestinal microecology. Methods: 120 children with spleen deficiency diarrhea admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with bifidum triple viable bacteria capsule and montmorillonite powder; On the basis of the control group, the observation group was treated with warm umbilical Sanshenque patch combined with moxibustion. The moxibustion points were Shenque, Zhongwan, Zusanli, Tianshu, Pishu and Shenshu for 14 days. Symptom relief (normal time of stool traits and stop time of diarrhea) of the children in the two groups were recorded, and intestinal barrier function indexes (diamine oxidase, D-lactic acid), intestinal flora number (bifidobacterium, lactobacillus, fecal coccus, Escoli), serum inflammatory factors (interleukin-6, interleukin-8, tumor necrosis factor a) before and after treatment were detected. Results: Compared the control group, the observation group shit character normal time and diarrhea stop time are shorter (P<0.05). After treatment, the observation group of serum diamine oxidase, D-lactic acid levels are lower than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, compared to control group and observation group serum interleukin 6 and interleukin 8, tumor necrosis factor alpha levels are lower (P<0.05). After treatment, compared to control group and observation group more the number of bifidobacterium, lactobacillus, less number of dung aureus, escherichia coli (P<0.05). Observation group total effective rate is 93.33%, compared to 83.33% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Nuanqi Sanshenque patch combined with moxibustion is effective in the treatment of children with splenic deficiency diarrhea, which is helpful to shorten the course of disease, improve intestinal barrier function and intestinal microecology. BACKGROUND: The repair process of skin trauma is complex and susceptible to infection, easy to lead to poor healing, is the current difficulty and hot spot in wound repair research, and has received extensive attention in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine and tissue engineering. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of moxibustion and reduced graphene oxide/cerium oxide nanocomposite on promoting the healing of infectious wounds. METHODS: (1) Reduced graphene oxide/cerium dioxide nanocomposites with mass ratios of 2:1, 1:1 and 1:2 were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The resulting composites were recorded as G2C1, G1C1and G1C2, respectively. The photothermal properties, cytotoxicity and antibacterial properties of the three kinds of materials were tested. After taking moxa sticks, three kinds of moxibustion distances were set (3.0-3.5 cm, recorded as moxibustion 1; 2.5-3.0 cm, recorded as moxibustion 2; 2.0-2.5 cm, recorded as moxibustion 3). Moxibustion was applied to the surface of human skin for 10 minutes to detect the photothermal properties. The antibacterial properties of moxibustion were tested at three different distance intervals. Simultaneously, the back body surface infrared imaging of rats with different mass concentrations of G1C1material, moxibustion (three kinds of moxibustion distances) and moxibustion 2+G1C1material was detected. (2) Sixty male Sprague-Dawley rats were selected to model the wound of Staphylococcus aureus infection. 48 hours later, they were randomly divided into 10 groups with 6 rats in each group: control group (did not receive any treatment), mupirocin group, moxibustion 2+G1C1group, moxibustion 1 group, moxibustion 2 group, moxibustion 3 group and 60, 80, 100, and 120 μg/mL G1C1groups (The G1C1group was given 808 nm near-infrared laser irradiation for 10 min/time, and the G1C1suspension was loaded on the wound surface before each treatment. Each group of moxibustion underwent insitu suspension moxibustion, and the intervention time was 10 min/time. Moxibustion 2+G1C1group was loaded with G1C1suspension on the wound surface before each treatment, and moxibustion was suspended in situ with moxa strips, and the intervention time was 10 min/time). The frequency of treatment was 2 days once. Wound healing, wound colony count and repair were detected after 7 days of intervention. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) The three kinds of reduced graphene oxide/cerium dioxide nanocomposites had good photothermal properties, and the higher the mass concentration of the composites, the better the photothermal properties. The temperature of the moxibustion 2 group reached 47.6 °C for 10 minutes without causing thermal damage, which was more suitable for animal experiments. The results of co-culture with NIH-3T3 cells exhibited that 60, 80, and 100 μg/mL G1C1had good biocompatibility. The results of a co-culture experiment with Staphylococcus aureus suspension displayed that G2C1, G1C1and G1C2 had good antibacterial activity, among which G1C1group demonstrated excellent antibacterial performance, and the antibacterial rate reached 100% when its mass concentration was 80 μg/mL. 60-120 μg/mL G1C1could effectively remove Staphylococcus aureus biofilm, and the higher the material mass concentration, the better the removal effect. Moxibustion could also effectively remove Staphylococcus aureus biofilm, and the closer the moxibustion was, the better the removal effect. (2) Compared with the control group, the wound area of the mupirocin group, moxibustion 2 group, moxibustion 2+G1C1group and 80, 100 μg/mL G1C1groups was significantly reduced on day 7 of treatment, and the quality of wound repair was better. Mupirocin, G1C1, moxibustion and moxibustion 2+G1C1could effectively remove the residual bacteria on the wound surface, and the higher the mass concentration of G1C1, the lower the residual bacteria. Among them, the wound repair efficiency and bacterial residue of 80 μg/mL G1C1group and moxibustion 2 group were very similar, and the wound repair efficiency of both was better than that of mupirocin group. In addition, it was also observed that the combination of materials and moxibustion had a better ability to clear wound bacteria than that used alone. The main pathophysiology is a condition that slows down the emptying of the stomach. This paper summarized the practice of psycho-cardiology nursing for 1 patient with hypertension of deficiency of kidney Yang type. Key issues of nursing included illness condition observation, blood pressure monitoring, medication nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine characteristic nursing, psychological evaluation and psycho-cardiology education. This paper summarized the Nursing of a patient with post-stroke constipation of Qi-deficiency type treated by Baliao acupoints moxibustion and acupuncture combined with oral administration of Yiqi Runchang decoction. A comprehensive assessment of nursing risk was carried out before treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine external treatment such as moxibustion and acupuncture at Baliao acupoints were performed to improve the recovery of intestinal function. The patient received oral administration of Yiqi Runchang decoction to regulate the body constitution. In addition, a prescription of drinking habits was administrated to promote defecation, and other interventions such as dietary guidance, exercise and emotion care were carried out to relieve the symptoms of Qi-deficiency syndromes. Adverse drug reactions have a direct impact on the treatment effect and quality of life of patients with malignant tumors. Research has found that moxibustion can effectively relieve the chemotherapy-induced adverse drug reactions. This article summarized the interventional mechanism of moxibustion and its clinical application for relieving chemotherapy-induced adverse drug reactions, in order to guide the clinical practice and improve the quality of life of cancer patients with chemotherapy. Urinary incontinence is a loss of bladder control that’s commonly seen in older adults. It is a common geriatric syndrome which has a serious impact on physical and mental health, quality of life of elderly population. This paper reviewed the clinical studies on moxibustion treatment from the perspective of its concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine, mechanisms and therapeutic methods, highlighted the importance of moxibustion in the treatment of urinary incontinence in the elderly, and provide reference and inspiration for future research on the treatment of urinary incontinence. Objective: Based on Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88)/nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway to explore efficacy and mechanism of anchang decoction combined with moxibustion in the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome. Methods: According to random number table method, 108 patients with diarrhea type IBS who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2019 to December 2022 were divided into control group (treated with conventional drugs combined with moxibustion, n=54) and study group (treated with Anchang Tang on the basis of the control group, n=54). The efficacy, chinese medicine syndrome total scores, IBS symptom severity questionnaire(IBS-SSS) score, intestinal barrier function index, TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway related messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) expression level were compared between two groups. Results: The total clinical effective rate in study group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Chinese medicine syndrome total scores and IBS-SSS scores in two groups decreased after treatment, and study group was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). The intestinal fatty acid binding protein (IFABP), D-lactate and diamine oxidase (DAO) decreased in two groups after treatment, and study group was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). TLR4, MyD88 and NF-κB mRNA decreased expression in two groups after treatment, and study group was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Anchang decoction combine with moxibustion can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and intestinal barrier function of diarrhea-predominant IBS patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome, and the curative effect is good, which may be relate to the regulation of TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway. To explore effect of scraping and moxibustion therapy for a breast cancer patient with COVID-19 in convalescence. On the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, the Du meridian (Dazhui) and the bladder meridian (Feishu, Pishu) of the patient were treated with scraping and moxibustion once a day. The comprehensive nursing interventions including daily care, nutrition guidance, symptomatic care and emotion care were carried out during the treatment. Scraping and moxibustion therapy can effectively alleviate cough, fatigue and other symptoms of COVID-19 in convalescence. To summarized the nursing of a lung cancer patient with COVID-19 treated with green nursing technology for tumors. This paper investigated the effect of moxibustion combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine ointment massage for a patient with grade II myelosuppression after chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer, and summarized related nursing measures. To summarize the nursing of a liver cancer patient with chemotherapy-induced oral ulcer, and provide reference for clinical practice. Traditional Chinese Medicine mouthwash (30 min per time, four times a day) was administrated for relieving external heat, moistening dryness, and promoting fluid production. After using ginger slice to embrocate local skin, the moxa stick moxibustion at Zusanli and Yongquan acupoints was carried out once a day for 30 minutes each time. The patient's oral ulcer pain decreased and the ulcer surface shrank after treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine mouthwash therapy combined with moxa stick moxibustion after embrocation using ginger is effective to relieve chemotherapy-induced oral ulcers and improve patient quality of life. With changes in lifestyle, the incidence of cervical spondylosis is developing at an increasing rate year by year, with the highest incidence being neurogenic cervical spondylosis, which has a great impact on patients' physical, psychological and quality of life. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing techniques have unique advantages over basic nursing operations, such as fewer side effects and higher comfort, and are therefore widely used in the treatment of neurogenic cervical spondylosis, which is the focus of current research and a hot spot. This article reviews the basic concept of neurogenic cervical spondylosis and the clinical practice and research progress of TCM nursing for it. It outlines the current clinical TCM nursing practices applicable to neurogenic cervical spondylosis, their application methods, scope of application and limitations, and aims to provide reference for the formulation and implementation of effective TCM nursing care for patients with neurogenic cervical spondylosis. This paper summarized the nursing management of constipation in a stroke patient. Based on the brain-gut axis theory, the moxibustion combined with auricular acupoint pressing therapy and individualized nursing interventions were carried out to relieve the abdominal distension and anxiety of the patient. This paper investigated the effect of scraping and moxibustion therapy in the treatment of chest pain caused by liver depression and Qi stagnation in a patient with cervical cancer, and summarized related nursing measures. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, the scraping theray on Zushaoyang Danjin acupoint was carried out to regulating the liver Qi and removing blood stasis. The moxibustion therapy on Taichong acupoint was applied for soothing liver and invigorating spleen. To investigate the effect of scraping therapy combined with moxibustion and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) retention enema in the treatment of lower abdominal pain in a female patient with pelvic inflammatory disease, and summarized related nursing measures. The scraping therapy combined with moxibustion on Ren channel (Qihai, Guanyuan and Zhongji acupoint) and Du Channel (Yaoyangguan, Minmen, Yaoshu acupoint) was applied once every other day; The TCM retention enema was carried out once a day. The lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain was relieved, and patient’s activity of daily living was improved after treatment. The combination therapy of scraping, moxibustion and TCM retention enema is effective to relieve the pain caused by pelvic inflammatory disease and improve patient’s quality of life. Objective To explore the effect of different operating sequences of acupoint application and moxibustion on relieving the pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods Sixty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into group A (n=30) and group B (n=30). The sequence of operations in Group A was as follows: first applying acupoints, and then conducting moxibustion at the same site for 30 minutes. In Group B, the sequence of operations was as follows: first applying moxibustion for 30 minutes, and then applying acupoints at the moxibustion site. The course of treatment was 2 weeks. Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupoint application therapy combined with moxibustion on postoperative constipation in patients with thoracolumbar compression fracture. Methods Totally 100 patients with constipation after surgery for thoracolumbar compression fracture were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (n=50) was given routine guidance and nursing measures, and the experimental group (n=50) was given Traditional Chinese Medicine acupoint application combined with moxibustion treatment based on routine care. The clinical efficacy and anxiety status by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) of the two groups were compared. Results The overall effective rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (90. 00% vs. 82. 00%, P＜0. 05 ). The SAS score decreased in both two groups after intervention, and SAS score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0. 05 ). Conclusion Acupoint application combined with moxibustion is effective to relieve the postoperative abdominal distension, constipation and other symptoms after surgical treatment for thoracolumbar compression fracture. It is safe, effective, convenient and worthy of clinical application. This paper summarized the nursing management of a patient with gastric cancer of Qi and blood deficiency type. On the basis of strengthening routine nursing, the patient was intervened by implementing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) holographic scraping combined with moxibustion to evaluate their digestive tract symptoms, sleep quality and fatigue status. After the intervention, the scores of pain visual analogue scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scale, Subjective Overall Nutrition Assessment of tumor patients, Piper Fatigue Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale decreased significantly. It showed that the combination of TCM holographic scraping combined with moxibustion can effectively alleviate the symptoms and improve the quality of life of the patient. This paper summarized the research status of moxibustion therapy in treatment of chemotherapy-related adverse reactions such as digestive tract reaction, peripheral neuropathy and bone marrow suppression, and provided reference for improvement of efficacy, safety and normalization of moxibustion therapy in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This paper summarized the treatment outcome of moxibustion combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ointment and nursing management of a patient with low back pain caused by lumbar disc herniation. Based on the comprehensive nursing evaluation, moxibustion and TCM ointment technology were carried out to alleviate the symptoms of low back pain and swelling pain in lower limbs. This article summarized integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing management for a lung cancer patient with pain after chemotherapy. Routing nursing interventions included routine nursing risk assessment, scientific analgesic strategy and health education. Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques such as Chinese herbal medicine external application, moxibustion, acupoint application and emotion care were carried out to relieve the cancer-related pain after chemotherapy and improve the patient’s quality of life.
