近年,迅速な試作産業の分野で機械加工における加工条件の決定を行うための新しい手法の開発が求められてきている.そこで,赤外線サーモグラフィの画像によるエンドミル加工現象の評価手法の開発に取り組んだ.本報では,赤外線サーモグラフィよりそれらの現象をモニターする技術を構築し,エンドミル工具の温度の加工条件の関係を考察した.その結果,構築した手法は単位時間当たりの材料の除去能率(MRR)がエンドミル加工時の工具温度に与える影響を評価できており,製造の現場に有効な手法であることがわかった., Nowadays, manufacturing companies have been demanded to develop new technologies to determine the machining conditions in agile and trial manufacturing fields. We therefore attempt to develop an estimating method for end-mill processes by an infrared imagery. In the present paper, we establish to monitor these processes with an infrared thermography and investigate the relationship between tool temperature and milling condition. As a result, this method is found to be effective to estimate an influence of material removal rate (MRR) on the tool temperature in the end-mill process.

筆者らは磁性体磁区画像から磁性体の最も重要な特性である磁化特性を巨視的にも微視的にも抽出可能であることを報告してきた。結果として、動画像から被撮影対象物の物性を抽出する新しい学術分野開拓の可能性が示唆された。本研究では同様のアプローチを用いてあらゆる物理系の可視化情報から被撮影対象物の物性が抽出可能かを調査する。本論文ではその一例として熱源より拡散する輻射熱エネルギーを赤外線カメラによって撮影し、熱拡散分布に対応する赤外線動画像から媒質中の熱伝導率分布を推定する。赤外線動画像の時間領域および空間領域情報の特性を双曲線関数の指数値として抽出する一方法である等価固有値(ECV)法によって熱伝達系の線形性の評価を行う。, Previously, we have proposed a new methodology, which makes it possible to extract the physical properties from the visualized magnetic domains in ferromagnetic materials. This new approach to the sequential magnetic images is based on the modal analysis solution vector of initial value problems.In this paper, we apply this approach to the thermal infrared dynamic image in order to extract the physical parameters as well as regularity that dominate the dynamics of thermal distribution.As a result, it was difficult to extract the physical parameters as well as regularity dominating the dynamics of thermal distribution, because of complex heating and cooling conditions. However, it has been found that only few images are required to recover the precise infrared images by means of the equivalent characteristic values. Furthermore, applying the modal wavelets analysis to the infrared images well visualizes the heating situations.

Infrared-image technique has been prevailingly applied to diagnose laminar-turbulent transition in compressible boundary layers. The purpose of the present paper is to establish this technique for low subsonic flow. To produce measurable temperate difference between laminar and turbulent states above ambient temperature, the model was pre-heated by a hair-drier prior to each measurements. Infrared image captured in two-dimensional boundary layer was quantitatively reduced to evaluate transition location.
