This study focuses on rural tourism as one way to combine the needs ofurban and rural residents, and to help urban and rural residents reaffirmand deepen their understanding of each other’s local attractions.Since 2016, the central and local governments have introduced a numberof support policies for rural tourism, and large amounts of capital haveflowed into rural areas; the February 2017 Central No.1 letter, as well asthe May 2017 notification from China’s Ministry of Finance, have promotedinitiatives for urban-rural exchange mediated by the “Rural CompositeBody”.This paper, therefore, takes up the case of the Meilinongyeyuan RuralComposite in Nanning, Guangxi, to examine the social and economicfunctions of rural tourism, which have not been fully clarified until now.Specifically, based on the results of a survey on the current status andissues of rural tourism in Nanning, we hope to clarify the social andeconomic roles of rural and urban tourism, forms of exchange, and spillovereffects on the region, as well as to assist in research on the development ofrural tourism currently being undertaken in many regions of China.

In China, rural tourism plays an important role as an industry for ruraldevelopment. However, the overall rural tourism market is becomingincreasingly competitive due to the increase in the number of regionsentering the market, and building long-term relationships with tourists whorepeatedly visit tourist destinations is an important issue.In light of these circumstances, this paper aims to understand touristsʼperceptions of rural tourism using the results of a questionnaire targetingtourists, and then, through the IPA analysis method, analyze the differencebetween the level of importance before the act of tourism consumptiontakes place and the level of satisfaction after consumption, in order tounderstand the factors considered important and the level of satisfactionwith them from an overall perspective. The purpose of this study is tounderstand the importance of tourism from a comprehensive perspective.Through this analysis, suggestions regarding the improvement of theattractiveness of tourist attractions, the maintenance and expansion of thenumber of tourists, and the attraction of new customers will be clarified.

In recent years, rural tourism has been emphasized as a part of ruraldevelopment in China.However, it is true that rural tourism in China has achieved rapiddevelopment and is making a great contribution to the development ofChina’s rural economy, but the economic rights of local farmers are oftenthreatened, and the rapid increase in the number of tourists has causeddeepening local environmental pollution. In particular, many farmers havelost their right to use their farmland due to development, resulting in arapid increase in the number of farmers suffering from low income. As aresult, the incomes and livelihoods of local farmers remain as low as ever,and the challenges of securing profits for the farmers themselves anddistributing the profits from tourism have deepened.This paper examines, based on a field survey, the issues of farmers’occupation, guaranteeing the rights of farmers who lost their farmland dueto development, and profit sharing of tourism revenue in Yulin City,Guangxi, China, which has been rapidly transformed into a touristdestination in recent years.In conclusion, it is argued that the will of the local farmers and theguarantee of their economic interests are important in rural tourism inChina.

日本と中国（以下、日中と略す）両国はともに農業国だったこともあり、いずれも農村観光の歴史は浅いと言ってもよい。しかし、現在の日中両国について言えば、日本はすでに農業国から脱出し、先進工業国としての地位を確立している。実際、人口1 億2,667 万人のうち、およそ1 億の人々は伝統的な農耕生活から離れ、都会生活を送っている1。一方、中国は農業大国から脱皮の過程にあり、人口13 億の半数以上が都市生活者となっている。このような中国の近年における観光事業は、海外旅行と並んで、観光産業を牽引しているのは都市近郊の農村観光だといわれている。本研究は農村観光に関する基礎理論を整理し、その理論体系を考察した上で、現代観光において、農村の生活空間を観光資源とし、観光対象化された農村観光の商品分類、農村観光の市場構成、日中農村観光事業の運営手法について、検討を加えたものである。, Japan and China were agricultural countries in history, and the development of their rural tourism is still in the primary phase. However, both Japan and China have been changed currently. For Japan, an advanced industrialized country has been formed, and, in the total population of 120 million, about 100 million persons had given up the traditional farming life and lived a city life. For China, it is currentlyin the process of molting from an agricultural country, more than half of the population of 1.3 billion has become city dwellers. It is said that the village sightseeing in the city suburbs is playing an important role in the tourism industry along with foreign tourism in China.Along with the national economic development, as a result of industrialization and urbanization, the rural tourism has become a part of the modern tourism and a highlight of the tourism business.In this paper, based on organizing and examining the existed rural tourism theories and studies, it was probed for the commodity classification and market structure of the rural tourism industry and the techniques of the tourism market operation management of Japan and China.

現代のイタリアにおける農村観光には、ガストロノミーの概念が深く関わっている。観光者の明確な旅の目的が、食の味覚に関わるガストロノミック体験にあるからだ。食の味覚とは紛れもない生産地の美味であり、味覚の基準は法規で明瞭化されている。すなわち、農村観光とは、味覚の固有性と真正性を基盤に構築された新しいツーリズムのパラダイムであると考えられる。こうしたパラダイムとガストロノミーの概念との関係性は、実は二千数百年以上も前に明示されていたと考えられる。古代ギリシャ時代に提起されたガストロノミーの要素を探るために、紀元前4世紀半ば頃に記されたアルゲストラートの詩編を分析し検討した。そのことにより、提要されたガストロノミーの要素が、現代のイタリアにおける農村観光の発展に関わる要須な概念の起源であることを探求した。

景気低迷の中，いまだに成長を続ける海外旅行であるが，国内観光に目を向けると，ここ最近変化がみられる．法人需要の冷え込みが深刻となっている中，個人需要は減らず，ますます多様な観光を求める個人に対して観光地はその対応を迫られている．レジャーの楽しみ方を知っている世代になった高齢者の旅行，学生から「ダサい」とまでいわれるようになったスキー旅行，格安運賃が登場することによって変化した観光地間競争などが生じ，これまでの観光地のあり方では生き残れず，時代の要求に対して変化を求められている．好景気の時代に建設されたテーマパークが次々と閉園していく中，依然大人気のテーマパークも存在する．これらの違いから，これまで多くの人たちが抱いていた観光に対する安易な考え方を改める必要性に気づかされる．21世紀における観光は，長期休暇制度が広まった社会に対応できるように，多様化した個人の指向に合わせた新しい視点で考えなければならない．自然環境や社会的弱者を重視する視点も重要である．このような新しい視点から取り組んでいくには，観光に対する住民の意識向上と，これからの観光を担っていくエキスパートの育成が大切である．

わが国では政府が「グリーン・ツーリズム」という用語を使用した1992年以降、農村観光が注目されてきた。農山村各地では「グリーン・ツーリズム」として、農業体験や農家民宿などの農村観光に取り組んできた。しかし、今日盛んに議論されている農村観光は、「グリーン・ツーリズム」登場以降のものに偏って議論、検討されている感が強い。本稿では、「グリーン・ツーリズム」が登場した1992年以前について、日本の農山村における農村観光の展開過程を振り返った。そのなかで、農村観光を構成する要素である「農家」「農地」「農村景観」の3つの視点に着目し、それぞれが観光とどのように関わってきたかについて明らかにした。, Since 1992, the Japanese government has been promoting rural tourism under the slogan 'Green Tourism.' This has included visiting mountainous agricultural areas and living and working on farms. However, recent debate strongly suggests that 'Green Tourism' has not had such a great impact or led to any major change in the nature of rural tourism. This study examines the changes that have occurred in rural tourism, the period before 1992 and 'Green Tourism.' This paper focused on the three points of farm house, agricultural land, rural scene, that organize constituents of rural tourism, and cleared the relation three factors and tourism.

2016年度
