Ants are an important arthropod group due to their involvement in ecological processes amongst others as ecosystem engineers or predators, but some invasive alien species are also implicated in detrimental environmental, economic and human health effects. Despite recent advancements, the ant biodiversity of Cyprus is still in need of further research with previous online species inventories synthesising a checklist of just 65 native and 10 alien species. The “Ants of Cyprus” website (https://sites.google.com/view/ants-of-cyprus) aims to: (1) raise public awareness and increase local knowledge on the biodiversity and ecological significance of ants, (2) provide ecological data and (3) enhance conservation efforts and management practices for native and alien ant species, respectively. This dynamic, user-friendly website has been designed for use by the scientific community, conservation officers and the wider public and it will be regularly updated as new information and data are generated. Additionally, this information will be critical for reporting on progress towards biodiversity targets and goals.

Ants are integral components of terrestrial ecosystems, and their diversity is crucial for the functioning and maintenance of many ecosystems. The aim of this study was identifying specimens collected from different habitats and localities in Esfahan and Chaharmahal Va Bakhtiari Provinces. Direct sampling (hand collecting) was used for collecting materials, and all specimens were preserved in 75% ethanol. As a result, a list of 42 identified species belonging to 13 genera of three subfamilies, collected from 66 sampling sites in Chaharmahal Va Bakhtiari and Esfahan Provinces, is given. Two species are recorded for the first time from Iran, namely Camponotus jaliensis Dalla Torre, 1893 and Tetramorium staerckei Kratochvíl, 1944. Also, fifteen and six species are recorded for the first time from Esfahan and Chaharmahal Va Bakhtiari Provinces, respectively. Result showed that the Iranian ant fauna is rich and in need of more faunistic studies.

BACKGROUND: Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAb) is 1 of the most problematic antimicrobial-resistant bacteria. We sought to elucidate the international epidemiology and clinical impact of CRAb. METHODS: In a prospective observational cohort study, 842 hospitalized patients with a clinical CRAb culture were enrolled at 46 hospitals in five global regions between 2017 and 2019. The primary outcome was all-cause mortality at 30 days from the index culture. The strains underwent whole-genome analysis. RESULTS: Of 842 cases, 536 (64%) represented infection. By 30 days, 128 (24%) of the infected patients died, ranging from 1 (6%) of 18 in Australia-Singapore to 54 (25%) of 216 in the United States and 24 (49%) of 49 in South-Central America, whereas 42 (14%) of non-infected patients died. Bacteremia was associated with a higher risk of death compared with other types of infection (40 [42%] of 96 vs 88 [20%] of 440). In a multivariable logistic regression analysis, bloodstream infection and higher age-adjusted Charlson comorbidity index were independently associated with 30-day mortality. Clonal group 2 (CG2) strains predominated except in South-Central America, ranging from 216 (59%) of 369 in the United States to 282 (97%) of 291 in China. Acquired carbapenemase genes were carried by 769 (91%) of the 842 isolates. CG2 strains were significantly associated with higher levels of meropenem resistance, yet non-CG2 cases were over-represented among the deaths compared with CG2 cases. CONCLUSIONS: CRAb infection types and clinical outcomes differed significantly across regions. Although CG2 strains remained predominant, non-CG2 strains were associated with higher mortality. The article examines the development of civic competence of history and civic education teachers in the system of in-service training as a necessary condition for the development of civil society in Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to analyze the system of in-service training of history and civic education teachers in postgraduate education and their perception of their professional development process, as well as to reveal the main aspects of motivation to improve their skills and develop the civic competence of history and civic education teachers. It is shown that anthropologism as a scientific concept that considers the individual as a subject of educational activity and social relations, recognizes a person as a complex system that develops itself according to internal and external laws, is of methodological importance for in-service training in the system of postgraduate education. In the course of the study, the methods of observation, oral communication and analysis were used. The problems and difficulties of cross-cutting civic education in the educational process and the subject area of each of the subjects taught in general secondary education institutions are shown. The study has shown that the vast majority of history and civic education teachers are eager to acquire new knowledge, are well aware that professional development can contribute to profound changes in teaching if it is based on classroom practice, is continuous and is carried out in collaboration with other teachers. The vast majority of teachers understand that when they learn and develop their own competencies, they transform their knowledge into practice for the benefit of their students’ development.

Resumo O artigo analisa as desigualdades de acesso ao ensino superior no Brasil, por classe de origem, entre 1992 e 2022. Para tanto, são utilizados dados tanto da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílio (PNAD) antiga quanto da PNAD contínua, coletados pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). A análise é feita por meio de modelos logit, tendo como principal variável dependente o acesso ao ensino superior, e como variável independente de interesse a origem social de jovens entre 18 e 24 anos de idade. Os principais resultados trazem evidências robustas de que nos últimos anos, desde aproximadamente 2015, houve retração da tendência de democratização do acesso ao ensino superior. Fatores como redução do ritmo de expansão, enfraquecimento das políticas de democratização do acesso e aumento das desigualdades no período recente são mobilizados como possíveis explicações para os resultados observados.

ABSTRACT This article shows the most recent data on the evolution of the number of resident physicians and vacancies from R1 to R5, as well as the number of programs and institutions accredited by the National Commission for Medical Residency (CNRM). It also discusses the types and modalities of evaluation of medical residency, with a focus on the assessment of competencies throughout in-service training, which were incorporated into the most recent CNRM resolution, at the end of 2023, which amended and updated the 2006 directives. Finally, it shows the experience of six Medical Societies that conduct periodic evaluation of resident physicians, presented at a Brazilian Medical Association event.

We report a case of Influenza type B (lineage Yamagata) infection in a child who received the live attenuated influenza virus vaccine before being diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The patient developed a mild disease that persisted for 18 days and resolved without antiviral treatment. The prolonged infection of an attenuated virus in an immunocompromised host might pose a risk of reversion or evolution to a more pathogenic strain. Prompt prevention, identification, and monitoring of similar cases are desirable to avoid the development of severe illness, which could complicate patient management.

Introduction Training medical students requires objectives that are often translated into frameworks of competencies. Since the introduction of entrustable professional activities (EPAs), these tasks or ‘units of professional practice’, originally conceived for postgraduate training, define what residents must be prepared to do unsupervised. Nowadays, EPAs are also applied to undergraduate training, with the prospect of entering residency. However, in many countries, especially in the Global South, a substantial number of medical graduates will be working in healthcare with little or no supervision and no further training soon or ever. EPAs for these conditions cannot be copied from undergraduate medical education EPA frameworks in Global North countries.Methods We conducted a generative investigation to identify and elaborate EPAs for Global South countries who must train students for unsupervised general practice. We included 39 medical educators from 13 Global South countries and 17 specialties in either one of two online focus group sessions using a nominal group technique (NGT) or as Delphi panel member. Results from the two NGT sessions were merged and fed into the two-round Delphi investigation.Results A framework of 11 EPAs resulted, each with an elaborate description (specification, setting and limitations).Conclusion This framework of undergraduate medical education Global South EPAs differs in its nature and specifications from existing Global North EPAs. The authors do not pretend universality for all Global South countries with graduates who face expectations of unsupervised practice but present it to support countries that consider introducing the model of entrustable professional activities.

Fermented foods and beverages have nutritional and medicinal properties. Usually, the expansion of the range of fermented sour milk products is carried out in two directions: the first is the use in technology of new active leavening microorganisms, resistant to the factors of the gastric environment with a corrective effect on the intestinal microbiota; the second is the introduction of additives mainly of fruit and vegetable origin into the composition of the ready-made fermented milk product. Celery is a vegetable that can also be used to enrich a fermented milk product with necessary nutrients. After all, celery extracts have many nutraceutical properties, namely antioxidant, hypolipidemic, hypoglycemic, and antiaggregation properties. The work aimed to substantiate the need to introduce puree of celery leaves, stalks, and roots into yogurt and to develop a fermented product. During the research, generally accepted organoleptic, physicochemical, and microbiological methods were used. The scientific expediency of enriching a fermented milk product – yogurt with celery puree – has been substantiated. The addition of more than 20 % celery puree has a positive effect on the phenomenon of syneresis of the finished product since the amount of whey separated during filtration was 3–4 times less than in control. According to organoleptic indicators, the best samples were yogurts with a celery content of 25 to 30 %; besides, yogurt with celery (30 %) had a significant reserve of microbiological stability during storage at temperatures of +3 –+5 °С. In particular, this fermented milk product can be stored for 14 days without deterioration of quality and safety indicators. Therefore, it is proposed that puree from celery stalks, leaves, and roots be added to the yogurt production technology in the amount of 25–30 %. This will enrich this fermented milk product with biologically valuable dietary fibers.

Urban afforestation is increasingly regarded as a key strategy for fostering biodiversity to restore and enhance the ecosystem services needed to counteract the effects of climate change in built-up areas. In Italy, several experimental afforestation projects have been launched as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), focusing on cities or metropolitan areas such as Milan, Rome, Pistoia and Campobasso. These projects follow a multidisciplinary approach, integrating botanists, foresters, urban planners, landscape architects and remote sensing specialists. The goal is to address the challenging complexity of urban forest restoration through reforestation and afforestation actions. Key innovations include the integration of transdisciplinary methodologies (landscape analysis, landscape design, forest and plant ecology) with the application of advanced remote sensing technologies and participatory community engagement frameworks to address ecological and social challenges. Experimental plots have been set up across various urban areas, testing a range of planting schemes to maximise climate change resilience and ensure long-term ecological sustainability. Emphasis has been placed on selecting drought-tolerant and thermophilic species that are better adapted to widespread warming and local urban heat islands. ‘Biodiversity strips’ with perennial flowers for insects, shrubs with berries for birds and nests for wild bees and vertebrates have been set up to enhance biodiversity in new afforestation areas. Advanced monitoring tools, such as Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and multi-sensor drones, have been employed alongside field observations to assess forest growth, species survival, structural complexity and biodiversity enhancement over time. Historical analyses of landscape patterns and ecological connectivity over the past 200 years, along with evaluations of afforestation projects from the last 70 years, have provided critical insights into the successes and challenges of previous interventions, serving as a guide for future efforts. By focusing on ecological connectivity, the integration of afforested areas into the urban matrix, and citizen engagement, the current project aims to align urban forestry efforts with sustainable development goals. This comprehensive project framework addresses environmental restoration and the social and aesthetic impacts on local communities, contributing to the overall resilience and well-being of urban and peri-urban ecosystems.

In this study, we analyzed the phytosociological data from four sample sites located in the Pannonian region. The study areas, ranging from 2.4 to 2.5 hectares, have been subjected to goat grazing and mowing for 24 years. N1: Nagyréde, an overgrazed pasture with 24 goats; N2: Nagyréde, a mown field; C1: Csokvaomány, a lightly grazed pasture with 12 goats; and meadow C2: Csokvaomány, a site that is both mown and grazed. Six phytosociological surveys were conducted randomly in each area. We also considered the conservation value, biomass production, and forage values. Phytosociological data were processed using hierarchical cluster analysis and the non-parametric Kruskal–Wallis test. The overgrazed pasture (N1) exhibited the most degraded vegetation community, dominated by weeds and disturbance-tolerant species. The overgrazed (N1) pasture had a low forage value because of the different timing of treatments. Even in the lightly grazed pasture (C1), the proportion of species indicative of degradation was significant. The species composition of the areas indicated that the mown and subsequently grazed area (C2) had outstanding values. The species richness of C2 was twice that of the mown field (N2). Based on the present study, a combination of light grazing pressure and mowing is the most suitable approach for managing and economically utilizing these grasslands.

Stable isotope compositions of pedogenic clay minerals can be used as a paleoclimatic proxy. The underlying fundamental assumption is that pedogenic clays are formed in isotope equilibrium with the environment, which is well-documented for hot and humid climates. However, observational and experimental data on oxygen and hydrogen isotope composition of pedogenic clay minerals developed in colder climates remain scarce. According to "food legislation" requirements, all eggs entering the production of egg products must be disinfected. Therefore, developing technologies for decontaminating chicken eggs before use for food purposes is a promising work direction in chicken egg production and storage. This research aimed to identify the microbiota of chicken eggs with varying degrees of shell contamination and determine the influence of different methods of decontaminating microbial biofilms formed on eggshells. It was set up that the quantitative content of microorganisms on the surface of chicken eggs ranged from 103 CFU to 106 CFU/ml of washing and depended on the contamination of the shell with droppings. Lactobacillus spp., Bacillus spp., Corynebacterium, Staphylococcus were among the genera of bacteria that prevailed on the clean chicken shell, which were isolated in 30-50% of cases, and gram-negative microbiota was practically absent. The constant release of gram-positive bacteria is noted on the contaminated eggshell, and the frequency of identification of gram-negative microbiota of the Enterobacteriaceae genus and non-fermenting genera Pseudomonas and Psychrobacter increases. That is, the microbial scape of the microbiota of the chicken shell depends on its cleanliness, and the presence of a dirty surface increases the frequency of allocation of the resident microflora of the gastrointestinal tract. It was found that the working solution of the disinfectant Vircon S destroyed planktonic bacteria applied to the eggshell in an average of 2 minutes of exposure, stabilised water ozone for 1 minute, gaseous ozone for 3 minutes, and the action of ultraviolet rays with a length of 253.7 nm for 25-30 min. At the same time, using these disinfection methods on bacteria formed in a biofilm on the eggshell did not cause a bactericidal action during this time. To significantly reduce bacteria in the biofilm using these methods, it is necessary to increase the exposure time of the biocide by 2-3 times. Therefore, the complex structure of the eggshell and the multi-layered matrix of biofilms provide better protection for bacteria against the influence of the investigated disinfection methods.

Climate change has increased the frequency of extreme weather events, challenging traditional flood risk assessments. New methods, like InVEST’s urban flood risk mitigation model (UFRM), are crucial for assessing flood-prone areas, especially those vulnerable to pluvial flooding. This systematic review examines the utilization and limitations of the UFRM model for identifying flood-prone areas and designing adaptation plans in response to climate change, based on research articles published between 2019 and 2024. The articles were identified through Scinapse and Google Scholar using predefined criteria, including relevance to UFRM applications and publication within the specified timeframe. An analysis of the 21 selected papers using bibliometric techniques reveals geographic concentrations of the case studies that utilized the UFRM model primarily in Italy, Turkey, China, and the United States, with notable research gaps in Central Europe. The journal publication trends highlight the prominence of certain journals, such as the Journal of Land. A network analysis using VOSviewer identifies thematic clusters aligned with the UFRM research areas, including Urban Planning and Nature-Based Solutions (NBSs), Urbanization and Sustainable Development, the Economic and Social Effects of Flood Mitigation, Adaptation and Risk Management, and Resilience and Vulnerability. This review contributes to gaining a deeper understanding of the research landscape regarding the utilization of the UFRM model and provides recommendations for advancing sustainable and resilient urban development practices. The review was not preregistered in a formal registry. The finding reveals that integrating automation and optimization tools to suggest different solutions for problematic nodes in urban areas is crucial for addressing multiple issues simultaneously and optimizing adaptation plans effectively.

BackgroundCarbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is a global threat. We therefore analysed the bacterial characteristics of CRKP infections and the clinical outcomes of patients with CRKP infections across different countries.MethodsIn this prospective, multicentre, cohort study (CRACKLE-2), hospitalised patients with cultures positive for CRKP were recruited from 71 hospitals in Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Colombia, Lebanon, Singapore, and the USA. The first culture positive for CRKP was included for each unique patient. Clinical data on post-hospitalisation death and readmission were collected from health records, and whole genome sequencing was done on all isolates. The primary outcome was a desirability of outcome ranking at 30 days after the index culture, and, along with bacterial characteristics and 30-day all-cause mortality (a key secondary outcome), was compared between patients from China, South America, and the USA. The desirability of outcome ranking was adjusted for location before admission, Charlson comorbidity index, age at culture, Pitt bacteremia score, and anatomical culture source through inverse probability weighting; mortality was adjusted for the same confounders, plus region where relevant, through multivariable logistic regression. This study is registered at ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03646227, and is complete.FindingsBetween June 13, 2017, and Nov 30, 2018, 991 patients were enrolled, of whom 502 (51%) met the criteria for CRKP infection and 489 (49%) had positive cultures that were considered colonisation. We observed little intra-country genetic variation in CRKP. Infected patients from the USA were more acutely ill than were patients from China or South America (median Pitt bacteremia score 3 [IQR 2-6] vs 2 [0-4] vs 2 [0-4]) and had more comorbidities (median Charlson comorbidity index 3 [IQR 2-5] vs 1 [0-3] vs 1 [0-2]). Adjusted desirability of outcome ranking outcomes were similar in infected patients from China (n=246), South America (n=109), and the USA (n=130); the estimates were 53% (95% CI 42-65) for China versus South America, 50% (41-61) for the USA versus China, and 53% (41-66) for the USA versus South America. In patients with CRKP infections, unadjusted 30-day mortality was lower in China (12%, 95% CI 8-16; 29 of 246) than in the USA (23%, 16-30; 30 of 130) and South America (28%, 20-37; 31 of 109). Adjusted 30-day all-cause mortality was higher in South America than in China (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 4·82, 95% CI 2·22-10·50) and the USA (aOR 3·34, 1·50-7·47), with the mortality difference between the USA and China no longer being significant (aOR 1·44, 0·70-2·96).InterpretationGlobal CRKP epidemics have important regional differences in patients' baseline characteristics and clinical outcomes, and in bacterial characteristics. In recent years, global e-commerce has grown exponentially due to the evolution of markets and companies’ selling strategies. Moreover, COVID-19 has accelerated this trend, increasing the demand for new logistic hubs, responding to the growing request for the online buying/selling of goods/ or services, while generating a remarkable land take process. The national database on LULC and municipal land use plans do not detect logistics, thus limiting the adoption of strategies and policies for contrasting the associated phenomenon of land taken. Photo-interpretation and manual validation techniques, in combination with ancillary geodata, could fill the gap through an in depth classification of selected land use categories for mapping logistic hubs in a simple, accessible and economic way. The method was tested in two northern Italian regions (Lombardy and Friuli-Venezia-Giulia). Results display radical differences between the two con-texts, emphasising the heterogeneous impacts generated by logistics on the landscape. Lombardy has a significant concentration of new hubs located in the municipalities surrounding the Milan metropolitan area, whereas, in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, this type of land take is only a marginal problem when compared to other land use change. Findings confirm the need to define tailor-made land classification methodologies that support the definition of site-specific land take management policies.

Messor is a diverse genus of Myrmicinae with 168 extant species and subspecies. In the Mediterranean, some of its taxa historically were classified as members of the Messor instabilis group (sensu Santschi), of which 19 are known from the eastern Mediterranean. Here, the Messor semirufus complex of the Balkan Peninsula that assembles a distinct subsection of members of the instabilis group is defined and treated. In total, five species are recorded, including three that are new. Messor atanassovii Atanassov, 1982 is redescribed and confirmed for Bulgaria (Thracian Plain, Struma, and Mesta Valley, Pirin Mt., and Eastern Rhodopi) and Greece (Epirus, Ionian Islands, Central and Eastern Macedonia, and Thraki). Three species are described as new to science: Messor danaes Salata, Georgiadis & Borowiec, sp. nov. (Cyclades: Serifos), Messor kardamenae Salata & Borowiec, sp. nov. (Dodecanese: Kos, Nisyros, Rhodes, and Tilos), and Messor veneris Salata, Georgiadis & Borowiec, sp. nov. (Cyclades: Milos). The fifth member of the complex, Messor creticus Borowiec & Salata, 2019, maintains its status of Cretan endemic.

Biological invasions are considered a major driver of biodiversity loss, particularly on islands. Invasive alien ants can often have severe consequences on native biodiversity. Here, we review published and new information on alien ant species found on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, a biodiversity hotspot. Our checklist of alien ants of Cyprus includes a total of 17 species, of which nine are reported from Cyprus for the first time (*): Camponotus cf. vitiosus Smith, Cardiocondyla mauritanica Forel, 1890, Cardiocondyla obscurior Wheeler, W.M., 1929*, Hypoponera punctatissima (Roger, 1859)*, Monomorium bicolor Emery, 1877, Nylanderia jaegerskioeldi (Mayr, 1904), Paratrechina longicornis (Latreille, 1802), Pheidole fadli Sharaf, 2007*, Pheidole indica Mayr, 1879, Solenopsis sp. (thief ant)*, Tetramorium bicarinatum (Nylander, 1846)*, Tetramorium caldarium (Roger, 1857)*, Tetramorium immigrans Santschi, 1927*, Tetramorium lanuginosum Mayr, 1870*, Trichomyrmex destructor (Jerdon, 1851), Trichomyrmex mayri (Forel, 1902)*, and Wasmannia auropunctata (Roger, 1863). We did not include three previously reported alien species for which we could not find supporting specimens [Monomorium pharaonis (Linnaeus, 1758), Nylanderia vividula (Nylander, 1846), Solenopsis geminata (Fabricius, 1804)], one based on a previous misidentification [Cardiocondyla nuda (Mayr, 1866)], and two species now considered native to Cyprus [Hypoponera eduardi (Forel, 1894), Monomorium subopacum (F. Smith, 1858)]. Literature records, specimens from field surveys and museum collections, the geographic origin of species, occupied habitats in Cyprus, and notes on invasiveness (spread and impact) are presented for each species. An identification key to distinguish alien from native ant species in Cyprus is provided, including widespread alien ants not yet known from Cyprus in order to support early detection, monitoring, and management efforts.

Abstract Marburg and Ebola filoviruses are two of the deadliest infectious agents and several outbreaks have occurred in the last decades. Although several receptors and co-receptors have been reported for Ebola virus, key host factors remain to be elucidated. In this study, using a haploid cell screening platform, we identify the guanine nucleotide exchange factor CCZ1 as a key host factor in the early stage of filovirus replication. The critical role of CCZ1 for filovirus infections is validated in 3D primary human hepatocyte cultures and human blood-vessel organoids, both critical target sites for Ebola and Marburg virus tropism. Mechanistically, CCZ1 controls early to late endosomal trafficking of these viruses. In addition, we report that CCZ1 has a role in the endosomal trafficking of endocytosis-dependent SARS-CoV-2 infections, but not in infections by Lassa virus, which enters endo-lysosomal trafficking at the late endosome stage. Thus, we have identified an essential host pathway for filovirus infections in cell lines and engineered human target tissues. Inhibition of CCZ1 nearly completely abolishes Marburg and Ebola infections. Thus, targeting CCZ1 could potentially serve as a promising drug target for controlling infections caused by various viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, Marburg, and Ebola.

The article presents the essence and advantages of gamification and its implementation in the educational process; the use of game design elements by teachers in the educational environment. The purpose is to study and present the essence and benefits of gamification and its implementation in the educational process. To reveal the main functions of gamification as a method, the author used the method of induction and deduction, which made it possible to draw conclusions about the details of the gamification procedure and the possible results achieved in the game; the method of comparison, which helped to compare the results of using traditional teaching in lessons in a general education institution and lessons involving gamification techniques. Gamification as a tool that uses different types of student motivation is revealed. Gamification is shown as a complex of game methods and technologies aimed at developing skills and improving the learning process and quality of education. Gamification is revealed as a tool that helps teachers, regardless of the discipline they teach, to make learning interactive and engaging. The potential of using gamification methods to increase students’ motivation, engagement, and performance is presented, mainly by creating a comparative learning environment that affects how students learn. It is concluded that improving students’ motivation and engagement in learning activities is important for the development of skills and competencies. A teacher’s understanding of how gamification methods affect student behavior can help them choose the appropriate methods for their students.

Abstract Objective: To determine the prevalence of anxiety, depression and burnout in residents of Gynecology and Obstetrics during COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil and its associated factors. Methods: Cross-sectional study involving all regions of Brazil, through the application of a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-HSS) instrument. Multivariate analysis was performed after adjusting the Poisson model. Results: Among the 719 participating medical residents, screening was positive for anxiety in 75.7% and for depression in 49.8% of cases. Burnout syndrome was evidenced in 41.3% of the physicians studied. Those with depression are more likely to have anxiety (OR 0.797; 95%CI 0.687 - 0.925) and burnout syndrome (OR 0.847 95%CI 0.74 - 0.97). Residents with anxiety (OR 0.805; 95%CI 0.699 - 0.928) and burnout (OR 0.841; 95%CI 0.734 - 0.963) are more likely to have depression. Conclusion: High prevalence of anxiety, depression and burnout were found in residents of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Brazil, in addition to important correlations between anxiety-depression and depression-burnout.
