Background The coexistence of cardiac amyloidosis (CA) and degenerative aortic stenosis (AS) is increasing but the diagnosis is challenging because these two conditions share a common echocardiographic phenotype (1). Different predictors have been proposed in the last few years, including clinical, ECG-graphic and echocardiographic features (2–3). Purpose To identify a new marker of concomitant CA in patients with severe AS analyzing computed tomography scan (CT). Methods 55 patients with severe AS and suspicion of concomitant CA were retrospectively enrolled. Patients with a bicuspid aortic valve, previous aortic valve replacement, or an incomplete diagnostic workup for CA were excluded. 33 patients underwent CT-scan and were included in the final analysis. Results None of the patients presented laboratory suspicion for AL amyloidosis; 12 patients (AS-CA) had positive 99m Tc-DPD bone scintigraphy (two with visual score 1, eight score 2 and two score 3), 21 patients (AS-alone) had negative bone scintigraphy. AS-CA patients had a median age of 85,5 years (versus 81,5) with only one female patient (versus 8 in the AS-alone group). AVA indexed were comparable between AS-CA and AS-alone groups (0,4 versus 0, 3 mm2/m2, p: 0.25). Stroke volume evaluated by pulsed Doppler, maximum and mean gradient were significatively lower in AS-CA group (respectively 30 versus 41 ml/m2, p: 0.017, 62 versus 74 mmHg, 0.038 and 33 versus 46 mmHg, p:0.022) with a higher percentage of low flow-low gradient aortic stenosis in AS-CA group (7 patients, 58% vs 3 patients in AS-alone 14%, p: 0.027), in line with the literature. ECG at first presentation in AS-CA group showed atrial fibrillation in 8 patients (67%), versus 2 patients in the AS-alone group (10%), and lower QRS voltages (peripheral QRS score 40 mV vs 51 mV, p-value:0.017; total QRS score 113 mV versus 155 mV, p-value: 0.005). The echocardiogram showed a more thickened IVS and PW in AS-CA patients (17 versus 15 mm, p: 0.05 and 15 versus 14 mm, p: 0.013), an augmented left ventricular mass (441 versus 356 g, p: 0.036) with a decreases longitudinal systolic function (septal S wave at TDI 4.4 versus 5.2 cm/s, p: 0.026, lateral S wave 4.1 versus 5.6 cm/s, p: 0.024) and a reduction in myocardial contraction fraction (12 versus 14%, p: 0.036). CT- aortic valve calcium was quantified by an experienced operator. A statistically significant difference between AS-CA and AS-alone groups was observed in calcium score (3345 versus 4785 Hounsfield units, p: 0.037) calcium volume (2411 versus 3626 mm2, p: 0.03) and calcium mass (687 versus 1147 g, p: 0.023) Conclusions This study is the first to our knowledge to use relative aortic valve calcium score evaluation from CT imaging to characterize patients with severe AS with or without concomitant CA in addition to the classical clinical, ECG graphic, echocardiographic parameters. Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Fatigue is a frequent and debilitating symptom of multiple sclerosis (MS), affecting 90% of patients. Symptoms seems multifactorial, but little is known about the contribution of cardiovascular morpho-functional alterations linked to comorbidities, to lifestyle, to MS itself or to drugs (i.e. mitoxantrone). Aim to investigate the presence of cardiac alterations in MS patients, and to evaluate their impact on fatigue. Methods 24 patients with relapsing-remitting MS (RR-MS) underwent an electrocardiogram (ECG), a transthoracic echocardiographic (TTE), a six minutes walking test (6MWT) with Borg scale (BS), and two fatigue self-assessment scales, the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and the Modified Fatigue Impact Scale (MFIS). The patients were divided into 2 groups: group 1, without traditional cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF: smoke, hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia; n = 12, 11 females), and group 2, with at least one CVRF (n = 12, 5 females). None of the patients had ever been on mitoxantrone therapy. No new control group was studied due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic restrictions , so the comparison was performed with general healthy population in internationally validated previous studies. Results No arrhythmias were found. In both MS groups all the TTE left ventricular (LV) systolic function parameters were depressed compared to the healthy population, but only the mean global longitudinal strain (GLS), the mean longitudinal strain rate (LSR) of LV and estimated pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PAPs) were statistically significant depressed compared to the healthy general population (p Conclusions Subclinical biventricular systolic dysfunction is present in MS patients, and it seems to be linked to the disease itself without being influenced by CVRF. This dysfunction, detected by speckle tracking echocardiographic techniques, seems to contribute to the symptom of fatigue in patients with MS. It is important to include TTE in the workup and follow-up of MS patients, in order to promptly treat cardiac dysfunction and relieve fatigue. This study regards the experience of implementing a professional internship intended to students of Occupational Therapy in Primary Health Care in a Federal University located in São Paulo State, Brazil. Occupational therapist profession in Brazil was inserted in this level of care to offer specialised support to teams, mainly concerning qualification of care to vulnerable and invisible populations (community, family and cultural aspects), health promotion, encouragement of team work, humanisation in health. Such curricular internship occurs since 2017 to students of the 4th and 5th years of undergraduate course, completing 240 hours. How is the practice programme in Primary Health Care organised in the pedagogic project? Which are the strengths and fragilities of this field, as far as education is concerned? Among the practice scenarios, there are Basic Health Unit, Family Health Strategy teams, Family Health Support Centre, Street Clinic and University Basic Health Unit, with tutors who establish the collaboration. The interns follow individual and group cases, take part in team meetings and actions for team qualification and are also supervised weekly by a professor. Among their strengths, we can list a diversified education, based on the most recent public policies for the level of care that represents the stepping stone to the health system. As well as the access to the occupational therapy professional in this first contact, if the team identifies such necessity. Regarding challenges, there is unawareness about professional practice, difficulty to access work instruments and resources, as well as physical space. We hope this experience can help other educational institutions to implement their practice programmes in and for the health system. Egresses report that enables learning to work in a team in different scenarios. Such strategy aims to form a generalist professional, with criticality regarding challenges and potentialities of Brazilian public health. Key messages This study reports the experience of a professional internship of Occupational Therapy in Primary Health Care, understanding the health system as a scenario for practice, teaching and learning. Educating occupational therapists to this level of care is necessary, in agreement with the attributes of Primary Care.

We report ferroelectric ordering in Ni-substituted $\mathrm{CaBaC}{\mathrm{o}}_{4}{\mathrm{O}}_{7}$. Magnetization showed ferrimagnetic transition at 60 K and an additional magnetic anomaly is found at $\ensuremath{\sim}82\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$. The enhanced antiferromagnetic interactions and decrease in saturation magnetization are noticed with Ni substitution. The dielectric and pyroelectric measurements illustrate strong coupling between spin and charge degrees of freedom. Ferroelectric behavior is confirmed with enhanced ordering temperature $(\ensuremath{\sim}82\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K})$ and saturation polarization $(250\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}\ensuremath{\mu}\mathrm{C}/{\mathrm{m}}^{2})$. Neutron diffraction has revealed an increase in $c$-lattice parameter in the Ni sample. All the Co/Ni moments are reoriented in the $a$ direction. A transition from a noncollinear ferrimagnetic to a collinear ferrimagnetic spin order, with $\ensuremath{\uparrow}\ensuremath{\uparrow}\ensuremath{\downarrow}\ensuremath{\downarrow}$ antiferromagnetic ordering in the kagome layer, is observed with substitution. This results in the appearance of unequal bond distances in a two-dimensional collinear layer; most likely this is responsible for the transition from pyroelectric to ferroelectric, with the possibility of switching of electric polarization.

Selected plant-probiotic microorganisms, produced by the company CCS Aosta at a commercial scale, are being tested in the Italian Padana plain in open field conditions for their ability to provide adequate crop nutrition and to ensure durable soil fertility for organic tomato production. In this three-years-long project the QLIF-WP333 research team will investigate the potential of soil probiotics management as a tool to improve the quality of tomato fruits and the sustainability of organic tomato production systems.

This paper attempts to demonstrate how a greater and more skilled fungal presence could increase the potential productivity of forest areas. In particular, we believe that the development of timely, silviculture-cared production could be an important part of forestry income. While interest in traditional forestry production (copice firewood) has gradually decreased, underwood products have become more and more economically important, in that the income of the local population harvesting these products has increased and that tourism in the form of town-dwellers has flourished. In the specific case of mushroom-growing forests, the main problem is to find a balance between silviculture and products of the underwood. using the silviculture techniques which particularly maintains mushroom production . The objective of production recovery work undertaken in boletus growing forests, is to increase productivity of the local mushrooms with naturally present mycorrhization characteristics. When faced with a forest which was once a strong producer of boletus but which has declined over the years, one works to restore the set of favorable environmental conditions for the development of carpophores; the long-term presence of mycorrhize and spores in the earth gives the forest this potential. It's therefore necessary to intervene the restore the edible forest to the condition required for the development of boletus. Analyzing the data on the gathering and commercialization of s from Borgotaro, which has been a particularly productive area over the last 30 years, it is declared to be a 4000ha site with an average yearly production of 15kg circa per hectare and an average value of 300,000 Itl. (Italian lire). In the boroughs of Rossana, Cuneo and Givoletto, Torino, the two farmers who manage the forest, principally, in order to gather boletus and who have exclusive right of entry to them, have had an average harvest of roughly 100kg per hectare over the last ten years. By studying the dielectric properties of the geometrically frustrated spinel CdV2O4, we observe ferroelectricity developing at the transition into the collinear antiferromagnetic ground state. In this multiferroic spinel, ferroelectricity is driven by local exchange striction and not by the more common scenario of spiral magnetism. The experimental findings are corroborated by ab initio calculations of the electric polarization and the underlying spin and orbital order. The results point toward a charge rearrangement due to dimerization, where electronic correlations and the proximity to the insulator-metal transition play an important role.

n-Dodecane and fatty acids were good inducers of cytochrome P450 (CYP) and the ω-hydroxylase of lauric acid, which is a marker for ω-hydroxylation of n-alkanes, in Trichoderma harzianum. A cDNA, containing an ORF of 1520 bp, encoding a CYP52 of 520 amino acids, was isolated by RACE. Another n-alkane-inducible CYP was identified by LLC-MS/MS analysis of a microsomal protein band induced by n-dodecane in a library of T. harzianum. This suggests that T. harzianum has a CYP-dependent conversion of alkanes to fatty acids allowing their incorporation into lipids.

The activity of CoO in solid solutions of CoO and MgO has been determined, in the temperature range 1273 to 1473 K, by an electrochemical method. The chemical potentials, activities, and activity coefficients of CoO and of MgO have been calculated. The mixtures exhibit slight positive deviations from ideal behavior.

SUMMARY Cistus incanus ssp. incanus was tested with six Tuber species to prove its ectomycorrhizal development; the same was done with Tuber melanosporum and five Cistus species. Cistus incanus L. ssp. incanus formed ectomycorrhizas with Tuber albidum Pico, T. brumale Vitt., T. aestivum Vitt. and T. rufum Pico. The five Cistus species (Cistus albidus L., C. laurifolius L., C. salvifolius L., C. crispus L. and C. monspeliensis L.) developed ectomycorrhizas with Tuber melanosporum Vitt. These Cistaceae may be used as shrubby plants and as colonizers in truffle cultivations; the variety of their environmental and ecological requirements is such that it would be possible to increase the types of soil and number of places where truffles can be grown.
