- Abstract
In verbal creative problems like compound remote associates (CRAs), the solution is semantically distant and there is nopredefined path to the solution. Therefore, people first search through the space of possible solutions before retrieving thecorrect semantic content by extending their search space. We assume that search and solution are both part of a semanticcontrol process which involves the inferior frontal gyrus (IFG). Furthermore, the degree of the IFG involvement dependson how much the search space needs to be extended, i.e. how semantically distant the solution is. To demonstrate this,we created a modified CRA paradigm which systematically modulates the semantic distance from the first target wordto the solution via priming. We show that brain areas (left inferior frontal gyrus and middle temporal gyrus) associatedwith semantic control are already recruited during search. In addition, we found a linear correlation between the BOLDactivation of the IFG (pars orbitalis and triangularis) and the search space extension. However, this linear relationshipcould only be observed during and shortly before the correct solution but not during search. We discuss the role of the IFGin accessing semantically distant information during verbal creative problem solving.

- Abstract
In insight problem solving solutions with AHA! experience have been assumed to be the consequence of restructuring ofa problem which usually takes place shortly before the solution. However, evidence from priming studies suggests thatsolutions with AHA! are not spontaneously generated during the solution process but already relate to prior subliminalprocessing. We test this hypothesis by conducting an fMRI study using a modified compound remote associates paradigmwhich incorporates semantic priming. We observe stronger brain activity in bilateral anterior insulae already shortly aftertrial onset in problems that were later solved with than without AHA!. This early activity was independent of semanticpriming but may be related to other lexical properties of attended words helping to reduce the amount of solutions to lookfor. In contrast, there was more brain activity in bilateral anterior insulae during solutions that were solved without thanwith AHA!. This timing (after trial start / during solution) x solution experience (with / without AHA!) interaction wassignificant. The results suggest that a) solutions accompanied with AHA! relate to early solution-relevant processing andb) both solution experiences differ in timing when solution-relevant processing takes place. In this context, we discuss thepotential role of the anterior insula as part of the salience network involved in problem-solving by allocating attentionalresources.

Background: the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 virus that emerged in December 2019 causing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led to the sudden national reorganization of health care systems and changes in the delivery of health care globally. The purpose of our study was to use a survey to assess the global effects of COVID-19 on colorectal practice and surgery. Materials and methods: a panel of International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS) selected 22 questions, which were included in the questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed electronically to ISUCRS fellows and other surgeons included in the ISUCRS database and was advertised on social media sites. The questionnaire remained open from April 16 to 28, 2020. Results: a total of 287 surgeons completed the survey. Of the 287 respondents, 90% were colorectal specialists or general surgeons with an interest in colorectal disease. COVID-19 had affected the practice of 96% of the surgeons, and 52% were now using telemedicine. Also, 66% reported that elective colorectal cancer surgery could proceed but with perioperative precautions. Of the 287 respondents, 19.5% reported that the use of personal protective equipment was the most important perioperative precaution. However, personal protective equipment was only provided by 9.1% of hospitals. In addition, 64% of surgeons were offering minimally invasive surgery. However, 44% reported that enough information was not available regarding the safety of the loss of intra-abdominal carbon dioxide gas during the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, 61% of the surgeons were prepared to defer elective colorectal cancer surgery, with 29% willing to defer for ≤ 8 weeks. Conclusion: the results from our survey have demonstrated that, globally, COVID-19 has affected the ability of colorectal surgeons to offer care to their patients. We have also discussed suggestions for various practical adaptation strategies for use during the recovery period. We have presented the results of a survey used to assess the global impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the delivery of colorectal surgery. Despite accessible guidance information, our results have demonstrated that COVID-19 has significantly affected the ability of colorectal surgeons to offer care to patients. We have also discussed practical adaptation strategies for use during the recovery phase., NA

Let Bp,qs,α(Ω) be the Besov space with classical smoothness s and additional logarithmic smoothness of order α on a bounded Lipschitz domain Ω in Rd. For s1, s2 ∈ R, 1 ≤ p1, p2, q1, q2 ≤ ∞ and s1 − s2 = d − d(1/p2 − 1/p1)+, we show a sufficient condition on q1, q2 for nuclearity of embedding Bs1,α1 (superíndices) y p1, q1 (subíndices)(Ω) → Bp2,α2 (superíndice) y s2 q,2 (subíndices) (Ω). We also show that the condition is necessary in a wide range of parameters.

This study examines new forms of honorific final ending which have emerged in recent years in Modern Korean such as ‘-ta-yo’, ‘-haca-yo’, and ‘-ha-si-keyss-supni-ta.’ ‘-ta-yo’ is mostly used by young girls as an honorific final ending towards the adults, particularly the intimate ones including their parents and teachers. It is often used by their female teachers as well towards the intimates as a linguistic mechanism to lessen the awkwardness when they boast of something or try to become more intimate relation with them. ‘-haca-yo’ is generally used by young adults particularly on SNS (Social Network Service) when they ask, advise, recommend, or suggest others on the Net to do something together. ‘-ha-si-keyss-supni-ta’ is used usually by a person in authority in places such as school and church when he/she encourages, asks, advises, or recommends others to fulfill a promise or commands. As indicated, these new forms of honorific final ending in Modern Korean are exclusively used by some particular groups, i.e. ‘-ta-yo’ by young girls and their teachers, ‘-haca-yo’ by young adults, and ‘-ha-si-keyss-supni-ta’ by a person in authority, showing the politeness in language use towards others. They are often treated as wrong honorific final endings in Korean but there still is a possibility or potential for them to become right honorific ones sometime in the near future as witnessed in other Korean words such as ‘sakulsey’ (monthly rent) once treated as a wrong word but finally acknowledged to be right ones.

Background: Pompe disease is a rare but potentially treatable metabolic disorder having an estimated worldwide incidence of one in forty thousand live births. While the introduction of enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) has considerably increased the awareness of the disease, the delay in diagnosis is still consistent and most patients go undetected. Objective: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of late-onset Pompe disease (LOPD) in a high-risk population, using dried blood spot (DBS) as a main screening tool. Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on the 93 patients who attended to the neuromuscular center of Bu-ali hospital in Tehran, Iran, during 2014-2015. Inclusion criteria were: 1) age ≥1 years, 2) proximal myopathies of unknown etiology in lower limbs or symptoms of limb girdle muscle weakness (LGMW), and 3) unexplained elevated CPK (>174). Acid α-glucosidase (GAA) activity was measured separately on DBS by fluorometric method. For the final diagnosis, GAA deficiency was confirmed by a biochemical assay in skeletal muscle, whereas genotype was assessed by GAA molecular analysis. All statistical tests were performed using the SPSS version 16. Results are presented as mean (SD) or median (IQR), as appropriate. Results: In a 12-month period, we studied 93 cases: 5 positive samples (5.3%) were detected by DBS screening, biochemical and molecular genetic studies finally confirmed LOPD diagnosis in 3 cases (3.22%). Among the 93 patients, 100% showed hyperCKemia, 89 patients (95.7%) showed LGMW and 4 patients had symptoms of proximal myopathies in the lower limb. Conclusions: Results from the LOPED study suggest that GAA activity requires accurate screening by DBS in all patients referred for hyperCKemia and/or LGMW

- Abstract
We present an amplitude analysis of the decay D0 → K -π+π+π- based on a data sample of 2.93 fb−1 acquired by the BESIII detector at the ψ(3770) resonance. With a nearly background free sample of about 16000 events, we investigate the substructure of the decay and determine the relative fractions and the phases among the different intermediate processes. Our amplitude model includes the two-body decays D0 → ¯K*0ρ0, D0 → K−a+1(1260) and D0 → K−1(1270)π+, the three-body decays D0 →¯K*0π+π− and D0 → K−π+ρ0, as well as the four-body nonresonant decay D0 → K−π+π+π−. The dominant intermediate process is D0 → K−a+1(1260), accounting for a fit fraction of 54.6%., title in WoS: Amplitude analysis of D-0 -> K- pi(+) pi(+) pi(-)

- Abstract
The decays of chi(c2) -> K+K- pi(0), KSK +/-pi(-/+), and pi(+)pi(-)pi(0) are studied with the psi(3686) data samples collected with the Beijing Spectrometer ( BESIII). For the first time, the branching fractions of chi(c2) -> K*(K) over bar,chi(c2) -> a(2)(+/-)(1320)pi(-/+)/a(2)(0)(1320)pi(0), and chi(c2) -> rho(770)(+/-)pi(-/+) are measured. Here, K*(K) over bar denotes both K*K-+/-(-/+) and its isospin-conjugated process K*(0)(K) over bar (0) + c: c:, and K* denotes the resonances K*(892), K*(2)(1430), and K*(3)(1780). The observations indicate a strong violation of the helicity selection rule in chi(c2) decays into vector and pseudoscalar meson pairs. The measured branching fractions of chi(c2) -> K*(892)(K) over bar are more than ten times larger than the upper limit of chi(c2) -> rho(770)(+/-)pi(-/+), which is so far the first direct observation of a significant U-spin symmetry breaking effect in charmonium decays., BESIII Collaboration

- Abstract
Using 2.93 fb(-1) of data taken at 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider, we study the semileptonic decays D+ -> (K) over bar (0)e(+)nu(e) and D+ -> pi(0)e(+)nu(e). We measure the absolute decay branching fractions B(D+ -> (K) over bar (0)e(+)nu(e)) = (8.60 +/- 0.06 +/- 0.15) x 10(-2) and B(D+ -> pi(0)e(+)nu(e)) = (3.63 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.05) x 10(-3), where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. We also measure the differential decay rates and study the form factors of these two decays. With the values of |V-cs| and |V-cd| from Particle Data Group fits assuming Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) unitarity, we obtain the values of the form factors at q(2) = 0, f(+)(K)(0) = 0.725 +/- 0.004 +/- 0.012, and f(+)(pi)(0) = 0.622 +/- 0.012 +/- 0.003. Taking input from recent lattice QCD calculations of these form factors, we determine values of the CKM matrix elements |V-cs| = 0.944 +/- 0.005 +/- 0.015 +/- 0.024 and |V-cd| = 0.210 +/- 0.004 +/- 0.001 +/- 0.009, where the third uncertainties are theoretical.

The physics program of the High Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer HADES at GSI is largely motivated by the aim to study medium modifications of hadrons predicted by many theoretical approaches, as well as by the need to shed light on the still unexplained results of the former DLS experiment. In this contribution the HADES experiment is outlined and first results obtained in 12 C+ 12 C collisions at 2 AGeV are presented.
