Abstract

A search for Dark Sectors is performed using the unique M2 beam line at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. New particles ($X$) could be produced in the bremsstrahlung-like reaction of high energy 160 GeV muons impinging on an active target, $\mu N\rightarrow\mu NX$, followed by their decays, $X\rightarrow\text{invisible}$. The experimental signature would be a scattered single muon from the target, with about less than half of its initial energy and no activity in the sub-detectors located downstream the interaction point. The full sample of the 2022 run is analyzed through the missing energy/momentum channel, with a total statistics of $(1.98\pm0.02)\times10^{10}$ muons on target. We demonstrate that various muon-philic scenarios involving different types of mediators, such as scalar or vector particles, can be probed simultaneously with such a technique. For the vector-case, besides a $L_\mu-L_\tau$ $Z'$ vector boson, we also consider an invisibly decaying dark photon ($A'\rightarrow\text{invisible}$). This search is complementary to NA64 running with electrons and positrons, thus, opening the possibility to expand the exploration of the thermal light dark matter parameter space by combining the results obtained with the three beams., Comment: 24 pages, 22 figures

Abstract

Reliable quantitative vegetation reconstructions for Europe during the Holocene are crucial to improving our understanding of landscape dynamics, making it possible to assess the past effects of environmental variables and land-use change on ecosystems and biodiversity, and mitigating their effects in the future. We present here the most spatially extensive and temporally continuous pollen-based reconstructions of plant cover in Europe (at a spatial resolution of 1° × 1°) over the Holocene (last 11.7 ka BP) using the ‘Regional Estimates of VEgetation Abundance from Large Sites’ (REVEALS) model. This study has three main aims. First, to present the most accurate and reliable generation of REVEALS reconstructions across Europe so far. This has been achieved by including a larger number of pollen records compared to former analyses, in particular from the Mediterranean area. Second, to discuss methodological issues in the quantification of past land cover by using alternative datasets of relative pollen productivities (RPPs), one of the key input parameters of REVEALS, to test model sensitivity. Finally, to validate our reconstructions with the global forest change dataset. The results suggest that the RPPs.st1 (31 taxa) dataset is best suited to producing regional vegetation cover estimates for Europe. These reconstructions offer a long-term perspective providing unique possibilities to explore spatial-temporal changes in past land cover and biodiversity.

Abstract

The inclusion of an additional $U(1)$ gauge $L_\mu-L_\tau$ symmetry would release the tension between the measured and the predicted value of the anomalous muon magnetic moment: this paradigm assumes the existence of a new, light $Z^\prime$ vector boson, with dominant coupling to $\mu$ and $\tau$ leptons and interacting with electrons via a loop mechanism. The $L_\mu-L_\tau$ model can also explain the Dark Matter relic abundance, by assuming that the $Z'$ boson acts as a "portal" to a new Dark Sector of particles in Nature, not charged under known interactions. In this work we present the results of the $Z'$ search performed by the NA64-$e$ experiment at CERN SPS, that collected $\sim 9\times10^{11}$ 100 GeV electrons impinging on an active thick target. Despite the suppressed $Z'$ production yield with an electron beam, NA64-$e$ provides the first accelerator-based results excluding the $g-2$ preferred band of the $Z'$ parameter space in the 1 keV $ < m_{Z'} \lesssim 2$ MeV range, in complementarity with the limits recently obtained by the NA64-$\mu$ experiment with a muon beam., Comment: 15 pages, 5 figures. Abstract

We report on a search for a new $Z'$ ($L_\mu-L_\tau$) vector boson performed at the NA64 experiment employing a high energy muon beam and a missing energy-momentum technique. Muons from the M2 beamline at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron with a momentum of 160 GeV/c are directed to an active target. A signal event is a single scattered muon with momentum $<$ 80 GeV/c in the final state, accompanied by missing energy, i.e. no detectable activity in the downstream calorimeters. For a total statistic of $(1.98\pm0.02)\times10^{10}$ muons on target, no event is observed in the expected signal region. This allows us to set new limits on part of the remaining $(m_{Z'},\ g_{Z'})$ parameter space which could provide an explanation for the muon $(g-2)_\mu$ anomaly. Additionally, our study excludes part of the parameter space suggested by the thermal Dark Matter relic abundance. Our results pave the way to explore Dark Sectors and light Dark Matter with muon beams in a unique and complementary way to other experiments., Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures

Abstract

We present the results of a missing-energy search for Light Dark Matter which has a new interaction with ordinary matter transmitted by a vector boson, called dark photon $A^\prime$. For the first time, this search is performed with a positron beam by using the significantly enhanced production of $A^\prime$ in the resonant annihilation of positrons with atomic electrons of the target nuclei, followed by the invisible decay of $A^\prime$ into dark matter. No events were found in the signal region with $(10.1 \pm 0.1)~\times~10^{9}$ positrons on target with 100 GeV energy. This allowed us to set new exclusion limits that, relative to the collected statistics, prove the power of this experimental technique. Abstract

Thermal dark matter models with particle $\chi$ masses below the electroweak scale can provide an explanation for the observed relic dark matter density. This would imply the existence of a new feeble interaction between the dark and ordinary matter. We report on a new search for the sub-GeV $\chi$ production through the interaction mediated by a new vector boson, called the dark photon $A'$, in collisions of 100 GeV electrons with the active target of the NA64 experiment at the CERN SPS. With $9.37\times10^{11}$ electrons on target collected during 2016-2022 runs NA64 probes for the first time the well-motivated region of parameter space of benchmark thermal scalar and fermionic dark matter models. No evidence for dark matter production has been found. This allows us to set the most sensitive limits on the $A'$ couplings to photons for masses $m_{A'} \lesssim 0.35$ GeV, and to exclude scalar and Majorana dark matter with the $\chi-A'$ coupling $\alpha_D \leq 0.1$ for masses $0.001 \lesssim m_\chi \lesssim 0.1$ GeV and $3m_\chi \leq m_{A'}$., Comment: 7 pages, 7 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1906.00176

Abstract

In this study, we present the measurement of the intrinsic hadronic contamination at the CERN SPS H4 beamline configured to transport electrons and positrons at 100 GeV/c momentum. The analysis was performed using data collected by the NA64-$e$ experiment in 2022. Our study is based on calorimetric measurements, exploiting the different interaction mechanisms of electrons and hadrons in the NA64-ECAL and NA64-HCAL detectors. We determined the intrinsic hadronic contamination by comparing the results obtained using the nominal electron/positron beamline configuration with those obtained in a dedicated setup, in which only hadrons impinged on the detector. The significant differences in the experimental signatures of electrons and hadrons motivated our approach, resulting in a small and well-controlled systematic uncertainty for the measurement. Our study allowed us to precisely determine the intrinsic hadronic contamination, which represents a crucial parameter for the NA64 experiment in which the hadron contaminants may result in non-trivial backgrounds. Moreover, we performed dedicated Monte Carlo simulations for the hadron production induced by the primary T2 target. We found a good agreement between measurements and simulation results, confirming the validity of the applied methodology and our evaluation of the intrinsic hadronic contamination.

Abstract

The Spin Physics Detector, a universal facility for studying the nucleon spin structure and other spin-related phenomena with polarized proton and deuteron beams, is proposed to be placed in one of the two interaction points of the NICA collider that is under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia). At the heart of the project there is huge experience with polarized beams at JINR. The main objective of the proposed experiment is the comprehensive study of the unpolarized and polarized gluon content of the nucleon. Spin measurements at the Spin Physics Detector at the NICA collider have bright perspectives to make a unique contribution and challenge our understanding of the spin structure of the nucleon. In this document the Conceptual Design of the Spin Physics Detector is presented.

11. The Impact of Digital Transformation on the Formation of the Enterprise’s Economic Security System

Abstract

The article is aimed at studying the features of formation of the system of economic security of enterprise, taking into account the risks that arise under conditions of digital transformation. When analyzing, systematizing and generalizing scientific works of many domestic and foreign scholars, the features of the digital transformation of the enterprise and its impact on the components of the overall system of economic security of the enterprise were considered in detail. As result of the study, the main problems and risks faced by the majority of enterprises in the process of digital transformation were identified and summarized, in particular, the following groups were allocated: technological, operational, managerial, financial and risks to privacy. The negative impact of the novel risks associated with digital transformation on the financial, technological, informational, personnel, and intellectual subsystems of the general system of economic security of enterprise is determined. It is substantiated that the effects of materialization of new risks can be destructive in relation to the activities of the entire economic entity and lead to significant financial, economic and organizational losses of enterprise. The step-by-step risk management in the system of economic security of enterprises undergoing digital transformation has been proposed, which includes: identification and diagnosis of further risks; risk optimization; monitoring of the state of economic security of the enterprise. In order to ensure the normal functioning and also to minimize the effect of negative factors and risks of digital transformation, the following proposals are formed: introduction and use of an integrated automated system of management and rationalization of business processes; use of cloud computing and SaaS solutions; development of necessary materials for staff training; use of new information-communicative and analytical technologies; ensuring investment in the development of digital skills; concluding agreements with technology partners; development of a culture of innovation and adaptability. Prospects for further research in this direction are the definition and quantitative assessment of the impact of digital transformation on the system of economic security of enterprise, as well as the development of approaches to managing a new system of economic security based on the use of the latest technologies of artificial intelligence and digitalization of business processes.

Abstract

The genus Capsella serves as a model for understanding speciation, hybridization, and genome evolution in plants. Here, we present a chromosome-scale genome assembly of Capsella orientalis , the maternal progenitor of a cosmopolitan allotetraploid C. bursa-pastoris. Using nanopore sequencing and data on chromatin contacts (Hi-C), we assembled the genome into eight pseudo-chromosomes with high contiguity, evidenced by a benchmarking universal single-copy orthologs (BUSCO) completeness score of 99.3%. Comparative analysis with C. rubella and C. bursa-pastoris revealed overall synteny, except for 2 Mb inversion on chromosome 4 of C. rubella. Comparative genome analysis highlighted the conservation of gene content and structural integrity in the C. orientalis -derived subgenome of C. bursa-pastoris , with the exception of a 1.8 Mb region absent in O subgenome but present in C. orientalis. The genome annotation includes 27,675 protein-coding genes, with most exhibiting one-to-one orthology with Arabidopsis thaliana. Notably, 2,155 genes showed no similarity to A. thaliana ones. These results establish a robust genomic resource for C. orientalis , facilitating future studies on polyploid evolution, gene regulation, and species divergence within Capsella. Abstract

In models with insufficient initial information, parameter estimation can be subject to statistical uncertainty, potentially resulting in suboptimal decision-making; however, delaying implementation to gather more information can also incur costs. This paper examines an extension of information-theoretic approaches designed to address this classical dilemma, focusing on balancing the expected profits and the information needed to be obtained about all of the possible outcomes. Initially utilized in binary outcome scenarios, these methods leverage information measures to harmonize competing objectives efficiently. Building upon the foundations laid by existing research, this methodology is expanded to encompass experiments with multiple outcome categories using Dirichlet processes. The core of our approach is centered around weighted entropy measures, particularly in scenarios dictated by Dirichlet distributions, which have not been extensively explored previously. We innovatively adapt the technique initially applied to binary case to Dirichlet distributions/processes. The primary contribution of our work is the formulation of a sequential minimization strategy for the main term of an asymptotic expansion of differential entropy, which scales with sample size, for non-binary outcomes. This paper provides a theoretical grounding, extended empirical applications, and comprehensive proofs, setting a robust framework for further interdisciplinary applications of information-theoretic paradigms in sequential decision-making. Abstract

The inclusion of an additional U(1) gauge $L_{\mu} - L_{\tau}$ symmetry would release the tension between the measured and the predicted value of the anomalous muon magnetic moment: this paradigm assumes the existence of a new, light $Z'$ vector boson, with dominant coupling to ${\mu}$ and ${\tau}$ and interacting with electrons via a loop mechanism. The $L_{\mu} - L_{\tau}$ model can also explain the Dark Matter relic abundance, by assuming that the $Z'$ boson acts as a "portal" to a new Dark Sector of particles in Nature, not charged under known interactions. In this work we present the results of the $Z'$ search performed by the NA64-$e$ experiment at CERN SPS, that collected $ \sim 9 \times 10^{11}$ 100-GeV electrons impinging on an active thick target. Despite the suppressed $Z'$ production yield with an electron beam, the limits sets by NA64-$e$ are competitive with other experimental searches, and partially exclude the $g-2$ preferred model parameter values for $Z'$ masses lighter than 2 MeV. Abstract

The article is aimed at forming methodical approaches to assessing the efficiency of advertising brand content on social networks from the point of view of the target audience. A comparative analysis of the perception of advertising content of the Pepsi brand by the target audience is carried out. Measurements of marketing communication targets on the social networks Facebook and Instagram are characterized. Using the statistical analysis method, the task setting of modeling the selection of communication instruments that correspond to the objectives of advertising campaign is described. The criteria for evaluating the efficiency of instruments on social networks have been formed as follows: duration of attraction, coverage and audience displays, advertising costs, ad message handling, etc. The target indicators of the efficiency of communication instruments are estimated from the perspective of the advertiser to achieve the goals of attracting unique users, increasing the degree of customer loyalty and customer retention, image advertising. The principle of the perception of advertising content by the target audience on social networks Facebook and Instagram is substantiated. The effectiveness of the viral, advertising and organic coverage, displays and activity of unique users are analyzed. This study helped to evaluate the impact of selected advertising tools on achieving the goals of an advertising campaign to improve the informative decision-making process for choosing marketing communications. In particular, three rubrics and their statistic indicators were considered, which identified that targeted advertising should be used to increase a brand coverage. The largest audience coverage for the Pepsi brand is achieved only in a paid way, in particular the percentage of targeted advertising coverage is 99.47%, while organic and viral coverage - less than 1%.

23. Risk Assessment of Water Transport Enterprises by Modeling Direct and Indirect Threats

Abstract

Introduction. The methods of traffic modeling by water transport and assessing the risks associated with it is needed to identify the issues of the past period, proposing methods for assessing not only direct but also indirect risks to form the preconditions for preventing them in the postwar reconstruction. The coordination of different transport type’s actions of transport requires an assessment of risks impact of the previous stages of mixed transportation on the formation of the following risks’ stages. Existing methods of assessing such impact need to be improved. Aim and tasks. The aim of this study is creation of methodological approach to risk management in water transport based on a mathematical model for assessing the impact of both direct and indirect risks. The tasks are: to prove that the additive approach of taking risks into account leads to the systematic deviation appearance from the result; take into account the impact on the risk of cargo transportation. Results. It has proved that the calculation of risk as an additive function leads to a systematic deviation from the relevant result. It stated that the risk of each of the next stages of transportation depends on the risks of the previous stages. To increase risk analysis relevance in water transport, the use of an oriented graph in a multidimensional parameter space proposed. It stated that in order to calculate the integrated risk, it is essential building not only the risk matrix but also the risk incidence matrix to take into account their relation to business entities. It established the impact of even minor risks could take the form of a catastrophe, which leads to cargo flows reorientation. It established that: for calculation of integral risk, it is crucial consider direct and indirect influences of risks; risk calculation for water transport also requires risk analysis in related modes of transport. Conclusions. It was established that, when calculating integral risk, it is necessary to consider direct and indirect influences on risks and that the risk calculation for water transport also requires risk analysis in related modes of transport. The proposed approach significantly increases the relevance of water transport risk analysis and allows for managing changes in transportation routes in real time.

Abstract

World economic crises, internal economic and political instability have led to declining the level of investment attractiveness and investment security of Ukraine. The aim of the article is to propose an integral index in order to assess investment environment security and determine factors affecting the investment environment security of Ukraine. The suggested assessment is based on the data of World Bank’s indexes with the following blocks of factors: the availability of economic freedom, favorable organizational conditions for doing business, political and legal freedom, supply of resources and infrastructure development. The assessment of Ukrainian investment environment security and its Western neighbors – the European Union member states – has shown that it has lowest rank and highest volatility in Ukraine. The article identifies a direct statistical relation between the volume of foreign direct investment flows in Ukraine and the indicator of political stability and the absence of violence in the country. The main reasons of investment attractiveness reduction in Ukraine were as follows: conservative attitude of investors towards risks due to political instability, manifestations of violence and terrorism; deterioration of the overall financial situation of enterprises, which are the recipients of investments. The article substantiates that conditions for the investment attraction and secure environment in Ukraine have not been formed yet. The system of indicators and criteria for assessing the level of investment environment security should be expanded.

Abstract

У статті представлено результати емпіричного дослідження емоційного інтелекту та лідерських якостей слухачів соціономічних професій (безробітних, які проходять професійну перепідготовку). Установлено взаємозв’язки та визначено можливість їх розвитку в процесі навчання. Відзначено, що більшість респондентів має середні або низькі рівні розвитку емоційного інтелекту й лідерських якостей. Вони в основному володіють інформацією про природу емоцій та емоційних станів, можуть ставити себе на місце іншого й ураховують у процесі прийняття рішень почуття та емоції інших людей. Проте вони недостатньо мотивовані, їм складно управляти власними емоціями, не завжди самокритичні, їм важко самостійно й своєчасно приймати рішення. Цілісна та систематична дія на розвиток емоційного інтелекту слухачів здійснена в рамках курсу «Розвиток емоційного інтелекту», метою якого було набуття практичних навиків розуміння, управління власними емоціями та емоціями інших людей. Установлено, що в досліджуваних після закінчення навчання значно збільшилися показники за шкалами «Емоційна поінформованість», «Управління своїми емоціями», «Самомотивація», «Емпатія», «Інтегративний рівень емоційного інтелекту», «Рівень лідерських якостей». Статистична обробка результатів підтвердила значущі розбіжності в середніх оцінках показників за цими шкалами. Це дало підставу зробити висновок про можливість їх розвитку в слухачів за допомогою спеціальних тренінгових занять у процесі професійної перепідготовки. Усі кореляційні зв’язки мають прямий характер, тобто чим вищий рівень розвитку емоційного інтелекту, тим більш виражені лідерські якості. Найбільш сильно на розвиток лідерських якостей впливають такі складники емоційного інтелекту, як «Управління своїми емоціями», «Самомотивація», «Роз­пізнавання емоцій інших людей, «Інтегративний емоційний інтелект» (установлено позитивні тісні зв’язки). 28. RELIABILITY OF CARGO TRANSPORTATION AS THE MAIN OBJECTIVE FUNCTION OF CARGO TRANSPORTATION BY WATER TRANSPORT UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF MILITARY RISKS

Abstract

Topicality. Traditionally, routes were chosen based on the principle of the shortest logistical arm. But in the conditions of war, the impact of military risks and the dynamic nature of their change becomes much greater than the combined impact of other risks. This necessitates the use of reliability as the main objective function of transportation, a radical change in approaches to the rational selection of the most appropriate transportation options, and, in the event of a growing threat, the rapid change of the next stages of the cargo transportation route, even if the previous stages of the transportation route have already been completed.Aim and tasks. The aim of the work is the development of mathematical model for assessing the reliability of water transportation under military threats and the development of an algorithm for a decision-making support system for neutralizing the impact of threats to transportation. Achieving the goal of the research made it necessary to set and solve the following tasks: carry out a mathematical formalization of the problem and identify parameters of influence on the integral function of reliability; analyze the impact parameters and determine the most significant of them; to develop an algorithm for a decision-making support system for neutralizing the impact of threats to transportation; to determine effective ways of neutralizing threats. Materials and methods. Various methods were used in the work: content analysis to establish that the target reliability function can be calculated based on various features; comparative analysis to identify such features; mathematical formalization for the formation of a transportation reliability assessment model and the development of a decision-making support system algorithm for neutralizing the impact of threats to transportation; a steep ascent to choose the most expedient transportation options and, in the event of an increased threat, an alternative route option.Research results. A mathematical model for assessing the reliability of water transportation under military threats was developed and an algorithm for the decision-making support system was formed to neutralize the impact of threats to cargo transportation. For this solution, the following tasks were performed: mathematical formalization of the problem was carried out and parameters of influence on the reliability function were selected; influence parameters were analyzed and the most significant of them was determined; the algorithm of the decision-making support system for neutralizing the impact of threats to transportation was developed; defined ways of neutralizing threats.Conclusion. It is indicated that the risks associated with the aggression of the russian federation are absorbing in relation to all other risks. It has been established that due to the dynamic changes in the risks of cargo transportation in the conditions of war, the task arises not only of identifying the magnitude of the risk, but also its rate of change, because identifying the rate of risks change makes it possible to forecast it. It was established that during military operations, the function of reliability becomes the main target function of managing the transportation of goods by water transport. It was established that in the time preceding large-scale hostilities, the main risk is the time of forced delay of ships, therefore the reliability water transportation integral function of goods is inversely proportional to the time of ships delay. Using the developed model, the value of the reliability function and its changes in January 2022 were determined.

29. FORMATION OF ECONOMIC RATIONALITY OF INTERACTION OF ELEMENTS OF THE SYSTEM OF PUBLIC GOVERNANCE OF WATER TRANSPORT IN NEW CONDITIONS

Abstract

Topicality. Significant changes in geopolitical conditions in the Black Sea region, in particular, and the world as a whole leads to a radical redistribution of trade flows, markets. This process causes changes in the market of transport services. There are trends in the ratio of competitiveness of the Black Sea ports. These changes and the accompanying dynamic processes occur in real time. In order for Ukraine's economy to respond appropriately to such dynamic changes, there is an urgent need to establish clear guidelines, unambiguous criteria and formulate proposals to ensure a high degree of adaptability of the public administration system to rapid changes in external and internal conditions.Aim and tasks. The aim of the work is scientific substantiation and development of methodical bases of interaction of elements of system of state management of water transport in new conditions, offer of recommendations of organizational character on increase of adaptability of management process at maintenance of rationality of interaction of all elements of management system. Achieving the goal of the study necessitated the formulation and solution of the following tasks: to propose numerical criteria for the economic rationality of the interaction of the management system; develop a model; to substantiate the algorithm of state management of water transport for its specific field of activity for assessing the levels of efficiency and rationality of management measures.Research results. The paper summarizes the approaches to the formation of the state water transport management system with the appropriate degree of adaptability to rapid changes in external and internal conditions, offers criteria for economic efficiency and rationality of water transport management and justifies their choice, applied analysis of the need for management measures cargo and to increase the efficiency of interaction of adjacent modes of transport.Conclusion. It established that intermodal and multimodal cargo transportation (IMCT) is the most promising area of modernization of transport infrastructure, a tool for operational testing of new routes, a means to enter promising markets for transport services, and a mechanism for creating a new level of competitiveness of water transport in Ukraine.The study established the criteria for the appropriate level of efficiency and rationality of management efforts in the field of water transport. It stated that these criteria should be numerical rather than qualitative for greater objectivity. Criteria of economic efficiency and rationality specified for the field of IMCT. The algorithm of public management of IMCT with proper and relevant assessment of the levels of efficiency and rationality of management measures is offered. The obtained results of the research allow achieving the necessary levels of economic rationality of the interaction of the elements of the system of state management of water transport in the new conditions.

30. FORMATION OF COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES IN THE FIELD OF WATER TRANSPORT, TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND EFFICIENT USE OF TRANSIT POTENTIAL IN THE POST-WAR PERIOD

Abstract

Topicality. The levers and conditions for the formation of competitive advantages in the Black and Azov Seas in the postwar period will be radically changed. This, in turn, will change the routes of traffic flows and their structure, which will inversely affect the level of competitiveness of water transport in Ukraine. This necessitates a detailed study of the problem of formation of competitive advantages in the field of water transport, transport infrastructure and effective use of transit potential in the postwar period. Aim and tasks. Based on the study of the peculiarities of the formation of competitive advantages in the field of water transport, restoration and development of transport infrastructure in the postwar period to propose a strategy for restructuring the transit potential on new, modern principles and develop a set of measures and directions of restructuring and, in such a way as to avoid the problems inherent in water transport in the pre-war period and based on the short-term post-war restructuring, to ensure the long-term development of the water sector, its infrastructure and, with the effective use of transit potential, to form the preconditions for economic development of regions and the country as a whole. Research results. Peculiarities of formation of competitive advantages in the field of water transport, restoration and development of transport infrastructure in the postwar period are investigated, proposed strategy to ensure competitive advantages in the field of water transport for the medium and long term: "not costs but investments". This strategy based on the urgent tasks of post-war restructuring due to the growing level of competitiveness of the water industry of Ukraine should provide the preconditions for long-term development of the water industry, its infrastructure and, with the effective use of transit potential. This should be facilitated by such an orientation of the urgent tasks of recovery of the water sector, in order to further avoid the problems inherent in the pre-war period. A set of measures has proposed to implement this strategy. Conclusion. A strategy for restructuring the transit potential proposed, which provides an opportunity to get rid of the problems that hindered the development of efficient transportation of goods by water transport in the pre-war period. The specified strategy allows to form consequential connection of performance of urgent tasks of branch so that to increase efficiency of performance of tasks of the following stages and as a whole, to promote increase of competitiveness of water transport. To implement the proposed strategy, a set of measures has been developed, which, aimed at solving short-term problems, in strategic terms allow realizing the potential of the industry's competitiveness, which, in turn, will create preconditions for economic development. An example is the proposal to create an information system for maritime risk control and automatic notification in the event of a possible increase in the level of danger, which, in turn, will form the image of a safe level of navigation in previously mined areas. In general, the results of the study can further used both for scientific purposes and for practical purposes.

Abstract

Reliable quantitative vegetation reconstructions for Europe during the Holocene are crucial to improving our understanding of landscape dynamics, making it possible to assess the past effects of environmental variables and land-use change on ecosystems and biodiversity, and mitigating their effects in the future. We present here the most spatially extensive and temporally continuous pollen-based reconstructions of plant cover in Europe (at a spatial resolution of 1 degrees x 1 degrees) over the Holocene (last 11.7 ka BP) using the 'Regional Estimates of VEgetation Abundance from Large Sites' (REVEALS) model. This study has three main aims. First, to present the most accurate and reliable generation of REVEALS reconstructions across Europe so far. This has been achieved by including a larger number of pollen records compared to former analyses, in particular from the Mediterranean area. Second, to discuss methodological issues in the quantification of past land cover by using alternative datasets of relative pollen productivities (RPPs), one of the key input parameters of REVEALS, to test model sensitivity. Finally, to validate our reconstructions with the global forest change dataset. The results suggest that the RPPs.st1 (31 taxa) dataset is best suited to producing regional vegetation cover estimates for Europe. These reconstructions offer a long-term perspective providing unique possibilities to explore spatial-temporal changes in past land cover and biodiversity.

Abstract

Suppose we have $n$ experts who have their prior opinion about the unknown probability $q$ in the experiment with a binary outcome. It is known that experts' opinions are in conflict with each other. To model "conflicting" experts' opinions a prior distribution based on Selberg's integral is constructed. We prove a theorem regarding the limiting properties of the posterior distribution. Also, differential entropy and Kullback-Leibler (KL) divergence of such posterior are studied.

Abstract

Reliable quantitative vegetation reconstructions for Europe during the Holocene are crucial to improving our understanding of landscape dynamics, making it possible to assess the past effects of environmental variables and land-use change on ecosystems and biodiversity, and mitigating their effects in the future. We present here the most spatially extensive and temporally continuous pollen-based reconstructions of plant cover in Europe (at a spatial resolution of 1° × 1°) over the Holocene (last 11.7 ka BP) using the ‘Regional Estimates of VEgetation Abundance from Large Sites’ (REVEALS) model. This study has three main aims. First, to present the most accurate and reliable generation of REVEALS reconstructions across Europe so far. This has been achieved by including a larger number of pollen records compared to former analyses, in particular from the Mediterranean area. 40. The Concept of Training a Doctor of Art from Music Directing

Abstract

The relevance of the research is due to need to train highly qualified professionals in today's sociocultural challenges, able to generate creative ideas in the implementation of creative projects, able to respond quickly to changes in the market of theater services, to be competitive in the fleeting space. Scientific novelty - outlining the concept of formation of professional competencies of the artist in the synthesis of domestic traditions and foreign innovations, taking into account the specifics of the mental perception of works by the Ukrainian audience. Main objectives of the research is the process of preparing a doctor of art in music directing in the context of Ukraine's integration into the European educational and artistic space and to determine the specifics of the integrative educational and creative training of the doctor of art in musical directing in the context of world tendencies of musical theater development. The methodology of the research is the application of a comprehensive intersectoral approach based on the synthesis of systems analysis (the concept of modern directing in a new paradigm of musical theater) and the structural-functional method (algorithm of integrative training of doctors of art in creative graduate school). Findings and conclusion of the research is the influence of globalization and integration processes has affected the paradigm shift of musical and theatrical art in a positive sense - the information exchange of experience; professional growth of artists; application of art technologies; joint solution of urgent problems; in the negative - the dominance of foreign repertoire over domestic with the priority of foreign language content; commercialization of the theater; changes in value orientations; hedonistic orientation of interpretations of works. Factors influencing modern musical directing are the need to find means of expression for adequate perception of the Ukrainian audience of a foreign text; combining the aesthetic and value aspect with the financial and economic content of the play; inadmissibility of vulgarized interpretations of works; mastering the techniques of artistic reconstruction, authentic, modern, art-technological solution of performances; mastering the specifics of dancers, international and festival projects. The concept of training a doctor of art in music directing involves a creative rethinking of global innovative directing practices on domestic soil, taking into account the peculiarities of the Ukrainian mentality, cultural traditions, and achievements of national educational and art schools with gradual integration into Europe.

Abstract

Гликокаликс представляет собой гелеобразный слой, покрывающий поверхность эндотелиальных клеток сосудов. Он состоит из прикрепленных к мембране протеогликанов, гликозаминогликановых цепей, гликопротеинов и адгезивных белков плазмы. Гликокаликс поддерживает гомеостаз сосудистой сети: контролирует проницаемость сосудов и тонус микрососудов, предотвращает микрососудистый тромбоз и регулирует адгезию лейкоцитов. Во время сепсиса гликокаликс разрушается под воздействием воспалительных механизмов, а именно металлопротеиназ, гепараназ и гиалуронидаз. Эти шеддазы активируются активными формами кислорода и провоспалительными цитокинами, такими как фактор некроза опухоли альфа и интерлейкин-1бета. Опосредованное воспалением разрушение гликокаликса приводит к гиперпроницаемости сосудов, нерегулируемой вазодилатации, микрососудистому тромбозу и повышенной адгезии лейкоцитов. Клинические исследования продемонстрировали корреляцию между уровнем компонентов гликокаликса в крови и дисфункцией органов, тяжестью и летальностью при сепсисе. Жидкостная реанимация является неотъемлемой частью лечения сепсиса, но сверхагрессивные методы лечения, приводящие к гиперволемии, могут усиливать разрушение гликокаликса. И наоборот, введение свежезамороженной плазмы и альбумина может ослабить повреждение. Благотворное и пагубное влияние инфузии растворов и плазмы на целостность гликокаликса при сепсисе недостаточно изу­чено; будут проводиться дальнейшие исследования. В этом обзоре: во-первых, проанализированы основные механизмы разрушения гликокаликса при сепсисе; во-вторых, продемонстрировано, как уровни компонентов гликокаликса в крови и моче связаны с результатами лечения пациентов; в-третьих, показано благотворное и пагубное влияние инфузионной терапии на состояние гликокаликса при сепсисе; в-четвертых, представлена концепция предотвращения разрушения гликокаликса как терапевтической цели при сепсисе.

42. DETERMINATION OF INFLUENCE OF COMPETITIVENESS FACTORS ON FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION BY WATER TRANSPORT

Abstract

Topicality. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in the current crisis, which causes significant changes even in traditional economic activities, there are new factors of influence, there are multicollinear groups of factors that increase each other's influence, and these trends are not yet sufficiently disclosed in scientific literature. Therefore, there is an extremely important task, not related to the traditional assessment of the weight of the influence of known factors, but the identification of new factors, finding out the tendency to correlate the influence of two or more factors. This can be critical in making relevant predictions. Aim and tasks. The main purpose of the study is to develop mathematical methods for detection both identified and unidentified at the entrance to the problem factors influencing the competitiveness of water transport. To achieve this goal, the following tasks arose: development of a mathematical formalization of the separation of aperiodic and background effects on the resulting function; creation of formal approaches to the processing of primary data and results obtained using the developed mathematical model to reduce relative error and obtain relevant results. Research results Theoretical and applied provisions of increase of efficiency of cargo transportations by water transport taking into account factors of its competitiveness are investigated. In contrast to traditional approaches, which are based on a previously identified set of factors influencing the resulting function, the task of the study was to develop mathematical methods for detection both identified and unidentified factors influencing the competitiveness of water transport by its types. For this purpose, the original modification of the time series method was used. Using the developed mathematical model, the analysis of volumes of cargo transportation by water transport by its types is carried out. Additional methodological tools were used to adjust the forecast values for the next period of time. The use of the developed approaches indicated their practical value for leveling the background effects of external factors and aperiodic harmonics, which allowed to linearize the study time series, identify groups of influencing factors and specify the most important factors that allow to use the competitive advantages of water transport in Ukraine.Conclusion. Analysis of the results of the study allows us to draw the following conclusions: the presented mathematical model and the proposed methods of formalization allow us to develop using time series and available in the primary data of background and aperiodic harmonics relevant forecast data; the introduction of the developed mathematical model will reveal the impact on the resulting function of the efficiency of freight transportation of factors not identified in the problem. Abstract

Introduction. The article examines current trends in advertising campaigns on the Internet and social networks. Social networks are seen as a tool to influence the target audience and study its benefits, growth, development of companies and expanding market share. Studied the theory of the importance of social networks at the initial levels of small and medium business development, including in connection with the possibility of attracting the necessary financial resources and access to information of various kinds, and in the subsequent stages of development. An analysis of examples of companies whose growth has been largely due to the integration of development strategies through social networks. The medium- and long-term prospects for the development of the advertising industry with the mass introduction of virtual and augmented reality technologies and the expansion of 5G Internet networks were considered. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the reasons for doing business on social networks, analysis of current trends in social networks, assessing the possibility of doing business and building marketing strategies through social networks. Results. The article describes the main trends of advertising on social networks, why is it worth to run advertising campaign on social networks, describes the social network as an advertising tool, how social networks will effectively interact with the target audience and gives examples of successful projects of large companies implemented in social networks. Were reviewed main directions of development and improvement of advertising methods in social networks, how it will happen, what is needed for this and why it is impossible to implement at this stage of development. Listed all the positive aspects that will help increase the efficiency of sales goods and services, as well as the negative aspects with the implementation of these ways. Conclusion. Development of virtual and augmented reality and also 5G techonologies: 1. Significantly increase the perception of advertising; 2. Allows you to process large amounts of information in a short time; 3. Solve the problem of oversaturation with advertising of various sources of information (billboards, newspapers, the Internet); 4. Advertising will become more relevant and timelier; 5. Advertising will become more relevant for the user, which will increase business revenue; 6. Advertising will be less intrusive, which will increase user loyalty to it. In the long run, the amount of data passively collected by technical devices around will increase, which will invariably affect the prospects for marketing development in general. With the expansion of Internet coverage around the world and the increasing availability of technical devices, the number of network users will increase, which will make it easier to interact with the intended target audience, change the ways of advertising and over time social networks will become its main location. Increasing the data collected will increase user loyalty and help make advertising less intrusive and more useful to each potential customer. Given advertising prices and audience reach, businesses will be more focused on developing brands on social media and marketing mostly online.

Abstract

Topicality. The urgency of the study is due to the fact that in Ukraine the volume of cargo transportation using multimodal technologies is growing. Therefore, increasing the efficiency of multimodal transportation using the latest methods of their optimization is timely. This is especially true for those modes of transport whose share in total freight turnover is relatively small. Aim and tasks.The main purpose of the study is to develop theoretical and applied provisions and algorithms for finding the optimal solution for several target functions with different measurement scales to increase the efficiency of multimodal transportation, in particular, with the alternative use of different modes of transport. To achieve this goal, the following tasks arose: to study the impact of the monopolization of the transportation market by certain modes of transport on the reliability and efficiency of transportation; solving the problem of optimization of freight transportation from the national or general industry point of view; study of the importance of the development of inland water transport to increase the efficiency and reliability of multimodal transport; creating an algorithm for finding the optimal solution for several target functions. Research results.Theoretical and applied positions of search of the optimum decision on several target functions with different scale of measurement for increase of efficiency of multimodal transportations, including, at alternative use of different types of transport are investigated. The study proved that the choice of only one of the traditional target functions of transport companies - the cost or time of transportation does not guarantee its effectiveness without assessing the risks of transportation of goods. An algorithm for selecting the optimal solution for several objective functions is proposed. To do this, we used the method of finding the extremum of each of them by its own nontrivial subset. It is proved that these sets, in the general case, are not identical, so to find a solution for several objective functions complicated by their different dimensions, the principle of compromise must be used.The study established a significant degree of monopolization of the transportation market by certain modes of transport and indicated that to solve the problem of optimization of freight transportation from the national or general industry point of view requires equalization of disparities in freight turnover by mode of transport.Conclusion.Analysis of the results of the study allows us to draw the following conclusions: to use the resource to increase the efficiency and reliability of cargo transportation, especially for multimodal transportation technologies, it is necessary to equalize the disproportions of cargo turnover by types of cargo transportation to avoid monopolization of the transport market. To increase the efficiency of transportation, the latest algorithm for selecting the optimal solution for several target functions is proposed. The introduction of this algorithm to optimize multimodal transportation in scientific and practical problems will allow to take into account the risks and find a compromise solution in complex problems of finding solutions for the transportation of goods.

Abstract

Purpose. The study is aimed at optimizing and reducing delays in crisis situations in the operation of decision support systems to eliminate the consequences of pollution of water areas. Methodology. The presented study uses the fundamental provisions of modern science to find the optimal solution in crisis situations. Methods of abstraction and mathematical formalization were used to solve the problem of minimizing the delay time of information packets in providing critical information in conditions of overloading information channels. Findings. It has been proven that a decrease in the volume of losses is possible in the case of effective management of the elimination of pollution, prompt minimization of its consequences. It has been established that the effectiveness of management to minimize the consequences of an accident is determined by the effectiveness of the information system, and largely depends not only on relevant information, but also on the timeliness of its receipt by the subject of decision-making. A mathematical model and an algorithm for optimizing information flows have been created, which provide minimal delays in obtaining information even under conditions of extreme load of the information system. It has been proven that the task of effective management of an information system can be reduced to minimizing the delay in the provision of critical information. As a result of the study, it was found that for a large information system, which includes more than forty subunits and satellite systems, the use of the proposed approach provides a decrease in the response delay to an information request of time, which does not exceed a minute. Originality. To prevent delays in the operation of the information management system for the elimination of pollution of water areas, a scientific and applied approach to optimize the information system is proposed, which uses the theory of graphs and Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm and implements effective management of information flow. A mathematical model and an original algorithm have been developed that allow reducing delays in work and providing a resource utilization factor better than the existing analogues. Practical value. The presented approach will make it possible to increase the efficiency and reliability of information systems for managing technogenic pressure on water areas in crisis situations, reduce the time for providing the necessary information and, thereby, reduce the consequences of pollution and the costs associated with their neutralization. The data obtained in the course of the study are approximated by a polynomial equation, making it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of using the proposed method depending on the number of nodes of the information system and the requirements for limiting the delay time of information.

Abstract

Topicality. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the growing dynamics of marine pollution and power and uneven information flows that accompany the pollution process. This requires the creation of an information-analytical system to support decision-making on effective pollution prevention and elimination. And the creation of such a system, in turn, requires research on the theoretical and applied principles of its formation. Aim and tasks. The main purpose of the study is the development of theoretical and applied provisions on the peculiarities of the formation of information and analytical support of the marine environment from pollution and development of system approaches and mathematical apparatus for designing information transmission channels and ensuring efficient Traffic Engineering. Research results. Theoretical and applied bases of formation of information-analytical maintenance of protection of the marine environment from pollution by ships are investigated. Peculiarities of formation, first of all, connected with the existing branched normative-legal base of protection of water area from pollution are revealed. The mechanisms of pollution and their inherent characteristics of information flows are identified, which requires the use of methods Traffic Engineering. Mathematical formalization is proposed for efficient design of information transmission channels and ensuring efficient Traffic Engineering. An approach to assessing the effectiveness of the information transfer process and as the main criterion in Traffic Engineering for ISMP - resource utilization factor. The algorithm before the design check of the bandwidth of the information system routes under the dynamic variant of information processing is formalized. Conclusion. The presented article investigates the theoretical and applied aspects of the formation of a single information and analytical support for the protection of the marine environment, in particular, those features that are due to the existing regulatory framework and existing pollution mechanisms. Abstract

The relevance of the research lies in the search for a solution to the problem of the plasticchoreographic image of the work, the peculiarities of the interpretation of dance in the process of the formation of the Ukrainian national opera school, taking into account the author's intention, its rethinking in the realities of our time. Scientific novelty lies in the definition of conceptual approaches to the genre-style interpretation of dance scenes in Ukrainian opera in accordance with the theatrical aesthetics of a particular time. The purpose of the publication is to determine the evolutionary modifications of the solution of plastic-choreographic scenes of musical and theatrical works in accordance with the aesthe-tic concepts of different stages of the formation of the Ukrainian national opera school. Research methods. In the context of an integrated intersectoral approach at the junction of philosophy, sociology, psychology, cultural studies, musicology and theatre studies, comparative and art history research methods are chosen as determinants. Their use makes it possible to determine the similarity and difference between genre-style interpretations of dance scenes in accordance with the theatrical aesthetics of a particular time. The main results and conclusions of the study. The article examines the process of formation of dance scenes in the historical context of the development of the Ukrainian opera school. The features of the use of dance at different stages of the formation of the national repertoire in various configurations of the Ukrainian musical theatre from its origins to the present day are outlined. The fundamental principles of the interpretation of dance in Ukrainian opera, laid down in the predecessors of the national musical theatre – old games, a puppet nativity scene, baroque school drama, palace theatres of Ukrainian, Polish, Russian magnates of the era of classicism, are character-rized. The evolutionary modifications of the plastic-choreographic solution of opera performances against the background of the genesis of the Ukrainian musical theatre are analyzed. The well-established key approaches to the interpretation of dance scenes in the Ukrainian opera are determined, mainly the positive role of choreography in solving the musical drama of the performance. The author highlights the differences between Ukrainian opera content and Western European and Russian traditions, where vocals as the personification of a person's soul or the image of a friend, and dance as the embodiment of temptations or the image of an enemy are quite often in opposition to each other. The specificity of the interpretation of dance in the Ukrainian opera through the prism of its historical formation is clarified: from the use of divertissement samples of the times of classicism through illustrative and pictorial eras of romanticism, efficiently expressive epochs of realism and Soviet reality to conventionally symbolic, conventionally abstract in the culture of modernity and postmodernism. Different approaches to the solution of dance in opera performances in evacuation and in the occupied territories with distinction in the East and West of Ukraine have been established. The conceptual approaches of the genre-style interpretation of dance scenes in the Ukrainian opera are revealed in accordance with the theatrical aesthetics of a particular time. Attention is focused on the prospects for the emergence of new genre-stylistic forms with the gravitation of their plastic-choreographic solution to neosyncretism.
