This paper presents the theoretical analysis of neutron transfer mechanism for the reaction 181Ta(18O, 19O) at energies 81.86 and 90.05 MeV in the center of mass system. Numerical solution of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation is used for studying neutron transfer processes. The evolution of the wave function for the neutron from the uppermost occupied single-particle neutron level of the 181Ta nucleus is determined. The dynamics of neutron transfer process is described and the probabilities of occupation of initially unoccupied single-particle neutron levels of the 18O nucleus are determined.

Differential cross sections for the formation of oxygen isotopes in the reaction 18O + 181Ta have been measured at projectile nucleus energy 10 A⋅MeV on the high-resolution magnetic spectrometer MAVR. Theoretical analysis of product yields has been performed in the finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation formalism using the FRESCO code under the assumption of sequential neutron transfer mechanism. The results of calculations are in good agreement with experimental data.

The results of a joint analysis of experimental data (angular distributions for scattering and total reaction cross sections) are presented for the case of the interaction of 6,7Li ions with 28Si nuclei at energies between 7.5 and 32 MeV. The respective calculations were performed on the basis of a deformed potential of the optical model by using the SPI-GENOA code. The energy dependences of the parameters of the macroscopic optical model and the total cross section for the (6,7Li+28Si) reactions were obtained over the energy interval from 7.5 to 32 MeV. The calculated angular distributions and total reaction cross sections are in good agreement with experimental data.

This paper presents new experimental data on the total cross sections of 9Li + 28Si reactions at low energies as well as the analysis of previously obtained data for 6,7Li. Based on a large collection of data (authors' and literature data) we carried out a comparative analysis of the two main experimental interaction cross sections (angular distributions of the differential cross sections and total reaction cross sections) for weakly bound lithium (6-9Li, 11Li) nuclei in the framework of Kox parameterization and the macroscopic optical model. We identified specific features of these interactions and predicted the experimental trend in the total reaction cross sections for Li isotopes at energies close to the Coulomb barrier.
