The article considers the problems of adaptation of existing and development of new diagnostic algorithms and methods of remote monitoring of the physiological state of a person in relation to the Internet of Things technology. In order to reduce the energy consumption of the wearable unit and biomedical signal sensors, reduce the redundancy of the recorded and transmitted diagnostic information, the critical situation recognition process is divided into two stages. At the first stage, the main indicators (heart rate and human fall signal) are monitored. If they do not comply with the norm, additional signals are analyzed (the second stage) to confirm the critical situa tion and determine the degree of alarm.

The article presents the results of experimental studies of the wetting angle of the tooth surface after treatment in the plasma of a dielectric barrier discharge at atmospheric pressure. Measurements of the dependence of the length of the plasma torch and the temperature of the treatment object on the flow rate of the working gas have been carried out. Argon was used as a working gas. The research revealed the possibility to change the length of the plasma torch in the range from 9 mm to more than 25 mm and showed that the temperature of the treated tooth surface with an increase in flow rate from 40 degrees Celsius falls to 32 degrees Celsius. The distilled water wetting angle was determined by the lying drop method. Depending on the processing time, a decrease in the contact angle of the tooth surface wetting from the initial 77 to 20 degrees was observed. The modes of operation of the plasma generator in tooth surface treatment, which provide the best indicators of its wettability, have been determined.

The authors developed an infrared (IR) cabin with biotechnical feedback, which solves the problems of increasing the efficiency and safety of IR heating procedure. The target audience for the developed IR cabin includes two groups: 1) young people who embrace an active lifestyle (using the IR cabin for health purposes); 2) mature and elderly people, including those with cardiovascular diseases (using the IR cabin for therapeutic purposes). The research conducted determines the effective mode of infrared radiation exposure to a human body. To assess the effectiveness of exposure the authors propose a coefficient equal to the ratio of weight loss of the user to the maximum operating temperature in the infrared cabin at body level. It is established that a person experiences effective heating at the working temperature of air inside the IR cabin (at body level) in the range from 40 to 42 °C. This temperature regime already contributes to intense sweating, but does not yet lead to discomfort and undesirable load on the cardiovascular system. The beginning of the IR heating should be considered the moment when the IR cabin reaches the operating temperature of 40 °C. Based on the monitoring of indicators of the thermal conditions of the IR cabin, it is necessary to automatically maintain the temperature range from 40 to 42 °C during IR heating. Control of the user's physiological parameters during IR therapy and automatic correction of the power of IR radiators will make the IR heating procedure safe for users. The developed IR cabin can be used in health resort and healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

The results of research the surface of single-crystal silicon, glass, and stainless steel after processing in a plasma at atmospheric pressure are presented. It has been experimentally proved that after processing, the adhesive properties of the surface of materials are significantly improved.

The methodical and hardware-software on the basis of processing and analysis of speech signals for operative and objective diagnostics of neurological pathologies accompanied by speech function disorders are offered. The testing of developed methodological and software tools was carried out on the basis of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Healthcare of Belarus and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The results of testing revealed qualitative (based on the obtained spectrogram, kepstrogram, histogram) and quantitative (based on calculated parameters) differences between the parameters of speech signals in normal and bulbar syndrome. Preliminary results of the research confirmed the feasibility of using the methodological and hardware-software for registration and processing speech signals for diagnosis of neurological diseases.

Статья посвящена эксперименту по количественной оценке анальгетического эффекта при сочетанном воздействии электростимуляции и ударно-фрикционного массажа. Электростимуляция является значимым видом терапии, однако имеются существенные ограничения по субъективным болевым ощущениям пациента. Ударно-фрикционное воздействие массажера может послужить альтернативой принятой лекарственной анальгезии.

Experimental complex for the investigation of the interaction process of rotating electrode blade and human skin imitator makes it possible to carry out experiments of EMS and mechanical massage combined influence without the use of humans. That allows to investigate such interactions on wider range of electrical and mechanical influences.

The experimental complex of apparatus of electrical stimulation with combination of active electrode vibration of original design is developed. It has a possibility to use various mechanical and electrical parameters of vibration influence and electrical stimulation. It’s possibile to apply various directions of vibrations to an active electrical stimulation electrode. It’s shown that use of vibration-combined electrical stimulation procedure has an advantage in efficiency over traditional non-vibrating regime of procedure. Moreover, percussive-frictional mode is superior due to opportunities it has to change the modes of action.

The device has been developed to restore the human body functional state. The device provides the effect of low intensity infrared (IR) radiation. It is a closed cabin with door, air ventilation system, IR sources, reflectors to protect a person's head, sensors of temperature and humidity, timer. Infrared cabin increases the efficiency of IR heating of human body through the use of the primarily near infrared range emitters. The advantages are also the lack of excessive heat load on the cardiovascular system and minimize energy costs.

An approach and hardware-software set to address parameters of electrical influence on sinocarotid reflexogenous zones have been developed. Exposure represents a flow of electrical pulses affecting transcutaneously reflexogenous zones for optimal hemodynamics, and lower blood pressure in particular.

The article is devoted to the problem of the analysis of person motion pattern stability. The estimation of person motion pattern variability on the basis of electrophysiological and biomechanical parameters of movement has been offered. Such approach allows defining stability of the motion action result without dependence from the movement force, but in consideration of level of the muscles participation and level of the movement phases importance. Investigation of the person motion pattern variability for the test movement has been executed.

The relation between the presence of latent epileptiform process and the change of the instantaneous parameters of the signals of the electroencephalogram is established in the work. The analysis of statistical estimations of instantaneous parameters of signals of multichannel electroencephalogram of healthy subjects and patients with epilepsy is carried out. The most informative frequency range of electroencephalogram rhythms is defined. Information and meaningful statistical evaluation of the instantaneous parameters areproposed. The obtained practical results can be used to create a new method for detecting a hidden epileptiform process.

The effective approach to the estimation of athletes coordination abilities based on the reproducibility analysis of the electromyographic patterns of motion tests under the influence of external destabilizing factors is proposed. The following factors are chosen as external perturbing ones: disabling the visual and disabling the sound analyzer of a person. Two coefficients for the quantitative estimation of influence of the visual and sound analyzer on the stability of reproduction of movements with a complex coordination structure are introduced. The recommendations on the practical use of the research results for young athletes are given.

The article is devoted to the investigation of the possibility of immobilized on the surface of the titanium implantable devices (model plates, “U-shaped” brackets) antimicrobial substances.Material and methods. The object of research were modeling titanium plates and titanium “U-shaped” brackets for implantation. Ciprofloxacin, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and methylcellulose has been proposed as materials for the creation of antimicrobial pharmaceutical composition to immobilization. The antimicrobial properties of titanium implantable “U-shaped” brackets with ciprofloxacin was evaluated for potential antimicrobial activity against medically important bacterial (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, E. faecalis and S. pyogenes) using method of diffusion in agar. Results. The results showed the possibility of putting and holding а ciprofloxacin in grooves on the modified surface of titanium implants. In the course of the study was developed a pharmaceutical composition, comprising ciprofloxacin and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. The results showed high antimicrobial activity of pharmaceutical composition with ciprofloxacin against the test organisms (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, E. faecalis and S. pyogenes).

Concept of a new generation of physiotherapeutic complexes is analyzed. The requirements for the database for them are formulated. List of problems that should be addressed to create such complexes is given.

The article is devoted to development of the algorithm of correction of the person motion pattern by modification of distribution of involved muscles efforts on phases of movement by means of complex electroand mechanotherapy and the control of results on the basis of construction of the electromyography pattern of movement.

Medulloblastoma (MB) is the most common malignant tumor of the central nervous system in pediatric patients. Despite the complex anticancer therapy approach, refractory and relapsing forms of the disease remain fatal in most cases and account for approximately 30%. To date, repeated surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy can be used as life-prolonging treatment options; nevertheless, it should be emphasized that there are no standardized approaches based on existing data of molecular variants of MB. It is obvious that only a deep understanding of the biological mechanisms in association with clinical aspects in refractory and relapsing forms of MB would make it possible to personalize second- and subsequent-line therapy in order to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize early and long-term toxicity. The article presents the current understanding of prognostic factors in relapsed/refractory forms of MB, methods of modern diagnostics, as well as existing and perspective treatment options based on the biological and clinical aspects of the disease.

The aim of the present study was to compare genotoxicity induced by high- versus very low dose-rate exposure of mice to γ-radiation within a dose range of 5 to 61 cGy using the single-cell gel electrophoresis (comet) assay and the micronucleus test. CBA/lac male mice were irradiated at a dose rate of 28.2 Gy/h (high dose rate) or 0.07 mGy/h (very low dose rate). The comet assay study on spleen lymphocytes showed that very low dose-rate irradiation resulted in a statistically significant increase in nucleoid relaxation (DNA breaks), starting from a dose of 20 cGy. Further prolongation of exposure time and, hence, increase of a total dose did not, however, lead to further increase in the extent of nucleoid relaxation. Doses of 20 and 61 cGy were equal in inducing DNA breaks in mouse spleen lymphocytes as assayed by the comet assay. Of note, the level of DNA damage by 20–61 cGy doses of chronic irradiation (0.07 mGy/h) was similar to that an induced by an acute (28.2 Gy/h) dose of 14 cGy. The bone marrow micronucleus test revealed that an increase in polychromatic erythrocytes with micronuclei over a background level was induced by very low-level γ-irradiation with a dose of 61 cGy only, with the extent of the cytogenetic effect being similar to that of 10 cGy high-dose-rate exposure. In summary, presented results support the hypothesis of the nonlinear threshold nature of mutagenic action of chronic low dose-rate irradiation.

The effects of low-dose radiation exposure remain a controversial topic in radiation biology. This study compares early (0.5, 4, 24, 48, and 72 h) and late (5, 10, and 15 cell passages) post-irradiation changes in γH2AX, 53BP1, pATM, and p-p53 (Ser-15) foci, proliferation, autophagy, and senescence in primary fibroblasts exposed to 100 and 2000 mGy X-ray radiation. The results show that exposure to 100 mGy significantly increased γH2AX, 53BP1, and pATM foci only at 0.5 and 4 h post irradiation. There were no changes in p-p53 (Ser-15) foci, proliferation, autophagy, or senescence up to 15 passages post irradiation at the low dose.

An efficient access to the novel 5-(aryl)amino-1,2,3-triazole-containing 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole derivatives has been developed. The method is based on 1,3-dipolar azide–nitrile cycloaddition followed by Buchwald–Hartwig cross-coupling to afford the corresponding N-aryl and N,N-diaryl substituted 5-amino-1,2,3-triazolyl 2,1,3-benzothiadiazoles under NHC-Pd catalysis. The one-pot diarylative Pd-catalyzed heterocyclization opens the straightforward route to triazole-linked carbazole-benzothiadiazole D-A systems. The optical and electrochemical properties of the compound obtained were investigated to estimate their potential application as emissive layers in OLED devises. The quantum yield of photoluminescence (PLQY) of the synthesized D-A derivatives depends to a large extent on electron-donating strengths of donor (D) component, reaching in some cases the values closed to 100%. Based on the most photoactive derivative and wide bandgap host material mCP, a light-emitting layer of OLED was made. The device showed a maximum brightness of 8000 cd/m2 at an applied voltage of 18 V. The maximum current efficiency of the device reaches a value of 3.29 cd/A.

An efficient method of accessing new CF3-containing spiro-[indene-proline] derivatives has been developed based on a Cp*Rh(III)-catalyzed tandem C-H activation/[3+2]–annulation reaction of 5-aryl-2-(trifluoromethyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrrole-2-carboxylates with alkynes. An important feature of this spiro annulation process is the feasibility of dehydroproline moiety to act as a directing group in the selective activation of the aromatic C-H bond.
