Aim. To develop a model for calculating the risk of venous thrombosis, taking into account the presence of known risk factors, comorbidity and congenital thrombophilia.Material and methods. During the study (2015 to 2017), 79 patients with venous thrombosis were examined (36 men and 43 women, mean age — 56,76±15,570). The control group consisted of 83 patients and healthy volunteers without thrombosis at the moment and in history (35 men and 48 women, average age — 43,95±18,136). All individuals included in the study were analyzed for the presence of G1691A mutations in the factor V gene, G20210A in the prothrombin gene, C677T polymorphism in the 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene, and polymorphism in the SERPINE1 gene of plasminogen activator inhibitor. Real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to identify mutations. To create a risk calculation model, a linear regression analysis was performed.Results. We have developed a model for calculating the risk of venous thrombosis. The resulting formula showed high prognostic accuracy (the area under the ROC curve is 95,9%). For patients who do not have data on the presence of these mutations, a short version of the risk calculation model was developed (the area under the ROC curve is 94,6%).Conclusion. We have developed a risk calculation model taking into account the presence of known risk factors, congenital thrombophilia and comorbidities. Thromboprophylaxis is necessary in >0,45 individual risk, which corresponds to a high risk of developing venous thrombosis. Patients who have not previously been diagnosed with thrombophilia and are in the middle risk group for venous thrombosis, according to a short version of the model, must be screened for congenital thrombophilia to clarify the risk.

More than half a century ago, clinicians first encountered real difficulties in the treatment of infectious diseases due to the development and subsequent spread of pathogens with antimicrobial resistance (AMP). Since then, medical science has been constantly searching for a solution to the problem of ineffective antibacterial therapy (ABT) against a background of rapidly changing sensitivity of microorganisms to antibiotics. One of the medications which could compromise the most common mechanisms of pathogenic resistance is amoxicillin in combination with clavulanic acid. Despite its long-term use, the drug is becoming increasingly relevant for ABT of respiratory bacterial infections today, justifying the trust of doctors and patients with its long history of effective and safe use. The review tells about indications for amoxicillin/clavulanic acid with regard to the most widespread pediatric infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract and the ENT organs in outpatient settings.

Advancements in fluoroquinolones (FQ) resulted in the development of the so-called respiratory quinolones which are different from their predecessors in having a stronger clinically significant effect against gram-positive pathogens of relevant human infections. Broad antibacterial spectrum, resistance to certain factors of pathogen resistance and absence of cross-resistance formation, along with their unique pharmacokinetic characteristics, made respiratory FQ the drug of choice for quite a wide range of diseases, including in outpatient clinical practice. The review presents the results of epidemiological observations and qualitative clinical trials demonstrating the efficacy of levofloxacin in the treatment of respiratory tract infections (RTI), urinary tract infection (UTI), infections of skin and soft tissues (ISST).

The review continues the publication series devoted to well-known "classical" antimicrobial drugs the application of which in clinical practice takes on a new meaning in light of the striving to limit the globally increasing resistance of infectious diseases to antibiotics. For example, doxycycline is indicated for still relevant sexually transmitted infections, pelvic inflammatory diseases, lower respiratory tract infections, some skin infections and periodontitis. Antibiotic drug remains crucial in addressing the complex issues of prevention and treatment of a number of zoonotic diseases (including special danger infections) and vector-borne diseases, making it a strategic product for healthcare.

A novel kind of acoustic metamaterials (AMMs) with unit cells composed of two layers made of dissimilar materials with a crack-like void situated at the interface between bars is considered. Recently, the authors showed numerically that this novel kind of AMMs can provide unidirectional propagation of guided waves. Several AMM specimens (the finite stack of periodic elastic layers with and without voids) have been manufactured using additive manufacturing techniques and regular gluing. The details of the manufacturing process are discussed. In the experiment, the elastic waves have been excited by a rectangular piezoelectric wafer active transducer bonded at the surface of the specimen. Vibrations of the opposite side of the AMM specimen are measured via a piezoelectric sensor. The band gaps are observed in the experiment and values of their width and location correlate with numerically predicted ones.

- Abstract
Issues of protection of the atmospheric air are among the priority ones for the state. However, operations of companies in certain production sectors, which inter alia include the fuel and energy complex (FEC), are directly associated with the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. A permit allocation experiment has been approved within the framework of the Clean Air federal project but the experiment performance procedure has a number of gaps making it impossible to efficiently reduce the pollutant emission volume. The author has studied the main problems on the example of the FEC, in particular, heat supply and generating companies. The impossibility of permit-regulated companies to dispose of permits including by way of redistribution may lead to serious consequences for both the environmental and energy security of the country. The solution proposed by the author is introduction in the applicable laws of the mechanism of redistribution (offset) of pollutant emission permits, which will allow to drastically reduce the atmospheric air pollution level in large industrial centers.

- Abstract
The article offers a complex approach to determination of long-term trends of quantitative indicators of safety of flights of helicopters Mi-8MSB-V and Mi-8MT (MTV) and influence on them of operational reliability. The integrated approach is to determine the impact of the failure of the functional systems of helicopters on operational reliability and flight safety: average failure rate, mean failure rate, probability of helicopter flight reliability in one hour, Average aircraft accident, probability of absence. Proposals have been developed to improve the reliability and safety of helicopter flights based on information about the technical condition during military operation, which will allow adjusting the terms of maintenance, repair, extending the service life and provide for areas for upgrading aviation equipment. In order to take into account objectively the impact of helicopter systems on the reliability and safety of aircraft equipment flights, information on the flight hours of aircraft equipment should be provided, taking into account the level of functional systems upgrade. Recommendations for improving flight safety and reliability of elements of helicopter systems limiting the reliability of aviation equipment are given.

Cohesive and adhesive bindings degrade during operation and maintenance even if contacting materials in a manufactured laminated structure are perfectly matched at the interfaces. Two modelling approaches for describing partially closed delaminations or imperfect contact zones, which often occurs at the interfaces, are examined and considered. To confirm the adequateness of the applicability of the effective spring boundary conditions for guided wave scattering by a finite length delamination, guided wave propagation through a damaged zone with a distribution of micro-cracks is compared with an equivalent cohesive zone model, where the spring stiffnesses for the effective boundary conditions are calculated using the properties of the considered crack distribution. Two kinds of local interfacial decohesion zones with an imperfect contact at the interfaces are considered: uniform partially closed delaminations and bridged cracks. The possibility of the employment of the effective spring boundary conditions to substitute a distribution of micro-cracks is analysed and discussed. Two algorithms of generation of a distribution of open micro-cracks providing characteristics equivalent to the effective boundary conditions are presented and examined. The influence of the characteristics of a delamination on wave characteristics (eigenfrequencies, eigenforms, transmission coefficient) is investigated for several kinds of partially closed delaminations.

The Lygaeoidea comprise about 4660 species in 790 genera and 16 families. Using standard chromosome staining and FISH with 18S rDNA and telomeric (TTAGG)n probes, we studied male karyotypes and meiosis in 10 species of Lygaeoidea belonging to eight genera of the families Blissidae, Cymidae, Heterogastridae, Lygaeidae, and Rhyparochromidae. Chromosome numbers were shown to range from 12 to 28, with 2n = 14 being predominant. All species have an XY system and all but one have a pair of m-chromosomes. The exception is Spilostethus saxatilis (Lygaeidae: Lygaeinae); in another species of Lygaeinae, Thunbergia floridulus, m-chromosomes were present, which represents the first finding for this subfamily. All species have an inverted sequence of sex chromosome divisions (“post-reduction”). The 18S rDNA loci were observed on one or both sex chromosomes in Kleidocerys resedae and Th. floridulus, respectively (Lygaeidae), while on an autosomal bivalent in all other species. The rDNA loci tended to be close to the end of the chromosome. Using (TTAGG)n—FISH, we were able to show for the first time that the Lygaeoidea lack the canonical “insect” telomere motif (TTAGG)n. We speculate that this ancestral motif is absent from the entire infraorder Pentatomomorpha being replaced by some other telomere repeat motif sequences.

- Abstract
Research on the development of the recipe and technology of potable kissels containing native biologically active substances through the use of rosehip fruits is presented. Five variants of new products from fresh and dried rosehips with the addition of sugar, potato starch, xanthan gum and citric acid were analyzed. It was found that the potable kissels containing at least 21.5 % fresh or 5.37 % dried rosehip fruits were the most appealing. The use of mechanoacoustic equipment in the manufacture of kissels leads to physical and chemical changes in the raw materials (partial destruction of the cell walls, the formation of new coloring substances, etc.), which positively affects the formation of organoleptic characteristics of new products, as well as reduces the technological operations of production and inhibits microorganisms. The consumption of 200 cm3 of new products provides the human body with at least 62% of the daily requirement for ascorbic acid and at least 66 % for β-carotene, as well as dietary fiber of at least 0.6 g and 11 mg of phenolic substances. The shelf life of rosehip potable kissels is 12 months in glass jars at 25 ° C and relative humidity of 75 % or higher and in a place protected from direct sunlight. On the basis of this research, normative and technical documentation for potable rosehip kissels was developed.

Unidirectional nonreciprocal wave propagation is an unprecedented phenomenon, which has attracted much research interest. Connecting a phononic crystal with an asymmetric structure to break the spatial inversion symmetry is a popular manner to realize this phenomenon using the wave mode transformation. In this paper, a new model is proposed based on a single periodic structure. The arrays of asymmetric and symmetric interfacial delaminations are intentionally introduced into the top and the bottom part of a stack of periodic elastic layers, respectively. So, the structural spatial inversion symmetry can be broken and the guided waves can pass through the whole structure only from the top side with the changed mode generated by the array of asymmetric interfacial delaminations. Thus, it is indispensable for the part of phononic crystal that the partial band-gaps of symmetric and antisymmetric guided waves have to be separated, which is the reason why we introduce the array of symmetric central or side interfacial delaminations into the stack of periodic elastic layers. The transmission spectra of the guided waves and the dispersion curves for the unit cell imposed by the Bloch–Floquet boundary condition are both calculated by the spectral element method. Then, the interfacial delamination-induced unidirectional propagation of guided waves in the finite stack of periodic elastic layers is numerically confirmed. This paper provides a new concept to control the waves propagating in phononic crystals via the insertion of some interfacial delaminations or cracks.

- Abstract
The paper proposes an integrated approach to determining long-term trends in quantitative indicators of reliability of Mi-8MSB-V and Mi-8MT(MTV) helicopter systems by specialty and their impact on the operational reliability of helicopters. An integrated approach consists in determining the impact of the reliability of helicopter systems on the operational performance of helicopters: the mean time between failures, the average failure rate parameter, the probability of helicopter flight reliability per hour, and the maximum allowable indicative levels of helicopter reliability indicators. The reliability of functional systems for helicopter specialties was determined: helicopter and engine, aviation armament, aviation equipment, radio-electronic equipment based on statistical data on helicopter malfunctions for the period between 2017 and 2021. Proposals have been developed to determine the maximum allowable indicative levels of helicopter reliability indicators based on information about the technical condition during military operation, which will allow adjusting the terms of maintenance, repair, life extension and provide for areas for the modernization of aviation equipment. For an in-depth analysis of the causes of malfunctions and the development of recommendations for their elimination, it is necessary to supplement the information provided in the fault record sheets with information on the number of aircraft, the flight time of which takes into account the developed recommendations for improving the system for collecting operational information on the reliability of the aircraft and its reflection in the fault record sheets. In order to objectively take into account, the impact of aviation armament on the reliability of helicopter engines, it is necessary to provide information on the helicopters flight time using the functional systems of aviation armament. Recommendations are given to improve the reliability of the least reliable elements of helicopter systems.

The composition of carboxymethylcellulose–dioxydine was obtained and its structural, morphological and rheological characteristics in the processes of heat treatment and chemical hydrolysis were studied. Using IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and viscometry, it has been established that the introduction of dioxidine into a solution of carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt with different molecular weights leads to partial disordering of hydrogen bonds between macromolecules, promotes thermal destruction of the polysaccharide and a decrease in the dynamic viscosity of solutions. Experimental kinetic curves of carboxymethylcellulose hydrolysis in the presence and absence of dioxidine were obtained, and it was shown that they could be described using a first-order equation. The hydrolysis rate coefficients were calculated, and it was shown that, as a result of heat treatment, as well as in the presence of an active substance, the rate of carboxymethylcellulose hydrolysis increased. The change in the rheological properties of carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt solutions with different degrees of polymerization in the presence of an antimicrobial substance should be taken into account when choosing the composition of viscous prolonged forms of biologically active substances.

An effective sorption material for cesium radionuclides immobilization in highly safe and reliable solid-state matrices was proposed. Prepared aluminosilicate (КAlSi3O8) adsorbent had amorphous mesoporous structure and Cs+ ions sorption capacity of ∼3.7 mmol/g. The physical-chemical characteristics of (Cs, К)AlSi3O8 sample saturated with Cs + ions were studied using XRD, FT-IR, SEM-EDX, and DTA-TG methods. Firstly, solid-state aluminosilicate matrices were obtained using spark plasma sintering (SPS) technology with high values of relative density (up to 99.9%), compressive strength (31.3–79.2 MPa), and Vickers microhardness (0.9–5.3 GPa). The sample obtained at 1000 °C had a low value of Cs+ leaching from matrices (RCs within the range of 10-7 g cm-2·day-1) and cesium diffusion coefficient (De 9.07 × 10-14 cm2/s). It was shown that prepared aluminosilicate cesium matrices comply with regulatory requirements of GOST R 50926-96 and ANSI/ANS 16.1.

The properties of zirconium ceramics can be improved by combination with calcium phosphate compounds, which impart bioactivity to the bioinert material. The effect of Ta2O5 on some properties of ceramics was studied. Tantalum oxide doping increases the radiopacity of calcium phosphate zirconium ceramics, but deteriorates the mechanical and bioactive properties. This ceramics can be proposed as a material for replacing bone tissue defects. The material was shown to have sufficient strength, radiopacity, and developed microrelief and to contain a bioactive phase. The obtained materials meet conditions necessary for the replacement therapy. The method can be used to produce a material with specified characteristics for the manufacture of individual implants.

In the present study, an original spark plasma sintering-reactive synthesis (SPS-RS) method for mineral-like ceramic materials based on SrAl2Si2O8 feldspar-like skeleton structure was used for the first time, promising solid-state matrices for reliable immobilization of high-energy 90Sr. The method is based on the “in-situ” reaction of a mixture of SrO, Al2O3 and SiO2 oxides when heated by a unipolar pulsed current under compacting pressure. The phase and elemental composition structure were studied. The dynamics of the consolidation of the reaction mixture of oxides was studied in the range of 900–1200 °C. The study found the temperature of the high-speed (minutes) SPS-RS formation of single-phase SrAl2Si2O8 composition ceramic in the absence of intermediate reaction products with a relative density of up to 99.2% and compressive strength up to 145 MPa and a strontium leaching rate of 10−4g/cm2·day.

Introduction. Fluorescence is one of the most promising methods of food quality tests. Fluorescein disodium salt is used as a means of diagnostics in medicine and food production. In particular, fluorophore can determine the ripening stage of boneless turkey meat during brining by defining the penetration depth of the brine. Study objects and methods. The present research featured samples of brined turkey breast and thigh meat. The experiment was based on standard research methods, e.g. macro- and microscopy, statistical method, etc. It also included an original fluorescence method for determining the penetration depth of sodium chloride brine into turkey muscles. Results and discussion. The experimental brine consisted of food salt, white sugar, water, and fluorescein disodium salt, while brine without fluorophore served as control. Regardless of sodium chloride concentration, the changes in the ripening depth of the turkey breast samples were 8 times lower after 5 min, 3 times – after 12 h, and 4 times after 24 h. Complete ripening occurred after 36 h, which was confirmed by visual and fluorophore measurements. The thigh meat samples showed a smaller area of sodium chloride penetration: 8 times lower – after 5 min, 2 times – after 12 and 24 h. Complete salting was also registered after 36 h of brining. Conclusion. The fluorescence method proved quite effective in determining the ripening of boneless turkey parts meat.

The lace bug family Tingidae comprises more than 2600 described species in 318 genera that are classified into the subfamilies Tinginae (about 2500 species and 300 genera), Cantacaderinae, and Vianadinae. We provide data on karyotypes of 16 species belonging to 10 genera of the tribes Tingini and Acalyptaini (Tinginae) studied using conventional chromosome staining and FISH. The species of Tingini possess 2n = 12A + XY, whereas those of Acalyptaini have 2n = 12A + X(0). FISH for 18S rDNA revealed hybridization signals on one of the medium-sized bivalents in species of both tribes. FISH with a telomeric probe TTAGG produced no signals in any species. In addition, we provide a list of all data obtained to date on Tingidae karyotypes, which includes 60 species from 22 genera of Tinginae. The subfamily is highly conservative in relation to the number and size of autosomes, whereas it shows diversity in the number and chromosomal distribution of the rDNA arrays, which may be located either on a pair of autosomes (the predominant and supposedly ancestral pattern), on one or both sex chromosomes, or on an autosome pair and the X. The absence of the “insect” telomeric sequence TTAGG in all species implies that Tinginae have some other, yet unknown, telomere organization.

A conceptual approach to predicting of aircraft no-failure indicators during operational use is proposed. This approach is based on the use of methods of statistical analysis of operational data for a certain period of time. The results of predicting the failure flow parameter using a combined model of acceptable level and their standard deviation are presented. The results of predicting can be used to control the reliability (no-failure operation) of aircraft equipment in order to make grounded decisions about the continued operation of their equipment beyond the established life service. In order to create highly reliable aircraft it is necessary to predict failure rates, which involves the establishment of their range and quantitative values. To predict the thresholds of failure of the aircraft, it is advisable to use the following interval indicators of reliability: Ricao “accident level” indicator, which takes into account the number of flight failures detected in 100 hours and actually determines the dynamics of changes in the level of flight safety; “failure flow parameter, ω (t)”, which takes into account the total number of failures per hour of flight and determines the dynamics of changes in the level of operational The predicted value of the indicator of the “reliability upper control limit”, which determines the limit level of operatioanl reliability, at which further reliable operation of the aircraft is not desirable. According to the concept of “acceptable level of safety performance”, predictions of indicators for three levels of flight safety (acceptable, target, critical) are calculated, which need to be monitored in future periods of aircraft operation and make certain management decisions according to the proposed algorithm. The results of calculation for prediction indicators of reliability for specific types of aircraft according to their operation in the period 2017-2019 are presented.

One of the main requirements for the strategy of the efficient development of modern radiation technologies and nuclear power engineering is the safety of using nuclear raw materials and handling its spent forms as radioactive waste. In this work, a method of spark plasma sintering-reactive synthesis of ceramic materials based on SrTiO3 with a perovskite-like structure was implemented for the first time. Such materials are in demand as promising solid matrices for the reliable and safe immobilization of the high-energy radionuclide strontium-90. The method is based on the in situ reactive interaction of a mixture of SrO and TiO2 oxides during heating by unipolar pulse current under the pressing pressure. The phase and elemental compositions, structure, and consolidation dynamics of the reaction mixture of oxides in the temperature range 900–1200°C were studied by X-ray powder diffraction analysis and scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The temperature was determined for the high-rate (several minutes long) formation of a ceramic of the single-phase SrTiO3 composition with a relative density of up to 95.6%, a Vickers microhardness of up to 1010 HV, a compressive strength of up to 283 MPa, and a strontium leaching rate in the range of 10–6–10–7 g/(cm2 day).

In the present study, the scattering of plane elastic waves by multiple periodic arrays of interface strip-like cracks is investigated. The boundary-value problem is solved using the boundary integral equation method. The convergence of the proposed method is demonstrated for both multiple cracks and multiple periodic arrays of cracks. It is shown that the introduction of periodic arrays of strip-like interface cracks into a layered periodic structure leads to the formation of additional band-gaps in frequency ranges corresponding to pass-bands for the same structure without cracks. The influences of the positions of cracks and their widths on wave transmission through the layered phononic crystal with cracks are studied and compared for several lattices. It is revealed that the introduction of interface cracks may lead to the formation of extra band-gaps and pass-bands. Also, the effects of wave localization and the resonance scattering are investigated for a better understanding of the revealed wave phenomena.

In this paper, we consider the scatter of the laminar flame front velocities caused both by an error in the composition of the combustible mixture and by artificial initial disturbances. It is shown how the configuration of the initial perturbations of an initially flat front of a laminar flame in a gas mixture with the constant composition affects the velocity spread of expanding spherical flames. The effect of the error in the composition of the combustible mixture on the parameters that determine the flame front velocity was analyzed from the literature data on the spread of the flame propagation velocity. These parameters were recalculated for the possible variation in the mixture composition obtained based on the data on the accuracy of the equipment used in the experiments.

Detonation propagation, re-initiation, and flame propagation in acetylene–air mixtures were investigated in a channel with a transverse dimension that is comparable with the width of the detonation cell. Experiments were carried out in a channel with a square cross-section of 5 mm $$\times $$ 5 mm. The detonation wave passed from the driver section into the transparent test section. The trajectories of the propagation of glowing combustion products (high-speed image sequences) were recorded, and high-speed schlieren image sequences of the reaction zone and shock waves were obtained. The flame front velocity was measured. The intensity of the shock waves was measured with piezoelectric pressure transducers. Depending on the equivalence ratio ER, four modes of combustion propagation were detected: (1) steady detonation; (2) decay and re-initiation of detonation; (3) detonation decay and flame acceleration; and (4) detonation decay and the absence of flame acceleration. Quantitative evaluation of the boundary layer thickness was carried out. The intensity of the shock wave and the flame front velocity were analysed for different modes. It was shown that the re-initiation of detonation in a mixture of acetylene and air with $$\text {ER} = 1.6$$ is characterized by a spatial interval of $$1000\pm 50$$ mm and a time interval of $$1300\pm 100~\upmu \hbox {s}$$ .

The purpose of these studies is to develop an effective structure and internal functional blocks of a digital computing device – an adder, that performs addition and subtraction operations on floating- point numbers presented in IEEE Std 754TM-2008 format. To improve the characteristics of the adder, the circuit uses conveying, that is, division into levels, each of which performs a specific action on numbers. This allows you to perform addition / subtraction operations on several numbers at the same time, which increas- es the performance of calculations, and also makes the adder suitable for use in modern synchronous cir- cuits. Each block of the conveyor structure of the adder on FPGA is synthesized as a separate project of a digital functional unit, and thus, the overall task is divided into separate subtasks, which facilitates experi- mental testing and phased debugging of the entire device. Experimental studies were performed using EDA Quartus II. The developed circuit was modeled on FPGAs of the Stratix III and Cyclone III family. An ana- logue of the developed circuit was a functionally similar device from Altera. A comparative analysis is made and reasoned conclusions are drawn that the performance improvement is achieved due to the conveyor structure of the adder. Implementation of arithmetic over the floating-point numbers on programmable logic integrated cir- cuits, in particular on FPGA, has such advantages as flexibility of use and low production costs, and also provides the opportunity to solve problems for which there are no ready-made solutions in the form of stand- ard devices presented on the market. The developed adder has a wide scope, since most modern computing devices need to process floating-point numbers. The proposed conveyor model of the adder is quite simple to implement on the FPGA and can be an alternative to using built-in multipliers and processor cores in cases where the complex functionality of these devices is redundant for a specific task.

The periodical cicadas of the genus Magicicada Davis, 1925 inhabiting eastern United States are characterized by a long juvenile period of 17 or 13 years and periodical mass emergence of adults. In this genus, only seven species are distinguished and are distributed into three species groups, Decim, Cassini and Decula. We performed comparative cytogenetic study of all seven Magicicada species, and 6 of them were explored for the first time. The techniques used included standard chromosome staining, differential chromosome staining techniques (C-banding, AgNOR-banding and fluorochrome DAPI-staining) and FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) with 18S rDNA and (TTAGG)n-telomeric probes. All these species have holokinetic chromosomes, like other Hemiptera. Karyotypes of all species appeared to be remarkably conserved with 2n = 19/20 (18 + X0/XX) (male/female); one very large pair of autosomes and all other chromosomes constituting a decreasing size series; X chromosomes were indistinguishable, at least, at mitotic metaphases. The nucleolus organizer regions (NORs) revealed on one of the medium-sized chromosome pairs in all species and were shown to coincide with the rDNA clusters revealed by FISH. In all species, very small blocks of C-heterochromatin were variously located on chromosomes clearly using DAPI but less distinctly by C-banding. The chromosomes of all the species studied were confirmed to contain the "insect type" motif of telomeres (TTAGG)n.

Introduction. According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the Siberian Federal district produced 8,464.06 tons of natural polyand monofloral honey in 2019. The share of the Altai region was 45.37%, Krasnoyarsk region – 7.8%, regions, Omsk – 7.0%, and Novosibirsk – 6.3%. The color of honey is one of the main identifying characteristics of products. It largely depends on the chemical composition of pollen grains of honey plants. Therefore, it is relevant to study the color of honey from the nectar of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall. Study objects and methods. The research featured honey samples produced from the nectar of Melilotus officinalis (L.) flowers. The honey was centrifuged and pumped in 2018 on the territory of the Altai region. The research involved standard methods, as well as an authentic method for determining the dominant pollen grains. The method was based on preserving the morphological features of pollen grains and did not change their spatial location, thus making it possible to determine their real content in honey. Results and discussion. The honey color was affected by pollen grains of honey-bearing plants: 1) Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall. (84.89%) > Fagopyrum tataricum (L.) Gaertn. (1.0%) > Convolvulus arvensis L. (0.97%) > Origanum vulgare (L.) (0.97%) > Brassicaceae Burnett, nom. cons. (11.20%); 2) Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall. (49.24%) > Dracocephalum nutans L. (7.58%) > Trifolium pratense L. (9.09%) > Brassicaceae Burnett, nom. cons. (18.18%) > Sonchus arvensis L. (2.07%); 3) Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall. (54.05%) > Helianthus annuus L. (14.87%) > Linaria vulgaris Mill. (2.70%) > Arctium tomentosum Mill. (4.05%) > Trifolium repens L. (8.47%) > Brassicaceae Burnett, nom. cons. (10.81%). Color and nutritional value depended mostly on two factors. The first factor was represented by flavonoid compounds (leucoanthocyanins, catechins, flavonols, etc.) of pollen grains of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall., Brassicaceae Burnett, nom. cons., and Helianthus annuus L. Their contents were 5.2, 3.1, and 2.8%, respectively. The other factor involved carotenoids – Trifolium pratense L., Trifolium repens L. and Origanum vulgare (L.). Their contents were 50.0, 37.3, and 28.7 mg/kg, respectively. Conclusion. The research featured honey from the flowers of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall. obtained from the South of the Siberian Federal District. Its color proved to be one of the main sensory properties necessary for establishing the botanical profile of the plants. The color depended on the secondary pollen grains of honey plants, containing flavonoid compounds and carotenoids.
