The article aims to determine the impact of a psychologically grounded interactive educational space on the professional self-realization of future art professionals. The study used the methodology "type and level of professional self-realization," methodology for studying satisfaction, test for studying the motivation of professional activity, and methodology for self-assessment of youth career development. The sample was formed from future actors, directors, musicians, vocalists, and artists. The results indicate the effectiveness of a psychologically grounded interactive educational space for the professional realization of future specialists in the field of art. The interactive educational space that stimulates students' reflection and motivation positively impacts the type of professional self-realization, professional motivation, assessment of future careers and the formation of academic knowledge and professional skills. At the same time, in the cases of using conventional interactive educational space, there are positive changes in the cognitive-activity component and the type of professional self-realization. The results obtained can be used to optimize the use of interactive educational space in higher education institutions to train art professionals. In future research, it is advisable to conduct a differentiated study of the impact of interactive educational space on the personality of a future art specialist.

Modern conditions of public administration are formed in the BANI world (Grabmeier, 2020), unstable, disturbing, uniquely technological and digital. How many of today's civil servants are capable of functioning in such a world through current training and professional development systems? This issue is particularly relevant for post-Soviet countries, as most of them belong to emerging economies that are still shaping their own unique public administration system. The article is aimed at studying the practice of professional development of civil servants within the framework of additional education in post-Soviet countries in the context of digitalisation. According to the study, it is clear that the Soviet model of supplementary education for civil servants is still valid, with minor differences in the countries studied. This model is characterised by a centralised organisation of training of civil servants within the framework of specially created structures (public service academies). With the transition to digital learning, countries are differentiated by the pace and level of transition to distance and e-learning for public servants.

Lesions of the lower extremities in diabetes mellitus are a complex and urgent problem of modern medicine. The high prevalence of diabetes mellitus, significant difficulties in timely diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the choice of therapeutic tactics to preserve the supporting function of the limb determine the difficulties in managing diabetic patients. Over the past decades, significant changes have occurred in the structure of specialized medical care for diabetic foot patients which has significantly reduced the number of high amputations, improved the quality and life expectancy of patients. The article presents the results of the long-term experience of the Diabetic Foot department in the treatment of diabetic foot patients.

The article is devoted to the study of the syncretic constructions with a pronominal adverb «как» in the Russian language. These constructions are analyzed in the lexico-grammatical aspect in comparison with introductory sentences and subordinate clauses. The material for the study consists of the texts of printed and electronic media included in the National Corpus of the Russian Language (NCRL). During the study, based on a diachronic approach, the classifications of constructions with a pronominal adverb «как» presented in the authoritative publications of the Russian language grammar are analyzed. As a result, within the framework of structural-semantic classification, a conclusion is made about the possibility of classifying constructions with an adverb «как» a subordinate clause, which makes it possible to minimize transitional cases while differentiating certain syntactic categories.

This article discusses the design of the online elective course "Basics of chemical metrology" and experience of part-time second year students of study of the pharmaceutical faculty at Bogomolets National Medical University for academic years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022). The attitude of students to the online course was assessed by using quantitative post-course survey. Most of part-time students reported that they would recommend this elective course to other students. Overall, students felt that the course was well-organized with effective delivery of material and useful case studies. The pharmacy case studies presented in this work illustrated that the chemical metrology is the important section of analytical chemistry and gave the part-time pharmacy students an insight into the different roles of the chemical metrology in pharmacy industry. Course "Basics of chemical metrology" is useful and interesting for pharmacy students and can be recommended for learning. Case studies together with distance learning platform LIKAR_NMU and pre-recorded video lectures are effective online learning tools.

Peripheral artery disease is an atherosclerotic disease associated with limb ischemia that necessitates limb amputation in severe cases. Cell therapies comprised of adult mononuclear or stromal cells have been clinically tested and show moderate benefits. Bioengineering strategies can be applied to modify cell behavior and function in a controllable fashion. Using mechanically tunable or spatially controllable biomaterials, we highlight examples in which biomaterials can increase the survival and function of the transplanted cells to improve their revascularization efficacy in preclinical models. Biomaterials can be used in conjunction with soluble factors or genetic approaches to further modulate the behavior of transplanted cells and the locally implanted tissue environment in vivo. We critically assess the advances in bioengineering strategies such as 3-dimensional bioprinting and immunomodulatory biomaterials that can be applied to the treatment of peripheral artery disease and then discuss the current challenges and future directions in the implementation of bioengineering strategies.

The quality of forest crops significantly depends on the characteristics of the planting stock. To obtain high-quality conifer seedlings, the process of container cultivation is used and optimized and a double-cropping mode is introduced. The aim of this study has been to conduct a comparative analysis of one-year-old containerized seedlings of Pinus sylvestris L. according to morphometric parameters under a double-cropping regime under short growing season conditions at high latitudes. The experiment has been carried out in a forest nursery in southern Karelia, Russia. The duration of the first rotation (1rot) has been 146 days, the second one (2rot) – 91 days, the control one (0rot) – 132 days. The following parameters of seedlings have been determined: seedling height (SH, cm), root length (cm), bud length (mm), root collar diameter (RCD, mm), tree dry mass (TDM, g), shoot dry mass (SDM, g), root dry mass (RDM, g) and needle dry mass. The integral quality indices have been assessed, such as: shoot : root dry mass ratio (SRR) = SDM/RDM, sturdiness quotient (SQ) = SH(cm)/RCD(mm) and Dickson Quality Index (DQI) = TDM/(SH + SRR). The lowest values of seedling dry mass have been revealed in the 2rot variant. For all variants, the difference between the mean SQ and DQI values has been statistically significant at the p < 0.05 level. SRR was the lowest in the 1rot seedlings. The high correlation coefficients between the TDM and RCD for all variants confirm the high significance of the latter index. The results indicate the need to adjust the time regime and use additional agricultural practices to obtain high-quality planting stock.

The research serves as an introduction to experimental philosophy and introduces a special journal issue on this topic. We trace a brief history of experimental philosophy and consider different variants of its interpretation. Building upon this, we propose the interpretation of experimental philosophy not as a particular direction or stage in the development of philosophical thought but rather as a radical change in the method of philosophical inquiries, involving the synthesis of traditional philosophical research methods and methodology of empirical (primarily cognitive) science to solve philosophical problems. An important characteristic feature of experimental philosophy, so defined, is its interdisciplinarity. The philosopher does not just use the results of empirical research but can participate in research at all stages, starting with constructing a model of the phenomenon or process under study and hypothesizing, consistently going through the selection of stimulus material and the design of the experiment towards the interpretation of the results and their philosophical understanding. This interpretation of experimental philosophy opens up the possibility of experimental philosophical research in any field, from epistemology or ontology to logic and philosophy of language, without a far-fetched division into analytical and experimental versions. At the same time, the authors emphasize the remarkable fruitfulness of (neuro)phenomenology, which, due to its appeal to direct subjective experience, turns out to be methodologically close to the natural sciences. The final part provides a brief overview of the studies in the thematic issue.

The article examines the specificity of courtroom discourse as a communicative integrity, which is manifested in the comprehensive coherence of its information components. The proposed paper signifi- cantly contributes to the existing studies on the linguistics of courtroom discourse, focusing on the study of its architectonics, a problem that is currently on the periphery of researchers’ scientific interests. The ne- cessity (relevance) of studying courtroom discourse as a comprehensive information cluster, including in- teraction and subordination of its components, is explained by the need to identify the factors ensuring the effectiveness of the communication process. All this determines the novelty of the research. The aim of our study is to define the nature of courtroom discourse and its architectonics from the point of the information it contains, its arrangement, and its impact on the audience. To achieve this aim, both general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, systematisation, classification, induction, deduction) and strictly linguistic methods (random sampling and observation, lexical-semantic and contextual analysis, interpretation of dictionary definitions) were used. In addition, the method of sociolinguistic analysis of the corpus was employed to study the interdependence between language and society. The aim has led to the following objectives: to establish kinds of information the courtroom discourse is based on; to determine the way of how it is delivered and organised to strongly impact the recipients; to justify the notion of architectonics in using it to courtroom discourse. The corpus material was the texts of the opening and closing speeches of prosecutors and defense lawyers at the two high-profile trials of 1999 – 2000 and 2021 (the Amadou Diallo Trial (1999–2000); the George Floyd Murder (Chauvin) Trial (2021). The findings of the study were as follows: It has been established that communication in court, in terms of its focus on the effective exchange of various kinds of information, affects the following: a) the rational perception (semantic information, impact on the mind); b) the emotional perception (aesthetic information, impact on emotions); c) the irratio- nal perception (synectic information, impact on the unconscious) that form an information cluster. It has been shown for the first time that the effectiveness of the communication process in court is determined by the extent of impact or depth of penetration of resources of each kind of information. The concept of architectonics is clarified as a certain, a coordinated and coherent arrangement of blocks of discourse, not reducible to the sum of these blocks, determined by the overall goal of the author in relation to the delivery and impact of information. It is emphasised that the architectonics of discourse affects and implicitly manages the process of audience’s perception of its content. The research also first establishes that the architectonics of the prosecution discourse is constructed through progressive disclosure. Conversely, the discursive space of the defense is organised through the vi- sualisation of a narrative, with the main theme, idea, or concept at its center. The topics that provide expla- nation are arranged around it. Such construct of architectonics is based on the principle of mindmapping. Both constructs provide legal professionals with almost unlimited scope of the creativity to set up the nec- essary chains of association. It is necessary to mention that personal attitudes should be introduced into the architectonics of courtroom discourse as well as a myth created. This also determines, among other things, the success of courtroom discourse. The classification of types of transgression based on their impact on the recipients has been supple- mented, namely, constructive and disruptive ones. The study shows promise as it would be intriguing to explore this issue from the perspective of the evolution of the architectonics of courtroom discourse.

A set of experimental and measurement techniques to study the influence of a plasma jet on the main material parameters of piezoelectric ceramics has been presented. A series of plasma experiments has been carried out using a pulsed plasma jet system. It allows of a metered-dose exposure to plasma of different composition and fluence with a constant particle flux density of 1021/m2, energy flux density of 0.1 MJ/m2 and average particle energy of 100–200 eV in a pulse duration of 15 μs. The study of the effects that a repeated exposure to an extreme heat flux of helium and hydrogen plasmas has on the near-surface layer structure and basic material parameters of mass-produced piezoelectric ceramic samples has been presented. The main result of the research is an experimental confirmation of the surface micro-structuring starting after just a few cycles of plasma exposure while only a slight decrease of the main material parameters as well as the preservation of polarization has been observed for two types of different compositions of PZT-ceramics. A further increase in the number of exposure pulses leads to practically no change of main material parameters of both ceramics, even showing a tendency for recovery instead.

The end of the COVID-19 pandemic in the respiratory disease season of 2022—23 was characterized by an increase in the number of cases, a shift in the classic peaks of morbidity for various infections, and a predominance of influenza and respiratory syncytial virus infection (RSVI). Materials and methods. When compared with the last pandemic season, a later start of the 2023—24 respiratory season was noted with a gradual shift to the usual pre-pandemic period timing of viral morbidity increases. Results. The currently prevailing SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant has acquired the properties of a common respiratory viral infection, currently all-season, with a mild course, without the need for hospitalization. The number of patients with influenza has decreased and there were no patients with a severe course of this infection. A feature of the first post-pandemic season was the outbreak of mycoplasma infection, which was a reason of large number of pneumonia cases.

Background: Despite advances made in combustiology, the method and timing of wound closure remain a matter of debate. There are 2 decisive factors in engraftment of a full-thickness skin graft: infection degree and level of wound bed vascularization. Reasons for unsuccessful engraftment are insufficient hemostasis, late surgery, and exposed subcutaneous fat. Full-thickness skin grafting for wounds of various origins optimizes improvement of long-term cosmetic and functional results of surgery.Objective: To improve treatment results in patients with wounds of various etiologies by improving methods of full-thickness skin autografting.Materials and methods: This study was conducted in the Scientific Research Institute – Ochapovsky Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 (Krasnodar, Russian Federation) and analyzed data from 64 patients (age, 18-65 years) who underwent full-thickness skin autografting. The patients were grouped based on the surgery type.In group 1 (23 patients with acute burn injury), granulation tissue was excised, and the wound defect was closed using a full-thickness skin autograft. In group 2 (21 patients with scar deformities of the skin), scar tissue was excised, and full-thickness skin autografting was performed. Group 3 (20 patients with traumatic skin detachment without bone injury) underwent skin grafting by the Krasovitov method.Results: Time to engraftment in group 1 was median 10.0 (7.5; 15.0) days; in group 2, 15.0 (13.0; 18.0) days, and in group 3, 28 (14.8; 44.3) days. We found statistically significant differences when comparing the groups using the Kruskal-Wallis test (P < .0001).Conclusions: New developed methods for full-thickness skin autografting in patients with granulation tissue and scar deformities can significantly increase the treatment effectiveness.

BACKGROUND: Microcirculatory dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus leads to tissue trophic insufficiency, reduction of adaptation reserves. It is possible to perform lifetime assessment of structural and functional changes in the microcirculation system by laser Doppler flowmetry. The presence of microcirculatory disorders is established in eyelids in chronic blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction. The article presents the results of the study concerning the peculiarities of neoangiogenesis as a mechanism of development of chronic blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction in diabetes mellitus (DM).AIM: to reveal the peculiarities of microcirculatory disorders of the eyelid in chronic mixed blepharitis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study was conducted in 57 patients: 37 patients with chronic mixed bilateral blepharitis and a verified diagnosis of T2DM (group 1, n=74 eyes, average age 69.5 ± 7.5 years; subgroup 1a, n=38 eyes — patients with T2DM and glycated hemoglobin average level (HbA1с) 6.7±1.2; subgroup 1b, n=36 eyes — patients with T2DM and HbA1с average level 8.2±1.3) and 20 patients with chronic mixed bilateral blepharitis without signs of DM (group 2, n=40 eyes, mean age 67.2±4.3 years). Laser Doppler flowmetry was performed on the device «LAZMA MC-1».RESULTS: In patients with chronic blepharitis against the background of T2DM the development of ischemia of the eyelid tissue with increasing tension of functioning of the regulatory systems of microcirculation blood flow and lymph flow was detected, and in persons without DM — venous stasis with moderate inhibition of vasomotor, respiratory and dominance of cardiac oscillations of blood flow, as well as insufficiency of neurogenic oscillations of lymph flow. In this case in 1a subgroup the dominance of neurogenic oscillations of blood flow was revealed, in 1b - myogenic. Microcirculatory changes of lymph flow in the 1b subgroup were more pronounced in comparison with the 1a subgroup.CONCLUSION: The results proves the negative influence of T2DM on the microcirculatory bed of patients with chronic mixed blepharitis. The disorders detected by laser Doppler flowmetry vary depending on the HbA1с.

The propulsive motion of a multimass system, vibration-driven robot (VR), in a viscous incompressible fluid was studied. The VR consisted of a round cylindrical body submerged in the fluid and an internal mass (IM) performing small-amplitude pendulum-like oscillations inside the body. Using the method of asymptotic expansions, the combined mechanical and hydrodynamic problems that describe the self-propulsion of the system in the fluid were solved. The hydrodynamic problem was formulated on the basis of the complete non-stationary Navier– Stokes equation. An analytical solution was derived to describe the cruising regime of the VR motion in the fluid. The non-stationary hydrodynamic influence on the VR was determined. The efficiency of the propulsive system’s motion was assessed.
