Physical and cadastral data management practices for underground facilities are insufficient to represent underground assets' Rights, Restrictions, and Responsibilities (RRRs) and their relationships with the cadastre. For this reason, developing a 3D integrated data (underground and above‐ground) model may be an approach to an effective land management system. This research aims to develop a creative data model by integrating Turkish National Geographic Information System (TUCBS‐AY in Turkish) with international standards (Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) and CityGML) as a holistic approach. The requirements determined for underground facilities using TUCBS‐AY were used. Since the data produced in Turkey were modeled according to the CityGML 2.0 version, the CityGML 2.0 UtilityNetwork version was used in the study to be compatible with the existing Turkish cadastral system. While some classes in the model are generalized, they are expanded using LADM's classes for legal rights and part information. In addition, the CityGML classes have been expanded within the model so that parcels, buildings, and independent sections are represented separately, thus providing the opportunity to represent the underground utilities associated with them, their RRRs, and ownership situations. Requirements for the proposed model were determined based on Turkey's cadastral system and underground data. The main purpose is to manage the legal and physical relations of underground and surface objects at the city scale, compatible with the current Turkish cadastral system, with a holistic approach. Spatial planning includes various decisions that guide the formulation of land policies, such as planned urbanisation, environment-nature-culture protection, and safe agriculture. Land Administration Systems (LASs) should also include spatial planning decisions as they play a role in facilitating the implementation of land policies. In this study, the Turkish spatial planning system's role in the land administration is discussed. The paper presents the necessity of designing and standardising the spatial planning system as data model. This data model design includes not only spatial plan decisions but also documents that guide spatial planning and land development decisions caused by planning. Therefore, this study aims to present a standardised model of the Turkish spatial planning system and the land use rights, restrictions and responsibilities established by spatial plans. Designing spatial planning system information as a conceptual data model within the Land Administration Domain Model is expected to support land administration system-based improvements. The North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ) in the north of Türkiye is considered one of the most active faults on earth and have caused many major earthquakes in the last century. Surface ruptures by those earthquakes indicate that this tectonic feature consists of many segments, which reveal different characteristics in terms of geometry and mechanism. NAFZ lies along between Bingöl in the eastern Turkey and Saros Gulf in the west. This study focuses on the central part of the NAFZ between Niksar and Ilgaz provinces. In addition to the main branch, the central section of the NAFZ also contains two sub-branches extending southward: Merzifon-Esençay and Sungurlu Faults. In the literature, there are several studies for the region, however a comprehensive study mainly focusing on the main branch of the NAFZ and its subbranches along the central NAFZ has not been conducted yet, which would fully reveal the fault mechanism and seismic potential in the region. The aim of this study is to derive an up-to-date high-spa-tial-resolution Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) velocity field for the central NAFZ and to correlate with the strain accumulations along the faults. Based on this, a high-spatial-resolution GNSS network consisting of 60 sites was established enclosing the central NAFZ. The previously archived GNSS data for the same observation sites were collected from the different studies in the region and a new GNSS campaign measurement was conducted between October 2023 and February 2024. All GNSS data were processed using GAMIT/GLOBK software, and the results indicate the GNSS velocities ranging from 3-30 mm/year and their associated uncertainties of maximum ± 1.5 mm/year with respect to the Eurasian tectonic plate. Recent earthquakes on the East Anatolian Fault Zone (EAFZ) and its surroundings in the Eastern Mediterranean region reveal a potential seismic hazard. It is thus needed to constrain deformations within tectonically active zones and clarify kinematics of the triple junction near Adana, Osmaniye, Hatay, and Gaziantep provinces. To understand strain accumulations and interseismic patterns of these active zones, one of the most popular geodetic methods was applied. Slip rates derived from Global Positioning System (GPS) observations by half-space modeling lead us to predict possible magnitudes and even probable locations of future destructive earthquakes. In this context, we form a region-specific GPS network consisting of both campaign observation sites and permanent stations to monitor strain accumulations across major active faults and investigate fault kinematics in detail. The campaign GPS data sets acquired in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2019 were merged with data from different local permanent GPS networks for an integrated analysis of the determination of recent tectonic deformations. The TDEFNODE software was used to construct a kinematic model in an elastic and homogeneous half-space. The modeling approach needs inputs such as block and fault geometries, GPS site velocities, and locking depth assumptions. Our kinematic model indicates that an almost purely sinistral strike-slip rate of 7.5 mm/yr without any significant normal or reverse component is dominant on the main branch of the EAFZ. This estimated slip rate supports a prediction for a magnitude margin of 7.2–7.6 for the next probable large earthquake on the Turkoglu–Golbasi segment. The Karatas–Osmaniye Fault has a 3.4 mm/yr dextral strike-slip rate together with a reverse-slip rate of 3.1 mm/yr, which corresponds to a possible magnitude of 6.8–7.1 for an earthquake on the southwest end of the East Anatolian Fault. The Karasu Fault extends from the Turkoglu Triple Junction on the EAFZ in the north to the Hatay Triple Junction in the south. This critical fault segment has a sinistral 4.4–5.4 mm/yr slip rate with a normal component slip rate of 3.0 mm/yr, supporting earthquake prediction with a possible magnitude of 6.8–7.2. As a result, the determination of such kinematic indications in active tectonic zones by GPS observations plays a key role in seismic hazard analysis for the Eastern Mediterranean region.

In this study, an Al6061-T6 sheet material with different planar anisotropies with a single thickness of 2 mm was employed to simulate the effects of anisotropy parameters on the earring by using finite element method. The effects of anisotropy parameters on the earring were examined by using FEM. Variations force obtained in Δr2 are higher than Δr1. This is due to the anisotropy of the material. It can be said that the FEM simulations give reasonable results in view of earring for deep drawing processes. So, experimental costs can therefore be avoided using a suitable FEM model. This article discusses 3D cadastral objects registration with time attributes and implementation within the Turkish Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) framework. This research will discuss the practical pathway towards realizing LADM-based 3D cadastral objects registration and focuses on extending the representation of those cadastral objects to 4D (3D+ t) with time attributes in alignment with the jurisdictional settings in Turkey. The prototype development begins with data modelling. Also, the data was managed in an open-source PostgreSQL database. The developed prototype can answer all questions about cadastral objects, such as property, right, restrictions and responsibility (RRR) types, temporal queries and spatial source document and usage type of cadastral objects. It has been anticipated that this study may serve as a model for other national authorities with similar land management systems, particularly cadastral objects with time-qualification records, including the existing Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) initiative in Turkey. In Turkey, during the realisation of the land registry and cadastre transactions, manually checking the official documents exceeding 20 million annually causes some problems in document management and security. This study focuses on managing the official documents as online requested by the land registry and cadastre directorates from the other institutions during these transactions. Therefore, a general external data model based on the LADM has been proposed to manage requested documents during transactions. If web-based applications support the proposed model, access to documents will be faster and easier, and security risk will be reduced. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
