The JTAG IEEE 1149.1 standard specifies a fourpin test access port and an optional test reset pin as a debug interface for a chip. In this paper, we propose a single wire debug (SWD) interface for an existing IEEE 1149.1 compliant device. The proposed SWD design requires only one pin and can be integrated into severely pin-limited ICs, where only a few package pins are available for debugging. This reduction in pin count has advantages in terms of miniaturization and packaging cost reduction. SWD can be used to debug and trace functionality on ARM7 and ARM9 class of processor cores from ARM Ltd. using JTAG in-circuit emulators.

This paper presents a high-speed embedded platform for image acquisition and processing. We proposed a low-cost and high-performance overall structure based on the field programmable gate array (FPGA) and the digital signal processor (DSP). FPGA implement the configurations of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor, image data acquisition and storage. DSP is in charge of some high level complex algorithm. The combination of DSP and FPGA efficiently realizes various advanced and complex algorithms. The platform uses a Cyclone-III FPGA from Altera and a DSP TMS320C6713 from Texas Instruments (TI) and communicates with an ARM9 (Advanced RISC Machines) S3C2410 host through host port interface (HPI) interface. The platform can realize lossless storage and efficient transmission of image data. The flexibility of this hardware platform allows us to benefit from its high data throughput and processing ability. Experiments results show that this system is useful and powerful. Moreover, it can be easily migrated to other high speed data acquisition application.

With the rapid development of industrial control technology, HMI (human machine interface) is widely used in a variety of areas, but HMI is specially customized and developed based on specific application in most of areas. As a result, HMI is becoming more and more unsuitable for the present development trend with the low efficiency and high cost. This article takes ARM9 as the hardware platform and combines the transplantation of Linux and Qt application software to design a general development system for HMI. Using this HMI universal platform, the human-machine interface of the 4-head placement machine is designed. The test results show that the HMI system has a fast response speed, each functional module runs normally, and the graphical interface is friendly, which fully meets the needs of the patch operation.

According to the needs of equipment security, production management and scheduling, and product marketing strategy for remote location monitoring of mobile devices, a remote location monitoring system was constructed and tested by using ARM9 embedded device, GPS positioning module and 4G router based on OneNet cloud platform in the laboratory. The test result showed that users could check the real-time location of the device by opening the published website through computer or mobile phone, which realized remote monitoring of the location of mobile devices, and the size of positioning error can basically meet the requirement of users for remote location monitoring of the mobile device.

In this paper, an accurate and intelligent Grape Downy Mildew (GDM) detection method based on common image processing and artificial neural network (ANNs) is proposed. In view of the structure of grape leaves and the distribution characteristics of GDM on leaves, firstly, image processing is mainly to solve the extraction of downy mildew areas on leaves, which is mainly composed of gray-scale processing, gray-scale linear transformation and binarization, and the effects of different processing algorithms and parameters on the results are discussed. Secondly, an ANNs is used to reduce the interference of grape leaf vein on the spot area statistics. Finally, the hardware and software platform based on ARM9 integrated processor, Linux and QT is used to realize the system integration. Compared with the traditional detection method, the accuracy of this detection method can reach 97%, which is close to the accuracy of the human eye, which can be used as an ambient intelligence system in the vineyard inspection, automatic completion of grape GDM detection and grading.

In order to solve the problem that the PKE (passive keyless enter) with a fixed-frequency used in middle and low grade cars was interfered and broken easily, which led to the damage of anti-theft system and even the loss of cars, and in order to ensure the PKE can be used long and be expanded and upgraded in the future, a new, low power consumption and high reliability PKE was designed with the S3C2410 microprocessor which is based on ARM9 and the RF transceiver chip nRF905 which has the function of frequency modulation. As frequency-hopping communication technology was used in the system, the information would not be disturbed or blocked in the communication process, which increased the reliability of the system. With reasonable power-management module, the system power consumption was greatly reduced. Test shows that the new PKE can well meet the practical application.

This paper takes agricultural robot as the research object, combines machine vision and embedded technology, proposes an embedded agricultural robot image processing and path navigation algorithm based on machine vision, and successfully transplants the image processing and path navigation algorithm to the embedded environment based on ARM9.

A general purpose ARM based analog data acquisition module has been designed and developed. It features four numbers of analog input and output channels with both voltage and current input and output having 16bit resolution and about 100ppm stability. An ARM9 based single board computer (SBC) has been used as a (Inter Integrated Circuit) I2C master with which the ADC and DAC are connected as slaves. A current to voltage converter circuit has been implemented to read the field current in the range of µA to µA. The data acquisition module works as a TCP/IP server and can be communicated from any client computer placed on the same network. The design, development and application of this module will be described in this paper.

This paper introduces a kind of ARM embedded system as the control systemof the nursing bed.The embedded control system takes the ARM9 S3C2440 chip as the core of data processing. The design ofthe control system includes hardware design, software design and PC monitoring system design.

Most research on the scintillation index of laser beam in turbulent atmosphere is limited to numerical method. Based on this point, a scintillation index measuring system (SIMS) based on embedded MCU of ARM9 is designed and realized. The hardware circuit was built on the microprocessor S3C2440; and the software system was transplanted the embedded Linux operating system. The scintillation index of laser beam in a real turbulent atmosphere by using the SIMS is experimentally investigated. The SIMS is proved to be an effective and exact real-time system for measuring scintillation index by comparing the results of experimentally investigation and theory simulation.

People's ever-increasing demand on building environment has promoted the rapid development of intelligent buildings and building automation systems. With the application of BACnet/IP based building controllers, the building control center is connected via high-speed Ethernet with functional controllers on different floors and with different functions. Various functional modules of hardware circuits, which are designed on the ARM9 hardware platform, provide a stable operating environment for software and network by transplanting the embedded Linux system. This paper focuses on realization of data exchange between BACnet protocol stack and other BACnet devices through the protocol stack and the controller.

With the increasing aging of the population, the intelligent monitoring of the elderly solitaries has becoming more and more crucial. In this paper, Wi-Fi wireless communication technology and OpenCV technology are combined to design an intelligent monitoring system for the elderly solitaries. The ARM9 processor S3C2416 is used as the main controller which equipped with a Wi-Fi module and a video data acquisition module. Device driver module, serial port driver module and USB camera driver module are used to achieve an appropriate device driver operation while the human body posture detection method is used to perceive falls. Through the experimental test system to achieve the design goal, it is able to verify that this system has a good application prospect and scalability.

The paper takes the variable spraying part in the field of precision agriculture as the research object and puts forward a control method based on the prescription map to automatically adjust the spraying quantity. The system takes ARM9 as the core control components, obtaining position, travel speed of the sprayer by GPS positioning and the pressure and flow information provided by the pressure sensor and flow sensor to compare with the ideal spray amount in the prescription chart, effectively adjusting the electric valve and solenoid valve, which controls the actual amount of spray. Embedded in the Linux operating system, the system offers real-time and fast operation of various components. Through the field test, the spraying error is less than 5%, which realizes the design goal of automatically adjusting the amount of spray on demand.

I303 order to realize the real-time monitoring of the narrow space and unsafe places, a mobile video surveillance trolley is designed so that the mobile trolley can replace a person to perform a specific job. At the same time, in order to reduce the occupancy rate of CUP, the system uses hardware compression based USB camera for video information acquisition, build MJPG-streamer video streaming server to complete the video data acquisition and transmission. Tests show that the system video data transmission is stable, smooth video images, reducing the delay. The car has low power consumption, low cost, flexible use and other characteristics, can be used in coal mines, environmental exploration and other dangerous places.

The RIFF/RIFF 2 (flasher) boxes are one of the more commonly used tools for JTAG extractions on mobile phones. RIFF supports several devices, to include a large selection of Samsung and HTC models. Several law enforcement-training vendors include RIFF hardware with their JTAG training. Like many other flasher boxes, RIFF is primarily designed for repairing mobile devices. RIFF supports several memory controllers, to include OneNAND, NAND, and eMMC controllers. RIFF also supports several chipsets and cores for JTAG I/O operations. Some of the supported chipsets include generic ARM cores, ARM7, ARM9, ARM11, Cortex A8–A9, several Qualcomm QSC, MSM, QSD, MDM, OMAP, NVIDIA, and Marvell/XScale families. RIFF can perform direct memory reads, which is critical to law enforcement cases. RIFF can also perform I/O detection on unmapped Test Access Port locations. Voltage can also be selected from ranges of 1.4–3.3 V. RIFF also has a high number of devices that are supported with dedicated DLL files.

With embedded technology and Internet technology widely being used in many fields, in order to allow companies and institutions of staffs to get attendance data more conveniently and effectively, this paper has studied and designed a fingerprint attendance system based on embedded Linux and WeChat Official Accounts, which runs in a social software whose usage rate reaches 94% of Chinese huge cities. This research uses ARM9 as the master chip, transplants Linux3.12.10 operating system, applies fingerprint identification module to obtain attendance data, uses WIFI module connect to the cloud server in order to send and receive attendance data. This research connects cloud server to WeChat server, so that cloud server can process attendance data request and send the company message pushing from WeChat client. This design achieves fingerprint attendance in the embedded terminal and stores the data in the cloud. WeChat terminal real-time access to attendance data and company's message pushing. Therefore, attendance data is transferred in real-time and conveniently, reducing the cost of a separately developing attendance APP and web pages.

SpiNNaker (Spiking Neural Network Architecture) is a specialised computing engine, intended for real-time simulation of neural systems. It consists of a mesh of 240x240 nodes, each containing 18 ARM9 processors: over a million cores, communicating via a bespoke network. Ultimately, the machine will support the simulation of up to a billion neurons in real time, allowing simulation experiments to be taken to hitherto unattainable scales. The architecture achieves this by ignoring three of the axioms of computer design: the communication fabric is non-deterministic; there is no global core synchronisation, and the system state - held in distributed memory - is not coherent. Time models itself: there is no notion of computed simulation time - wallclock time is simulation time. Whilst these design decisions are orthogonal to conventional wisdom, they bring the engine behaviour closer to its intended simulation target - neural systems. We describe how SpiNNaker simulates large neural ensembles; we provide performance figures and outline some failure mechanisms. SpiNNaker simulation time scales 1:1 with wallclock time at least up to 9 million synaptic connections on a 768 core subsystem (~1400th of the full system) to accurately produce logically predicted results.

The current target tracking system of large size, low integration, and high power consumption, mostly use X86 architecture processor as the core. Based on the requirements of target tracking system, this paper designs the circuit of I.MX6Q as the core, integrates power supply, USB interface, expansion interface, video output interface, RTC and so on as the hardware platform, embedded Linux operating system as the software running environment of the target tracking system. In the aspect of hardware, the main devices are selected and designed; In the aspect of software, this paper envisions the development environment which is more humanized, and the embedded Linux system is cut and transplanted. The test results show that the system is not only stable and can track a target in real time, but also meet the requirements of small size and low power consumption.

With aim to save energy that seriously wasted in classroom, this paper propose an intelligent light control system based onARM9 as core processor CPU by dividing the classroom lighting into several square area. The TSL230 programmable optical frequency converters were adopted to detect the current light intensity of the classroom while the pyroelectric electric infrared sensors were adopted to detect the person information in the room. The data was sent to ARM9 to make a reasonable switch lights decisions by comparing the data with the setting threshold of illuminance and that of people. The system was proved with the merits of simple operation, low cost, high reliability and energy saving.

Aiming at the problem of the lack of a type of ordnance equipment unit fault location method, based on UC/GUI embedded graphic user interface, designs a new detection and diagnosis system. the system function includes the self-inspection, Spare parts testing, the actual equipment testing and theory teaching. The system adopts C8051F020 MCU and S3C2440 ARM9 microprocessor, integrated application data acquisition, LCD touch control and display, serial communications and other technology to build the hardware system, and based on UC/GUI constructs a new menu system.

In this paper, the Beidou satellite navigation system based on the establishment of Beidou Positioning base station, select the cloud platform RTK forwarding mode, using ARM9 processor as the main controller, through the PID to adjust the output control signal, sending CAN communication instructions to control the hydraulic system to complete the intelligent agricultural machinery automatic control, and realize the visualization of automatic route, the intelligent agricultural planning work according to the completion of the cruise route.
