S'ha estudiat, dissenyat i implementat un dispositiu, alimentat mitjançant el protocol PoE (Power over Ethernet), que mostra la senyal de tally d'un video mixer ATEM. Aquesta senyal serveix a l'operador de càmera per conèixer l'estat actual a realització de la seva gravació, coneixent en tot moment si es troba a programa, es a dir, en emissió; o en previ, en cas de trobar-se en preparació. Les dades es transporten des del mixer al dispositiu mitjançant un cable de xarxa Ethernet. Se ha estudiado, diseñado e implementado un dispositivo, alimentado mediante el protocolo PoE (Power over Ethernet), que muestra la señal de tally de un mezclador de vídeo ATEM. Dicha señal sirve al operador de cámara para conocer el estado actual en realización de su grabación, sabiendo en todo momento si se encuentra en programa, es decir, en emisión; o previo, en caso de encontrarse en preparación para ello. Los datos se transportan desde el mezclador al dispositivo mediante un cable de red Ethernet. This project presents the study, development and implementation of a device that displays the tally signal of an ATEM video mixer, powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet). The operator of each camera uses this signal to know if his capture is broadcasted at that specific moment, named in the mixer as program, or it is prepared to it, named as preview. The wired Ethernet system is used to transport data from the mixer to the camera position.

2005 bis 2010 wurden 779 gesunde ProbandInnen von 5 bis 81 Jahren mittels spiroergometrischer Belastungsuntersuchung auf dem Fahrradergometer untersucht. Es wurden alters- und geschlechtsbezogenen Perzentilen abgebildet. Der Vergleich basiert auf einem t-Test für unabhängige Stichproben. Ein Unterschied zugunsten des Laufbandes ergibt sich für BF bei Ausbelastung für die Jungen/Männer, für V̇\(_E\) an der VAT bei den weiblichen Probandinnen und bei Ausbelastung für beide Geschlechter. Für die weiblichen Probandinnen unterscheiden sich die EQ an der VAT und bei Ausbelastung zugunsten des Rads. Übereinstimmend mit der Literatur können für ventilatorische Parameter auf dem Laufband höhere Werte erzielt werden als auf dem Rad. Für EQ gilt dieses Verhältnis umgekehrt als Ausdruck einer effizienteren Atmung auf dem Laufband. Mithilfe der Perzentilen können physiologische von krankheitsbedingten Veränderungen unterschieden werden. Bei kardiopulmonal Erkrankten sollte das Laufband bevorzugt werden.

Because emotion knowledge and language skills each contribute to children’s success in school and life, the Feeling Thinking Talking (FTT) intervention combines the advancement of language skills and of emotion knowledge in teachers’ child-directed conversations. Teachers from centers of early childhood education in Germany were taught Language Support Strategies and how to apply them during emotion talk while reading picture books, while reminiscing about emotional events, and in everyday conversations with the children in their care. The evaluation of the FTT intervention entailed a comparison between the FTT group (N = 43) and a business-as-usual (BAU) control group (N = 67) with N = 110 children (Mage = 49.41 months, range = 33-66 months at T1) who were individually tested using objective tests on receptive vocabulary and emotion knowledge before (T1) and after the FTT intervention (T2), and in a follow-up three to six months later (T3). After a multiple imputation procedure, mixed multilevel models indicated that the children taught by the FTT group teachers made faster progress in their emotion knowledge than their agemates in the BAU condition, especially in their knowledge of mixed emotions, when numerous covariates were controlled. Results suggest that young children’s emotion knowledge can be promoted alongside with language skills by a teacher-led intervention supporting child-directed emotion talk in early childhood education. The main focus of the project was the comparison of results from a new towed transientelectromagnetic (tTEM) data set with existing data including airborne transient EM(ATEM), radio magnetotellurics (RMT), cone penetration test with resistivity (CPT-R),geotechnical interpretations and geological observations in a quick clay landslide site atFråstad close to Lilla Edet in south-west Sweden. The tTEM data set was processedand inverted twice in the software Aarhus workbench using different inversion constraintsand settings. The resulting resistivity models where compared with previous geophysicalmodels based on both ATEM and RMT as well as geotechnical information in the form ofborehole logs and CPTR measurements. The results compared well with all other modelsand predicts resistivities in the range of 10−40Ωmin areas of interpreted to hold quickclay by geotechnical methods. As a ground geophysical method the tTEM method is fastand cost-effective, particularly in more open areas with little topographical variations. Inthe example presented in this study tTEM measurements are deemed an effective andaccurate tool to map areas of potential quick clay using the inverted resistivity models incombination with other geological and geotechnical data. Huvudsyftet med detta projekt är en sammanställning och jämförelse mellan resistivitetsmod-eller från ett nytt markburet TEM data set (tTEM) och tidigare insamlade luftburnaTEM data (ATEM), RMT (radiomagnetotellurik) samt detaljerade resistivitetsmätningari borrhål (CPT-R). Mätområdet ligger i Fråstad vid Göta älv i Lilla Edets kommun isydvästra Sverige. Tidigare undersökningar har visat att området innehåller kvickleraoch där förekommer även skredärr från tidigare kvickleraskred. tTEM datan bearbe-tades,filtrerades och inverterades med hjälp av mjukvaran Aarhus workspace med tvåolika set av begränsningar och inställningar. De resulterande resistivitetsmodellerna jäm-fördes med tidigare geofysiska metoder i ATEM och RMT samt med geoteknisk infor-mation i formen av borrhålsloggar samt CPTR mätningar. Resultatet visar en mycketgod korrelation mellan resistivitetsmodellerna från de olika dataseten. De modelleraderesistiviteterna var 10−40Ωm för de områden som med geotekniska metoder identifieratssom kvickleraområden. Som en markbunden metod är tTEM snabb och kostnadseffektiv,särskilt vid användning i öppna ytor med liten topografisk variation. I exemplen somvisas i denna studie dras slutsatsen att tTEM är ett effektivt och noggrant verktyg föratt hitta områden som potentiellt kan hålla kvickleror. Där kan sedan de resulteranderesistivitetsmodellerna användas tillsammans med annan geoteknisk och geologisk dataför att effektivt kartlägga dessa kvicklersområden.

Los mezcladores de vídeo son dispositivos de gran importancia en el mundo de la televisión, ya que permiten realizar funciones de producción y posproducción de vídeo. En este proyecto, se realiza el estudio de los mezcladores de vídeo, en concreto el ATEM Television Studio Pro HD, con el objetivo de implementar un software que permita controlar sus funciones. Se realiza una introducción sobre los mezcladores de vídeo para informar sobre su funcionalidad. Este proyecto se centra en unas librerías, creadas por la empresa SKAARHOJ, escritas en código Arduino que fueron creadas con ingeniería inversa para poder controlar los mezcladores de vídeo de la marca ATEM. Se realiza un estudio de las librerías con el que se determina la funcionalidad de las mismas. A raíz del estudio de las librerías se crea el equivalente en código C/C++ para que funcionen en sistemas no Arduino, como Linux y Windows. Video Mixers are devices of great importance in the world of television, as they can perform video production and post-production functions. In this project, a study about video mixers is carried out, specifically the ATEM Television Studio Pro HD, in order to create software that allows a user to control its functions. An introduction to video mixers is made to inform about their functionality. This project focuses on a set of libraries, created by the company SKAARHOJ, written in Arduino code that were created with reverse engineering to control ATEM video mixers. A study of the libraries is made to determine their functionality. As a result of the study of the libraries, the equivalent in C/C ++ code is created so that they work on non-Arduino systems, such as Linux and Windows

This cumulative doctoral thesis is based on five publications in international peer-reviewed journals, and is focused on advanced mid-infrared gas sensing concepts taking advantage of substrate-integrated hollow structures (iHWGs) serving as waveguide and preconcentrator/molecular enrichment platform. Next to the primary development of advanced molecular enrichment schemes for exhaled breath analysis, the utility of iHWGs in additional application scenarios (e.g., catalysis) has been demonstrated. Consequently, the resulting publications comprise two thematic blocks: (a) the development and optimization of the so-called iPRECON and muciPRECON enrichment system, and (b) the implementation of iHWG-based infrared sensing concepts in novel application scenarios, i.e., catalysis research, and in combination with microfluidics for studying liquid phase activity changes. Trace gas analysis in general demands addressing very low (i.e., ppm to ppb) analyte concentrations with the required sensitivity, which frequently requests enrichment of the target analytes with complex sample matrices prior to the actual measurement. The developed miniaturized enrichment units facilitate enrichment factors up 50 and more without the requirement of complex instrumentation. Hence, mobile and compact infrared sensors with inherently limited optical path lengths, e.g., for the detection of volatile organic compounds, ideally benefit from such preconcentration strategies. The aim of this part of the thesis was therefore the development of equally compact enrichment devices that may be operated fully automated and autonomous, are user friendly, compact, robust, and fulfill analytical criteria such as reproducibility, repeatability, and recovery rates similar or even superior to conventional preconcentration methods based on solid phase adsorption/thermal desorption. The preconcentrator concepts developed in this thesis were exclusively based on the so-called substrate-integrated hollow waveguide (iHWG) technology pioneered at the IABC, and applied in combination with mid-infrared (MIR, 3-15 ��m) spectroscopy/sensing technologies. In general, iHWGs are an attractive alternative to conventional multi-pass gas cells, and are characterized by efficient light transmission across the analytically relevant electromagnetic spectrum, while simultaneously serving as a highly miniaturized gas cell probing minute (i.e., few hundred microliters) sample volumes with exceptionally fast sample transient times. The very same iHWG structures fabricated into heat able substrates have been adapted to serve as preconcentration channel via packing solid sorbent materials adapted to the properties of the molecules that should be trapped into the hollow structure. Finally, the modularity and design flexibility of the iHWG technology enabled the application of MIR sensing technologies in entirely new application scenarios including monitoring fast catalytic processes, and analyzing how partial pressure changes (i.e., activity changes) of liquids may be observed and quantified via gas phase sensing concepts., Diese kumulative Doktorarbeit basiert auf f��nf Publikationen, die in internationalen referierten Fachzeitschriften ver��ffentlicht wurden. Der Fokus lag auf innovativen Gassensorikkonzepten im mittleren Infrarot, wobei die Vorteile von substrat-integrierten Hohllichtwellenleiterstrukturen (iHWGs) genutzt wurden, die auch als Pr��konzentrator- bzw. Molek��lanreicherungsplattform dienten. Neben der prim��ren Entwicklung von kompakten Anreicherungssystemen zur Analyse ausgesuchter Zielmolek��le im Atemgas wurde der Nutzen von iHWGs in weiteren Anwendungsszenarien (z.B. ��berwachung von Katalyseprozessen) demonstriert. Die daraus resultierenden Publikationen beinhalten daher zwei thematische Bl��cken: (a) die Entwicklung und Optimierung des so genannten iPRECON- und muciPRECON-Anreicherungssystems und (b) die Implementierung von iHWG-basierten Infrarotsensorkonzepten in neuartige Anwendungsszenarien, d.h. in der Katalyseforschung, sowie in Kombination mit Mikrofluidik zur Untersuchung von Aktivit��ts��nderungen in der Fl��ssigphase. In der Spurengasanalyse wird der Nachweis von sehr niedrigen (d.h. ppm und sub-ppm) Analytkonzentrationen angestrebt. Wenn die Messtechnik selbst nicht sensitiv genug ist, ist die Anreicherung der Zielanalyten aus komplexen Probenmatrices vor der eigentlichen Messung erforderlich. Die im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit entwickelten, miniaturisierten Anreicherungssysteme erm��glichen Anreicherungsfaktoren um das bis zu 50-fach und mehr. Davon profitieren mobile und kompakte Infrarotsensoren mit inh��rent begrenzten optischen Absorptionswegl��ngen, z.B. zum Nachweis fl��chtiger organischer Verbindungen, wenn sie um diese Anreicherungsstrategien erweitert werden. Ein wesentliches Ziel dieses Teils der Arbeit war daher die Entwicklung von ebenso kompakten und portablen Anreicherungssystemen, die vollautomatisch und autonom betrieben werden k��nnen, benutzerfreundlich und robust sind, aber auch wesentliche analytische Kriterien wie Reproduzierbarkeit, Wiederholbarkeit und Wiederfindungsraten gegen��ber herk��mmlichen Anreicherungsverfahren auf Basis von Festphasenadsorption/Thermodesorption erf��llen oder sogar ��bertreffen. Die im Rahmen dieser Dissertation entwickelten Anreicherungskonzepte basierten ausschlie��lich auf der am IABC entwickelten sogenannten substrat-integrierten Hohllichtwellenleitertechnologie (iHWG), die in Kombination mit spektroskopischen bzw. sensorischen Messverfahren im mittleren Infrarot (MIR, 3-15 ��m) eingesetzt wurden. iHWGs sind eine attraktive Alternative zu herk��mmlichen Multiweg-Gaszellen und zeichnen sich durch effiziente Lichtleitung ��ber das gesamte analytisch relevante elektromagnetische Spektrum aus. Gleichzeitig dienen sie als hochminiaturisierte Gasmesszellen, die das Beproben geringster Gasvolumina (d.h. einige hundert Mikroliter) erm��glichen und damit verbunden einen au��ergew��hnlich raschen Probendurchsatz. Die gleichen iHWG-Strukturen wurden zu beheizbaren Substraten verarbeitet und entsprechend angepasst, um als Anreicherungskanal zu dienen, in den feste Adsorptionsmaterialien gepackt wurden deren Eigenschaften entsprechdn der jeweiligen Zielmolek��le gew��hlt wurden. Abschlie��end erm��glichte die Modularit��t und Designflexibilit��t der iHWG-Technologie den Einsatz von MIR-Sensortechnologien in v��llig neuen Anwendungsszenarien, einschlie��lich der ��berwachung schnell ablaufender, katalytischer Prozesse und der Analyse und Quantifizierung von Aktivit��ts��nderungen von Fl��ssigkeiten ��ber Gasphasensensorkonzepte.

Depuis les avis rendus par l'Afsset en 2009 sur la nécessité de mieux contrôler l'exposition des travailleurs exposés à l'amiante, en utilisant la Microscopie Electronique à Transmission Analytique pour l'analyse des fibres d'amiante et en proposant une réduction de la Valeur Limite d'Exposition Professionnelle à 10 F/L sur 8h, de nombreux travaux ont été menés à l'INRS sur ces sujets. Le projet Amiante-META, qui a démarré en 2012 à l'INRS, a permis d'obtenir des réponses sur la métrologie des fibres d'amiante, sur l'exposition des opérateurs de désamiantage en situation de travail, sur le niveau de protection individuelle offert par les équipements actuellement utilisés sur les chantiers et de construire des outils de prédiction des expositions et des programmes de formation pour améliorer la protection des salariés de ce secteur., Since the opinions issued by Afsset in 2009 on the need to better control the exposure of workers exposed to asbestos (to use Analytical Transmission Electron Microscopy for the analysis of asbestos fibers and to reduce of the Occupational Exposure Limit Value at 10 F / L over 8h) many studies were conducted at INRS on these topics. The Asbestos-META project, which started in 2012 at the INRS, provided first answers on the metrology of asbestos fibers, on the exposure of asbestos removal operators in the workplace and on the level of protection offered by equipment currently used on construction sites. This project provided also exhibition prediction tools and training programs to improve the protection of employees in this sector.

Une collaboration avec Wolfram Ette (Université de Munich, Allemagne) est en cours.; Die Aufzeichnungen / Essays beschäftigen sich mit kulturellen, literarischen, politischen und alltagsgeschichtlichen Aspekten des Umgangs mit dem Coronavirus. Eine Vielfalt von literarischen Beispielen wird aufgerufen, um neue Zugänge zu dem grossen sozialen und politischen Labor zu gewinnen, in dem wir uns zur Zeit befinden.

Schlafbezogene Atmungsstörungen zeigen eine hohe Prävalenz bei Patienten mit Herzinsuffizienz. Die positive Überdruckbeatmung ist die Therapie der Wahl, aber die Ergebnisse der SERVE–HF–Studie werfen Fragen nach dem Hintergrund der erhöhten Mortalität unter einer Therapie mit adaptiver Servoventilation auf. Eine Ursache hierfür könnten negative Effekte einer Überdruckbeatmung auf die Lungenfunktion sein. Ergebnisse bezüglich Lungenfunktion, Diffusion und Atemmuskelkraft wurden unter Überdruckbeatmung erhoben und mit einer Kontroll–Gruppe verglichen. Es zeigten sich keine signifikanten Änderungen. Der vermutete Zusammenhang einer negativen Beeinflussung der Lungenfunktion durch eine Überdruckbeatmung bei herzinsuffizienten Patienten mit schlafbezogenen Atmungsstörungen konnte hier nicht bestätigt werden.

Microstructural investigations of thermally aged nuclear grade type 316L stainless steel welds were performed by electron microscopy methods. The microstructures of the thermally aged welds were compared to non-aged condition. Characterization of the secondary phases formed during aging performed by analytical transmission electron microscopy (ATEM) methods and to identify the thermal aging temperatures and times at which microstructural changes can be observed.

International audience; In this study, we investigated iron–magnesium exchange and transition-metal trace-element partitioning between magnesium silicate perovskite (Mg,Fe)SiO3 and ferropericlase (Mg,Fe)O synthetised under lower-mantle conditions (up to 115 GPa and 2200 K) in a laser-heated diamond anvil cell. Recovered samples were thinned to electron transparency by focused ion beam and characterized by analytical transmission electron microscopy (ATEM) and nanometer-scale secondary ion mass spectroscopy (nanoSIMS). Iron concentrations in both phases were obtained from X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy measurements and nanoSIMS. Our results are the first to show that recently reported spin-state and phase transitions in the lower mantle directly affect the evolution of Fe–Mg exchange between both phases. Mg-perovskite becomes increasingly iron-depleted above 70–80 GPa possibly due to the high spin–low spin transition of iron in ferropericlase. Conversely, the perovskite to post-perovskite transition is accompanied by a strong iron enrichment of the silicate phase, ferropericlase remaining in the Fe-rich phase though. Nanoparticles of metallic iron were observed in the perovskite-bearing runs, suggesting the disproportionation of ferrous iron oxide, but were not observed when the post- perovskite phase was present. Implications on the oxidation state of the Earth and core segregation will be discussed. Transition trace-element (Ni, Mn) concentrations (determined with the nanoSIMS) show similar trends and could thus be used to trace the origin of diamonds generated at depth. This study provides new results likely to improve the geochemical and geophysical models of the Earth's deep interiors.

International audience; Natural mid-ocean ridge basalt (MORB) samples recovered from diamond-anvil cell (DAC) experiments performed between 33 to 89 GPa and 1700 to 2600 K were studied with a transmission electron microscope (TEM). We used the focused ion beam (FIB) lift-out technique to prepare the recovered high-pressure, laser-heated samples for TEM study. Observations of TEM sections show the presence of five phases for samples transformed at pressures ranging from 33 to 45 GPa: Al-bearing Mg-perovskite, Ca-silicate perovskite, stishovite, and two Al-rich phases. The Al-rich phases were identified by selected area electron diffraction (SAED) patterns and chemical composition analysis, and include the new aluminous (NAL) phase with hexagonal structure and the calcium ferrite (CF) type phase. Chemical analyses obtained by analytical transmission electron microscopy (ATEM) show that Mg-silicate perovskite is the major host for Al, with significant amounts also distributed between the CF-type and NAL phases, and less than 1 wt% in stishovite. Beyond pressures of ~40 GPa (~1100 km depth), the Al content of Mg-perovskite and CF-type phase increases. Between 45 and 50 GPa, the NAL phase disappears. This mineralogical change may explain reported seismic anomalies in subduction zones at mid-mantle depths

Essen, Univ., Diss., 2002 Die hier vorgestellte HG/LT-GC/ICP-MS (hydride generation/low temperature-gas chromatography /inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry)-Kopplung ermöglicht eine simultane Speziierung der Elemente Antimon, Arsen, Bismut, Blei, Germanium, Iod, Quecksilber, Selen, Tellur und Zinn. Die Kombination des eigenkonstruierten gaschromatographischen Separationssystems mit einem ICP-MS-Detektor stellt ein exzellentes Verfahren zur Identifizierung von 44 Spezies mit Nachweisgrenzen im pg-Bereich dar. Die Untersuchung klinischer Proben ist ein wichtiges Gebiet in der Elementspeziierung, die die Gesamtgehaltsbestimmung immer weiter in den Hintergrund drängt. Der Bedarf an Informationen über die Mobilität, Speicherung und Toxizität von metall(oid)organischen Verbindungen in biologischen Systemen wie dem menschlichen Organismus ist essentiell und erfordert Daten nicht nur über die Konzentration der vorhandenen Metall(oid)e, sondern auch über deren Bindungsformen. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit gelang die Anwendung der Multielement-Multispezies-Nachweismethode auf klinische Matrices. Hierbei konnten metall- und metalloidorganische Verbindungen sowohl in den Körperflüssigkeiten Speichel und Blut, als auch in den menschlichen Ausscheidungsprodukten Atem, Haar, Stuhl und Urin nachgewiesen werden. Da die Bindungsformen, in der die metall- und metalloidorganischen Verbindungen in allen klinischen Proben mit Ausnahme der Atemproben vorliegen, der Gasanalytik so nicht zugänglich sind, wurden die Analyten mittels der Hydrierungstechnik in ihre korrespondierenden flüchtigen Derivate überführt, welche dann der Separationseinheit zugeführt wurden. Studien mit Kontrolle des Ausscheidungsproduktes Urin zeigten die Auswirkung von Fischverzehr auf Arsen- und Quecksilberkonzentrationen in den Urinproben oder die forcierte Ausscheidung von Arsen-, Selen-, Quecksilber- und Zinnverbindungen nach Einnahme des metall- und metalloidbindenden Präparates Asparagus P. Studien mit Kontrolle des Ausscheidungsproduktes Stuhl zeigten die forcierte Ausscheidung von Germanium-, Arsen-, Quecksilber- und Zinnverbindungen nach Einnahme der metall- und metalloidbindenden Alge Chlorella pyrenoidosa. Ein Vergleich der Atemproben von Probanden mit und ohne Amalgamfüllungen lieferte den Nachweis von elementarem Quecksilber in der Expiration der Amalgamträger, wohingegen im Atem der amalgamfreien Probanden kein Quecksilber nachgewiesen wurde. In Speichelproben, die unmittelbar nach der Entfernung der Amalgamfüllungen genommen wurden gelang der Nachweis von Methyl-, Dimethyl- und Ethylmethylquecksilber. Ebenso konnten in Stuhlproben ein und zwei Tage nach der Entfernung von vier Amalgamfüllungen Methyl- und Dimethylquecksilber nachgewiesen werden. Nach dem Verzehr einer mit anorganischen Bismutsalzen angereicherten Mahlzeit konnte in Atemproben Mono- und Trimethylbismut sowie in Urinproben Mono- und Dimethylbismut nachgewiesen werden. Die hier durchgeführte Speziierung bei Haarproben lieferte ein breites Spektrum an metall- und metalloidorganischen Verbindungen. Für die Spezies der Elemente Arsen, Bismut, Selen, Quecksilber und Zinn konnten die unterschiedlichen Eliminierungspfade aus dem menschlichen Organismus anhand der parallelen Kontrolle der Ausscheidungsprodukte Urin und Stuhl bestimmt werden. Die Methylierung von Selen und Arsen im Organismus konnte nachgewiesen werden, wobei hier auch der Nachweis des Trimethylarsens in Humanurinen gelang. Ferner wurden für die Elemente Antimon und Bismut erste in vivo Hinweise für deren Methylierung im Organismus gefunden. Die Studien über das Element Quecksilber lassen sogar auf die Methylierung anorganischen Quecksilbers sowohl in der Mund- als auch in der Darmflora schließen.
